The food and the service was to notch! Had the chicken schnitzel and my wife had the marinated chicken and both were excellent! We sat by the window and got to people watch as well! Had the Triple Chocolate for dessert and it was fluffy and tasty! Highly recommend

Grilled chicken salad was superb with a subtle mixed herb dressing and the chicken snitzel seemed like like at had been double crumbed as it was nice and crunchy with a mountain of home cut chips and a creamy mushroom sauce

The food was good and the waiter was pleasant. However, the reheated, industrial bread—four pieces of bread—charged at €4.20 extra, which is very expensive, especially since you only find out it's charged after the meal.

Please read the latest reviews before considering a visit. Out of all the places I visited during my 4-night, 5-day stay in Amsterdam, this was the worst restaurant. This restaurant treats customers discriminatorily. (I'm not sure if it's racism, or if the treatment varies depending on one's mood or appearance...) Seeing several negative reviews starting from the latest ones, it seems the owner or the system has changed. If the food had been good, I wouldn't have left a review, but I am leaving this one so that others do not have the same experience I did. 1. The Coca-Cola was served completely flat (did they give me a leftover?). The Coca-Cola I had left over from yesterday probably had much more carbonation left than this. 2. Sitting by the window, I couldn't hear the waiter clearly, and when I asked him to repeat himself a few times, he continued to respond with a mocking tone. He also suggested additional menu items that he hadn't asked about to other tables (there were three other groups), and took my order without specifying that there would be an extra charge. So, I ended up paying an extra 4 euros for bread that wasn't even warmed up. 3. The steak was delicious. However, the mushroom sauce was a bit greasy. The tough parts were so tough that I couldn't chew and swallow them, so I had no choice but to spit them out onto a napkin in between bites. 4. The pasta sauce was fine, but the noodles were all broken. I am not a toddler, but they kindly broke all the noodles for me before serving them. ^^ 5. Despite providing poor service, when it came time to pay, they told me that if I had been satisfied with the service, I could just add a tip to the bill. Having had the experience mentioned above, I naturally only paid for the food I ordered; perhaps offended by this, they finished the meal with curt service until the very end. For reference, I never once heard a "thank you" at this restaurant. It didn't look good to see them treat us carelessly and turn away abruptly, unlike other customers. So, as a petty act of revenge, I didn't say goodbye at the end... haha. Since I have lived abroad for a long time and traveled extensively, I do not believe my experience at this restaurant was simply my own delusion. It was definitely an unpleasant experience. It seems my positive impression of Amsterdam completely crumbled the moment I stepped into this place, which I had decided to eat at last.

A very disappointing experience. We were watching our budget, but this establishment seems to take advantage of tourists who don't speak the language to inflate the bill: • We ordered an iced tea, but the size wasn't specified: we were automatically served the large one (an extra €2.50), which was also watered down and had an excessive amount of ice. • Bread was brought to our table without us asking, only to discover on the bill that it cost €4.20. Forcing customers to order large sizes by default and bringing unsolicited food at an extra cost is a truly dishonest practice.

What a wonderful experience this was. We had a fantastic meal here, and everything was taken care of down to the last detail. Every single dish looked beautiful on the plate. The golden-brown onion rings with that rich dipping sauce were especially highly recommended, but the rest of the meal certainly did not disappoint either. It was a very successful evening in a lovely setting. We will definitely be back here again.

We were two , not very hungry so we wanted to share a burger, the grumpy unfriendly host/owner/ waiter refused to serve us by fabricating a lie about the oven not working while he did take the order of all the other customers, and the previous ones were being served! Disgusting behavior 🤮

Not recommended. We wanted to sit on one side and the waiter rolled his eyes and said it was reserved (not sure if it was). Then we sat wanting to order, he suddenly said: oh there is a problem with the kitchen and it takes AT LEAST 40 minutes to fix it. He accepted the order of other customers though!

My wife and I stopped in in to the international dinner grill for a late night. Dinner. Was brought in and sat right away and had very courteous and friendly service throughout the meal. Wife had fish and chips and I had spaghetti with meat sauce. Also had some spring rolls with sweet chili sauce. At the end for dessert we had the Dame blanch and it was good. Although in the US it's chocolate Sunday. Two other desserts with pistachio and a triple chocolate mousse. We took those back to the hotel for late night dessert. All in all, we had an excellent time here and could highly recommend it.

Delicious food and very nice service

Alex was fully attentive and made sure we had a great meal. We were only in Amsterdam for 3 nights but spent the first and last meals here. All 4 meals we had were fantastic, perfectly flavoured and prepared and we will definitely return here! Alex made us feel like we were the only people in the restaurant and we felt like we were the most important people even though the restaurant was full. Fully recommend this place, in particularly the Mexican chicken, fruitti de mare and any of the steaks.

This was the best restaurant I've ever had on my 6th visit to Amsterdam. I had the medium 400g Italian ribeye steak, and it was absolutely delicious. The doneness and meat quality were excellent. They also had a ton of fries, and the mushroom soup was truly superb. You absolutely must try it! The pork ribs were salty and delicious. The carbonara was also rich and delicious. The Italian coffee (just Italian coffee) was delicious. I was very satisfied with the entire menu, the atmosphere, the cleanliness, and the service.

Excellent food at a reasonable price, and the service is fantastic! Ahed even went with the kids to get hot chocolate from the bakery down the road and really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Highly recommended!

I'll start with the positives. The service was great, and really friendly. I had a schnitzel with salad, but the salad was more of a side dish than a proper salad. The schnitzel was dry and full of gristle. I suspect it was a frozen product. The fries weren't cooked through and were completely unseasoned. Overall, apart from the drinks, the price/performance ratio wasn't right.

When we arrived it was empty, which made us suspicious of its quality, given its central location. We finally ordered meat, and everything was very good and the portions were generous.

They charge €2 for ketchup that should normally come with the fries, and they take too long to take the order.

I liked it. Excellent value for money. We spent around €25 without dessert or alcoholic drinks. I recommend the burger and the grilled meat. The service was amazing. The atmosphere was warm with pleasant background music. High chairs available. Not wheelchair accessible. Clean restrooms.

The environment was quiet and clean. The food was fantastic. The owner was very generous, upgrading our hot cocoa from regular to one with Bailey's juice for free—it was amazing! It was the owner's signature blend, something you wouldn't find on the menu.
