We, the drivers, came in at the very last minute for a hot meal; unfortunately, the kitchen was closed from 8:00 PM. They still managed to make a tasty schnitzel with fries. It tasted amazing, really delicious. What also stood out was the good service. They came by every so often to ask if everything was to our liking. Simply highly recommended.

Top restaurant with 2 amazing owners, and the rest of the staff is also very pleasant. The food is always amazing; Chef Nicolle certainly stands for that. And Arnoud makes it a feast at the table. Both so friendly and hard-working.

Ended up spontaneously after a day at Beekse Bergen. What a fantastic restaurant! Friendly and sociable owner. Pleasant, efficient service. Lovely atmosphere and ambiance. But I must mention specifically that the three of us had a truly divine meal. Magnificent and very flavorful fish soup, amazing mussels, and (as promised on the menu) an absolutely melt-in-your-mouth steak. Everything was perfect, beautifully presented, very flavorful, and not a single flaw. While settling the bill, you hear in passing that one female chef manages to pull it all together wonderfully. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, first class; we will most certainly be back here..

Two weeks ago, we had a delicious lunch here with a group of 10 to 11 friends. We arrived a little before the official opening time, but were allowed to take a seat. We were received incredibly warmly and immediately felt welcome. The service was top-notch: friendly, attentive, and hospitable. The food was delicious, with the ribs being an absolute must-try! The atmosphere is also very cozy, and it is a lovely place to sit. All in all, a great experience. Definitely recommended if you want to enjoy a nice lunch with friends or family. Thanks for the lovely afternoon; we would love to come back again!

We were looking for something to eat after our visit to Beekse Bergen... it's just a few minutes away from here... I chose the 'can't choose' grill platter with turkey, steak, and pork... we had a delicious meal! Very pleasant service. The location itself fit the holiday atmosphere perfectly... This place caught my eye because of its beautifully designed menu with a Brabantian text. Of course, we had to try it out, so the four of us decided to dine here and made a reservation right away. A fantastic place with very friendly staff. You immediately feel at home. The food is excellent and well-prepared, a feast for the taste buds. I highly recommend eating here and having a wonderful evening. We unanimously decided to try the rest of the menu as well. A solid 10!

We were looking for places to eat on the route to Safaripark Beekse Bergen. What a friendly owner! So much humor in his way of welcoming guests; it was really enjoyable to eat there, beyond expectations! Steppegras was also really delicious! I would come back to eat there again just for the atmosphere if I am in the area.

We settled in after an evening visit to the Beekse Bergen. At Beekse Bergen, they only had fries and pastries; this restaurant was only a few minutes' drive away. Ideal. During the week, you can still dine until 8 p.m. We chose the chicken satay, which was pleasantly good. The quality and the menu make us want to come back again. The price was excellent, around €30 per person, including some bread, a main course, and drinks. They kept an eye on everyone to make sure they had enough to eat.

Stopped here for dinner after visiting Beekse Bergen. Highly recommended! Delicious goat cheese salad! The kids' menu has a wide selection, plus some crayons and toys. Excellent service and a lovely atmosphere.

I don't usually write a review, but I'd like to take a moment to do so for this restaurant. We happened upon it by chance and decided to stop because of the interesting menu. We ultimately chose the prawns with steppe grass—unbelievably delicious! Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, dessert arrived. The homemade nougatine ice cream cake is one of the best desserts I've had recently! The service was also quick and very friendly! Highly recommended if you're in the area!

Because throwing away is a waste. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The quality of the food can also be called good. Perfectly cooked steak, delicious steppe grass, our company enjoyed it immensely.

Old-fashioned interior, price and quality of the food was bad. Expensive and small portions. I had stew with steppe grass for 24.50 euros! When they ask if it was enough and you say no, the host indicates that you could have had a large portion with extra payment. Then it becomes very expensive. And the lettuce was dried out and very little.

Warning ‼️ if you have kids please please do not visit this place with them. We decided to have dinner here on Christmas eve, worst decision ever. It seems the owner doesn’t like the kids, he wants kids to SHUT and DO NOT MAKE ANY SOUND. Seriously who treats clients like this ?!! Just to clarify few things- our kids 15 months and 8 years were NOT running around. Owner had problems with how kids talk. If it bothers someone they are 100 other ways to mention it rather being rude to your customers.

1st time, but won't be back here again. The food was very tasty (stew & steak) but when the children (1.5 and 8) were 'free' after dinner, they apparently made too much noise (read = laughing / giggling and not crying / roaring / or shouting) and were apparently a nuisance to them. The boss decided to talk about this in the 3rd person to his staff, instead of coming to our table. Very customer unfriendly and underhanded. Could also have come to us, we really paid attention to it all the time, and it was a snapshot, certainly not constant. And well, that's how children are, sometimes my comment was, 'oh yeah?!' was his answer. Serious. Then do not open a (family) restaurant, especially not on Christmas Eve, or make admission from age 12 a house rule. We skipped any dessert, asked for the bill and left. Very unfortunate. In response to your comment: Wow...and also lying to get a better look. This concerns children running around in a corner where NO ONE was walking and what they did for a maximum of 5 minutes, they just finished the food quietly and neatly at the table. Joh, and the 'other side of the room' was the table next to us, which our daughter found touching, experienced no inconvenience at all, we paid attention to that. And btw, you assigned us the table in the middle yourself, why? There was no noise, no crazy situations, I would never accept that and I find it absurd that you use those terms. Not a single guest or employee spoke to us. Isn't that more convenient? So I don't understand your response at all, completely exaggerated. Unfortunately you cannot change children, fortunately, first look at yourself and your hospitality. Too bad about this sad Christmas Eve, we felt very unwanted, we didn't want to leave at all, even the waitress was surprised, that also says something. But it doesn't matter, I'm just happy with the satisfied reviews that apparently do matter.
