We had another delicious meal with our 2-year-old grandson today. It was lovely and cozy.

Very cozy restaurant in the foreign area between Tilburg and Hilvarenbeek.

Delicious food, just the right amount, super tasty. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The kids had a great time too, and there were so many options! We felt very welcome, and the atmosphere was great. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

I don't usually write a review, but I'd like to take a moment to do so for this restaurant. We happened upon it by chance and decided to stop because of the interesting menu. We ultimately chose the prawns with steppe grass—unbelievably delicious! Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, dessert arrived. The homemade nougatine ice cream cake is one of the best desserts I've had recently! The service was also quick and very friendly! Highly recommended if you're in the area!

Because throwing away is a waste. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The quality of the food can also be called good. Perfectly cooked steak, delicious steppe grass, our company enjoyed it immensely.

Old-fashioned interior, price and quality of the food was bad. Expensive and small portions. I had stew with steppe grass for 24.50 euros! When they ask if it was enough and you say no, the host indicates that you could have had a large portion with extra payment. Then it becomes very expensive. And the lettuce was dried out and very little.

Small cozy restaurant, where we ended our holiday with a delicious dinner. The staff is very friendly and hospitable, you immediately feel like a true guest. The menu is surprisingly versatile. The food is really delicious. Haven't had such a good meal at a restaurant in a long time. The children (5-12 years) also loved it.

Warning ‼️ if you have kids please please do not visit this place with them. We decided to have dinner here on Christmas eve, worst decision ever. It seems the owner doesn’t like the kids, he wants kids to SHUT and DO NOT MAKE ANY SOUND. Seriously who treats clients like this ?!! Just to clarify few things- our kids 15 months and 8 years were NOT running around. Owner had problems with how kids talk. If it bothers someone they are 100 other ways to mention it rather being rude to your customers.

1st time, but won't be back here again. The food was very tasty (stew & steak) but when the children (1.5 and 8) were 'free' after dinner, they apparently made too much noise (read = laughing / giggling and not crying / roaring / or shouting) and were apparently a nuisance to them. The boss decided to talk about this in the 3rd person to his staff, instead of coming to our table. Very customer unfriendly and underhanded. Could also have come to us, we really paid attention to it all the time, and it was a snapshot, certainly not constant. And well, that's how children are, sometimes my comment was, 'oh yeah?!' was his answer. Serious. Then do not open a (family) restaurant, especially not on Christmas Eve, or make admission from age 12 a house rule. We skipped any dessert, asked for the bill and left. Very unfortunate. In response to your comment: Wow...and also lying to get a better look. This concerns children running around in a corner where NO ONE was walking and what they did for a maximum of 5 minutes, they just finished the food quietly and neatly at the table. Joh, and the 'other side of the room' was the table next to us, which our daughter found touching, experienced no inconvenience at all, we paid attention to that. And btw, you assigned us the table in the middle yourself, why? There was no noise, no crazy situations, I would never accept that and I find it absurd that you use those terms. Not a single guest or employee spoke to us. Isn't that more convenient? So I don't understand your response at all, completely exaggerated. Unfortunately you cannot change children, fortunately, first look at yourself and your hospitality. Too bad about this sad Christmas Eve, we felt very unwanted, we didn't want to leave at all, even the waitress was surprised, that also says something. But it doesn't matter, I'm just happy with the satisfied reviews that apparently do matter.

Definitely recommended. I eat in many restaurants (at home and abroad) and I know few restaurants where the price-quality ratio is so incredibly good. What a great welcome, very friendly host once at the table, nice menu with a lesson in Tilburg for those who have not yet mastered it. We had a very delicious meal here, the steak was very tender and the spareribs were very tasty! friendly staff. Sometimes you need a dictionary to translate the speech impediment into Dutch, and it's a shame that they don't serve Fries here 🤪😜.

Very nice restaurant. After a day in the Beekse Bergen we had dinner here with our 1 year old daughter. The little girl was immediately in love with the bead table that is ready for the little ones. Restaurant feels very homely. We immediately felt welcome (which is sometimes different with a hyperactive 1 year old). Very pleasant staff and nice atmosphere. Nice menu with good variety. Children even have their own menu card. Food tasted good, although you should of course try the super thin fries. Recommended after a day at the zoo. Had a nice dinner! Will definitely come again when we are in the area.

Had a nice meal outside on the terrace. Operation is fine. Both chose steppe grass. Terrace under the chestnut trees, so you can sit comfortably even in sunny weather. For the children, climbing frame with slide next to/on the terrace.

Scandalous. I called to see if I can make a reservation at 8 p.m. and the young lady said it won't be possible then. That's not how you treat regular customers. And the wine you pay a lot of money for and you get a drop in your glass, so little is poured.

After a long car ride (my son was taken to a festival) it was time to eat, and coincidentally we came across this cozy and attractive cafe. The food was great, service extremely friendly, steak very tender as indicated on the menu. The menu was in Brabant and in plain Dutch 😃. Menu has something for everyone, if you are in the area of ​​this cafe then this is definitely recommended.

This is such a cute little place to stop for a bit to eat and something cool or warm to drink depending on the weather. It's really convenient next to the bicycle path just outside Tilburg, heading to Hilvarenbeek. I had trouble with my ebike and the husband and wife Team are wonderfully warm people. The husband is multi lingual and speaks English and German, perhaps more languages. And the wife looks after the kitchen. I definitely recommend stopping by if you get the chance! Child friendly but also alcoholic drinks available.

Verplichte kost voor iedere Brabo die naar boven de rivieren is verhuisd. Zelfs de kaart ademt alles van het Goede Leven. Fijne sfeer, uitstekend eten, aardige mensen, en een keuken die accommoderend is voor speciale wensen. Het is even weer zoals het vroeger thuis was, en daar kan je dan terug in Utrecht, weer even op teren.

Echte Brabantse gastvrijheid met heerlijk eten.
