Service: The service is friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. They come by regularly to ask if everything is to your liking and if you'd like another drink. The interaction feels natural and welcoming, which contributes to the relaxed atmosphere of the evening. Food: The food at Den Hemel offers a wide variety of dishes, from classics to more surprising options. A fun concept is the Share Main Course Platter, where you can enjoy different dishes from the menu together. This makes it ideal for groups or if you simply want to try a bit of everything. For my starter, I chose the Hemelse prawns, which were delicious. My table companions chose the "Spieljes" (parsley) and the burrata, and they were also very popular. For the main course, we both opted for the Share Platter, which included tacos, fried cod (kibbeling), prawns, steak, and a burrito. All dishes were well-prepared and tasted fresh, making the platter highly recommended if you can't decide or just want to try several things. For dessert, I chose their ice cream cocktail. It was truly delicious: full of flavor, perfectly balanced, and with just the right amount of alcohol. Not overpowering, which allowed the fresh and creamy flavors of the ice cream to shine through. A surprising and successful end to the evening!

We chose it at random during a weekend trip to Beekse Bergen with family. No regrets. We went with six people at a busy time. Very friendly and efficient service, especially considering the crowd. The drinks and food were excellent for the entire group. And the prices were quite reasonable. Highly recommended.

On Saturday, July 12th, we celebrated our parents' 60th wedding anniversary. We had a delicious lunch and the staff provided excellent service.

Lots of flies & bees in warm weather. Too expensive for a meal: children's pizza = thick pizza dough (bread) with ketchup and no tasty cheese. Bread pizza is a better name, but 9€ way too expensive!! The Netherlands is known for their quiche: here 3 small round pies??

We had a very nice meal on our trip, so nice that we came back the next day and I ordered the same thing. You can always ask for fries if you want, great. The second day they forgot something in the kitchen, just a bit confused but still very pleasant staff. They gave us a place as soon as possible at the children's playground where our son liked to play and which was completely fenced off. Definitely recommended for children! We will come back when we are in the area.

Arrived here unexpectedly on Saturday evening around 6pm and could choose a free table🍀 We didn't really know what we wanted to eat, so we had a platter with starters and a platter with main courses. 🙄🙄🙄 It was deliciously prepared and it was a lot. Waitress suggested to take it with us, which had put the meat in a neat box. 🤔😜😍

Average food, nothing special and no special flavors. Bavette was very well prepared, but not tasty. Ambience is not special, chairs outside are not comfortable and the table is too high. Quality-price ratio 1 star.

Delicious food and at an affordable price, only the dessert was very disappointing. I had ice cream with strawberries, but it did not match what is on the site in the slightest. I think 2 or 3 strawberries cut into pieces, vanilla ice cream that had little taste and whipped cream from a can. Will definitely come back, but a different dessert. 😁

Two days in a row we had a great meal. From Beekse Bergen. Good price-quality ratio, beautiful location and decor. Friendly service. Very suitable to go with young children A little more control in the service is desirable. Everyone walks very fast but inefficient. Teach everyone not to walk empty-handed. Taking out plates took too long both days.

Rond twee uur hier naar toe gegaan voor een koffie, een borrel en wat hapjes. Toen we aankwamen was het erg druk maar we werden vriendelijk ontvangen en begeleid naar een ronde tafel waar we met ons vijven perfect aan pasten. De bediening is zeer vlot, behulpzaam en vriendelijk en ondanks de drukte zaten we er rustig. Zowel het kersengebak als de borrelhapjes smaakten erg lekker. De prijzen zijn aanvaardbaar en we hadden een perfecte middag.

We visited for dinner on a weekday as we stayed at the lake resort nearby. The service was good. They have a small selection of toys for children and high chairs available. Food was really good, a tad pricey for a share platter. I would definitely recommend again. Good parking, easy access toilets and easy to locate

The food was little, especially the vegetables and served much too quickly. They were outside again within 1.5 hours (starter, main course and dessert) and very noisy, much too busy, it looks more like a food bar. The staff was very friendly, unfortunately it took them 10 minutes to explain what the specialties of the day were, but they couldn't do anything about it. Other than that it went well.

Na jaren al twee maal niet goed gegeten vandaag de Thaise curry visschotel voorzien van een soort bolognaise saus i.p.v. een pittige curry saus wat je mag verwachten en geserveerd met lauwe en flink doorgebakken frietjes . gewoon jammer altijd goed geweest schijnbaar het e.e.a. toch veranderd buiten de interne verandering die niet succesvol genoemd mag worden.

Cafe. Place for cyclists between Tilburg and Hilvarenbeek. Nice terrace in the sun. And sit covered when it rains. Customer-friendly and smooth operation.

Last week, due to a combination of circumstances, I ate here 4 times. A very nice place with sufficient attention for the guests, even when it is busy. The children have also been thought of by a cupboard full of games that they can pick themselves. The food is of excellent quality and I would recommend everyone to have lunch/dinner here. Reservations can be useful. 1 small tip: perhaps ask people less often if they want more drinks.

Definitely recommended!!! It looks nice/cosy, both inside and out! Excellent and clean toilets, changing room and a lift. Furthermore, hospitable and friendly service with sometimes a bit of humor. And not unimportant...the food is also delicious and good for your wallet...

Very nice restaurant with good food for a good price. The staff is extremely child-friendly, upon arrival we were immediately asked if they could warm up something for the baby and where we wanted the high chair. I have eaten here a few times now, the food is exceptionally delicious, including the desserts and snacks, the service is extremely friendly and fast but not pushy, a very pleasant atmosphere inside and reasonable prices. The only downside is the parking lot, there is a kind of white/gray slab of gravel on the path, which not only gets the outside of the car dirty, but also your pants and shoes, so you discover the next morning that the inside of the car is also covered in white gunk and the many holes in the path make it a kind of off-road experience, too bad... unless you like cleaning your car.

Een uur op ons eten moeten wachten. Helaas was het ook nog eens lauw. En het ergste van allemaal…. De parkeerplaats. Dit is niet geasfalteerd. Onze schenen, broeken en auto waren vies! Ik ben na het bezoek aan jullie een half uur bezig geweest om mijn auto schoon te krijgen. Echt schandalig!!

I think this restaurant is based (and rightly so) on the bad reviews of the restaurant at Park De Beekse Bergen. It is a large restaurant with a beautiful outdoor playground for the children. We were 8 people. The service is very professional. They managed to get everyone in our party's food on the table at the same time. Good coordination. Friendly staff. Especially considering the price/quality ratio, I can highly recommend this restaurant. A short drive from De Beekse Bergen.

Dit restaurant draait volgens mij ( en terecht) op de slechte recensies van het restaurant van park de Beekse Bergen. Het is een groot restaurant met een mooie buiten speeltuin voor de kinderen. Wij waren met 8 personen. De bediening is zeer professioneel. Ze slaagden erin om het eten van alle personen van ons gezelschap tegelijkertijd op tafel te zetten. Goede coördinatie. Vriendelijk personeel. Zeker gezien de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding kan ik dit restaurant zeer aanbevelen. Op korte rijafstand van De Beekse Bergen.

Food is okay. Location is nice, provided there are not too many people inside. Ours was packed. You cannot have a conversation with each other because of the enormous noise. Service was bad for us. Due to the crowds, we specially requested that the main courses of those who did not have a starter come at the same time, but that ended up going wrong. I only received my only dish after almost 2 hours. Another 3 people only then received their 2nd dish, while the rest of the table had now finished their starter and main course! Several people in our group of 15 people had pointed this out, but the staff insisted: they are working on it. No excuses?. Really nice dinner...? You've been looking forward to it for weeks... and I'm sorry for the people who organized this and made reservations weeks ago. Drinks... for some, on an assembly line. I only did 1 in 2 hours. I finally ask for something to drink, since it is not seen..., I get something I specifically did not order. It's something. Apparently no catering staff or all very coincidentally. Very tough, but if one cannot handle the capacity, do not pretend that it is all normal, the way it is and that everything is supposedly under control and show no understanding or regret... that is really a no-go as far as I am concerned. Shame..
