What a lovely spot! This restaurant exudes coziness from the moment you walk in. The warm lighting, cozy tables, and soft background music immediately create a romantic atmosphere, perfect for a night out or a pleasant lunch with your partner. The staff is friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. They really take their time with you and make you feel welcome. Another bonus: you never have to wait long between courses; everything is perfectly timed.

As a tourist, it's difficult to get in without a reservation, so keep that in mind. And rightly so, because it's definitely worth it. We had the main course with two adults. Very tasty, though a bit small for two. The children's menu was perfect for the kids. The crème brûlée was delicious, and the kids loved the ice cream. A cozy atmosphere and excellent service.

This is our fourth time here, and the quality is still consistent, even though it was packed. The dishes are beautifully presented, just a little bit different. The toasted sandwich had a different bread than last time, which was delicious and just right in terms of crispiness. The friendly and welcoming staff kept a close eye on everything. Delicious toasted sandwiches, and we'll definitely be back.

We were looking for a nice place for lunch and ended up at Den Hemel Inn. We received a very friendly welcome; seven of us came for lunch. We got a table right away. After our order was taken, drinks were served shortly after. Lunch was also taken quickly and served quickly. We had a delicious lunch. It's a shame we don't live nearby, otherwise we would definitely have come here more often for a quick and delicious lunch.

Delicious food. The menu changes regularly. And the service is always excellent. We went back yesterday, and the layout has changed a bit, but it's still a cozy place where the classic inn spirit reigns supreme. The menu offers something for everyone, from meat to vegan. Thankfully, they've ditched the idea that everything has to have eggplant. Hope to see you again soon.

Last Thursday, the three of us had dinner at Den Hemel. Excellent value for money! We all had different dishes, all excellent. The food arrived quickly and the portions were generous. We even had dessert.

We had dinner at Herren den Hemel yesterday, it was delicious! There were seven of us and we ordered a variety of dishes. The seasonal platters were delicious! Everything arrived at the same time, and we didn't have to wait for our drinks. They were on top of everything, so we hardly saw any empty glasses ;) In short, I recommend it to everyone.

Delicious food for a fair price.

I simply didn't like the food. I ordered a mixed grill. The steak was tough and tasteless. The schnitzel had been cremated, the satay skewer was bone dry, and the membrane on the sparerib was still attached. I mentioned this. I was offered a new mixed grill but declined because I'd lost my appetite. They weren't difficult or anything. A lot of respect for the wait staff. They were very professional and friendly. The atmosphere is also great.

During my visit to Herberg Den Hemel, I had a very disappointing experience. It was pleasant to sit outside, but there were constantly tons of wasps and flies landing in the drinks. That can certainly happen in the summer, but what really bothered me was how they handled it. When a fly was in my drink, they took it away and promised me a new glass. To my surprise, however, the staff returned with the exact same drink, with the fly simply removed. I witnessed this with my own eyes, even though I was told it was "a new drink." This time, I didn't even get a bottle, which made me feel unfair. Hygiene and trust are fundamental requirements for me, and both were lacking here. It's a shame, because the location has potential, but I wouldn't recommend anyone to drink there this way.

A surprising and successful end to the evening!

Lots of flies & bees in warm weather. Too expensive for a meal: children's pizza = thick pizza dough (bread) with ketchup and no tasty cheese. Bread pizza is a better name, but 9€ way too expensive!! The Netherlands is known for their quiche: here 3 small round pies??

We had a very nice meal on our trip, so nice that we came back the next day and I ordered the same thing. You can always ask for fries if you want, great. The second day they forgot something in the kitchen, just a bit confused but still very pleasant staff. They gave us a place as soon as possible at the children's playground where our son liked to play and which was completely fenced off. Definitely recommended for children! We will come back when we are in the area.

Arrived here unexpectedly on Saturday evening around 6pm and could choose a free table🍀 We didn't really know what we wanted to eat, so we had a platter with starters and a platter with main courses. 🙄🙄🙄 It was deliciously prepared and it was a lot. Waitress suggested to take it with us, which had put the meat in a neat box. 🤔😜😍

Delicious food and at an affordable price, only the dessert was very disappointing. I had ice cream with strawberries, but it did not match what is on the site in the slightest. I think 2 or 3 strawberries cut into pieces, vanilla ice cream that had little taste and whipped cream from a can. Will definitely come back, but a different dessert. 😁

Very suitable to go with young children A little more control in the service is desirable. Everyone walks very fast but inefficient. Teach everyone not to walk empty-handed. Rond twee uur hier naar toe gegaan voor een koffie, een borrel en wat hapjes. Toen we aankwamen was het erg druk maar we werden vriendelijk ontvangen en begeleid naar een ronde tafel waar we met ons vijven perfect aan pasten. De bediening is zeer vlot, behulpzaam en vriendelijk en ondanks de drukte zaten we er rustig. Zowel het kersengebak als de borrelhapjes smaakten erg lekker. De prijzen zijn aanvaardbaar en we hadden een perfecte middag.

We visited for dinner on a weekday as we stayed at the lake resort nearby. The service was good. They have a small selection of toys for children and high chairs available. Food was really good, a tad pricey for a share platter. I would definitely recommend again. Good parking, easy access toilets and easy to locate

The food was little, especially the vegetables and served much too quickly. They were outside again within 1.5 hours (starter, main course and dessert) and very noisy, much too busy, it looks more like a food bar. The staff was very friendly, unfortunately it took them 10 minutes to explain what the specialties of the day were, but they couldn't do anything about it. Other than that it went well.

Na jaren al twee maal niet goed gegeten vandaag de Thaise curry visschotel voorzien van een soort bolognaise saus i.p.v. een pittige curry saus wat je mag verwachten en geserveerd met lauwe en flink doorgebakken frietjes . gewoon jammer altijd goed geweest schijnbaar het e.e.a. toch veranderd buiten de interne verandering die niet succesvol genoemd mag worden.
