Very cozy and good food. It's great that the seats are reasonably screened off and the layout is such that it's not noisy.

I had dinner at Grand-Café de Zwaan a while back. I had shrimp in yellow curry sauce as a starter, delicious tender spare ribs as a main course, and white chocolate and strawberry mousse for dessert. As always, it was delicious, and they have a completely gluten-free and lactose-free menu. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful lunch on a Saturday afternoon. A lovely spot outside on the terrace, quiet, and exceptionally friendly and attentive staff. The food was delicious, the sticky chicken was literally finger-licking good, and portions were unlike anything you've ever seen: generous. And the latte, just as it should be.

It's nice that you can eat gluten-free there.

The food was delicious, I definitely recommend the salmon fillet with tagliatelle, I will definitely come back here again.

Really cozy grand café located on the typical Brabant "village square", everyone knows each other. Kitchen is solid and good. Service very friendly and prices too.

Good stay there. Called and asked if we could sit outside. Reservations outside are not allowed, I understand that. Once we arrived we were able to sit outside, but someone from the service told us that an even nicer spot had become available at the front. Now that's hospitality. Just good staff which is rare these days. Food was also very good.

We arrived late on Easter Monday having stay at the Beeks beegen safari hotels. We had tried two other restaurants and unfortunately they were closed. We fell upon this restaurant and the people who worked there could not have been more polite, friendly, accommodating and helpful. We had steaks and the children had chicken and fries with salad. All of our food was as beautiful even though they had closed their kitchen. They offered us a photograph of us as a souvenir from our trip and have the children a chocolate Easter bunny. I cannot thank them or recommend them enough. What a beautiful surrounding and beautiful people. X

Nice place, good food. I had a camembert starter, which I expected something different from. It was quite big. I would rather make a few small bites of this. But tastes differ. It tasted good, but I couldn't finish it by a long shot. The service was great, everyone was nice and knowledgeable. When we went to pay we had a chat. And held the door open for us. Really great service. Will definitely come back again!

De Zwaan is a very nice place for a drink or a delicious meal. I sat here with my wife and mother-in-law and all three had a wonderful time. The staff are extremely friendly, the atmosphere is very warm and the food and drinks are really excellent. This is definitely recommended to go for a nice drink or a delicious meal.

Reception was sublime! We had to wait at the bar with a drink until a table became available. Ran very smoothly. Keep a close eye on everything! Once at the table, deer carpaccio in advance... so delicious!! Great atmosphere with top service! All the food was excellent! We had a very good evening!

We ate here 4 times over 2 days as loved it that much! Fab coffee and pastries on a morning, and absolutely delicious dinner. The yellow Thai curry was up there with the best, great satay chicken, and amazing mango cheesecake. Super toasties in the daytime. Friendly and efficient service and dog friendly too. Good value, great atmosphere in a lovely village setting. Highly recommend.

After a tour we arrived in Hilvarenbeek on a Monday evening. We ordered something nice to drink and a snack. Later that evening we wanted something from the menu, actually the kitchen was already closed but she still wanted to make something. I ordered a cheese board and it was truly delicious.

We had dinner here with 3 girls and felt very comfortable. The food (2 x salad with fish and 1x spare ribs) was super delicious 😋. The service was on point, nice and friendly. So highly recommended!

Be careful they are NOT serving burgers well done. That's red. And they will tell you that the meat is the kind that can't be well done and always served red. Service is good but to a point. To avoid is my advice if you want a well down red meat.

De Zwaan remains a Hilvarenbeek household name. Always good with friendly service. Never ordered anything that was disappointing. In the winter they also have a campfire and blankets for the Vrijthof.

Went there for a family meeting and dinner and the food was really really good! They have in the menu all allergens indications and the personnel also are informed and very careful in giving recommendations to make sure it all works good if you have an allergy (in my case I have an allergy to gluten)

I come here regularly and enjoy it. The food is of good quality and in addition to a fixed menu (vegetarian, fish, meat), there are monthly changing starters, main courses and desserts, which are not on the menu. There is also a varying beer offering, in addition to the regular menu. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. It is a large location: there is seating downstairs and upstairs, and two options for outdoor dining. Nowadays you can also reserve a table!

Kort na Kerst heerlijk gegeten hier. Voor derde keer diner in 2 jaar tijd in onze vakantie en weer top. Gezellige sfeer en zaak is fraai ingericht. Personeel is attent en vriendelijk. Menu van de chef dit keer genoten. Maar andere aanrader is ook de poke bowl.

Net een heerlijke French Koffie op met een snoeperke. Was weer even gezellig. Altijd een warm welkom geheten door het gastvrije & vriendelijke personeel. En de entourage doet Ook warm aan. Hier heerst echt nog de Brabantse Gastvrijheid. Ik kan je zeker aanraden om er is spontaan binnen te gaan, en ervaar zelf, de Sfeer die Het uitstraalt.

We kwamen hier spontaan binnen om te lunchen met 7 personen. Hoewel de zaak vol zat, mochten we wachten aan de bar tot er een ruime tafel beschikbaar was. Ondertussen namen wij een drankje aan de bar en niet veel later werden we gehaald en naar onze tafel begeleid. Het personeel hielp ons erg goed en met veel enthousiasme! De kaart was goed gevarieerd en de gerechten waren van prima kwaliteit. We sloten de lunch af met een kop koffie en een gebakje. O,ja, voor de liefhebbers, er is een mooi assortiment (speciaal) bieren. Wat ons betreft een absolute aanrader!

Personeel was meer met elkaar bezig dan met de klanten of de zaak. Achter ons was een hoge tafel nog vies toen we kwamen. Toen we gingen bijna 1 uur later was deze nog vies. Werd niet afgedaan. Achter de bar ook veel troep/ afval op de grond. Sinde mooie zaak. Personeel moet even weer op de puntjes gewezen worden denk ik.

Heerlijk glutenvrij gelunched, ze hebben het hier qua allergenen goed voor elkaar en nemen het zeer serieus. Nergens last van gehad en ik ben zeer gevoelig (Coeliakie). Service ook top en vlot, ik had een taai biefstuk en dat werdt direct omgewisseld door een malse. Aparte glutenvrije kaart!

Wij verblijven in het safari resort van de Beekse Bergen en waren op zoek naar een leuk en lekker restaurantje in de buurt. Binnen 10 min ben je hier en wij hebben genoten. Verwarmd terras, onwijs vriendelijk personeel, je werd snel geholpen en de gerechten kwamen ook vlot maar wel zo dat je genoeg tijd had om het eten even te laten zakken. Prijs kwaliteit is naar ons idee slecht en dit bedoelen wij POSITIEF! Het is namelijk echt zeer betaalbaar en het eten van hoge kwaliteit (zeer lekker en goede porties). Wij komen zeker nog eens terug als we weer in de buurt zijn. Bedankt voor jullie gastvrijheid, wij hebben heerlijk gegeten.

Een fijne kaart met veel opties, ook vega. Het eten is heerlijk en staat in perfecte tijd op tafel (niet te snel, niet te langzaam). Voor het hoofdgerecht mocht je zelf aangeven of je het meteen wilde of even wilde wachten. Service is erg alert en vriendelijk, geen lege glazen gehad en tussendoor kwamen ze vragen of alles naar wens was. Lang geleden dat we zo’n zorgeloze avond uiteten zijn geweest, nergens zelf om hoeven vragen. Heerlijk genoten!

Voor zowel lunch als diner is het heel fijn zitten bij De Zwaan. Ontzettend gastvrij, heel goede gevarieerde kaart met lekkere seizoensgerechten. Absoluut een aanrader!
