cuuuuuteee place we got the sandwich with omelete and chorizo and the pancake with “spek en stroop” and some other stuff. All of it was so cozy, comfy and lots of it. Home-y food and vibe. New comfort spot!

Very disappointed. My coffee came very much spilled, and when I wanted to order pannekoeken, they said they were done with lunch tim. Half an hour later when I went in to pay, I saw two ladies JUST getting started on their pannekoeken. I tried to ask nicely why couldn’t we order some then, the server was not having it and she shut me up saying “it’s a busy day and I should just stop”. Rude service and nothing special coffeewise I’m afraid.

Nice atmosphere. We were looking for some drinks in thr cold night, we've got a blankets and we were chilling outside late in the night m the staff was very nice to welcome us even for a drink. Looking forward for their menu

The food is so so, and the staff seemed a little disoriented.

Tried to order a take away coffee, was told that no take away coffees being served anymore - you had to sit in or nothing, which was mind boggling since it was packed and I’d assume that making a take away coffee would be efficient…I pay the same amount as everyone, but I leave with a coffee and you get more space for more customers. Doesn’t logically make sense to me. This was my second time here, the first time, I felt like I wasn’t allowed to sit for a second longer after I was done with my drink. Just weird service rules that I’m not a fan of. I wish there was more competition for this cafe :) they get away with it because it’s the only hipster place around x

I was there for the first time and I was not impressed. Although the coffee is delicious, the breakfast menu is not available until several employees are there, so in my opinion, it was a waste of time since I was going for breakfast. They only had croissants available. The place has a Bohemian decor, every chair and table are all different.

There were two of us there, and each of us had a delicious breakfast. We liked the staff and the ambiance. The price-performance ratio was acceptable for the city.

Had a cup of tea on a Saturday morning. It was okay. Pleasant atmosphere. I was treated, so I don't know the price.

The service here is indeed rather mediocre, as in slow. You often have to walk to the bar yourself if you really want something, but then you usually receive friendly help. As a positive side effect, there's no one standing next to you every five seconds to disturb you, and you can relax and enjoy the pleasant terrace and friendly atmosphere. The menu is unpretentious, as is the clientele, and that makes it a great spot—refreshingly authentic.

€4.90 for a very subpar flat white. Such a shame. The ground coffee beans covered a significant portion of the rim of the cup, which isn't nice. It was also heated far too hot, making it too bitter.

Here we compare dogs and children and to summarize you have to keep them on a leash (read the first page of the menu!). Go elsewhere if you are against discrimination (because yes it is women who most often have children so with this kind of him it just makes them feel guilty). I know it is fashionable to hate children so it will not shock many people. I hope they are nicer to people with severe autism

It is a really cosy spot with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel right at home. We went for breakfast, and the food was delicious and well-prepared. The prices are very reasonable. It's a great place to relax and enjoy a good meal. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Great cafe! Service was super friendly. I had the best flat white in Amsterdam here. The apple pancake was also excellent. You get powdered sugar and syrup to adjust the sweetness. I would love to come back.

I went here for tea with my girlfriend. The atmosphere was okay. Service fast. Nice guy who helped us. We were surprised that everything was so open and exposed on the bar. This is the same bar where dishes are dried, where customers are served, where people sit and talk (with consumption)💦💦 That last idea in particular made me a little nauseous. It is not hygienic. Add a few cloches over it and you're done. Because it's not just that people who talk about consumption pollute it, but I can also see flies or other insects come up, or dishwater. I will never eat here either! The floor inside was also dirty. There was rubbish (dust, a leaf here and there, paper). I find that quite shocking. Run a vacuum cleaner through it. We won't be back. It's just not clean.

If I could give zero stars I would. The place looks cozy, but nothing could be further from the truth. The owner barked at several customers and was extremely unfriendly to us. As a result, there was a grim atmosphere. It wasn't the fault of the rest of the staff, it was really just the owner. Definitely don't go!

Great cafe, I liked coming there. I find it strange that they are broadcasting the Tel Aviv match. Not as inclusive as I expected.

Very nice tent, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, tasty cakes .... but for years you have had that malt-colored bread improver fake bread with all your sandwiches/sandwiches. Any baker would be ashamed of it. Too bad because that brings the whole experience down a bit.

Didn't went in there, but a guy came out to tell us that we're waiting for the tram on the wrong side of the street. 10 of 10 for service and kindness. ❤️

Ongelofelijk nodeloos bij de hand personeel dat na bestelling demonstratief lang niet bezig ging met onze bestelling . (Als je geen beter baantje kunt vinden en dan toch in de horeca moet werken ). Triest.

Let me start with this: I have never written a Google review in my life. But because of the service in this tent, I have left with an unpleasant feeling several times, after eating and drinking coffee, because it is delicious. Anyway, such arrogant service leaves a bad aftertaste. I have now lived in Amsterdam for about 15 years and alone, really alone, in this ministry I understand what my friends from outside Amsterdam mean by 'Amsterdam arrogance'. These girls look at you as if they are doing you a favor by giving you a minute of their time. Every time I was here it took at least 20 minutes before I was helped. And once I was helped, usually by walking to the bar myself, I was helped by an employee with an irritated look and a sigh. Terribly arrogant. Often communicate in a bored tone. Moreover, everything moves at a snail's pace, and food and drinks are put on the table without saying 'enjoy your meal'. The cafe looks nice and the food is tasty, so I tried it several times, but this is not worth your time and money.

Simple but fast even though it was full.

Baas ongastvrij en onbeschoft. Met deur open was het binnen ijskoud (buiten 10 ° C) en daardoor zeer onbehaaglijk. Deur mocht niet dicht. Dit zou 20 % aan klanten schelen. Aangegeven dat wij hiermee de deur uit werden gejaagd. Maakte hem blijkbaar niks uit. Als vaste klant zijn zij ons hier in elk geval kwijt. We zijn vertrokken en ergens anders naartoe gegaan. Genoeg goeie, warme en klantvriendelijke gelegenheden in de buurt.

Very cozy place! I enjoyed the pancake with cheese & bacon. The sandwich was simple. Then we sat in the sun with a nice piece of cake.

Love this place! The girls are always super nice, the coffee and cakes are great and love the cozy atmosphere.

Rarely have I experienced such a child-unfriendly business. Owner has no interest in children, even if they are only 2 years old. I would start a business in pedagogy. Apparently never had children myself. When I read the reviews like this, you make a sport of pointing out people's mistakes. And if you are so stressed, it is better not to run a catering business.

Zeer kindonvriendelijk restaurant. Eigenaar is totaal niet in staat om met kinderen van 2 jaar om te gaan. Ze lachen te hard, kan dan zijn klanten niet verstaan terwijl de muziek hard staat. Kortom geen aanrader met kinderen.

Together with my mother we both ate a pancake and had a drink. It was pleasantly busy. A nice cozy tent and nice service. It was neatly indicated that it was a bit busier in the kitchen and that it might take a while. We were in no hurry and it didn't take that long at all. In short, an asset to the neighborhood

That's all well and good, but I still got strange looks when I ordered a Bloody Mary at 2:30 p.m.

Er kwam 20min lang niemand naar onze tafel, wel steeds naar anderen. Misschien omdat we engels spraken, als ik zo de reviews lees? Er waren drie mensen aan het werk en twee daarvan hadden mij in de ogen gekeken en geglimlacht haha dus ik weet niet waarom ze niet even naar de tafel kwamen om te vragen wat we wilden hebben. Het was ook niet heel druk ofzo. Maar goed, toen heb ik bij de bar wat besteld. De broodjes zijn goedkoop, dat is fijn, maar van mij mag er wel wat boter op het broodje kaas. Citroen maanzaad cake was beetje droog maar wel lekker. Verder is het wel een gezellig plekje.

Wat een leuke zaak. Als er een plek was waar ze de woorden knus en gezellig hadden uitgevonden, was t deze plek. En heerlijke gluhwein en ze hadden oranje wijn...zalig!!!

Lugar cerca del albergue Stayok con comida sana y todo estaba muy buena. Decoración muy “cozy” y la chica que nos atendió muy simpática y amable. La carta solo está en holandés, es decir, poco turista ;-)

This is a lovely little cafe/bar with great outside seating, and a super cozy inside area to enjoy. The staff are friendly, and they have a good drinks menu 🙂.

We didn't eat, we only had 1 drink right after a show my partner performed at. My partner messaged me to come and have a drink with some other performers and I accepted. Nearly 30mins travel in my car, and about another 20mins and still the first and only round hadn't arrived. The place inside and out was a handful of people and still drinks came way too delayed for us to find the service acceptable. No idea what the issue was and don't care. Even me waiting less than the rest , service was slow. Atmosphere was what my partner our friends and myself made of it, and we made it gezelig enough.

Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, cose semplici ma di gusto e con un prezzo giusto. L'ambiente è veramente affascinante e loro gentili e accoglienti. I giochi in scatola a disposizione degli ospiti invitano al relax. Unica pecca: i dolci non coperti sono poco igienici...anche no :-)

Gemütliches Familiencafé. Freundliche Bedienung. Empfehlenswert. Das "Crumbled Apple Pie" sah sehr verlockend aus. Ich habe die Versuchung aber ignoriert. 😉

"De jonge Admiraal" -The Young Admiral- restaurant was definitely one of the top ten coolest I visited. Cosey and stylish inside and great seatings outside. Service is dedicated and kind, lovely people. The menu looks good and my latte had a beautiful heart on top. They have two outside seatings and a bar. The bar is NOT for notebook nerds but exclusively meant for person to person conversations. Have a look at my photo of their cakes, delicious! Recommended! Eerste avond dat we er waren duurde het zo lang om onze drankjes te krijgen. De gintonics bevatten te veel gember (?), en de tweede avond viel ik er door een stoel! Toen was de bediening beter, maar ofwel repareer je een stoel ofwel doe je hem weg, dit had erger kunnen aflopen 😉
