Delicious food and friendly service.

If you ask to use the toilet as a heavily pregnant woman, you are only allowed to if you pay a euro. Bizarre. Especially if you go there often for lunch. We won't be going there again.

Very good service, we will definitely come back here.

Absolutely worthless. First, I had to order drinks alone because the kitchen was busy. A grand total of 5 tables occupied... lunchtime..... the number probably says it all. Due to the busyness, the waitress didn't even know which table had already been served; well, there were 5 of them, after all. Carpaccio on a ciabatta isn't served on a ciabatta either. The taste was really mediocre too. For now, this was the last time I'll be here.

The food we received was very tasty and certainly enough. The staff was very friendly. Top notch.

1 star is actually too much when it comes to the food. I ate there for the 3rd time today. Tried again, but after today, it really is the last time. Hot meat with mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, and peanut sauce. The only thing that is tasty is the dry bread roll with the peanut sauce. The bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms come from a jar and are heated up. Carpaccio salad. Lots of iceberg lettuce and you have to search for the Carpaccio in a mountain. Poffertjes are served cold. A waste of the shop. Brie sandwich, pine nut mix, honey. Brie is nowhere to be found. Very disappointing!!! The lady behind the counter really wants to make up for it. Hopefully, she gets the chance.

We had a delicious meal at Deli-Café Spijkenisse. On the recommendation of the waitress, I ordered the chicken melt, as I mentioned that I liked spicy food with a touch of sourness. The staff brought our drinks quickly. The frozen smoothie is very tasty and refreshing in this weather. It wasn't very busy (understandable, everyone is sitting outside in this weather), so our food was on the table within 5 minutes. My girlfriend had a carpaccio sandwich. Our food was prepared deliciously. The staff came back several times during the meal to ask if we were enjoying it and if we wanted another drink. The price is a bit on the high side, but everything was generously topped. Upon leaving, the staff member in the kitchen also took the time to say goodbye and ask how it tasted. In short! We had a great lunch!

Once, never again. Came in, saw outside that it literally always stands in the top 10 for best service and hygiene among the best restaurants; no joke, I thought, this place. Looked at the price list by the door and saw 3.50. I thought, coffee for that price must be okay then, right? Top 10 best restaurants?! Sit down at a table with 2 cups of dirty, empty coffee on it, and that while there were maybe 10 people in the place? But I wanted to sit by the window opening because it was warm. I thought it would just get cleaned up quickly, made eye contact, got ignored, but oh well. Nice weather, so I didn't make a big deal out of it. He cleared the cups away, didn't wipe anything down, but asked: what would you like to drink? No simple smile, just that question. Coffee please, I answered, two cups for me and my wife. Well, not good coffee, lukewarm and flat. Oh, the table was never wiped down with a damp cloth and was sticky, so it was. Finished my coffee, really needed it, went to pay, and I have to pay 7.50, that 3.50 was the takeaway price. How is that even possible? A takeaway price... bad coffee, bad service, bad customer interaction, and then claiming to be in the top 10, so number 24... But anyway, they are very good at lying. Never again.

There is a sign by the door stating that they are in the top ten best restaurants (currently ranked 23rd, so we decided to skip lunch). And the claim about the best coffee and lunch can be taken away from them as well; they probably won it years ago. The coffee had a slightly sour aftertaste, and as it was nearing completion, it became increasingly bitter. You shouldn't lie on your outdoor sign.... it was a huge disappointment.

Had breakfast with a friend around 9:30 AM. The carpaccio roll was delicious and the caramel latte was also great. Friendly service. Wonderfully quiet, and we were able to sit by the window to watch the shoppers. Next time I'll take photos because I will definitely be coming back here.

Not recommended because it is not cozy and the staff are not friendly or cheerful.

I had lunch at Deli Cafe today. For the first time, and also for the last time. My first impression was good, but then things went south. The Caramel Coffee barely had any caramel, and I had to ask for caramel cubes. The ham and cheese sandwich didn't come with any sauce, even though I asked for it. It wasn't really a sandwich, but a panini. It was fine, but not what a toddler would expect. The plates had deep grooves from cutting, and they really needed replacing. The cutlery baskets were covered in mold and rust. It looked disgusting. The sandwiches were otherwise quite okay, but lacked any frills (dry iceberg lettuce with some carrot, no dressing, for example) for a lot of money. Unfortunately, this won't be our new regular spot.

We wanted to grab a quick drink, but unfortunately, the ladies were too busy talking to each other. They did give us a few glances, but apparently it didn't occur to them to take action. We left after just under fifteen minutes without a drink. In short, it's quite a nice place, just a shame about the totally uninterested staff.

Disappointing experience with the “Bombay” I opted for the Bombay with chicken fillet, tomato, curry and herb cheese. However, what I got was very different from what I (rightly) expected. Instead of pieces of chicken fillet as usual with these types of dishes, I literally got slices of chicken, as if they came straight from a package. The curry was not mixed in, but sprinkled loosely and unevenly on top. The taste was lacking and the smell unpleasant. What made this experience even more annoying was the way the staff responded. Instead of understanding, I was told that no one ever complains about this and that I must have read the card wrong. They indicated that it always concerns chicken slices. Then they themselves referred to other dishes on the menu that stated 'chicken pieces', as if I should have read through the entire menu first to avoid disappointment. As if it was my fault for assuming that “curried chicken breast” means warm chicken pieces, seasoned and prepared, not cold slices with some loose powder on top. In short: a disappointing dish, and an unprofessional, patronizing response from the staff. Shame.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to try the food or drinks. Upon entering, we were greeted kindly by two staff members. We chose a table and took our seats. Ten minutes later, no one was at our table to take our drink orders. People who arrived later had already been helped. The staff member did glance our way several times, then started clearing tables and helping people at the cash register. After about fifteen minutes, we left.

I wanted to have a nice bite to eat and drink with the 4th of them on Sunday afternoon, but before I sat down I first went to the toilet, what I found there is indescribable, a toilet covered in shit, too gross for words, then I already ate and drank. . Warm meat, was actually watery broth with slices of fricandeau. (From the freezer perhaps? That's how it seemed anyway.) They were very fast, I had ordered a coffee first and with the first sip of coffee the lunch came already.

I tried to eat there yesterday with my husband. There was hair in the glass, the glasses were cloudy and dirty. The food was just awful. Microwave-heated meat with a cold center, a hard baguette, and rotten lettuce. Sorry, but shame on you for daring to give that to people.

This was really bad. Tables, cutlery, and glasses were dirty (maybe they should have been replaced). The egg salad sandwich was just thrown on the bun and wasn't fresh. The price/quality ratio was too high. Definitely don't recommend it; walk a bit further for much better sandwiches. Very expensive for the quality you get. It.

We ordered 2 toasted sandwiches, a coffee and a tea. We got our toasted sandwiches ' regular white Panini's with a blob of garnish. Later when we had already half finished the "toasted sandwich" the drinks arrived. When the plates were collected the lady asked, did it taste good?. I answered that it was disappointing. A good waitress then asks what the problem is... but apparently only an O should suffice. Also paid to the same lady and again she neglected to ask what the problem was. The total amount was 22 Euros!!!!! Ridiculously expensive for what we got. I will never go to this place again!!!

Vroeger ging ik met plezier erheen. Maar na een aantal keer slechte kwaliteit ben ik er na vandaag wel klaar mee. Ik had een tosti hawaii maar het broodje was nog deels rauw en hij is schuin gegaan waardoor de helft van het broodje nat was van de kaas. Ben ik terug gegaan met alleen de vraag of dit zo hoort , vroegen ze of ik een nieuwe wilde. Ja graag, werd er heel arrogant naar mij gekeken en het broodje hard in de vuilnisbak gegooid. Het 2e broodje was ook weer helemaal schuin, wel langer bereid maar weer schuin en nat. De smaak was niet lekker door de aangebrande kaas. Ik zal hier niet meer eten. Latte machiato was lauw maar wel lekker

It can't be true that there are staff preparing sandwiches with centimeters long blue painted nails. This is really not allowed according to HACCP rules. manager needs to say something about this.

Geen slecht restaurant maar was er wel klaar mee toen ik een werkneemster met centimeters lange nagels( in knalblauw gelakt) broodjes gezond zag klaarmaken achter de balie. Dat de manager hier niets van zegt, dit mag echt niet volgens de hygieneregels.

Warm brown baguette with chicken and mango chutney €11.00 Got white baguette because they hadn't read it properly, but I didn't feel like waiting another 10 minutes, so okay then. 5 to 6 strips of chicken on top, lots of lettuce and a few slices of cucumber and yellow sauce on top. Lukewarm and not warm enough. I didn't see any chutney or taste any mango! Very sparsely invested. Give it a 5 2. Warm white baguette with beef strips of teriyaki sauce for €14.50. Meat was served separately in a pan and was a kind of stew. Very sweet sauce, little soy sauce flavor. Also too little meat for the sandwich +- 25cm. Also a big 5. All in all... You won't see us again

Delicious lunch in a cozy restaurant. Very friendly staff. Food was very good, for me the salad with goat cheese and fresh ginger tea and for my husband the salad with salmon and green tea.

Had a very nice lunch, drank fresh ginger tea and the wife had a delicious 'go nuts' special latte macchiato (with hazelnut). For sandwiches we had a white baguette with chicken mango chutney, very tasty! And the lady had a white carpaccio baguette, always good! Very tasty food, see you next time!

Wij waren er voor de lunch, goulashsoep was lekker. De provencette Nordique viel tegen. Was van binnen klef. Hij was ook heel bleek waarschijnlijk niet lang genoeg in het apparaat gelegen jammer.

Due to cremation, take public transport to Spijkenisse. Took plenty of time, also to eat. Nice eatery. And despite it being busy, quick service and good food, in a cozy atmosphere.

Long wait (Almost an hour (during lunch time)). Sandwiches are made cheaply, young cheese, wet chicken fillet slices, factory egg salad and 'bacon'.

Food was not tasty and too much Cold.

Too bad we wanted to have lunch there, they don't have soft rolls, which I had never experienced in a sandwich shop.

Quite disappointing experience plus getting charged 4,50€ for a coffee. Asked for a coffee with oat wilk with some ice inside and what they got me is a warm coffee with foam. From my point of view the quality of the service and product should be aligned with the pricing, and it was not.

Had a club sandwich this afternoon. I'm a fan of that. Apparently I didn't read it properly, it says polar sandwich. I had only looked at what was on it. Not worth repeating, what a soggy bite and that for 11.95. My husband had a baguette filé am. Spec. that was good. To me, a club sandwich is just nice square bread and cut in half.

Completely agree with Lisa's previously written review... 1x Ghylain baguette… €9.50 PARDON? Woooohhhh, ridiculously expensive. Is a baguette with filet americain, stripe of green pesto over it, the pine nuts were sunflower seeds, flecks of Parmesan cheese were old and thick and I couldn't put pomodori tomatoes on it because there weren't any and then I still had to pay €9.50 for it! Taste sensation was good, but €9.50 is on the pricey side for this baguette? Staff had difficulty accepting my “constructive” criticism due to discussion of sales price ratio? I also thought the floor while waiting for the order and especially the drain looked very "hummy" and dated. For me, price-wise, not worth repeating.

Sate Ajam was niet lekker. Satevlees en satesaus was vlak van smaak en proefde of het uit de magnetron kwam. Het werd met stukjes stokbrood geserveerd, hier paste niet eens satevlees op. Aangeven bij afrekenen dat het niet lekker was en toen vertelde de medewerkster dat het satevlees bij de poelier vandaan komt. Dit heeft niets te maken met de smaak. De medewerkster haalt de schouder op en daar kun je het als klant mee doen en €14,00 per bord af rekenen. Nooit meer zal ik hier naar toe gaan.

9/10. Definitely recommended if you have just gone shopping and want a drink + Friendly service + Good view & nice place to sit - No ice cream on a hot summer day

Ridiculous. This is pure money-making. If you want to eat inside, you pay almost double the price, while the 'take out' prices really hang over your head. So if you don't pay attention, instead of 10 euros you will immediately lose 20 euros, and then it is "your own fault" You actually wait 10 minutes for the simplest sandwich that just arrives cold. Service wasn't too good either. They just get scared when you finally want to take your food with you.

Had a delicious breakfast again this morning, it was delicious again.. The staff is always friendly and do a very good job 👍... Of course you will recognize the staff and they always know what we want first. We have been coming to you for several years now and it is always good. Heerlijke saté geserveerd in zwart bakje met satésaus. Daarbij garnering van sla, atjar, salade en kroepoek en het verrukkelijkste brood dat ik ooit proefde. Hierbij klein pakje boter. De vriendelijke bediening kreeg ik er gratis bij.

Went for a lunch. Got coffee but didn't see anyone afterwards to take an order.

While it was very quiet, I had to wait 20 minutes before I got my breakfast. The coffee was delivered 10 minutes earlier and was cold when I could eat... In addition, the breakfast was incomplete. Cutlery and crockery were dirty. When I pointed this out to the employee, my response was: "O...okay."

The girls were very attentive, neat and friendly! What we experienced as bad was that those girls were lectured by their employer. And that was quite noisy, I would do that in a place where there are no customers!

Delicious food despite my allergies

Diverse keren hier geweest voor een lunch of gewoon een bakje koffie met wat lekkers erbij, vrij drukke zaak met voldoende en vriendelijk personeel. Eten is goed, alleen jammer dat de wachttijd voor je bestelling soms vrij lang is.
