Deyacos Restaurant & Bar in Burgwallen-Oude Zijde

I went to the restaurant based on the positive reviews, unfortunately I got disappointed with the restaurant service upon arrival, we chose bigger table for couch comforts but the waiter didn’t allowed, again we asked for 2 cups of ice she didn’t bring it .. and said not allowed to use cola from outside, Our major shock that they charged us for ketchup 1 euro and 2 euros for Siracha sauce !! And they hadn’t informed beforehand!! The food was fine .. never back again Plz any one here charged for the sauces!!

This was so incredibly delicious, I can recommend this to everyone. The staff was super friendly, the atmosphere was good, and the food was fantastic. The meat was super tender and the fries were very tasty. We will definitely be back here!

I came with three friends. We waited 40 minutes to order drinks, and after an hour, we still hadn't received them. The sparkling water was served lukewarm, and the food arrived an hour and a half after we arrived. The quality needs improvement, and I find this unacceptable for such a highly rated restaurant. I do not recommend this place.

The food is fine but way too expensive for what you get; the smash burger is a standard burger. Typical tourist spot. Service ridiculous, had to ask for cutlery three times, some staff members spoke no Dutch AND ridiculously bad English.

The quality of the meat they have and serve is quite good. I specifically ordered salmon because I was craving some fish, and while it was a little dry for my taste, the meat had a very good flavor and was cooked perfectly. Side dishes are separate, and they have many options to choose from. We ordered cocktails to finish and were quite satisfied overall with everything, and the service was excellent with very friendly staff.

Had a chefs platter. Really good value and a great amount of food to share between 2-4 people. Ribeye was the highlight, and an absolute delight. Wings were great too. Burger was good; no major notes. Sirloin kinda mid We reserved a table too, and when we walked in it was fairly empty but really filled up around 830pm

Our waiter Petra was always close and attentive to our table. She ordered everything quick and made us have a good time!

Found this place on a walk through the area. Excellent choice. Great atmosphere. Prompt service. Had the Classic burger, one of the best burgers I have had in years. Portions were large, meal was delicious and filling. The fries are a must anytime you’re in the area.

İf you’re a MUSLIM DONT GO! From the second we sat down, we said that we don’t want any pork and that we are here for the halal meat only. We even asked them if they grill the beef and the pork separately. We ordered a 2 person menu for 92,- . When the food came, I saw that the burgers had bacon on them so I asked to please take the burgers away and make new ones and not just take off the bacon and put the bread back on. But guess what they did… literally the WORST place to eat. NEVER AGAIN

It's not the most atmospheric place, but the food is really super!!! The chef’s platter is truly chef’s kiss and highly recommended. The service could be a bit better, but it's busy and we respect that :)))

I had dinner here with my boyfriend. We saw it online, so we decided to try it. We were greeted very warmly and kindly. The service was friendly, not overly present, but polite. I personally had a pizza—not great, but still okay. The sweet potato fries were delicious, and my partner had a pretty good steak. A nice place 🥰

Excellent service from our waitress Bae. The Argentinian burger was amazing and the sweet potato fries were probably the best we've ever had! I should tell you it is so big you can split it for two people and not be hungry. Wonderful value for the money! If you're ever in Amsterdam this is a must stop!

They are very slow, 15 minutes waiting for them to take our order, and another 20 minutes waiting for them to bring out 2 draft beers and a coffee, I don't understand the delay.

Finally found something that is a real 'Grill hit'. Everything is prepared with care and attention. Our hostess Petra is truly a hostess as she should be. Hospitality is top-notch here, big thumbs up .. Highly recommended, and definitely not a tourist trap! Not a one-off, but after having eaten here multiple times, quality, hospitality, and attention remain top priorities here. Good value for money, and you don't feel like a customer, but a guest here with this family 👍🏼

Went out for dinner yesterday, never again. We had the Nachos as a starter, but had finished them halfway through by the time our main courses arrived. We had the Three Meats and the Entrecote steak. There were sooooo many pieces of fat on the meat that were inedible, meaning you get significantly less meat than what you paid for. We also ordered truffle & parmesan fries on the side, but only received a small bowl of truffle mayo and there was no Parmesan to be found anywhere.. Additionally, the service was completely unfriendly; a girl stood across from us looking at her nails the whole time and doing nothing instead of helping us..🤦🏼‍♀️ Later, when we had finished (half) our main course, they came to clear our plates and immediately asked if we wanted to pay. After the experience, we didn't want dessert anyway, but this didn't look like an invitation at all. It was just like they wanted to get rid of us quickly. We hadn't even sat there for an hour, and with a bill of €110, it felt like we were being sent away.. For us, a bad experience with a hefty bill for what you get for two people; never again..

the burger with the sausage on top is pretty good! service level varies, can be really bad at times. pro tip: dont sit near a door because nobody will close it and the cold draft is inevidable

I like the Pornstar Martini here and I usually get the spareribs and bone marrow—both are delicious. It’s usually quite busy.

The food was delicious, and the price was totally reasonable! We sat outside and had to wait a very long time for a waiter to come, and again when we wanted to order more and pay. In the end, we had to go inside ourselves and ask because no one came.

Had a good meal (I did find some of the menus a bit pricey, €1 for a small mayonnaise), nice waitress. We wanted ginger beer (not from Schweppes) and she went all the way back to check if they still had it, which luckily they did. Nice atmosphere, though the tables in the back right are a bit close together.

We were there the other day and left utterly disappointed. We both ordered steaks and, given the price, had relatively high expectations. However, these expectations were not met. The service was okay, but the food was a complete disaster. At least a third of the steak consisted of nothing but lumps of fat. My girlfriend's was still warm, while mine was cold, as if it had been sitting in the kitchen for a while. On top of that, I was given an unordered ear of corn at the beginning, which was then removed. All in all, the price is not justified, and we won't be back.

Nice setting, friendly welcome. The pasta was very good, but the four-cheese pizza had a bit too much mozzarella compared to the other cheeses. It's a shame the table was cleared before everyone had finished their plates…

If you want to eat a starter and main course in 15 minutes, this is the perfect place... but based on my experience, I cannot recommend it. I was still eating my starter when they brought the main course. I mentioned this to the staff, and the only reaction I got was a waiter who was laughing. Because he had seen it himself. No apologies or compensation were offered... absolutely not recommended!

I visited the restaurant with three friends. Two of us ordered the burger with fries, which we found enjoyable. My friend and I ordered the Ribeye steak with Truffle Parmesan fries. The fries and accompanying sauces were also very good. I requested my Ribeye steak cooked medium-rare, assuming this would be clearly understood by the kitchen. However, the steak arrived within 10 minutes, which is unusually fast for a busy restaurant and suggested it may have been rushed. Unfortunately, the steak was unevenly cooked: some portions were medium, others very rare or nearly raw, and the fat was undercooked. The outside appeared slightly overcooked, likely due to an attempt to cook it quickly rather than properly. For a dish priced at €30, one would expect proper preparation and attention to detail. I spoke with the chef after finishing the meal, but he did not seem to understand the concern. I chose not to make a scene and left after paying. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, but the atmosphere feels somewhat “ghetto” despite the interior design. There were many British tourists, and the overall vibe felt a bit like “new money” rather than classic or refined. Overall, the experience felt more like a tourist-oriented venue or social media hype. With the cost of my meal, €50 for the steak, fries, and a drink, without appetizer or dessert, one could easily spend €70–80 per person. While parts of the meal were enjoyable, the steak preparation fell short of expectations. I will be including pictures showing the inside of my steak alongside a reference image of what a properly cooked medium-rare steak should look like.

We came as a group of five on a Saturday night, so be sure to book ahead! The food was good, and the service for the main course was quick. However, after we finished our meal, we were never offered a dessert menu or anything else...it was a very slow process.

We ordered the mixed grill platter and the short ribs. The short ribs were so dry I couldn't even cut them with a knife. After I'd taken two small bites and complained, we went to pay. Instead of offering anything, they silently took the meat and charged us in full. After I pointed out to the waiter that he'd just taken all my meat and it was still on the bill, he simply said I'd eaten enough to be charged for it. The waiter tried his best, but the management left much to be desired. We don't recommend this place; they charge such prices but don't even offer the bare minimum of service.

Nice place, very good meat (fire-cooked, nicely grilled), and the four-cheese pizza was good too! However, fries are an extra €4, when the meat alone is already €26, which is expensive. The service was quick. The biggest downside is the air conditioning that blows down on your shoulders 🥶 I ate with my coat on.

We did reserve a table for 2 hours. Everyone working here was really friendly and great. Starters took about 30 Minutes, Main dishes about 50 Minutes after ordering. After 25 Minutes wait time we got informed that the starter might come around the same time as the main dish and the table would be needed in about 50 minutes. Which was after only 1,5 hours of our reservation window. When mentioned we wanted to enjoy some drinks after dinner, the server was nice enough ask if we could get another table later. 15 Minutes later she confirmey we could get reseated after dinner. The uncertainity made me nervous enough I could not enjoy my time here though. My friend got a burger, which we guessed would be spicy. There was NO information on spice levels though. Lets just say it was spicy enough they got sick after eating and we cut our evening short. The pizza dough was bland and the Cheese on the Quattro Formaggi too strong compared. For me it did not fit together well.

The food was really good. Lots of flavor and texture (chef's choice platter, I believe). However, the service isn't ideal, especially on weekends. I'm not a fan of having to hunt down a waiter to order or pay, but the staff were very friendly. It seems more a problem with the low staffing. The atmosphere was nice, and the music was good.

I recently visited your restaurant and had made a reservation in advance. Unfortunately, I had to wait around 40 minutes, and no one came to take my order. During that time, guests who arrived after me were served, but I was completely ignored. I called the waiter twice, yet no one came. In the end, I was disappointed and decided to leave. I had been looking forward to dining with you, but the poor service left a very bad impression. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend your restaurant.
