It’s an ok Italian restaurant. The food is alright. Atmosphere is lovely. They are extremely helpful and friendly. Especially if you are new to the area Also quite accommodating for kids. Quite a romantic atmosphere if you need that.

We've been coming here almost every week for years. We always receive a warm welcome, and the food is delicious. It's like a second home!

Good Italian food is delicious and fresh. They leave you alone while you eat, and when you're done, they don't immediately come and take your plate away. -A tip about the price. The food was good again.

Amazing!! The atmosphere is so welcoming and warm. I haven't encountered this in Amsterdam in a long time. It felt like I was truly in Italy. The food was also delicious.

The food was delicious, but it was a bit too noisy. The music was low, so the other guests were to blame. It's my experience, so I've deducted a star. Next time, I'll bring earplugs so I can give more stars.

I had dinner last week and it was delicious! Nothing complicated, just a tasty and good pasta. They also have a huge selection, which is great for a larger group. The service was fine, but not fantastic.

Yesterday we had another great evening at l'Arena. For a quick pizza you can go here, and if you really want to eat a whole evening with friends or family and want to taste the nice atmosphere you are completely at home here. The service is fast and especially with personal attention and the food is the real Italian kitchen. Delicious dishes.

By far the best Italian I've eaten in a long time! Honest food, prepared with fresh products. The people who work there are very friendly, it's one warm family that works there. It feels like coming home to Italians. When you're in Amsterdam you have to come here. Highly recommended!

I live in Amsterdam and unfortunately I did not know this restaurant. We had a business dinner and I must say that not only did we eat very well but the compliments also go to the owner who turned out to be a friendly, kind, competent person. In short, a gentleman like few others. We will certainly return to this "temple" of good Italian food

We ate here before the half marathon, luckily with a reservation. Nice little restaurant, service quick and friendly. 2x Bolognese and 1 x lasagna. Everything was hot and delivered quickly. Starters platter ok. Dishes taste great! All we can do is THUMBS UP! Clear recommendation.

Nice good service, delicious food. But far too expensive in price-quality ratio... for what you actually get! You leave hungry, and your wallet is empty... If the catering VAT rate soon goes from 9% to a high rate of 21%, then this restaurant will really get into trouble..! Entrepreneur, be wise, adjust your prices..., down. Now a piece of Tuna Balsamic vinegar for €33.75. And "again" I saw afterwards that drinks appeared on my receipt that I had not purchased. is hardly beautiful.

So, I'm not a big eater but I ordered a dish of ravioli stuffed with truffles and I literally received 5 on my plate! However, it’s not gourmet so I’m still hungry! And let's not talk about dessert, I had a tiramisu with crème fraîche and the boudoir not soaked in coffee. So those who recommend, explain to me.

The entrecôte was not medium but very 'dry' & 'well done'. It was not necessary to cut the meat, the chef had already done that for us. But the mushroom sauce was very tasty. This chef won't get his stars. Too bad for a nice place.

Our experience at l'Arena with a group of 20 guests was fantastic! The atmosphere was warm and personal, and the food was great!

Delicious meal for four of us (two couples), nice extensive menu, something for everyone. We had a kind of tasting of the starters. Pasta from the menu was delicious and the veal loin was exceptionally tender in combination with truffle gravy. Dessert, a chocolate cake, also sublime. We will definitely go here more often. Service was very friendly and helpful.

I have been coming here, sometimes with very long intervals, for about 30 years. The quality has always been high, the atmosphere cozy and real attention to the customer. Staff busy and present, but always friendly and humorous with a wink. Really Italian. Location is of course also an excellent meeting point. Keep it that way and we'll keep coming.

Zeer goede pasta en pizza. Heerlijke wijnen. Gezellig restaurant met uitstekende bediening. Ik kom hier al jaren en de kwaliteit blijft prima. Sinds kort een kaart met nieuwe en aangepaste gerechten die heel goed bevallen.

Lovely, cozy place, with delicious food and nice staff. Only this time the veal rib was less tasty. Just as tender, but less seasoned or something and the Tiramisu was also different from our last visit. Nevertheless, we will be back.

Dit restaurant is echt een aanrader!, Ik kom hier regelmatig en elke keer is het genieten!. De verse producten, heerlijke wijnen, de sfeer en de super service van de gastheren Enzo, Geraldo en de gastvrouw Monica maken het ieder keer weer een belevenis!

Bekende locatie in de buurt van het Olympisch stadion. Comfortabel interieur en heel vrolijke en gastvrije bediening. Overwegend Italiaans, maar vloeiend Nederlands sprekend. Ruime keuze voor de veggies! Wijnen niet beoordeeld, maar gelet op de hoeveelheid flessen in de zaak ruim voldoende keuze. Mijn tagliatelle della nonna was vrij groot, maar meenemen was geen probleem. Ook de panna cotta was vrij groot maar absoluut heerlijk. Het tapbier van Italiaanse brouwer is aan te raden. En tot slot gebruiken ze hier de juiste bonen voor een heerlijke koffie. Ik kom graag nog een keer langs!

Heerlijk gegeten. Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel waar je echte service krijgt en het eten echt heerlijk vers word gemaakt. 100% aan te raden aan mensen die van Italiaans eten houden!!

We stopped in here on our first night in Amsterdam, and after struggling to find a decent Italian in Amsterdam on previous trips we didn't have high expectations, but L'Arena massively surpassed these, great food and service, and we will definitely be back on our next visit to Amsterdam. Highly recommend.

I went to this l’Arena in the evening with my partner and we ordered a pasta vongole and a pizza recommended by the restaurant owner. He recommended our wine ( which were very good ) and took our order happily. All the staff is very kind and it was a very pleasant interaction. Sadly I was unable to eat my pizza in the restaurant because of a hurry. The restaurant owner took it upon himself to find out why, he even offered a new pizza if I didn’t like the one he recommended. Absolute Italian kindness! I eventually got to eat the pizza at home and it was one of the best pizza’s I’ve eaten. The entire experience and food is absolutely recommended! Go go go

Op donderdagavond zijn we met een groep van 18 gaan eten bij L’Arena. Dit was onverwacht omdat de reservering bij een ander restaurant niet goed was verwerkt. L’Arena ontving ons met open armen. Zeer vriendelijke Italiaanse bediening, en goed eten voor een eerlijke prijs. Vooraf deelden we de bruschetta en een antipasti misto. Gulle lekkere porties. Hoofd aten we lasagne, risotto, tagliatelle en vlees met gorgonzola. Ook lekker. De wijnen bevielen, net als de limoncello. Kortom, aanrader!

Erg lekker bier gedronken Flea ! Pizza Lorenzo was een fantastische keuze een apart iets en zeer verfrissend. De gastheer was aardig en had een typisch Italiaans Nederlands accent. Eten snel opgediend en de prijs was fantastisch. Aanrader met 5 sterren

Gezellige Italiaan Personeel is gezellig, ze staan altijd open voor een praatje.

Na maanden weer 'ns bij L Arena gegeten. Een smaakloze en taaie Vitello Tonato, een niet hachelen en on-Italiaanse Spaghetti Carbonara en een Spaghetti Aioli die ook niks met Italiaans eten te maken had.

Lekker gegeten, niet echt bijzonder. Twee personen voor-, hoofd- en nagerecht voor 100 euro. Wel jammer dat de eigenaar dan ongevraagd de rekening presenteert omdat de luid aanwezige vaste gasten nog even door willen drinken.

Vi en enkel men mycket god tomatsoppa. Vinet var överprissatt. Personalen jättetrevlig. Kan rekommenderas för enklare middagar

Altijd heerlijk eten en fantastische bediening.

Supervriendelijk en sfeervol restaurant! Je voelt je gelijk thuis. Het ziet er prachtig uit. Bij binnenkomst wordt er gelijk een mandje brood op tafel gezet. Eten wordt snel geserveerd. Helaas miste de pizza wat smaak, maar zeker niet slecht! De gin-tonic was super :) Zeker een aanrader om eens wat te eten.
