It’s a perfect döner place you can order from, I really liked it and even bought the second one. I would advise it for sure. But you gotta order their durum though.

The food did not seem fresh. Meat is hanging there while the fire is out; I don't know how long it has been hanging there. After we ordered our food, we sat down at a table to wait. When the food was almost ready, a staff member indicated that we were not allowed to sit there because the table was supposedly reserved for staff only. However, there was no sign or indication to that effect. When I pointed this out to him, he admitted that there was indeed no sign present, but he insisted that we were not allowed to sit there. I found this very unprofessional. Additionally, the staff member looked unkempt, which did not contribute to a pleasant experience. Never going there again.

I had to wait an hour and a half for an order that wasn't even complete. I paid extra to have the salad and cutlery packaged separately, but these were not included at all, even though they should have been part of the order by default. Next, I received cold, tasteless chicken with rice. I don't know exactly what happened, but the packaging smelled so terrible when it arrived that my trash can still stinks terribly. This was without a doubt the dirtiest and coldest meal I have ever received. And on top of that, you have to pay €30 for it. Truly scandalous! A very disappointing experience.

I normally do not leave negative reviews, but my experience at Doner Baba was disappointing enough that I feel other customers should know what to expect before spending their money there. I ordered food expecting a fresh, decent-quality meal, especially considering the price I paid. Instead, what I received honestly felt like leftovers (“restjes”) thrown together at the last minute. The portion looked messy, the ingredients did not seem fresh, and the amount of meat was shockingly small. For a place that advertises itself as a döner restaurant, there was barely any actual meat in the meal. Most of it was just fries, salad, sauce, and scraps from the bottom of the tray. What frustrated me most was the value for money. The prices are not cheap, so naturally you expect a certain level of quality and portion size. If I am paying premium prices, I expect fresh meat, proper preparation, and a meal that actually feels satisfying. Instead, I left feeling ripped off and still hungry. It honestly felt like they were trying to cut corners and save money by giving customers old leftovers instead of preparing fresh food. The quality itself was also disappointing. The meat that was there tasted dry and overcooked, almost like it had been sitting around for hours. The fries were soggy, and the overall presentation looked rushed and careless. It did not give the impression that anyone in the kitchen cared about the food they were serving. Even the sauces could not save the meal because there simply was not enough substance in the box to begin with. Customer service did not make the situation any better either. I got the feeling that once they had my money, they did not really care whether I was satisfied or not. There was no attention to quality, no friendliness, and no sense of pride in the food being served. As a customer, that is frustrating because all you want is a decent meal that matches the price you paid. I understand that every restaurant can have a bad day, especially during busy hours, but this experience felt worse than just a small mistake. It genuinely felt like I was given scraps instead of a proper fresh order. When you spend hard-earned money on food, you should at least receive something prepared with care and basic quality standards. There are many döner places around that offer bigger portions, fresher ingredients, and much better service for less money. Unfortunately, Doner Baba did not come close to meeting those standards during my visit. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this place to others. I hope the owners take reviews like this seriously and improve the quality, portion sizes, and freshness of the food because right now the experience simply does not justify the prices they charge. Until then, I will not be returning.

Sometimes you crave a shawarma sandwich. Then don't order it from Doner Baba. More than 15 euros for a thinly filled sandwich. It was literally a struggle to find the shawarma, and yes, mostly crumbs and leftovers. To top it all off, free stomach flu. That's the upside... Delivery took a very long time, but the delivery person was friendly.

Unfortunately, I had to wait over an hour for my Uber order, despite promises of fast delivery. My order was missing drinks, cutlery, and salad. I'm very dissatisfied with the service, and if I were to advise anyone, it would be best not to order from Uber.

Quick service, I ordered two drinks and two Döner Boxes. It was served to me quickly warm and absolutely juicy!!! Totally would recommend 10/10.

Super sweet people. We were served quickly for a great price. The plain Turkish pizza was tasty, unfortunately still a bit cold. Unfortunately, there was no music playing. That would add more atmosphere :)

I pay €20 each time, and often even more, because the price seems to keep going up. Yet, I don't get what I ask for or what's promised. I find that very disappointing and absolutely unfair to a loyal customer. For that price, I expect good service, clear communication, and a result that matches my request. Instead, I have to explain what I want over and over again, and even then, they don't listen properly. I feel like my wishes aren't being taken seriously. When I try to give feedback, it's rarely acted upon, and nothing changes. As a regular customer, you expect appreciation and consistent quality. Unfortunately, I'm experiencing the opposite: higher prices, but no improvement in service or results. This causes frustration and disappointment. For me, the price-quality ratio is not balanced. I'm writing this review because I hope the company takes this seriously and changes their customer service. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this business at this time. For me this was the last time I used this.

Ordered a donor with a separate lettuce via Thuisbezorgd. Paid extra for the lettuce! I didn't receive the lettuce; Thuisbezorgd said I needed to call them directly. I've called four times now, and they don't answer the phone! Disgraceful service!

Ordered 5 days ago, delivery went completely wrong. Mistakes can happen, of course. The employee told me that if you order again soon, you'll get a refund. I've taken your information. Of course, I called today to be told they knew nothing about it. Very unprofessional.

Just ordered a kapsalon. The fries weren't fresh at all, and there was no lettuce on the kapsalon. If you can't make food, you need to do something else. This restaurant is a plague on the planet. This should really be illegal. Don't eat here, you could get seriously sick.

Ordered two kapsalon (chicken and veal). The fries were really old (like they were yesterday), and the whole kapsalon was cold. Delivery took an hour. The döner didn't taste good at all. It was a real disappointment after such a long wait. Do yourself a favor and don't order from here.

We've never tasted food as delicious as the one we had here. We're so happy we came all the way from Belgium to Vienna to have dinner here. The food, the service, everything was 10/10. We highly recommend it. It's definitely a restaurant where you can come and eat your fill of döner kebab.

I've been ordering from Doner Baba for a long time, but lately I've been getting the wrong meat, spoiled meat, or just the wrong ingredients. They've also raised the minimum order price, so you can't even just get a kapsalon anymore. I find this a real shame because their kapsalons used to be really good. This is such a shame.

This is dog food. It smells bad, and I threw it away after one bite. I had a stomach ache the next day.

We ordered a döner sandwich and a doner box. The fries in the doner box had been refried fifty times, were incredibly black and very hard. A shame. You expect quality! Especially when you pay 7.50 for a small doner box. Doner Baba won't be seeing me again, because their food is CRAP.

We've been ordering from Döner Baba for years, but unfortunately, the quality has declined significantly in the past year. Today was our last time. Our entire order arrived without the salad, vegetables, or the sauces we'd ordered separately. Furthermore, all the meals were cold upon arrival. When we called, we were promised that the missing items would be delivered as soon as possible, but this took over 50 minutes – by the time they arrived, the food was already gone. For €16, we expected a decent kapsalon (a type of "kapsalon"), but instead received a small bowl of soggy fries and cold döner – without any vegetables or sauce. We understand that prices in restaurants are rising, but the value for money here is completely lacking. We're disappointed, as we've always been loyal customers. However, given the poor service, long wait times, and disappointing quality, we've decided not to order from them again.

Ordered through Uber Eats. Delivery took a bit longer than expected, but no problem. The döner and durum döner sandwiches were great, but the fries were very soft, greasy, and lukewarm.

Ab-or-dinarily disgusting. I ordered Turkish pizza shawarma here. The shawarma doesn't look good in the photos—you'd hope the photo was just bad—but it was just as disgusting as it looks. It was like seasoning sand and putting it in a sandwich. I've never had such disgusting shawarma. The delivery was fine. Pretty fast, and the delivery person was friendly.

Kapsalon comes without fries, chicken fillet grill is partly well fried, partly still pink on the inside. I am pregnant and the staff barely speaks Dutch and apparently cannot read it at all. They are super aggressive and arrogant when you call them out on it. Almost felt threatened by the delivery person who claims he is also the manager there. I just can't believe it. Have been ordering and eating from them since they opened and have never experienced this. This made me so shocked and angry.

I give them 3 stars because the truth is that the food is very good and it is the one that most resembles Spain. But they are talking about the price, they have raised +2€ on everything I think and on top of that they put a small amount for what it is currently worth. Months ago it cost less and they even provided more food. Unfortunately, with that price and the little they offer, I think I won't go again, they have lost a client who came quite a few times. If they improve the quantity or the price I will return without hesitation because it is very good.

I have no idea how they delivered at 2 am in the morning. But someone picked up and said they can deliver. I took a bite and it felt like everything was defrosted and the food was barely eatable. Even the delivery was made late.

These people do not read what you indicate on your order. Then they bring the wrong order and you call them. Then it takes six months before they come, they say they will solve it for you. Then you call them again and they turn off the entire phone. The joke is... you pay a deposit for nothing... because the cans come from the Eastern Bloc...

I personally didn't like the döner that much. Other than that, you can see that they really put effort into their dishes. In addition, the delivery person was very nice. They forgot some fries. Before my hair salon was finished they were back at the door with fries and a drink as a saving grace. The fries were very good by the way!

Slowest delivery time. Countless times they delivered a different drink without even asking on the phone if its okay. Broodjes are half empty, lackluster and cold by the time they arrive. Surprised this place has not shut down yet. Never again.

Very tasty food. We came from Cologne to Amsterdam and then we found the restaurant. We will never forget the food and the friendliness of the restaurant staff. I will always enjoy going to this restaurant and will always recommend it wholeheartedly.

NB! Döner Baba has long been sold! They used to be one of the best Turkish places in Amsterdam. The new owners have completely ruined it. Food is bad, meat is bone dry and not tasty! You often see this happen when a tent is sold, the quality deteriorates rapidly.

Food was bad and fresh from the microwave, even the fries came from the microwave. I never thought I would eat a doner dish for 17 euros that was an Albertheijn microwave package and the sauce was just yogurt with garlic salt.

What a failure, food came over 35 minutes late after calling twice and it came around the corner incomplete. I had ordered a simple kebab menu, with fries (actually) they were immediately forgotten. But at least you added sauces for fries three times... really a disappointment, especially if you're still hungry in the evening and are hoping to get something quickly. I just shelled out €17 for a really bad kebab with a can of cola and that's an absolute disgrace and if you add to that the far too long delivery time and the two calls, I really can't recommend this shop at all. You incompetents………I was so angry when I noticed this in my hotel room. Dirty shop and damn incompetent staff

Staff did not understand the order online because he does not know the Dutch language. Received burnt chicken and kapsalon with only fries and doner. While I added; no tomato and cheese well melted. But he didn't know what melted meant. Delivered again and this time chicken doner instead of veal. VERY BAD.
