There's a wide variety of breakfast options available. We enjoyed it very much. The staff were also very attentive.

A regular customer for years; we used to come here weekly. Unfortunately, a piece of my molar broke off due to a piece of plastic in the jam. I reported this immediately, but nothing was done about it; in fact, we were forced to pay the full amount. Eventually, I sent a message via Instagram stating that I actually disagreed with the decision, but there was no response for 5 days. After 5 days, I sent a message using a completely different account asking if they were open; 5 minutes later, I received an immediate reply saying I was welcome. What a disgrace to deliberately ignore someone who has been a regular customer for 4 years and comes to you weekly when there is a problem, but not even come up with a solution themselves... utterly pathetic!! I also see that responses can be given to some reviews here; I still haven't heard anything, which makes me decide to take this to the NVWA (Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority). If they had resolved it properly, fine, but this is going too far.

The men who work there are super sweet, but the female employees are quite unfriendly and gossip a lot as well. On top of that, they avoid eye contact with the customer, and you really have to walk all the way to the checkout to order... very disappointing.

I would never recommend this place, it's terrible. Your staff wouldn't even look at me, and my order was so late. I had to wait 20 minutes just to call a waiter and take my order. That's how it is.

If you want to eat hair, come here for breakfast or dinner… Instead of an apology at the cashier, the boss told me that I only started complaining after I had eaten, even though my plate was full. And I paid €18 for a hair in my dish.

Highly recommended: tasty fresh fries, chicken fillet, perfect apple sauce, toppings, and of course the tea. Excellent, delicious, really recommended, top notch!

Baklava that is too sweet and soft, not how it should be. It is cozy though, with a unique atmosphere. But you go there for the pastries, and they are disappointing.

We went for iftar and everything was wonderful and delicious. The food was hot and tasty. Despite the iftar rush, the service was organized and smooth. Ms. Gulsen made us feel like we were visiting her at home rather than in a restaurant. She was smiling, attentive, and sincere. It was a very enjoyable iftar.

An excellent place to call your favorite restaurant. Casual ? Formal ? No problem. The staff are well equipped with more than just delicious meals but the warmest of hospitality to be ever asked for. We went for breakfast, and a blonde, grumpy waitress served us. I specifically asked if the simit (Turkish bagel) was fresh. She said it was. Unfortunately, it was microwave-heated and tasteless. We ordered honey and clotted cream, but it was a honey-like mixture of margarine. We couldn't eat it. The sigara böreği (cigarette-shaped pastry) was doughy inside. We couldn't eat it. For kuymak (a type of Turkish porridge), go to Simit Dünyası (another Turkish bagel shop). They don't even know how to make kuymak. I can't understand why people go here. I think the staff are underpaid. Why wouldn't customers be satisfied in a perfectly good shop? But you're managing to do it, congratulations. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Every time I'm in Amsterdam, I stop by – and that's mainly for the pistachio baklava. It's truly unparalleled: fresh, crunchy, and deliciously full of flavor. You can just taste the importance they place on quality and craftsmanship. The selection of Turkish sweets always looks beautiful and makes it hard to choose just one. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service is friendly, making it a pleasant stop every time. In short: for authentic pistachio baklava, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

I had the San Sebastian, and both it and the chocolate that came with it were delicious. There's also a pistachio dessert. I liked that too.

They've tried to replicate Turkey's traditional breakfast spread here. The breakfast was delicious and varied. Three of us couldn't finish the breakfast for two, and a lot of food went to waste.

I ordered trilice and pistachio sarma and instead I got baklava with walnuts which I'm allergic to it took also over 2 hours to be delivered when I asked for a refund or replacement they straight out refused..... if u run out of stock you should let the customer know for what you want instead or give the money back butt nope they just threw in something and don't care

We came for drinks and desserts. San Sebastian Dubai was really nice as well as the drinks. The dondurma was not good though. Overall good experience.

The customer service is terrible, these kind of places unfortunately close down because of the waiters and that's a shame. Otherwise the place has a great atmosphere but the waiters get very angry and bring incomplete orders and you have to remind them over and over again.

The atmosphere was okay, but something needs to be done with the ventilation. Furthermore, the prices are too high. For example, the cappucino was €4.75 and a normal Pickwick tea bag was €4.00, so a bit too much.

We went yesterday evening, this is my second visit. I love tirilice, I have eaten it in many places, I said they were good, you asked for it here, but that cake was not good at all, it was doughy and very hard, I couldn't even eat half of it, I left it, I was very sad.

We came for breakfast with 3 people and ordered the menu 3 times, but we could eat with 6, very extensive! Just a pity that the lady who served us only spoke Turkish. Otherwise fine 👍🏼

I bought a cheesecake and they gave me expired cheesecake and when I wanted to return it they did not accept it.

Four of us visited this cafe, including two children, but our experience was utterly disappointing. When we entered we were left waiting, clearly visible to the staff, but no one bothered to help us or show us a table. It was busy, which is understandable, but that is precisely why we expected some guidance. However, that failed to materialize completely. Finally we decided to leave, and even then the staff didn't seem to care at all. We have never experienced such a lack of customer service. Definitely not recommended.

I am almost a regular customer for their milk/cold baklawa. Really good. Today tried their breakfast. I felt really good. Good combination of dry fruits, eggs etc. Coffee and Turkish ter were impressive as well. My wife loved their lentil soup.

After entering we waited 15 minutes until someone came to serve us. The food was cold and dry, drinks and sauces were forgotten. Price-quality ratio is not right at all, staff needs to be trained, the broom has to be swept through. Pick up ready-made baklava and go, that's the only thing this business is good for.

It was late and we were very hungry. After walking past several closed bars we found this establishment. The pastries on display looked inviting and when we asked whether there was an option to order something without meat (2 vegetarians in the group), various dishes were mentioned, which of course would be meat-free. So let's get in, because there was just enough space left. During the ordering process, the waitress was unsure about portion sizes, but repeatedly emphasized how vegetarian the most expensive dish on the menu was and that there should be bread as a side dish. So we ordered the advertised dish along with a few others and a salad, which according to the menu was supposed to consist of tomatoes, cucumbers, red and green peppers with olive oil and parsley. Everything arrived very promptly and to our surprise the "vegetarian" dish consisted of a few dips (elsewhere these sauces are served on top of the kebab), two chicken nuggets, two cigara börek and a meatball. No bread... €22.90 even in Monaco that would be a disgrace 😀. Then to the salad: half a chopped tomato, 3 slices of cucumber and what felt like a whole raw onion were floating around in the water with a few oil stains... €5.90 for something like that?! We don't even want to talk about the portion size (approx. 200g). After the food was served there was no more communication. Questions to the staff like: "Where's my bread?" Were answered with a shrug of the shoulders, an absolute filth shop. However, there was a “sorry” at checkout while the money disappeared into the cash register

Ordered vegetarian food and got meat, salad instead of like on the menu with peppers, tomatoes, cucumber, parsley and olive oil only full of red onions and a few pieces of tomatoes and cucumber. Most expensive meal recommended instead of vegetarian as said with meat dip sauces but without bread after asking three times the condition said with bread but we didn't see any bread so without bread no dip left everything and when paying I was told because nothing vegetarian only a sory in response receive. Not recommended and never again

The service is very poor, almost no one speaks Dutch, you almost have to beg to place an order. The tables are dirty and are not cleaned on their own initiative. The food is of low quality. We got the drinks fifteen minutes after dinner. This is really not possible!

We would have liked to have dinner here, but were initially viewed with suspicion and then sent away - after we had been assigned a table. The restaurant was almost empty at this point. A strange process that was to be repeated twice more that evening. Never again.

Unfriendly staff where you have to ask several times to get what you ordered. When ordering, I indicated that I wanted Kunefe without pistachio due to allergies, this was no problem and would be fine. Kunefe came without pistachio on the top, initially after eating half I saw pistachio on the bottom, which turned out to be that they had already finished it and wiped the pistachio off and turned the kunefe over. This caused me to suffer from an allergic reaction. I indicated that I wanted to speak to the owner and the person who did this because it concerns an allergy and is life-threatening. After a long talk and discussion, the owner was supposed to come, but suddenly the owner was no longer there. VERY bad tent and unfriendly, I don't recommend it to everyone.

€6 for a bottle of water is absolutely crazy
