Come on, man, after repeating it several times, you're done with it. A €10 sandwich but so little chicken? Prices up and the amount of chicken down. First, the service was bad, now the food is too.

Ordered food, came almost a hour later than scheduled and was cold when it arrived. Was so cold and sweaty from being kept inside the container so long it was inedible. Couldn't eat it and had to get something else to eat. Absolutely useless

Hi, I regularly go to Konak restaurant, but unfortunately, the menu (the food) there has shrunk considerably in recent months. The portions have become very small. For example, the last time my family and I ordered a mixed meat and an Adana wrap, the Adana wrap was very thin and short, and the Adana ṣiṣ (the meat) in the wrap was also very thin!!! There was a lot of salad in the wrap; you could only taste the salad while eating. Unfortunately, there was also very little meat. But they keep raising the prices!! In short, you don't get your money's worth!!! I'm a regular there, and my friends are complaining about the same problems. I hope you take this seriously.

Yesterday I got a durum wrap, but it was very disappointing. There was almost no durum in it, only vegetables and a lot of lettuce. I definitely wouldn't recommend it!

I recently ate there and the chicken wings looked like they'd been cut off. They were very dry and very thin, almost no meat at all. I've never experienced this before because I'm a regular customer.

I don't think there is such bad service anywhere else, the food is very bad, zero service, and it's very expensive. It's a UNNECESSARY place to eat, not even one star can be given to this place.

What a fantastic place! Ordered food, it arrived incredibly quickly, unbelievable. The food was delicious, the rice was superbly prepared, and compliments on the freshly washed salad. You can taste the love and hygiene. This is why I'll be back and happy to order! Best regards!

The food was just cold after waiting almost 1:30! The quality and service have deteriorated with each order. Such a shame!

Just ordered dinner for €70!! It was delivered quickly and still warm. But then again, the salad was old and discolored, and why no green pepper on the meal like everywhere else? And why the 0.50 cent surcharge per portion and no cutlery? I didn't have to ask for it; it should be included as standard.

What a disappointment. Konak used to be one of the few places in Slotermeer where you could still eat affordably, but now the prices have gone up significantly while the quality has actually declined. We got a wrap with burnt chicken, a tough mixed meat, and three small shawarma sandwiches that cost €10.50 each, but were literally gone in one bite. No more Konak for me.

The food is delicious and the atmosphere is good. The service is also good, but it's overpriced compared to your average Turkish restaurant.

I understand that everyone has different tastes, and while many people seem to enjoy this Turkish restaurant, it wasn’t quite to my personal preference. The presentation was nice and the service was pleasant, but the flavors didn’t really suit my palate. That said, I can see how others might have a better experience. it just wasn’t the right fit for me.

The meat was burnt. The seasoning was terrible. The appetizers were inadequate, but the prices were still sky-high.

The food was super delicious! The pide and kofte were delicious, as was the rice.

The quality of the doner is not the same as before, unfortunately, when you eat minced meat doner, cartilage pieces come out, it is not worth €12, the quality of the old doner was very good.

What a crap tent, if you like to be scammed and to eat junk you are definitely in the right place. If you are Moroccan you will be helped as other Turks have been helped. Very shameless. Avoid this tent.!!

One of the decent environments you can visit in Amsterdam... The concept and service are top notch... Also, the staff is very friendly... Mr. Bülent made us feel at home... I recommend you definitely try the rice pudding...

Plates ordered not complete as ordered but the tast is here. Not fan of shoarma used as replacement for the döner. Team always available and friendly.

Had vandaag een grote shoarma zonder sla besteld. Thuis aangekomen zaten er toch stukjes sla in en halverwege het brood proefde ik sambal. Dus conclusie, ze verzamelen de gebruikte restjes van de borden en bakken die weer op om vervolgens door te verkopen. GA DAAR NIET ETEN

Very disappointing experience We came in and received no help at all in placing our order. While we were waiting, two young girls who came in after us were helped immediately. This felt not only unprofessional, but also disrespectful. We ended up leaving without ordering anything and won't be coming back here again!

Delicious. Good quality ingredients. Pizza, Pide and Sandwiches freshly made by the baker in the kitchen. Delicious sauces, and the best shawarma. Konak remains super tasty, and the price-quality ratio is great!

Very nice and fast service, even though we were late, we were able to have our iftar on time. The cubed pita with kashar cheese was very delicious 🤌🏼 I definitely recommend it.

What a terribly unpleasant place to come. I'm not someone who writes a lot of reviews. But if I do one, it really needs to be said. Host is very rude and unfriendly. The whole atmosphere there is completely wrong. As a restaurant owner, it would not matter what day it is, but would always provide good service to customers. When I made my reservation by phone, I got a lady on the phone who had no motivation or interest in customers at all. Then we get there. Very many employees, and few customers maybe 2 in total. Customers are spoken about in Turkish, and in front of the customer. In short, we never saw us there again.

I've eaten here a few times. Very tasty and friendly service. Their complimentary bread and garlic sauce is what keeps us coming back for. Toppers!

Very disappointing experience. I am very dissatisfied with the service at Konak Restaurant. Every time I was there it took way too long for my order to be brought. It often happened that I did not receive my order at once and always had to wait. What struck me most, however, is that not everyone was treated equally. If you speak Turkish, you will be helped much faster and you will feel like you are more welcome than other guests. This creates a very uncomfortable atmosphere. All in all I felt poorly treated and I won't be coming back here anytime soon. Certainly not a place where I feel valued as a customer. This review clearly states what you experienced, without being too aggressive, but making your point about unequal treatment and poor service.

I can't determine the atmosphere because I ordered it home, but oh how quickly it arrived. My order was delivered by someone from the restaurant within 20 minutes. The food was still nice and warm, salad was fresh and rice was not sticky. Fries were nice and hot and perfectly crispy. The chicken was tender and well seasoned. They were certainly not stingy with the sauces, I received 2 containers of sambal and 4 containers of garlic to go with the bread. All in all, a good place to quickly order something to eat on a Friday evening. Price-quality ratio is top.

meat dishes were not fresh, very chewwy, french fries for flacid. and there's no wine, or other alcoholic beverages that go with meat dishes. rather i will go to italian or greek restaurant next time.

We will never eat here again. Ordered 4 plates of shawarma with rice and shawarma with fries. You pay 20 euros per plate. Without bread! You get a quarter wrap slice on your dish. No bread? Come on, I really wanted to enjoy a day with everyone. But this was really a shame. If the owner wants to respond, he is welcome. Photos as proof are ready.

The place is easy to reach and its location is nice, although parking is a problem, you may be able to find a place. As for the food, we ordered Konak Special and cubed pita and pizza. Especially the plate, which was their special and had all the meat in the restaurant, was a complete disappointment. It was a dry rice pilaf laid on a board, with meatballs, Adana cutlets and shish chicken on it, but none of them were delicious. SERVICE came quite late.

Unfortunately, it was one of the worst and tasteless grilled dishes I have ever eaten. The sauce and visual appearance were very sloppy and insufficient. Even at home, a more careful sumum is made. The rice was scattered under the grill and it was dry. At least the peppers and tomatoes should have been roasted next to the grills and a careful presentation should have been made. There was no room next to the grill, only potatoes. and there was Adana. Also, the outside of some of the grills were burnt and the inside was not fully cooked. It is not a place I would choose again 😕

Been here for lunch. Wasn't very busy. Was helped quickly and nicely. Had a doner and adana kebab dish. Mix fries and rice. I actually didn't want salad, but I got it anyway. Served separately in a large salad bowl and was a lot. Basket of bread had 2 scoops. Large plate with half rice, quarter fries, lots of doner and adana. Was quite full of it. Fries were nice and crispy. Rice tasted a little less than I am normally used to from them, tasted like it was a day old. Adana was well seasoned. Doner was slightly less full of flavor and was also a bit bland/salty. 3 stars for the effort! Tip: try to deliver 100% quality and service every day. The service was good, but maybe that was because it wasn't busy?

Hele slechte behandeling, omdat je niet Turks bent bedienen ze je niet goed. Er gelden andere regels voor de Turkse mensen die daar komen eten dan niet Turkse mensen. Het eten was ook niet lekker. Pizza was van de Dirk van de broek. Geen vriendelijke mensen en zeer slechte bediening.

Le restaurant est très propre ! Les plats sont très bons et les serveurs sont gentils, de plus étant française, ils ont pris le temps de nous expliquer les plats. Je recommande !!

We ate doner but the doner doesnt has any relation with the doner we ate at another restaurant it doesnt has doner taste. We are upset with it and the price is too expensive for that doner i really dont recomend this place.

A nice Turkish restaurant on Turkish street in the Netherlands. I ate kebab over rice and doner kebab. It was a very delicious meal and came with plenty of scoops. The portion is very large and very filling. I advise. Some of our friends ate pita bread and they liked it very much.

There is a chef in the restaurant, I think he is the chef. Don't believe all the good comments, definitely bot comments or circles. We went before iftar and ordered and said we would eat before iftar. They brought the drink 30 minutes before, even though we said we wanted it with the meal, they told us "we bring it before iftar, we can't bring it during iftar." They made us wait 1.5 hours until iftar, put the food packaging on our table and made us do it. When you asked if we will do it, they said "you will do it exactly" :) It is a joke place, it has no appeal, the food made my stomach hurt, more than 5 couplets were missing, no sauce, no butter, no presentation. Nothing, lavash is not lavash, it opens when you insert a fork. I literally went crazy with the packaging issue. I'm not giving up my money.

I came here after looking at the reviews, thinking maybe it was good, but it's a pretty bad restaurant. We ate Iskender, they sent me doner kebabs on bread and we ate it cold and fasting. The trotter soup was like cream soup, it is very difficult to reach the waiters. If you asked for tea, wait, they couldn't bring it. Truly a 0 star restaurant.

Ordered Adana durum. Asked if I could get parsley and onion in my durum because it is traditionally eaten that way. I was told there was no onion. So I ended up getting adana without vegetables. Meat was okay, but the bread wasn't home made anyway. It was that sour bread that you could get at the Turkish supermarket. The advice is not to order adana. Service and atmosphere was just ok. Nothing special.

At the entrance you immediately noticed that something was wrong. Many vague people come there. The employees are also street types which gives a totally unsafe feeling. We arrived well on time and while eating they were complaining that they were closing. The closing time was wrong and they were literally chased away. Be careful, don't go there with your family. I have children myself and I wouldn't wish this on any child or parent having dinner with their family. They literally reserve Turkish pide bread that you can just get from the daily bakery. Turkish restaurant should have special Turkish shawarma bread and make reservations. When it comes to prices, they ask for jackpot prizes, but when it comes to real quality, you just get Turkish pide that you can get around the corner from a Turkish bakery.

Expensive Food take too long time. Manti was not great, even it is a speciality. It is literally just pasta and no meat inside.

I have been coming here as a regular customer for at least 6 years. Never before had such a delicious meal as at Konak. Shame about the new staff who come to the fore, making you feel completely unwelcome. I walked in today with my mother and son and asked if we could get a spot. Eten was ZALIG, erg van genoten. Eten duurde niet al te lang, de prijs kwaliteit verhouding was zeer goed. En de vrouwelijke serveerster bood ons zeer goede service en was erg sociaal. Al met al, aanrader!!!
