Restaurant Konak in Slotermeer-Noordoost

Unfortunately it was not a good experience. Food ordered after 30 minutes we are told that he has forgotten it. After 10 minutes later he arrives with the food. Unfortunately the food is raw and inedible. Paid almost 60 euros for 2 dishes and 2 drinks! No more konak for us!

I don't know what happened, but since the old owner left, this place has sunk completely to the bottom, prices have increased, closing times have changed from 1:00 AM to 11:30 PM and the food is no longer edible, even though I have been here all the time. half my life, it's a pity that this business has been sold, the previous owner had everything neatly in order, now this owner only wants to take money for free, I can tell you that you won't last much longer, before the business was always full, now that I walk past, no dog confess that prices are too bad shocking for what you get

We will never eat here at Konak Restaurant again. The service is very bad. All in all if you speak Turkish this is your place. They don't treat all customers the same. They ignore us.

Very disappointing experience. I am very dissatisfied with the service at Konak Restaurant. Every time I was there it took way too long for my order to be brought. It often happened that I did not receive my order at once and always had to wait. What struck me most, however, is that not everyone was treated equally. If you speak Turkish, you will be helped much faster and you will feel like you are more welcome than other guests. This creates a very uncomfortable atmosphere. All in all I felt poorly treated and I won't be coming back here anytime soon. Certainly not a place where I feel valued as a customer. This review clearly states what you experienced, without being too aggressive, but making your point about unequal treatment and poor service.

We got something different than what we ordered.

I can't determine the atmosphere because I ordered it home, but oh how quickly it arrived. My order was delivered by someone from the restaurant within 20 minutes. The food was still nice and warm, salad was fresh and rice was not sticky. Fries were nice and hot and perfectly crispy. The chicken was tender and well seasoned. They were certainly not stingy with the sauces, I received 2 containers of sambal and 4 containers of garlic to go with the bread. All in all, a good place to quickly order something to eat on a Friday evening. Price-quality ratio is top.

meat dishes were not fresh, very chewwy, french fries for flacid. and there's no wine, or other alcoholic beverages that go with meat dishes. rather i will go to italian or greek restaurant next time.

I went 4 times and ate different things all 4 times and I didn't like it. Really poor and bland food. We seriously wonder how they still continue to operate it.

We will never eat here again. Ordered 4 plates of shawarma with rice and shawarma with fries. You pay 20 euros per plate. Without bread! You get a quarter wrap slice on your dish. No bread? Come on, I really wanted to enjoy a day with everyone. But this was really a shame. If the owner wants to respond, he is welcome. Photos as proof are ready.

The place is easy to reach and its location is nice, although parking is a problem, you may be able to find a place. As for the food, we ordered Konak Special and cubed pita and pizza. Especially the plate, which was their special and had all the meat in the restaurant, was a complete disappointment. It was a dry rice pilaf laid on a board, with meatballs, Adana cutlets and shish chicken on it, but none of them were delicious. SERVICE came quite late.

Unfortunately, it was one of the worst and tasteless grilled dishes I have ever eaten. The sauce and visual appearance were very sloppy and insufficient. Even at home, a more careful sumum is made. The rice was scattered under the grill and it was dry. At least the peppers and tomatoes should have been roasted next to the grills and a careful presentation should have been made. There was no room next to the grill, only potatoes. and there was Adana. Also, the outside of some of the grills were burnt and the inside was not fully cooked. It is not a place I would choose again 😕

Been here for lunch. Wasn't very busy. Was helped quickly and nicely. Had a doner and adana kebab dish. Mix fries and rice. I actually didn't want salad, but I got it anyway. Served separately in a large salad bowl and was a lot. Basket of bread had 2 scoops. Large plate with half rice, quarter fries, lots of doner and adana. Was quite full of it. Fries were nice and crispy. Rice tasted a little less than I am normally used to from them, tasted like it was a day old. Adana was well seasoned. Doner was slightly less full of flavor and was also a bit bland/salty. 3 stars for the effort! Tip: try to deliver 100% quality and service every day. The service was good, but maybe that was because it wasn't busy?

Hele slechte behandeling, omdat je niet Turks bent bedienen ze je niet goed. Er gelden andere regels voor de Turkse mensen die daar komen eten dan niet Turkse mensen. Het eten was ook niet lekker. Pizza was van de Dirk van de broek. Geen vriendelijke mensen en zeer slechte bediening.

Le restaurant est très propre ! Les plats sont très bons et les serveurs sont gentils, de plus étant française, ils ont pris le temps de nous expliquer les plats. Je recommande !!

No Iskender food worth anything..... Chef certainly had extracurricular training...

We ate doner but the doner doesnt has any relation with the doner we ate at another restaurant it doesnt has doner taste. We are upset with it and the price is too expensive for that doner i really dont recomend this place.

A nice Turkish restaurant on Turkish street in the Netherlands. I ate kebab over rice and doner kebab. It was a very delicious meal and came with plenty of scoops. The portion is very large and very filling. I advise. Some of our friends ate pita bread and they liked it very much.

We ate Adana, iskender and soup. Unfortunately, the most delicious thing on the table was the salad. The employees were respectful and attentive, but the food was very bad.

There is a chef in the restaurant, I think he is the chef. He treated the customer as if he was giving food for their own benefit, we went in and asked him nicely, we don't have a reservation, do you have a seat, and he spoke to the head waiter curtly, asking if they should sit outside, is there room inside, what should we do, and we felt like unwanted people, he made us feel extremely stressed and unsafe. After these adverse attitudes, I was undecided whether to go out or not. It's like we came to eat for free. We ordered Iskender and it was ice cold. Also, they whispered the Iskender sauce and brought it like that, 0 sauce, 0 butter, that is, how many cents are how many, depending on the price you sell it for? And I think there should be a written rule. We ordered a fizzy drink and they bring it exactly 45 minutes before the meal. When I ask "Can you bring this with the meal? Don't believe all the good comments, definitely bot comments or circles. We went before iftar and ordered and said we would eat before iftar. They brought the drink 30 minutes before, even though we said we wanted it with the meal, they told us "we bring it before iftar, we can't bring it during iftar." They made us wait 1.5 hours until iftar, put the food packaging on our table and made us do it. When you asked if we will do it, they said "you will do it exactly" :) It is a joke place, it has no appeal, the food made my stomach hurt, more than 5 couplets were missing, no sauce, no butter, no presentation. Nothing, lavash is not lavash, it opens when you insert a fork. I literally went crazy with the packaging issue. I'm not giving up my money.

I came here after looking at the reviews, thinking maybe it was good, but it's a pretty bad restaurant. We ate Iskender, they sent me doner kebabs on bread and we ate it cold and fasting. The trotter soup was like cream soup, it is very difficult to reach the waiters. If you asked for tea, wait, they couldn't bring it. Truly a 0 star restaurant.

Ordered Adana durum. Asked if I could get parsley and onion in my durum because it is traditionally eaten that way. I was told there was no onion. So I ended up getting adana without vegetables. Meat was okay, but the bread wasn't home made anyway. It was that sour bread that you could get at the Turkish supermarket. The advice is not to order adana. Service and atmosphere was just ok. Nothing special.

At the entrance you immediately noticed that something was wrong. Many vague people come there. The employees are also street types which gives a totally unsafe feeling. We arrived well on time and while eating they were complaining that they were closing. The closing time was wrong and they were literally chased away. Be careful, don't go there with your family. I have children myself and I wouldn't wish this on any child or parent having dinner with their family. They literally reserve Turkish pide bread that you can just get from the daily bakery. Turkish restaurant should have special Turkish shawarma bread and make reservations. When it comes to prices, they ask for jackpot prizes, but when it comes to real quality, you just get Turkish pide that you can get around the corner from a Turkish bakery.

Expensive Food take too long time. Manti was not great, even it is a speciality. It is literally just pasta and no meat inside.

First, we were told that our orders were not entered into the system. Then our soups came, but the bread did not arrive, we asked for it and it came. The grills arrived right after the soup, the soup was ice cold by the time it was finished. We can say that the mixed grill plate is empty. Adana kebab, not Adana, but double ground minced meat. After ordering the grill, we waited for about 1 hour and the food arrived overcooked and dry.

A very lovely waiter was willing to translate the menu for us, and he was wonderful throughout. The food was delicious too.

I have been coming here as a regular customer for at least 6 years. Never before had such a delicious meal as at Konak. Shame about the new staff who come to the fore, making you feel completely unwelcome. I walked in today with my mother and son and asked if we could get a spot. I am told in short words: “closed” “wedding”, to which I actually didn't know what to answer. Immediately looked for another place to eat. Please do something about your staff Konak and specifically that new man who takes orders with a sour face.

Heerlijk restaurant met geweldige sfeer! De mix grill die ik had genomen was heel mals en de groenten🤤 Al met al raad ik dit restaurant erg aan! Ook hele goeie prijzen!!!

Eten was ZALIG, erg van genoten. Eten duurde niet al te lang, de prijs kwaliteit verhouding was zeer goed. En de vrouwelijke serveerster bood ons zeer goede service en was erg sociaal. Al met al, aanrader!!!

Ik heb op veel plekken in Amsterdam Turks eten gegeten, maar geen één plek heeft eten wat zo lekker is als hier. Ook was de service super goed en werd het eten snel op tafel gezet. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding was bovendien top en de porties waren erg vullende Zeer tevreden!

Erg gezellig en lekker restaurant! Het eten is goed bereid en lekker mals vlees. De service is super, de werknemers zijn vrolijk en altijd in voor een praatje. Overal super restaurant zeker aan te raden!!!

Wat ontzettend jammer. Ik kwam hier (hoewel niet vaak en onregelmatig) als vaste tevreden klant, al zeker 10 jaar (als het niet langer is). Ben pas weer sinds lange tijd gegaan. Wat n ontzettende degradatie heeft er plaatsgevonden. Het was lekker, maar het oog wil toch ook wat? Het leek wel detentievoedsel... Totaal geen presentatie! En wie verwacht nou letterlijk rijst en 2 spiezen Adana met een kwart wrap als je een Adana kebab besteld? Ongelooflijk. En daar dan ook nog eens de prijs voor ophogen. Qua interieur ook ver achteruit gegaan, ik vraag me af waarom want hun eerder vernieuwde interieur was erg mooi. Helaas voor mij de laatste keer dat ik ben gegaan. Hopelijk doen jullie wat met deze feedback.

Eten besteld van Konak, ik woon er 11 min van en heb 2 uur! Moeten wachten op mijn eten nadat het aankwam heb ik geen compensatie gekregen. Het eten was wel oké 7/10 maar wel helaas koud/lauw… vond het wel erg jammer dat het zo erg lang duurde.

Eh işte diyebileceğimiz bir kebapçı. Önden gelen ikram (salata ve soslar) güzel, ama kebaplar yavan. Yağsız et olması sağlıklı, tamam, ama o zaman da Adana olmuyor işte, lezzetsiz bir et oluyor. Kuzu şiş de öyleydi. Pilav da lezzetsizdi. Sonuç olarak karnımız doydu ama ne güzel kebaptı demedik, üçümüz de eh işte dedik. 3 kebap 3 içecek 68 Euro. Yolunuz o tarafa düşerse ve açsanız belki denenebilir, ama kebap yemek için illa ki gidilebilecek bir yer değil, biz tekrar gitmeyiz muhtemelen. Artı tarafları: Temiz, çok seçenekli menü (gerçi bu artı mı emin olamadım, bazen az ama öz olması daha iyi oluyor), önden gelen salata ve üzerine çay ikram, patates kızartması güzel. Eksi tarafları: Servis yavaş, kebaplar tatsız. Bonus bilgi: Koltuklu masalara oturmayın, masa yüksekte kalıyor rahat yenmiyor. Sandalyeli masaları tercih edin.

Great flavors and choices. We enjoyed our plates. Nice to sit in their covered terrace. You can also sit inside. Price reasonable. Service ok. Comfortable for a long lunch sessions. The dessert was good. Location good easy access from the main street.

Heerlijk broodje döner. Tzatziki heerlijk. Meegenomen naar huis.

Zag er netjes en schoon uit. Bediening was goed. Maar helaas was het eten onder de maat. Sis kebap doorbakken en droog. Köfte ızgara droog doorbakken Shoarma was zo fijn gesneden dat het gemalen vlees leek. En daarnaast vond de shoarma kruiden niet lekker. Kortom zonde van de vlees.

Super fijn restaurant vooral als je met een grote groep gaat. Heerlijke gerechten en top service.

Vandaag wezen eten met een vriend en alles was prima. Eten kwam op tijd en was goed doorbakken. Service was ook prima. Heel anders dan een week geleden toen we heel lang op ons eten moesten wachten. Het was dan ook veel drukker dan vandaag. Vriendelijk personeel.

Wij komen heel vaak met ons gezin naar Konak , de mixgrill is mijn anraader. Ook komen we er vaak met grote groepen en word je supersnel en strak gediend. Je hebt extra ruimtes voor meer privacy. De desserts zijn ook altijd super vers net als hun thee!

Buiten zitplaatsen zijn onvoldoende verwarmd en binnen zijn vaak vol.

Wij zijn al jaren klant bij Konak. Vroeger was het echt top eten. Het eten zelf is nog altijd lekker. Maar door corona en nu met inflatie hebben ze wel even doorgepakt met het verhogen van de prijzen. Scholtels die voor € 13 werden verkocht kosten je nu € 22, ook goed. Maar het personeel? Dat is echt verschrikkelijk slecht en met elk bezoek wordt het slechter. Je moet je als klant zowat verontschuldigen omdat je een verzoekje hebt aan tafel. Je kan geen oogcontact leggen om iets te vragen. Beloftes van ik kom zo bij u, moet je vergeten dat ze komen. Wilt u çay? Kun je gerust nog twee keer vragen en wordt niet bezorgd. En dat terwijl je ook niets eens boven kunt zitten wegens gebrek aan personeel.. We reden er vanuit Utrecht speciaal ernaar toe. Voor ons is het klaar met Konak. Zo jammer. Nog even en jullie kunnen de handdoek in de ring gooien jongens.
