We had a delicious meal here at the beginning of August 2025 with two adults and two children. There was a children's menu with a few dishes for the children, and fresh fish dishes for us adults that were beautifully prepared and delicious. The desserts were also delicious. All of this in an idyllic, cozy setting. I would particularly like to highlight the young staff, who were very attentive and accommodating. It was a wonderful and successful evening for us. Highly recommended!

Everything was great. The food was delicious, well-prepared, and quickly prepared. 4 stars because side dishes were ordered separately, which are for two people. That's a real cost driver given the higher prices. A big plus is the children's menu, which is presented as a coloring page. Our children especially enjoyed this and it was very useful. Another plus point is the option to order gluten-free dishes!

Delicious food, a very pleasant balance of flavors. Not the most creative, but safe dishes on the menu, which is of course very responsible for such a touristy spot. Good and very fast service! Two minor points to note: 1: the tables on the terrace could be a bit cleaner. 2: if someone dines alone, there could be a less surprised reaction.

A fantastic atmosphere, friendly, and dedicated staff, delicious food, a good menu (nice names for the dishes), a neat shop (where I secretly really enjoyed the hidden humor), and a great spot for kids where they transform simple dishes into something surprising for them. In short: worth a visit if you're on Ameland.

We had a lovely lunch here this afternoon. It's a nice place, and we were able to sit comfortably on the terrace.

Ambience is nice, service is ok, but we ate quiche with spinach and that was reheated catering frozen. Goat cheese did not get further than some chunks from the stock. Dessert did not get further with a scoop of ice cream with a few scoops of confetti goodies.

It's quite nice here! The prices are typically high for Ameland, so neither expensive nor cheap here. The service is good, the ambiance is perfect, it's a great place. Would I go here again? Yes, it wasn't our first time here and we will come again.

During our holiday on Ameland we ate at Tante An twice. Both times we had an excellent meal. Especially the cod, bavette and the desserts were very successful. Smooth and informal service. If I have to mention a negative point, it is that some chairs are very bad, making a full evening dinner a challenge.

Had a lovely meal tonight with 2 people, the dog was also welcome. Sat outside on the terrace, chairs where you can sit all evening. Staff is very friendly

The restaurant/café is well located, and the outdoor seating is very comfortable. The service is perfect. However, the prices for all food and drinks are very high.

Had a great meal during our weekend walk around Ameland. But the prices in the catering industry are enormous. Will that ever end? Beer 6 euros?

Good food, nice atmosphere, very unfriendly service (same person last year and this year - given the high prices, you can probably afford to do without guests here), lunch and dinner menus are not binding: So, if you have looked at the menu in advance, this does not mean that this dish is actually available.

Exceptional food and drinks, and very attentive service. Everything was top-notch!

SUPER child-friendly! For every little child a bowl with fun toys. And super much delicious GLUTEN-FREE food. All in all we felt very welcome and ate pleasantly.

For me, Tante A'n is the place to go in Hollum for a lunchtime snack, coffee, cake, and smoothies. The mustard soup is delicious, although I prefer it with crispy fried bacon like a Mettwurst. The iced coffee is incredibly delicious and addictive. We had the Berry Bomb smoothie and also an apple and cheesecake. You can't go wrong ordering anything here. The staff is friendly and always has a smile on their faces. We will definitely come back, like every year.

We were well received here. The service is professional and also up for a laugh. Overall there is a very relaxed atmosphere. In addition, the food was very tasty, the best I have had on Ameland! We paid about 65 per person for a starter, main course and dessert with some drinks. If I ever go to Ameland again I will definitely come back!

Nice place. Bread with mackerel was very tasty, pickled cucumbers were excellent. Apple as a refreshing element. Unusually fresh and delicate for Dutch cuisine.

The best place we ate on Ameland. At Eeterij Aunt An in Hollum there is a cozy atmosphere, friendly service and you can also enjoy delicious fresh food. We had sea bass and pasta with shrimps as main course. There are also nice names on the menu and you will find out who Aunt An was. It is also child-friendly. Our girls received a beautiful drawing and a smoothie with the main course, nice that extra attention was paid to that.

We have eaten in this great restaurant several times and are always thrilled by the fantastic food, the great atmosphere and the friendly service. Whether it's a starter, main course or dessert, the food is lovingly and creatively prepared and tastes excellent. A visit to “Aunt A’n” is definitely a must!

So delicious! We ate there two days in a row because it tasted so fantastic! I don't actually like fish, but I ordered the sea bass anyway and it was so delicious, crispy fried with skin and a delicious Thai sauce, only the seaweed salad was too fishy for me. My friend had the duck, which was also tasty, but a bit small portion. Be sure to have the fries with truffle mayo and parmesan as a side dish 👍🤤🤤🤤 The next day I ate the pollock in a curry, with rice (and the aforementioned truffle mayo fries), which was also incredibly good! The mustard soup is also recommended, I wasn't impressed with the tiramisu. Service very attentive and friendly, clean toilets and nicely decorated. Absolute recommendation if you are in Hollum and want to treat yourself 😊 In terms of price, it is rather expensive at around €50 per person including drinks and a starter or dessert.

2 bottles of Ameland tripel for €15.60 is very expensive.

Very friendly service and an excellent cappuccino! The best on Ameland. The building is cozy and modern but retains its old charm, very lovingly decorated.

We ate at Tante A'n a few times last summer. It was delicious🥰. Everything was just right: the size of the portions, the preparation, the flavors and the plates were beautifully presented. The ladies serving were very friendly and pleasant and knew exactly which ingredients were used in the dishes. Next time we are on Ameland, we will definitely eat here again. Highly recommended!

Right in the center of Hollum, the staff are all incredibly friendly and attentive. The lunch menu (until 4:30 p.m.) is varied and the dishes are delicious.

Enjoyed Christmas dinner here. Pleasant atmosphere, delicious tastings and the staff is eager to provide you with a pleasant evening. Recommended!

Aunt A'n is the place to be in Hollum! Yes, it's almost always busy here, but that makes sense – quality attracts people! The atmosphere is cozy, the service friendly, and the terrace is the perfect spot to view the vibrant life of the center. Enjoy yourself and people watch, that's what you're here for. An absolute must if you are ever in Hollum!

If you go to Ameland you should eat a hot chicken sandwich here. The atmosphere here is cozy and the service is nice and fast.

After many years, we spent a lovely evening with friends. The food was very tasty, served hot and served at the same time for 16 people! served. Here you can get the best dirty chai latte and the best apple pie on Ameland. 😋😋😋 Very friendly service, very cozy atmosphere. Perfect after a long and stormy walk by the sea. 🌬️ Update September 2023: Unfortunately, Aunt An is no longer what it used to be. A massive price increase is offset by a significantly reduced menu with only average food quality and no sophistication. Unfortunately, the vegetarian Thai noodles were absolutely not convincing for this price level. My original comment from 2019: cozy atmosphere, very friendly service and a very nice “high tea” ceremony.

Ate here for the second time and it was delicious again. We had the duck breast, salmon tortillas, children's satay and poffertjes and we all enjoyed them deliciously. The atmosphere is very good, nicely decorated and very friendly staff who also enjoy working with children. Highly recommended to eat here. From now on, this will be our permanent address when we are on Ameland.

In the first week, I found the portion still acceptable, In the second week they already served three people with the size of two pieces of cake, my comment was ignored.... Of course we had to pay for the very very small 1 piece that was specially ordered 🍰. We will never eat anything there again... it's a shame... the apple pie was delicious... but way too expensive for the portion. The name seems a bit old-fashioned. If you manage to look past this you will see a very nice tent. Upon entering you are immediately struck by the smell of good fresh coffee. The toilet alone is worth it. We came here on our last day of holiday, which is a shame we didn't find this earlier. Maybe better, otherwise we would have been here every day.
