Fast service, really top-notch service.

The restaurant exudes a warm, pleasant atmosphere in every detail. We found the red snapper to be of excellent quality, taste, and presentation. Fortunately, it wasn't swimming in sauce. The service was attentive, helpful, and friendly. In short, a very lovely evening!

We had a nice meal with the four of us. Friendly staff and a pleasantly decorated restaurant. Taking orders was a bit chaotic, but it was resolved properly. It was also busy. It is a pity that we were no longer offered coffee/tea after dessert and that they started clearing up. Because of that, we didn't feel as welcome anymore and ended up having coffee somewhere else.

What stands out immediately are the motivated staff: friendly, professional, and fast. Everything runs like a well-instructed machine. The food (because that is what it is all about) is great, tasty, and the portions are good. We had a pleasant evening there and enjoyed a delicious meal; we will definitely come back here.

Delicious food and super friendly staff!

We have been coming here for years and it is always just as pleasant. The staff are all very friendly and the very tasty dishes are served on beautifully presented plates. The restaurant is very cozy inside, partly due to the fireplace, and has a large terrace outside where it is lovely to spend time both during the day and in the evening. Even though it is not located on the main street, a lot of people already know how to find this restaurant, so we always make a reservation to be sure of a spot at our favorite restaurant.

We had a fantastic evening on the terrace. Delicious food, the chefs know what they are doing. Every element on your plate adds something. I had the celeriac and it was amazing. My friend also thought the duck breast was good. Very friendly service, they arrive on time and also leave you alone where desired. This place is highly recommended!

I had made a reservation online, and when we arrived, there was a table for us inside the restaurant, even though it was a summer day and you don't usually sit indoors. You have your guests reserve outside, and if they prefer to sit inside, that is always possible. After all, that is where people who hadn't reserved were assigned. Or a spot right in the sun. And I’m not going to sit there with my parents, who are over 80. So we went to another restaurant and sat on a terrace; we were warmly welcomed there and had a delicious meal. It’s a shame it wasn't like that here; we had really been looking forward to it.

Highly recommended for people with allergies. The staff is well-informed about what is and isn't allowed. They take everything into account and are genuinely friendly. The food was truly delicious, and we savored the experience for a long time.

Great restaurant in Nes on Ameland, right in the village yet pleasantly situated on the edge. The atmosphere is very cozy and inviting. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. We especially recommend the spare ribs: absolutely top-notch! Regional beer specialties are also available. The dog-friendliness deserves top marks; you truly feel welcome with your four-legged friend. We'll definitely be back!

Good restaurant in the center of Nes, beautiful spacious terrace with both sun and shade, prompt service and good cuisine with a changing menu. Inside the restaurant in the old Ameland cottage, time has stood still; spacious tables, cozy interior and fireplace.

We came for a cup of coffee in the evening. It was pleasantly busy and the atmosphere was good. And the coffee too! The service was friendly and we were served quickly.

After a delicious lunch with a lovely glass of rosé, we returned the next evening for the cod fillet and sea bass. Excellent! Just like the dessert. We went back the next day for the duck breast fillet and surf and turf. Delicious again and at a very reasonable price. We'll definitely be back soon.

Our expectations were high, but we were disappointed. We were seated near the door, which kept opening and not immediately closed. With a wind force 4 near freezing, this was very unpleasant. My steak wasn't good, and I was given a new one. The waiter, somewhat irritated, told me there were 40 people ahead of me, so I had to eat alone. In the end, the new steak was much better, but still not what you'd expect from a steakhouse.

A lovely, atmospheric location; we ate there on Christmas Day. It was busy, and the kitchen wasn't quite up to par, so everyone had to wait (too) long, and the quality probably wasn't up to par.

After mudflat hiking, we often hang out here with the guides. They're flexible, and the meal is always excellent. Since I'm here for Art Month, I'd like to try something different than a plate. The catch of the day was delicious with the risotto. My vegetarian partner was also very happy with her strudel. In short, a great place for a good meal.
