We had such a great experience here! The tapas were delicious, the atmosphere was really nice, and the service made the evening even better. A special mention to Arys, our waiter, who was incredibly friendly, attentive and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. He gave us great recommendations and was always there when we needed anything without being intrusive. Definitely one of the highlights of our time in Amsterdam. Highly recommended!

The paella was delicious and had a great flavor; however, I think they could significantly improve the presentation. We also ordered a Spanish omelet, and unfortunately, we didn't like it. It was clear it wasn't freshly made, but rather seemed to have been frozen and simply reheated, which greatly affected both its texture and flavor.

What a hidden gem! I absolutely love this place. I visit Amsterdam every now and then, and I first came to this restaurant more than 9 years ago. Since then, I simply cannot come to Amsterdam without coming back here. I’ve been to Spain many times and I absolutely love Spanish food, but the food at this place is different. Somehow, they take Spanish food to another level. Literally, another level! During my latest visit, I was staying in Amsterdam for only 3 days, and I had to come here TWICE. And believe me, that says a lot! I’m a foodie, and normally I want to explore and eat somewhere different every day. I almost never visit the same restaurant twice during the same trip — it’s kind of against my principles 😂. There are always too many places I want to try! But with this restaurant, I broke my own rule. Twice in a 3-day trip. And both times did not disappoint. I honestly don’t know where to start describing the food because everything is just too good. But if I have to choose, the all-time winners are the Gambas Pil Pil — the simple one with olive oil and garlic. And here’s the important part: ask them if they can make it spicy! It takes the gambas to completely different heights. And then comes the seafood paella… WOW! This is the star of the show. The flavour, the seafood, the rice, everything together… just incredible. Every time I come back, this is the dish I cannot leave without having. There is also something slightly Mediterranean/North African in the character of the food. The chef is originally from Morocco, and somehow you can feel that influence without taking away from the Spanish soul of the dishes. Maybe that is part of what makes the food here so different and so special. The restaurant itself has such a cozy, authentic atmosphere, and the whole experience feels much more special than going to one of the typical touristy places in Amsterdam. You can genuinely feel the care and passion behind the food. Definitely one of the best meals you will have in Amsterdam. And the services, top notch, without a doubt made the vibe extra special. And Michelin Guide… you are seriously missing something here. This place deserves your attention! Highly, highly recommended. I already know that the next time I’m in Amsterdam, I’ll be back. ❤️

Paella so good it’s still living in my head 3 weeks later 😫 I can’t express how wild it is that the best Spanish food I’ve ever come across wasn’t in Spain, it was here!! We also ordered the Pincho de Pollo and the Gambas Pil Pil, and suffice to say we scarfed everything down so fast you’d think the plates came out of the box brand new. And even during peak season, when the place was slammed to the brim, Luciano took care of us like we were the only table in the room. Just the best!!

Every time i’m coming to Amsterdam i need to visit this restaurant at least 3 times to eat there paella it’s amazing better then spain, they have other dishes amazing too, but the paella is the top list

The food was certainly tasty. Except for the lamb chops, which we found far too fatty and lacking in flavor. The two gentlemen serving were not really friendly, a bit surly, which is a shame. On the other hand, there was one young man, I think his name is Daniël, who was incredibly customer-friendly, cheerful, and good at his job; certainly a good example for the hospitality industry—it still exists. So he made the evening complete with his enthusiasm.

The staff were very friendly, particularly Arys. His dish recommendations were amazing. This Spanish guy knows about the food. We had a great time in the restaurant.

Overpriced bland tasteless food. Horrific ingredients, they gave us cheap Chinese sweet sour sauce as a side to croquettes, the chicken skewer was just covered in bland terrible peanut sauce.

Tapas and sangria were excellent, especially the boquerones and gambas pil pil. Prices a bit high, especially for the drinks.

My review is a bit harsh, but I feel the overall rating is far too high. The tapas are good and so is the service. On the other hand, the prices are indecent—€20 for 2 tiny chicken skewers is not OK at all.

Beautiful meal with the family. Loved everything we tried. We were served by Daniel and Luciano and felt very well taken care of. The sangria was delicious. Definitely recommend the meatballs, bread with tomatoes, and churros with chocolate. Would absolutely come again.

There is a certain aire of arrogance you may experience here. Walk up is fine, but you will be made to feel inferior and sat on the outside edge. The food was great, atmosphere is fantastic. Prices are higher than surrounding spots, but that feeling like your beneath their service level.... not cool.

Delicious food and relaxing atmosphere. Attentive service, tasty tapas, and generous portions of sangria! The Pimientos de Padron were perfectly roasted and seasoned, and the Calemares Fritos were fresh with good texture. Sardines, croquets, and pan con tomato were excellent as well. Would return again!

We spontaneously looked for a nice place to eat. It's in a really great and quiet location. The staff is quick and very friendly. We had a mixed platter with prawns and pan di aioli. Warm toasted bread – it was fantastic! We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back.
