What a hidden gem in Amsterdam!! From the food to the service, everything was amazing. Great flavors, great drinks, a sunny terrace, and kind people who greet you with a smile. Would recommend to everyone to try this place!

We had a fantastic evening at Mamas & Tapas! We had a delicious meal with a group of 11 girls. The chef had put together a surprise menu, and besides the food being very good, the staff also created a wonderful atmosphere. We were given delicious limoncello on the house, and my sister, who is getting married, also received a bottle of bubbly. In short, delicious food, a great atmosphere, and the staff is top-notch. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy good food in a nice spot in Amsterdam.

We went there for dinner with our toddler twins, and what can I say? It was simply outstanding! The service was consistently friendly, and we never felt that the children were inconvenient in the slightest. On the contrary, we felt very welcome! The staff was attentive and friendly, interacted with the children, and often picked up their spoons faster than we did. The food was truly excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect for a tapas bar. It was busy, but not hectic. Our children, under two years old, were able to eat (almost) everything and did. The bill was correspondingly high, but absolutely justified by the quality. Of course, you know that before you go for tapas. We will definitely be back!

Tapas that are charged as if they were more than half portions... a glass of Sangria also paid handsomely for a quantity of product less than a glass of wine, the aubergines and courgettes baked in the earthenware dish taste good but decidedly raw... a tourist trap.

This place is electric - the food, the service, the selection of wines. Top notch. If you like Spanish-style tapas, then this is the place to go. Their menu is quite extensive and literally everything our family of four tried was outstanding. The Jamon iberico, pan con tomate, champinones, tortilla de mamas, patatas, berenjena y calabacin, verduras a la plancha, pincho de ternera, costilles de res, albondigas, and all the desserts. Also try the wines by the glass - they are good and very reasonably priced. Make a reservation. This place is busy.

My second visit en it is even more enjoyable this time, have not enjoyed Spanish food in such a way since a long time.. food taste is beyond delicious, every single dish was an unique experience by itself.. all tasting puds were enjoying great food with beautiful presentation en aromatic smells.. service is unique en make u enjoy even food more meanwhile the place is full with positive vibes en energy. Delicious food! Nice atmosphere

First of all, the staff is amazing and friendly. Continently helpful for our quick drink and snack. We selected the IPA from the waiter’s recommendation that it’s his favorite. We also order d the calamari con plancha which we both agreed was the best we’ve ever had.

I’ve spent a lot of time in Spain and honestly never loved any of the tapas that I had. I was tentative to try but the food was amazing! We got the pan con tomate, the daily fish, beef skewer, goat cheese vegetables, Greek salad and the basque cheesecake. It was all very good. Memorable meal and would highly recommend!

The restaurant is located at a roundabout with several other restaurants. It's easily recognizable by its red accents. We noticed it, asked for a table, and were very politely shown to our table. Everyone who served us was very friendly and attentive. We were offered complimentary bread to start, and the food was delicious. There was a variety of tapas, including vegetarian, fish, and meat options. The dessert was also excellent, and we were even offered a shot of schnapps to finish. The only downside was that it wasn't completely quiet due to the traffic noise, although it wasn't very loud. It certainly wasn't bothersome.

We went on the recommendation of the Gemini AI. There were two of us. The place was PACKED (they were celebrating the king's birthday). Although we didn't have a reservation, they gave us a table and, to make us more comfortable, offered us a table for four. The service from all the waitresses was excellent. My favorite dinner in Amsterdam! Our family of 6, 4 kids ages 8-16, dined here one evening with an early reservation. Phenomenal atmosphere with the patio and the sun and the cozy indoors. Kids played it safe with skewers and sausage but the grilled calamari and the Spanish omelet were to die for. Top it off with sangria de cava and very friendly service, and I was a very full and happy person!

There was so much variety that everyone at the table could enjoy. Staff were super helpful and friendly and couldn't recommend it enough. I had a really great experience at Mamas and Tapas and would definitely recommend it! We didn’t have a reservation and arrived on a busy Friday evening when the place was completely full, but the staff were kind enough to still find us a spot at the bar. That already said a lot about their hospitality and willingness to accommodate guests. The food that came out was absolutely delicious.Everything was so good that we ended up eating it all! Each dish was full of flavor and clearly made with care.

We grabbed dinner at Mamas & Tapas tonight and we absolutely loved it. Between the two of us, we go 5 tapas and felt like it was the perfect amount to still leave room for dessert. We enjoyed everything we had and don’t feel we could have gone wrong with anything we ordered. We got the mixed cheese board, cheese and spinach croquettes, beef short rib, dates wrapped in bacon, and grilled octopus for dinner and then for dessert we got the tiramisu and the dessert of the day which was a date cake with almonds and a brown butter sauce. Aside from the food being delicious, the service and staff were incredible. They were all so kind and offered us things on the house multiple times. We’d definitely recommend!

We called to make a booking for 8 and it was busy but they accommodated us outdoors. We were worried that it was going to be too cold but the heaters and blankets were perfect. Food was great, service was the best I can remember anywhere. Couldn't recommend it enough.

The people who work here are incredibly kind and caring. We signed our civil partnership agreement today and celebrated it in a small way that evening. We received flowers, which they happily kept in water for us until we left. When we said goodbye, they asked if anyone was celebrating a birthday. When we told them what we were celebrating, they even gave us a bottle of cava at the last minute. So incredibly sweet – I've never experienced anything like that before. This has definitely become a regular spot for us.

We came here to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday and I added a small note to the reservation asking if it might be possible to do something simple, like a candle. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was cozy with everyone enjoying their meals. The food was delicious and, for Amsterdam, very reasonably priced. Nothing was mentioned about the birthday during dinner, which was completely fine. But just as we were about to leave, a waitress came up and asked if we were ready for the surprise. They surprised my girlfriend and even had the whole restaurant sing happy birthday. She was totally shocked and it was such a sweet moment. It really made our evening. The team went out of their way to remember my note and create something special. Great service, great food, and absolutely worth a visit.

Lovely place! In general, the service was very kind with us and we had a nice dinner (a good variety of food and plenty of vegetarian options.) But to be honest, the restaurant doesn't feel 100% Spanish, is more like an imitation of Spanish cuisine than a truly Spanish one. Still good and tasty but not authentic.

Having an unplanned dinner on a drizzly Monday in Amsterdam is no easy feat. The staff creatively found us a spot at the bar. The staff is excellent, cheerful, and attentive. The location is atmospheric and informal, but the food is actually secondary. The paella and beef cheek were standouts; the albondigas were nothing special. It wasn't our first time, and certainly not our last.

And delicious food: we tried almost all the tapas, and it was truly delicious. And then there's the attentive and friendly service. They create a homey atmosphere that makes you feel truly welcome. And of course, it was lovely that everyone started singing when the music started playing "Happy Birthday" and the dessert with sparklers arrived. You'll definitely want to come back here again.
