We had a delicious meal yesterday. What a cozy restaurant and lovely service. Definitely recommended!

It was simply delicious. Every dish was equally delicious and worth repeating.

Nice little dishes, but then several 3, 4, or 5 for lunch. You can try everything. It was delicious.

This location is a bit darker and atmospheric, but I had trouble reading the menu. We were quickly given a portable table lamp (battery-powered) that matched the cutlery (bronze-gold), and the staff themselves noticed we needed a light. The dishes arrive fairly quickly, and you end up spending quite a while there, because time flies.

I've eaten at 't Zusje three times now, and I'm still raving about it. All the dishes on the menu are delicious, except for the apple pie, which I don't particularly like, and I'm a real dessert fanatic. It's nice that you can choose two dishes per course, and as many as you like. If you want fewer than five courses, you pay less. The only downside is that everyone at your table has to pay the same amount for each course. Last night, I was at a table with four other colleagues. Three of them were full after three courses, and two would have liked another. You don't do that because you're making others pay for something they didn't order. I understand that otherwise, 't Zusje can't monitor how much people eat, and it's open to cheating. But hey, we didn't go home hungry anyway 🤣. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is friendly. In the summer, when the weather is nice, you can sit on the terrace by the water. I recommend this location.

Always had great experiences, except for the last time. After my last visit, I got food poisoning. Annoying, it happens, but no big deal. I politely informed the restaurant, as I think that's the right thing to do, and then they told me: "We use fresh produce, your table companions weren't sick, so it's not our fault." How annoying, madam? Are you feeling better? Absolutely no sympathy whatsoever. It's a shame I had this experience. I did have a great evening and a good meal, so that wasn't the problem, but the treatment afterward wasn't very kind.

I was disappointed. We were seated at a table near the stairs. Not a very pleasant spot. We had made a reservation, which is essential. The food was mediocre, unfortunately. The staff was very friendly.

Only had a drink, nice staff, but it was a real rip-off to charge 5 euros for 750ml of tap water when everyone else also ordered a drink

Wonderful lunch spot in Amsterdam Zuid Had a lovely lunch at ’t Zusje in Amsterdam. Friendly staff, a modern and cozy interior, and tasty dishes. The sharing/tapas-style menu is great for trying a variety of plates, and there’s also an à la carte option if you prefer one dish. Prices are reasonable too. The restaurant is tucked away behind Gelderlandplein in a peaceful, green area with plenty of parking. Beautiful bar and a lovely garden terrace for summer. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely return!

't Zusje Amsterdam is situated in a fantastic location. You walk into Gijsbrecht van Aemstelpark, lined with beautiful, tall deciduous trees, and then you see the restaurant 't Zusje, bathed in 1,000 twinkling lights. It's a fairytale-like setting with a huge terrace by the water—so beautiful. The restaurant itself exudes a wonderful atmosphere, with all sorts of tables, from high to low, seating 2 to 10 people, velvet sofas, candles, chandeliers, flowers, plants, and a bar in the middle of the restaurant. It's buzzing with conversation and conviviality. You see people of all ages, couples, groups, friends, and businesspeople. The tapas food is varied and generous, and while it might not be haute cuisine, it's a wonderfully convivial evening. The staff is excellent; they're everywhere, sweet, attentive, and caring. There aren't many parking spaces, but we found one, and it was very affordable at €2.80 per hour. After 7:00 PM, parking is free.

Truly our favorite restaurant; the kids, ages 10 and 7, love it when we go. So delicious, so much choice, and especially the desserts to finish off the meal.

The last time we were in Amsterdam, we had a bad experience. We were sitting in the middle of everyone else's path, and there was a big party going on. It was terrible then. This time, we went upstairs, and the waitress recognized us and asked about our experience. When she heard that, she took us to a beautiful, quiet place. We received a lot of attention from her and were completely pampered. Our grandson, who was with us, had a wonderful birthday celebration with his grandparents. The food was delicious. Thanks, Zusje!

Nice restaurant and delicious food

I've been coming to this sister restaurant almost since its inception. So I'm familiar with the concept. I was absolutely shocked when I got the bill, because suddenly I was charged €42 for 6 small dishes, while 5 dishes cost €22. When I inquired, it turned out you either order in rounds, in which case you pay for Burgundian enjoyment (where you can order as much as you want), or you order 3, 4, or 5 dishes at once—your appetizers, main courses, and dessert all at once. This way, everything can be nice and cold. We weren't told beforehand that the concept had changed. Otherwise, we might have made a different choice, or even eaten somewhere else. Frankly, I don't think this new concept is very fair. If you're not hungry, you're forced to order everything at once, or you end up paying a fortune for a few small bites. I feel ripped off, even though I love coming here. I'll think twice before eating there again. Hopefully, they'll roll back to the old system, which was much clearer and more customer-friendly. Too bad, guys, it was such a nice idea, but not anymore. I didn't feel the need to tip anymore, so the staff is bearing the brunt of this.

We had a wonderful meal at Zusje, and the staff were so friendly! The small snacks were lovely, something for everyone. Plenty of vegetarian options too. And the desserts are truly delicious! Highly recommended!

The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was good. Some of the appetizers were of somewhat poor quality, and the meat dishes, in particular, were very (too) salty.

Very tasty, but I still find it expensive compared to other tapas places. And paid parking, which is a bit odd in this remote location. A parking permit if you eat here would be nice.

2 people are sick so something is going wrong.

We had a wonderful time. It was all delicious.

Staff were super rude and they keep pushing us that we need to pay 40euro per person even though we were 7 adults and one kid without telling us before hand. So we had to move 7 people to another place. Staff were VERY RUDE and the only thing they cared was their profit their going to make for that table over night and gave 0 effort for their costumer behaviour. I can say the worst restaurant I've ever been to!

We had a delicious meal. The small dishes are excellent, and there's a very wide selection. There are also many vegetarian options! The staff is exceptionally friendly and pleasant.

The food was tasteless and dry, unfortunately. It took a long time to get your dishes, and it wasn't worth the money. You pay way too much for what you get. Sadly, I won't be back.

Beyond Disappointing. Our visit was a complete letdown from start to finish. The wait between rounds averaged 30 minutes, and out of six rounds, we only received exactly what we ordered once. All other rounds, at least one or two dishes were missing, and some were replaced with whatever the kitchen felt like sending. Promises from the waitstaff to bring the correct dishes “right away” were never fulfilled. We ordered crème brûlée twice, and only after asking a third time were we told they’d run out. The food itself was average at best, portions were tiny, and the long waits made the whole experience even more frustrating. To top it off, the bill included three drinks we never ordered. Terrible service, mediocre food, and endless delays. Absolutely not worth the time or money.

The food was bland, and it took an average of 30 minutes between rounds after the ticket was picked up (!). It's a shame, because the Rotterdam branch—where we had the same dishes—was quite delicious. The temperature control is also inadequate; the right side of the restaurant was several degrees colder than the rest. We were then offered a different seat, with the comment that they didn't have air conditioning but rather ventilation. As if that would make it any less cold. Also, the tables for two are right next to each other (you can just squeeze in between them to take a seat), so you can hear everyone's conversation. We won't be coming here again.

Phenomenal location, the terrace is very pretty with a view of the lake. That's its strong point. Coming from Spain, I found the food to be just okay, but the service a bit lacking. Plus, they locked us out on the terrace, so we had to improvise to get the bill and leave.

Had a fantastic evening. I'm a fan of 't zus because the food is always delicious and you can have a pleasant evening all evening long. The service was excellent, though the staff was a bit less enthusiastic and more sullen than, for example, Bilthoven. The atmosphere was pleasant, but it's a shame there's so much smoking outside in the middle of the terrace.

The all-you-can-eat concept doesn't really exist here anymore. Each bite took at least 30 minutes. The food was tasty, but the portions were very small. Because of the long wait, you tend to order extra drinks, but that also ends eventually. In short, the wait times are too long, and by 9 p.m., everyone is already making dinner for the next day.

We had a wonderful meal with three people last Friday. It's a tapas restaurant with dishes that aren't typical. We were with someone who couldn't have certain dishes due to pregnancy and someone else who is lactose intolerant. They accommodated all of this by providing separate lists of what you can and can't eat. Often, all-you-can-eat or shared dining concepts leave very little to choose from if you have dietary restrictions or dietary restrictions. That's not the case at this restaurant at all. For 42 euros per person, you can eat as much as you like. Whether it's vegetarian, fish, or meat, there's more than enough. The service isn't super fast, but that didn't bother us at all. This allows you to truly enjoy your meal. I've also seen many reviews mentioning that checking off items on a list was difficult and that a tablet would be more convenient. I disagree. Having someone come to your table to collect the lists also allows you to interact with the staff, which improves the atmosphere and service. In short, highly recommended, we'll definitely be back. Tip: the hot dishes are better quality than the cold appetizers.

A truly bad experience here. We received a cold and unfriendly welcome. Because it was cold outside, we wanted to sit inside, but the waitress said it wasn't cold and that there was no room without a reservation. Even though there were empty tables all evening! The food was also a mess: dishes we didn't recognize, staff who didn't even know what was what, and our orders didn't arrive complete. We only received the rest after asking twice. Situated in a beautiful location. The service was prompt. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was somewhat disappointing. Many dishes felt undercooked and seemed reheated rather than freshly prepared. For the price and the concept, I expected more.

Absolutely horrible experience. This place was a complete disaster. I’m attaching photos of the Aperol Spritz they served me, claiming “that’s how it’s made” — when in reality, the glass was only about 40% full, which is far from normal. A proper Aperol is usually filled to at least 70%. I asked if they could just add some ice or top it up, and they refused. They told me if I wanted a new one, I’d still have to pay for both drinks — absolutely unacceptable. In the end, we left the place, but still had to pay, which we definitely shouldn’t have. I do not recommend this place at all, especially not for tourists. It’s clearly a tourist trap where they overcharge for everything and give you poor service in return.

We dined with three people. We made a reservation. The terrace was closed, which was a shame, but it was okay. The location is excellent. The service was calm and very helpful and attentive. More parking would definitely help. The menu is extensive and delicious! Lots of choice... in short, highly recommended and... inexpensive... especially not in these times with skyrocketing restaurant prices. So, Zusje... keep it up and we'll definitely be back! I'll spread the word to my friends!

The food is average, and the way of ordering food is out of fashion, they should use iPads instead of let us writing our choices on paper for each round, making it so messy and inconvenient.

Service is rude, food is bang average, mini portions, atmosphere sucks. Dont understand how this place has such a decent rating. Would not recommend and will not come again

It was a lovely evening, a great restaurant. Friendly service; they brought something wrong once, but it was corrected immediately. The food was fantastic, the restaurant was beautifully decorated, and the lighting was pleasant.

We ate there on a very hot day. The food was delicious, fresh, and varied. The service was friendly and fast. I found it a bit awkward that we weren't allowed to order a carafe of tap water. We were a large group, and everyone ordered drinks: wine, beer, and soft drinks. Why wouldn't a restaurant serve tap water on a hot day? No one had just drunk the water. Then we ordered bottled water with screw caps, which weren't sealed. Not okay.

The food was decent, though not always warm. Plenty of choice, though. Pleasant location with free parking from 7:00 PM. The staff was young, but very friendly and attentive.

Beautiful location in the heart of Amsterdam, in a wooded area. I had a delicious meal there. Exactly the same concept and menu (placemat) as 't Zusje in Alphen aan den Rijn, Park Rijnstroom location.

Having to indicate at the payment machine in a cumbersome way that you do not want to give a tip is a practice that unfortunately has come over from the US. Charge the prices that you need and just pay your staff properly, but do not invest in a 'begging machine' instead of a payment machine.

The food is good but the menu card needs an update. We come here often but since 2 months the concept has changed (we didn't know, nobody told us) and you can no longer order per course. So you pay for 5 courses €22 and if you want one more dish you pay €42. Ridiculous. I like to pay for something I got, not for something I didn't order.

We had been charged £80 even though we had only eaten two rounds (€18) worth.. and decided the food was SO cold and tasteless that we decided to stop eating… when asking why we are being charged €80 for the “burgundy enjoyment” that we only had a quarter of.. she stated that the price is essentially prearranged.. so they instantly charge you the €80 upfront prior to them serving the food… this was an unfortunate birthday surprise from my wonderful girlfriend who i now feel awful for because she feels as if this was her fault.. this has been by far the worst service i’ve ever received in amsterdam thus far… if you want three mouthfuls of oily cold food mixed with an awful prepayment policy and an empty stomach… this is THE place for you, if not.. FEBO is a good bet for some good hot filling croquettes. thank you to the server at the start who was an angel.. you were the calm before the storm.

I was attracted by the location in a lush park, but it was a disappointment. Although it's a tapas restaurant, the concept is all you can eat. There are no Spanish elements. There are Dutch, Chinese, and Thai dishes, and no restraints. The "food" that came out didn't look bad, but it tasted bad. The service was friendly and prompt, and the location was good.

It is clearly a lot of ready-made delivered and semi-finished products in the kitchen. A lot of choice, flavors and certainly something tasty for everyone. No haute cuisine or culinary highlights but if you want that you know where to eat. The service is enthusiastic, the terrace is lovely in the summer, the cocktails are tasty and something new every time, for this type of restaurant it is very good tasty and nice and I will definitely come back.

Very disappointing. We made a reservation at 't Zusje well in advance and we also had very high expectations based on stories from friends and family. Unfortunately, this all turned out to be very disappointing. We sat down on the beautiful terrace, but unfortunately the trees released a lot of rubbish. This was on the table and the table was not cleaned when we sat down. We eventually asked for a cloth ourselves. We then had to wait 1.5 hours for our first round. We had to ask for this 3 times and of these 3 times the service staff had assumed that our order had arrived correctly 2 times. They did not check this. After that it took an incredible time for our next round to arrive. Because we had to wait so long each time, we were eventually allowed to order 2 rounds closer together. These 2 were eventually delivered at the same time. The service indicated that this problem was with the kitchen and did not think very much about preventing the problem. We ended up having a great meal and the staff was friendly, but the service left a lot to be desired and we won't be returning anytime soon.

Quality of the food is very poor. You order pasta but then you get noodles. If you order meatballs, you only get 1. Very small portions which destroys the tapas concept. That's a shame because the environment and service are fast and good.

The restaurant is in a fantastic location, but unfortunately the service there was very unfriendly. Although the terrace was completely empty, we were asked if we had made a reservation and were then very rudely told that we could only order drinks outside (weather permitting) and that we couldn't take the dog inside. It's a shame - not very customer friendly.

Loyal fan of 't Zusje Zaltbommel, however, still decided to go to 't Zusje Amsterdam. Service did their best, unfortunately the food was very poor. Everything was mainly cold/lukewarm. Next time it's 't Zusje Zaltbommel again.

Very tasty meal. They take celiac disease (gluten allergy) into account. We have come back a few times already.

Same concept as la Cubanita. Many meals heated up in the microwave (baking hot but food warm). Some are freshly prepared and you notice that immediately. Even if only 1 person orders an extra round, everyone has to pay for it. So be careful. All in all I was disappointed.

First time here but i visited the one in Gouda before. Love these restaurants. The food is great and has variety. You dont feel rushed but have enough time to eat your fill ;) definitely recommend
