't Zusje Amsterdam in Buitenveldert-West

We were there for my daughter birthday yesterday evening. We ordered 2 dishes at first round by mistake then realized and asked to change to regular one. They said that they put it in the system like that and can not change, the difference is if you order 2 dishes at 1st round it means you choose full menu which the cost is 45-euro ( 5 rounds included ) per person. If ee would choose 3 dishes then it is 16 euro. So we had to order total 10 dishes per person which is too much for us, especially for kids, we couldn’t eat . But they didn’t help at all, we regret to go there .

A really beautiful restaurant. We sat comfortably on the terrace. The staff is super friendly and the food is delicious! Sometimes you do have to wait a bit long for the food. Furthermore, the lighting in the restroom was very dim, which meant I had to get used to it for a moment when I stepped inside, but the restrooms were very clean, so that was nice!

Had a delicious meal. Wide selection. Nice dishes. Nice location. Air conditioning.

Cozy, spacious terrace by the water. A hidden gem on the edge of Amsterdam, on the edge of Zuid/Buitenveldert. Fantastic service and delicious food. All delightful small bites. A place hidden among the greenery. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back!

Had an incredibly delicious meal on the hottest day ever... so definitely kudos to the staff! Ideal small portions, and they were served very quickly one after the other. Definitely worth repeating.

Some dishes were very tasty, others not at all. Too many sauces and dressings on the food. One waitress was very young, dropped some things on the table and on her lap, but apologized and was otherwise very friendly! Another waitress made a strange remark; we handed her our slip for the 5th round and she responded with "again?" and immediately turned away, so that was clearly not a joke. Otherwise, a beautiful location, in the park and by the water. The restaurant looks cozy. It was my daughter's birthday; the staff sang for her and there were fireworks involved, very nicely done!!

We came here to eat with a large group. We sat outside on the terrace with a beautiful view of the water. There was a lot of choice, but the food was not refined or really flavorful. The staff was friendly!

Great food, great drinks, and excellent service. Everything we ordered was flavorful and well-prepared, the cocktails were well made, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout the meal. The atmosphere was also really nice as it's right on the lake and it's fun to watch the ducks float on by and made for a great overall experience. Would definitely come back again.

Nice and cozy restaurant. The tapas concept is also nicely executed and the dishes are well prepared. We did find the time between rounds to be a bit long and the atmosphere was quite quiet. Parking at the restaurant is tight; we advise parking in the vicinity.

An "all you can eat restaurant chain" with high-quality and tasty dishes, though slightly more expensive as a result.

We had a delicious meal. We sat upstairs at a round table for two. We had 5 rounds and that was more than enough. All the dishes were very tasty. The cocktails probably come from a bottle and are therefore not freshly made. That is a shame. Also, the lighting was very poor; when looking at the menu and filling out the form, I was often sitting in my own shadow. Otherwise, the service was friendly and fast. We had a very nice evening and a delicious meal.

I stumbled upon this restaurant near the NH Hotel while taking a walk. The atmosphere is great and the prices are reasonable, so I think I will definitely stop by again on my next business trip if I have the time.

Unique location with a terrace in the park and the interior is nice. Service is good and friendly. Food is oké, not splendid.

A nice place to eat to catch up with friends. The set menu concept was great, the selection was plentiful and very tasty. One small point to mention was the cold draft (we were seated upstairs). Perhaps something could be done about that? Otherwise, we had a pleasant evening. And importantly, no time slots! Super.

We recently ate here on a weekday evening. It's a nice concept with lots of small bites/tapas, and the portions are fine. Everything we ordered tasted good, and it's also nice that you can order extra side dishes as often as you like. What we liked less, however, was that the food took a very long time to arrive. It sometimes felt as if there was deliberately a bit more time between rounds, probably so that you would order extra drinks in the meantime. We did just that, resulting in a rather expensive bill. That is, of course, their concept and understandable in itself, but getting the dishes to come out a bit faster would really make the experience a lot nicer. We sat upstairs. It is comfortable up there, but the interior is very dark. On a winter evening, that creates a somewhat small and gloomy feeling. A slightly lighter look would do a lot for the atmosphere. The staff was friendly, but clearly young and still somewhat inexperienced. Not a disaster otherwise, because they do their best and are polite, and you don't need an extreme amount of experience for this concept. All in all: good food and a nice concept, but with slightly faster service and a slightly fresher atmosphere, it would be truly top-notch.

We enjoyed lunch at ’t Zusje in Amsterdam with 7 people. And by enjoying, I really mean enjoying; everything was perfectly in order. Upon arrival, we had 4 hours of parking right next door for the entire afternoon at a reasonable rate. The restaurant is cozily decorated, the chairs are comfortable for a longer stay, and the restrooms are clean and in excellent condition. The service was prompt, experienced, very attentive, and provided personal attention to the guests: bravo! Seven guests, and a variety during the two rounds of 3 and 4 courses, followed by dessert. The plates were beautifully presented with dishes of the right size, neither too much nor too little. The kitchen had done a great job; the food was of excellent quality and truly delicious, and every plate was emptied. A strong recommendation for ’t Zusje is well deserved on behalf of all seven guests.

Super fun concept with tapas! Nice, pleasant atmosphere and delicious vegetarian food! The children (10 & 13) also enjoyed it and thought it was tasty, and they tried all kinds of things. It was a real dining experience!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Had a lovely meal with colleagues. Cozy. Tasty and more than enough.

I must admit I found it expensive and mediocre. Some hot dishes arrived cold, and I found almost all the flavors a bit bland, barely pronounced. The entrance through the park has minimal lighting, so enter via the parking lot (paid until 7 p.m.).

We had a delicious meal. The small dishes are excellent and there is a very wide selection. Also many vegetarian options!! The staff is particularly friendly and also very pleasant.

Perfect for a meal based on shared dining, small plates but with great flavor. Service is amazing, attention to detail and special menu for pregnant women. Recommended for 2 or 10 the only dish we didnt like too much was the Borek, otherwise great. Tessa was a great host too.

Wwl long wait for your food but it was delicious

This location is a bit darker and atmospheric, but I had trouble reading the menu. We were quickly given a portable table lamp (battery-powered) that matched the cutlery (bronze-gold), and the staff themselves noticed we needed a light. The dishes arrive fairly quickly, and you end up spending quite a while there, because time flies.

I've eaten at 't Zusje three times now, and I'm still raving about it. All the dishes on the menu are delicious, except for the apple pie, which I don't particularly like, and I'm a real dessert fanatic. It's nice that you can choose two dishes per course, and as many as you like. If you want fewer than five courses, you pay less. The only downside is that everyone at your table has to pay the same amount for each course. Last night, I was at a table with four other colleagues. Three of them were full after three courses, and two would have liked another. You don't do that because you're making others pay for something they didn't order. I understand that otherwise, 't Zusje can't monitor how much people eat, and it's open to cheating. But hey, we didn't go home hungry anyway 🤣. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is friendly. In the summer, when the weather is nice, you can sit on the terrace by the water. I recommend this location.

Always had great experiences, except for the last time. After my last visit, I got food poisoning. Annoying, it happens, but no big deal. I politely informed the restaurant, as I think that's the right thing to do, and then they told me: "We use fresh produce, your table companions weren't sick, so it's not our fault." How annoying, madam? Are you feeling better? Absolutely no sympathy whatsoever. It's a shame I had this experience. I did have a great evening and a good meal, so that wasn't the problem, but the treatment afterward wasn't very kind.

I was disappointed. We were seated at a table near the stairs. Not a very pleasant spot. We had made a reservation, which is essential. The food was mediocre, unfortunately. The staff was very friendly.

Wonderful lunch spot in Amsterdam Zuid Had a lovely lunch at ’t Zusje in Amsterdam. Friendly staff, a modern and cozy interior, and tasty dishes. The sharing/tapas-style menu is great for trying a variety of plates, and there’s also an à la carte option if you prefer one dish. Prices are reasonable too. The restaurant is tucked away behind Gelderlandplein in a peaceful, green area with plenty of parking. Beautiful bar and a lovely garden terrace for summer. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely return!

't Zusje Amsterdam is situated in a fantastic location. You walk into Gijsbrecht van Aemstelpark, lined with beautiful, tall deciduous trees, and then you see the restaurant 't Zusje, bathed in 1,000 twinkling lights. It's a fairytale-like setting with a huge terrace by the water—so beautiful. The restaurant itself exudes a wonderful atmosphere, with all sorts of tables, from high to low, seating 2 to 10 people, velvet sofas, candles, chandeliers, flowers, plants, and a bar in the middle of the restaurant. It's buzzing with conversation and conviviality. You see people of all ages, couples, groups, friends, and businesspeople. The tapas food is varied and generous, and while it might not be haute cuisine, it's a wonderfully convivial evening. The staff is excellent; they're everywhere, sweet, attentive, and caring. There aren't many parking spaces, but we found one, and it was very affordable at €2.80 per hour. After 7:00 PM, parking is free.

The last time we were in Amsterdam, we had a bad experience. We were sitting in the middle of everyone else's path, and there was a big party going on. It was terrible then. This time, we went upstairs, and the waitress recognized us and asked about our experience. When she heard that, she took us to a beautiful, quiet place. We received a lot of attention from her and were completely pampered. Our grandson, who was with us, had a wonderful birthday celebration with his grandparents. The food was delicious. Nice restaurant and delicious food

I've been coming to this sister restaurant almost since its inception. So I'm familiar with the concept. I was absolutely shocked when I got the bill, because suddenly I was charged €42 for 6 small dishes, while 5 dishes cost €22. When I inquired, it turned out you either order in rounds, in which case you pay for Burgundian enjoyment (where you can order as much as you want), or you order 3, 4, or 5 dishes at once—your appetizers, main courses, and dessert all at once. This way, everything can be nice and cold. We weren't told beforehand that the concept had changed. Otherwise, we might have made a different choice, or even eaten somewhere else. Frankly, I don't think this new concept is very fair. If you're not hungry, you're forced to order everything at once, or you end up paying a fortune for a few small bites. I feel ripped off, even though I love coming here. I'll think twice before eating there again. Hopefully, they'll roll back to the old system, which was much clearer and more customer-friendly. Too bad, guys, it was such a nice idea, but not anymore. I didn't feel the need to tip anymore, so the staff is bearing the brunt of this.

We had a wonderful meal at Zusje, and the staff were so friendly! The small snacks were lovely, something for everyone. Plenty of vegetarian options too. And the desserts are truly delicious! Highly recommended!

The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was good. Some of the appetizers were of somewhat poor quality, and the meat dishes, in particular, were very (too) salty.

Very tasty, but I still find it expensive compared to other tapas places. And paid parking, which is a bit odd in this remote location. A parking permit if you eat here would be nice.

Staff were super rude and they keep pushing us that we need to pay 40euro per person even though we were 7 adults and one kid without telling us before hand. So we had to move 7 people to another place. Staff were VERY RUDE and the only thing they cared was their profit their going to make for that table over night and gave 0 effort for their costumer behaviour. I can say the worst restaurant I've ever been to!

The food was tasteless and dry, unfortunately. It took a long time to get your dishes, and it wasn't worth the money. You pay way too much for what you get. Sadly, I won't be back.

Beyond Disappointing. Our visit was a complete letdown from start to finish. The wait between rounds averaged 30 minutes, and out of six rounds, we only received exactly what we ordered once. All other rounds, at least one or two dishes were missing, and some were replaced with whatever the kitchen felt like sending. Promises from the waitstaff to bring the correct dishes “right away” were never fulfilled. We ordered crème brûlée twice, and only after asking a third time were we told they’d run out. The food itself was average at best, portions were tiny, and the long waits made the whole experience even more frustrating. To top it off, the bill included three drinks we never ordered. Terrible service, mediocre food, and endless delays. Absolutely not worth the time or money.

The food was bland, and it took an average of 30 minutes between rounds after the ticket was picked up (!). It's a shame, because the Rotterdam branch—where we had the same dishes—was quite delicious. The temperature control is also inadequate; the right side of the restaurant was several degrees colder than the rest. We were then offered a different seat, with the comment that they didn't have air conditioning but rather ventilation. As if that would make it any less cold. Also, the tables for two are right next to each other (you can just squeeze in between them to take a seat), so you can hear everyone's conversation. We won't be coming here again.
