Friendly restaurant, food was amazing.

I rarely write a review, but here it is: blonde man, curly-haired woman, and later a ponytail; friendly and attentive. Very tasty, with the lamb chops as the highlight. Thanks.

We had a wonderful experience at this establishment. All the staff were very kind and took great care of us. We ate very well; the tapas concept, just like in Spain, is fantastic. I 100% recommend this restaurant and its team!

Excellent food and friendly staff. Octopus isn't always easy to get right, but the texture and flavour were perfect. I was tempted to order another portion, but fortunately decided to leave room for the chocolate cake, which is worth coming here for on its own. Tia Rosa is now on my "must visit" list whenever I come to Amsterdam.

We were so lucky last Saturday! Even though it was - naturally - already fully booked, a wonderful spot at the bar was still made available for us!!! Absolutely fantastic!!! The service was friendly, helpful, and approachable. The food was delicious and unpretentious.

Delicious tapas, pleasant atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staff (especially Maria, you were so sweet, "oh, we Turks absolutely have to dip that bread in it!" :)) My only criticism is that the tables are very minimalist, it feels like something could fall at any moment :)

As a Spanish resident I was excited about the new menu. It’s an excellent example of a real Spanish cuisine, both because of variety, the choice of the dishes and the careful selection of original products resulting in excepcional quality. Another point is a great welcoming service and the passion and dedication of the restaurants team. I’d recommend it literally to anyone as a real bite of a true Spanish flavour.

Many can learn from the hospitality here. Authentic. Thanks for a lovely experience. We sat inside. It is also possible to sit outside. Can be 100% recommended and we will come again.

I'll start with the atmosphere – the place is pleasant inside. The sangria is delicious – I recommend trying it. About the downsides. We (a group of three) came for paella dinner. The menu listed the price as 22.50 euros per person, but as always, paella requires a minimum of two, which wasn't a surprise. We asked if it was possible to have paella for three, and they said no. But the waitress pointed out that the paella was quite large, and you could share it if you also ordered tapas, which we did. The tapas were good, but not the best. Ultimately, they brought us a plate of paella that would have been enough to satisfy one person, let alone two, as they'd implied, and especially not for three. As a reminder, you get a plate of paella that's enough for one person for 45 (!) euros. If you've ever been to Spain, you'll be disappointed even after adjusting for the fact that prices in Amsterdam are higher than in Spain, but that was obvious from the start. This wasn't the "quite big" paella the staff had told us about, but it's worth noting that overall, the paella itself was quite good. I'm taking off two stars specifically for this paella issue, because the actual rating of the place, excluding this item from the menu, is a solid 4 out of 5 stars. I'm giving this visit two stars specifically because we left the place angry and hungry at night. There are Spanish places in Amsterdam where you can get a similar-sized paella (which is meant for two here), but it's initially sized for one person and costs around 15-20 euros. I'd also like to give a special shout-out to the employee who caught up with us on the street and gave us our forgotten headphones and power bank. In the end, I can recommend this place, but not under any circumstances for the sake of trying paella.

I enjoyed dinner at this spot so much, I returned the next evening. It’s a lively place; the weather was beautiful so I sat outside on both visits, which offers a canal view. Very friendly service with duties shared among the staff. The gazpacho special was the highlight of the menu. I also enjoyed the warm mussels, cod fritters, and tomato salad. Nice wine options.

What a lovely spot on the canal. A narrow, narrow space, with simple wooden furniture. Great waitress (she had just started!), but super attentive and efficient. Her colleagues definitely were not, I can report. Our drinks sat on the bar for too long and people walked past it with empty hands too often. That is why it gets one star less. The kitchen is fast. Extensive menu with all kinds of high-quality tapas. The prawns could have been more flavorful (and 15 euros for 5 prawns is really a hefty price), the chimichurri was unrecognizable to me and also far too much for the two lamb chops. On the other hand, you get a full bowl of delicious sprats for only 8 euros. Nice cocktails, reasonably priced. 10 euros for a small glass (100 ml I think, max) of rosé is too much, though. The prices seem a bit random. The rest was fine and we had a lovely meal.

Highly recommended. The food is fantastic. Try the ham croquettes, the patatas bravas, and the Andalusian-style baby squid. I went 3 or 4 times with my daughter and they treated us wonderfully. A must-visit if I return to Amsterdam.

The woman and the regular staff are amazing. They try to guide the students positively and enjoy their work. If you are feeling down, look at the bartender. He makes you happy instantly with his happy vibe. Very tasty food, well-presented, and the service is incredibly sweet and friendly. Definitely recommended!

A cozy and authentic Spanish restaurant. The Iberico ham, pimientos, gamba al ajillo, and mussels are essential to us for the Spanish experience. We loved it so much on our first visit that we went a second time last night and were just as pleased. That's why I'm writing this review. The tapas are delicious, and they bring them to you hot as soon as they're ready. The staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is very warm. My humble suggestion is to make a reservation because it gets crowded even on weekdays, and I recommend ordering tinto de verano instead of sangria. It's lighter and tastes much better, in my opinion. I wish everyone a pleasant time there.

The food was very good! Based on my experience with tapas restaurants in Spain, I can definitely say that this restaurant is excellent. In terms of taste and presentation, the tapas were exactly what you would expect from a good restaurant. We received good and friendly service, didn't have to ask for anything, and the food was served quickly. Highly recommended if you are looking for a good restaurant in Amsterdam!

Nice Spanish restaurant on the canal. Outside there is a small terrace with a view. Inside, the decor is cozy. It is often busy here, so reservations are recommended. The wine list offers a wide selection of Spanish red and white wines and rosé. The menu offers a wide selection of meat and fish tapas. Portions are larger than a tapa. In Spain, this would be called a media ración. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is flavorful.

Lovely food and friendly service in a romantic, inclusive, candle lit restaurant overlooking the canal. Crème brûlée with glass of sherry/port was fantastic.

This is our favorite restaurant in Amsterdam; we went for dinner two days in a row. They have a wonderful and large gluten free menu, so my partner and I could share everything. We will be dreaming about the chorizo, pan con tomate, and lamb skewers. Must visit!!

There is no word to describe our night. This was the best food and service we ever experienced. First, food wise, don't get me started you really feel like you are in a typical Spanish restaurant. I felt that one tapas dish was on the table very quickly (2 minutes after ordering), while the rest followed 10 minutes later. I find that disappointing; my idea of ​​tapas is several small dishes served simultaneously, or at least more than one. I also felt the temperature of the food left something to be desired.

Didn’t know our arse from our elbow in respect of tapas, the staff took us under their wing and recommended some excellent dishes. Star of the show has to be the pork with apple on toast, we ordered another one it was so good. Can’t really fault anything to be honest, desserts were excellent as well

We booked to eat at this restaurant after a quick google search of Tapas restaurants close to our hotel, we really were not disappointed. The atmosphere was great and we were greeted by a really lovely member of staff as soon as we arrived. All the food was beautiful and cooked perfectly. The staff were very helpful and recommended the best dishes to order from the menu. Really enjoyable experience I would highly recommend.

The worst paella I have ever had. The rice was completely overcooked, dry, and had turned into mush. Most of the paella was stuck to the pan because it had clearly been cooked far beyond the proper point. I called the waitress over and explained that the paella was inedible. She went to speak with the chef, and his response was simply unbelievable. He said that this was how the dish was supposed to be and that we should only eat the rice on top, not the part stuck to the pan. I've had paella many times, including in Spain, and I know the difference between a proper socarrat and a ruined paella. This was not a crispy bottom—it was badly overcooked and completely unacceptable. Very disappointing. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Had a wonderful evening at Tia Rosa. The vibe is super informal and relaxed, making it easy to just unwind and enjoy the night. It has a great social atmosphere, and sharing a bunch of tapas makes the whole experience really fun and interactive. The staff are super kind and efficient. They went above and beyond when we asked for a joke photo with a bottle of Giulioncello, having fun right along with us! The food didn't disappoint either. Everything tasted high-quality, but the chorizo croquettes and bacalao were my absolute favorites. The red sangria was also spot on. Can't wait to go there again!

Service: We are a group of 8, and before we finished our desserts, we were asked to pay because they have a table booked. It was around 2 hours after we sit down. We were not aware of a time limit when we reserved the table, nor when we ordered the desserts. It feel like they came for the desserts knowing that there is another table reserved soon. Food: Some tasty. Most too salty and oily to my taste. Not all staff speak Dutch. I guess the tourists are the main money? Themepark Amsterdam afterall. All in all, would not recommend this placr for big group tapas. Not so good of an experience for my visit.

I went there a few times and always had the group menu, which they only offer to groups with at least 6 people! Great way to taste a bit of everything and not having to fight over what to choose! Very cozy location, especially in winter! In summer, they have some cute tables outside too
