Beautifully decorated, very cozy restaurant. Good service. Extensive tapas menu. For us, the price-quality ratio wasn't quite right, a bit expensive for small portions. But it was delicious. The paella was unfortunately disappointing; the rice was overcooked and a bit burnt. We reported this on the spot, as they claimed this was the usual preparation method. But they didn't make a fuss, and it was promptly resolved for us.

I've eaten here at least 5 or 6 times now, and it never disappoints. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is super cozy and welcoming, and the staff is also very good. The restaurant is less than a 5-minute walk from Rembrandtplein, which is ideal! Especially on weekends :)

The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very attentive without being intrusive. We stayed for almost two hours just enjoying the food, the vibe, and the great service. If you’re looking for a memorable tapas dinner in Amsterdam, this place is definitely one of the best. Highly recommended!

We spent a weekend in Amsterdam with friends and had dinner here on our first night. It's a cozy and inviting place. We ordered a carafe of sangria and were given bread and dip to start. Then we ordered several tapas to share. They were all delicious.

Last Thursday, I dined at Tia Rosa. I'd called ahead to ask if they had gluten-free options. I was told they have a special gluten-free menu, which gave me confidence. When ordering, I clearly indicated that all dishes absolutely had to be gluten-free. However, during dinner, something went wrong. The host placed the Ensalada Rusa dish on the table with picos on top. Because I trusted the dish to be gluten-free… which I had indicated several times, I'd already eaten the dish before realizing it contained gluten. When I indicated that I didn't think it was gluten-free, the response I received was, "Oh, I forgot to tell the kitchen…" This left me with the strong feeling that my gluten allergy wasn't being taken seriously. Unfortunately, I also became very ill afterward, which confirms to me that the gluten-free dinner wasn't handled with care. Based on my experience, I therefore cannot recommend this restaurant to people with a gluten allergy or celiac disease. The communication and attention surrounding gluten-free dishes was clearly lacking for me.

The atmosphere, food, and service were all amazing! I loved it so much I came back a second time during my 10-day trip just to bring my friends. Everything we tried was delicious, but I especially recommend the scallops, grilled octopus, and the pitcher of tinto!

Our table wasn't ready, so we had to wait. I was afraid we won't be able to eat that evening at the restaurant after all, but the waitress took care of that we got a drink until we were called to join our table. Amazing food - as one of my colleagues said "Best food I've had in Amsterdam". We did a tasting menu for a large group and literally all dishes coming in was incredible. We asked for extra bread to just soak up all of the amazing sauces from the different mains we received.

Cannot fault this place, stumbled across it whilst out walking. Range of Tapas excellent, All really good, particularly the date with bacon & honey closely followed by the cod croquettes. Topped off with a delicious bottle of Rioja and and a crème catalana. Staff super friendly and helpful.

A cute, cosy tapas place with an intimate atmosphere, the waiters were lovely and the food was of great quality and authentic. I especially loved the dates in bacon and the paella (with socarrat!!) Their tinto de verano was also great. Thank you for a lovely evening 🫶

Very cozy atmosphere, friendly staff. The ham croquettes didn't look great, but they were perfectly edible. The patatas bravas were delicious, with a good garlic sauce!

The food was great, and the Rioja even better! However, we often had to wait quite a while before getting any attention from the staff. At one point, they even had an argument that we could clearly hear, and seemed quite grumpy about it. It would be better if situations like that were kept behind the scenes, as it distracted from the lovely meal.

We made the right choice by making a reservation at Tia Rosa Tapas Amsterdam. Upon arrival, a friendly lady immediately showed us to a table. The menu offered a selection of delicious tapas dishes, including a delicious 🍷 Rioga. We enjoyed the ambiance, the food was delicious, and the staff was friendly. We'd love to return to Tia Rosa Tapas Amsterdam.

I spent a few days in Amsterdam and had the opportunity to enjoy some tapas @ Tia Rosa. The food was delicious, you could taste the quality of the food. The ambiance was also great, cozy location with a great vibe, and the staff was top notch, our server Nanda was amazing, always making sure that we were taken care of. I will certainly stop by and enjoy some of the delicious food on my next visit to Amsterdam.

A lot of things to talk about. Service was slow, the paella we had was burnt and they told me that's a style of Paella they serve, even though I don't think it's normal to taste the burnt flavor so much. Drinks took a long time to arrive and food as well. I won't come back and wouldn't recommend. ( Coming from a person that works in fine dining).

Nice restaurant with a cozy and warm atmosphere! The staff is friendly and helpful, especially the ladies who were more friendly. The food wasn't bad, but certainly not a wow factor either. I definitely expected more based on the reviews! Some dishes were even bland and really needed salt and pepper. The sangria was very good compared to the tapas. The price/portion size was good, though.

Overall, it was very good. We were very annoyed that the asparagus tapa literally came with only five asparagus. The service was excellent, the music was good and conversational, and the lighting was great. We came with friends; it's a good option for Spanish food.

Varied and large selection of dishes to choose from. Quick and friendly service. The tables are too small for the idea of ordering multiple tapas plates. The whole restaurant is also a bit small, but at the same time atmospheric.

Nice atmosphere. Works for a date, a family meal or a friends gathering. Price is ok. Food is ok but, being Spaniard myself and that's why maybe I am more critic, I was missing some flavour. But overall it was ok. We had croquetas de bacalao, pulpo, pincho de cordero (lamb) and queso frito (fried cheese). The pulpo (octopus) was really well cooked and not everybody knows how to do that.

Great food with very friendly staff. We enjoyed sharing a number of different small plates with wine. The first night we tried visiting it was going to be an hour wait or more. The second night we got a reservation online. It is worth it!

Tapas Tia Rosa is an excellent place for small bites and good wine. Anytime we travel, we look for tapa bars to enjoy a meal and experience Spanish wine. Tia Rosa did not disappoint. The staff was attentive, the food delicious, and the wine excellent. I recommend getting reservations because we tried to get in one night and they were full so we made reservations the following night and had no issues.

Small, quiet terrace. The tapas are all excellent, and the strawberry dessert is a real treat.

We saw this restaurant recommended on TikTok, so we made a reservation. We had high expectations. We received a warm welcome and were given our drinks. We ordered two dishes each, but it was very disappointing. The food was quite bland, and the prices were high compared to what we received. In the end, we didn't want to order anymore because it was all mediocre. We also received no service; the waitress didn't come around. Ordered dessert and paid. The final price was €160! For eight dishes and a dessert with some cocktails. The waitress, realizing we weren't enthusiastic, became curt and threw the receipt on the table. Avoid this place if you can.

We were outside and unfortunately had a very small table for four people. However, the service was very quick and friendly. The food was excellent.

The food was okay; the lamb wasn't great, and the chicken wings weren't either. But the beef strips, scallops, and cheesecake were very tasty. The price is sometimes a bit too high for what you get. But otherwise, we had a good evening.

A lovely, atmospheric restaurant. The servers were quick and friendly. The food was delicious and the portions were just right (you could share about three dishes between two people per round; we had two rounds). My only complaint would be that the candle in the middle of the (two-person) table is distracting and takes up too much space compared to the size of the table.

But that's my own fault; because it was so delicious and enjoyable, I ate too quickly.

Had a fantastic time dining at this tapas place with my friends, the host was especially excellent and the menu was very well put together and … delicious ! Update: came back a year later for a suprise dinner for a large group. Somehow the food was even better than last summer and the dinner tapas was very well curated by our host Rob, a longtime friend of mine. He also went above and beyond picking out an epic Rioja for the occasion. Thanks Rob and the whole team, this place is highly recommended !
