Espresso Yourself in Oosterparkbuurt

May 2025 A nice and quiet place to have coffee during opening hours of University. Coffee has a slight acidity. Little bit too.much for my taste but not like some that are not drinkable anymore in town. Swift service, normal pricing.

A joke! You have to pay €3 an hour to use your laptop after paying €5.50 for an iced coffee. Don't bother. Rethink your business model or you won't survive Amsterdam's coffee market!

Perfect place to visit! The place is very calm with loving piano music. I appreciate that personally a lot because many cafes have just pop music. The service was the best, very friendly and I got recommendations! It also is very clean and aesthetic. 5 stars!

I come here very often, to work and relax. Its very clean and very peacefull. The coffee is very good and their crossaints are good to. I definitely recommend this the woman who runs the place is also very kind.

Ik ben vandaag voor de eerste keer geweest, en ben van plan zo vaak als mogelijk terug te komen! Een gezellig café met een simpel maar daarom juist perfect menu. Heerlijke koffie en een geweldig koekje, voor een ontzettend schappelijke prijs. 100 meter verderop ben je bijna een euro meer kwijt aan een enkel kopje koffie! De eigenaresse was openhartig en verwelkomend, en was duidelijk zeer betrokken bij haar klanten. Ook was zij duidelijk in de communicatie! Ik raad iedereen absoluut aan om Espresso Yourself een keer te bezoeken om gezellig te zitten of op je computer te werken (€2,75 p/uur + verplichte consumptie vindt ik een enorm logische en milde prijs voor het decor, de sfeer en de plek. Ik zie in een aantal beoordelingen dat hier commentaar op is, en vindt het hartstikke vreemd dat men hier zo negatief over denkt! Zelfs in huidige tijden is dit geen gat in de portemonnee.) Om een lang verhaal kort te maken: ik kom terug!

Just another pimped out café in Amsterdam with barely any customers, and you're asked indirectly to pay extra if you want use a laptop in "designated, cordoned off areas". A pity...

The best coffee for me in Amsterdam

It made me confused because it is not a pet friendly place and there are no sign at the door. I believe it was a personal choice of the waitress to keep us outdoors because I have been here a few times before and others didn't complain about my pretty pet accompanying me.

Heerlijke koffie voor een eerlijke prijs, het is hier standaard dat je twee shots voor de prijs van een krijgt. Leuke ligging op de hoek met grote ramen, zodoende kan je fijn naar buiten kijken.

Spacious place with comfy sitting area & benches outside. Pastries, drip coffee available My coffee (americano) was rather strong & on acidic side. Definitely not overcrowded and nicely located spot. They accept cash 🙏Recommending.

Please note customers have to pay 2.5 euro / hour, for using laptop or ipad. It’s not expensive actually, but a bit not comfortable to check time often, for me. But understandable this system.

Good quality coffee with decent price, spacious and cozy atmosphere :) there’s also some tables you can work with laptop.

I would've said it's the best place for work uad it not been for the internet speed. Just 2Mbps isn't enough for an audio meeting, let alone video.

Koffie was lekker. Helaas geen zoetjes maar wel suiker? en ook geen keuze uit lekkernijen dat je normaal gesproken bij kan nemen. Update: om het specifieker te maken: wat je normaal gesproken bij andere zaken wel lekkernijen kan krijgen heb je het helaas hier niet.
