It is a very good bar. The cappuccino and the cinnamon’s roll were fantastic. All perfect.

The coffee was excellent, and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was great. The environment was very clean. Seating was mostly for two people.

This place is truly a joy to visit; the staff is enthusiastic and the atmosphere is cozy. The coffee and treats were delicious and affordable!

We come here almost every day. For a coffee to go or for a coffee break on the terrace. There are plenty of alternatives nearby, but it's no wonder we keep coming back.

Consistently the best cappuccino! Very fast wi-fi. Good pastry. No extensive lunch card, so only expect good coffee, tea. Could get too busy when there is an evnt in the parc.

A heart-warming café in my neighbourhood. Walking through Westerpark and being welcomed by the greenery inside and the super friendly smiles of the staff is my favourite moment of the morning. It’s such a cosy place to read a book or simply watch people and dogs passing by, with a cup of delicious and reasonably priced coffee or tea in hand. Highly recommended!

The staff here are so sweet! My girlfriend usually orders our drinks, but this time I had to do it and I was completely lost. But Amber and Tijn recognized me, so they knew exactly what we wanted. So thoughtful!

What a fantastic place! The staff is incredibly friendly and they really know their stuff about coffee. You can sit there and enjoy your coffee. A huge plus is that they even roast their own coffee on-site! It's incredibly interesting to watch, and when I had a few questions, she explained everything to me, and we had a wonderful conversation! In short, if you're in the area, definitely stop by.

Response to the owner: There were two other customers waiting for drinks besides me, I hardly consider that to be busy. On the staff side there was one barista doing all the work (did he get the short straw that day?) and two other staff members doing some small chores like taking stuff out of the dishwasher or carrying some packages around. They could have easily stopped those tasks for 20 seconds to bring drinks to the table instead of having customers waiting there standing.

I've seen many coffee shops, but this one is truly unique. The atmosphere and decor are super cozy, and the staff is always attentive and friendly. The various coffee options make it interesting to try something new every time, and I even gave a bag of coffee to my mother as a gift. It was absolutely delicious!

Was our first coffee stop in Amsterdam. Were not lucky with the weather, but with the coffee. Coffee was prepared with love, every time with pretty latte art. Batistas were so friendly and supported us to consume more caffeine. Thank you! And thank you for reaction to bird origami. See you next time :)

Really lovely place to have a morning coffee and a walk as it is right next to Westerpark. The staff were also friendly and the interior was very pretty.

My girlfriend and I grabbed a coffee here yesterday. Then we went to the park to enjoy the sun. She went back to use the bathroom but was denied entry as "the bathroom was just cleaned". We went next door where we didn't even buy drinks. No hassle there. We'll be going there next time. The guy needs to be more customer friendly and empathetic. We men can go pee in a bush, we don't get periods. Don't deny a lady to use a bathroom.

The place doesn't have a changing room and as I was changing my baby very carefully on top of a table in the terrace (they really gave me no other choice) a waiter (obviously who isn’t a mother) very rudely told me not to do it on the table. I told her that they don’t have a changing room and that I had no other choice and she simply replied that I wouldn’t do that of it was my home… that was super embarrassing as there were many other people around so please do not go if you don’t want to be humiliated

A nice place to drink coffee before the exhibition or take it with you for a walk in the park.

The best coffee shop in Amsterdam (west)! Delicious coffee, nice and sweet baristas, delicious banana bread and the newspaper. In short: big tip.

My order was taken incorrectly, and I received a small coffee instead of the size I originally ordered. When I pointed out the mistake, I was told that I would have to get back in line and pay the difference, as the coffee had already been made. On top of that, the manager’s attitude was condescending and dismissive. Mistakes happen, but this is not how customer satisfaction is achieved. I expected better service.

I was disappointed with my experience at this coffee shop. My order was taken incorrectly and I was given the wrong size 4 coffees. When I pointed out the mistake I was told to go to the back of the queue and pay the difference as the coffee had already been made. Instead of acknowledging their mistake and offering a simple fix, the staff (including the manager) were dismissive and condescending. It's normal to make mistakes, but good customer service is about how you handle them - and this was handled badly.

This is not a latte. It does not matter if you order a latte, a flat white or a cappucino, they prepare the same type of milk foam for all. So, all the coffee sacks and roast machine in the place are just decors. Pastries are not delicious neither.

The desks are really small. Also there is no place to put your coat and bags. After heavy rain, there wasn't any coat hangers inside, I needed to hold my wet stuff on my lap. Toilets are very small, not that comfortable. I'd definitely suggest the coffee tho. I tried pea milk here for the first time, in cappuccino. I'd definitely recommend it. I think they have good coffee.

This tent Espresso Factory, but they don't know what espresso is, they make a hipster version of everything, if you order regular black coffee you get Americano= hot water in the coffee. Only they have to mention what they make when ordering, so I can choose whether or not to get coffee here.

Very nice coffee. Located right next to the museum. We sat outside with our dog and enjoyed our coffee. Great exercise area for dogs. There is an unfenced dog park opposite the Espressofabriek. Meeting point for all small and large four-legged friends. Delicious coffee delicacies and a great ambience. Only card payment possible.

Clearly ordered M size take away coffee. Got S , told them that I ordered M (big size), cashier told she heard S so that’s what I am getting. Coffee is good but experience is ruined. I think if they would accept the error at least , I wouldn’t be so sour. Future edit: In your response to the message above you say that barista offered to remake the coffee to the right size, but that is not true. As I said if I would have been offered that, i would probably just brush it off, and be understanding .

My number one coffee place since 2014. But lately I always get this. Medium latte for 5 euros which is basically just small one but in a big cup. What a disappointment. I think it is time to find another coffee place.

This is an excellent spot. Just know that it’s crowded on the times you would expect it to be like a sunny Sunday afternoon. At other times it’s doable and lively.

I’m a local and visit once a week. Oat lattes are the best ones in the area*, their cakes (carrot cake, brownie and cheesecake) are also good. The place is kinda small and usually p busy, I think they should utilise the upstairs area, especially for people who wanna sit down with laptops. Service is a hit or miss, usually they’re nice, but sometimes disorganised and kinda ignoring you at the till …? Cake portions have been fair but last time we bought carrot cake it was the thinnest little slice I’ve ever had. Still not sure if it’s the new portion or if they just mistakenly cut it that thin (bread slice thin) cause they usually had been twice the thickness. EDIT 24 SEPTEMBER 2023 *They sadly changed their oat milk and I don’t enjoy their coffees anymore. Save yourself a hassle and don’t visit during the weekends cause it’s super busy. Had to wait about 15min for one coffee.

Not so welcoming, but coffee is good. They make iced lattes a bit different. They use room temperature milk and add a little ice into the little paper cups (the ones they also use for hot coffee) and it ends up not so iced coffes.

Great place for coffee with friends. And also nice choice of cakes!!! However there is not big space,so rather don't plan huge meeting here.

One of the worst coffees I've had in a long time; unbalanced and with extreme acidity. I think the grind was too course making the shot run too quick, but the barista insisted this is the way it should taste. 🤔 Ouch.

Excellent coffee in a busy area next to a scenic park. The seating was full when I visited on a Monday and there was limited seating outside. Chocolate chip cookie was delicious and coffee was well made. My sister said the espresso was strong.

Lekkere koffie. Gemiddelde verblijfsduur is vrij kort. Lokatie heel slim. Industriële inrichting heel passend. Erg lekkere cake. Alles schoon. Vriendelijke bediening.

Helaas zeker niet de meest smaakvolle expresso van Amsterdam. Ondanks dat kan het in het weekend wat druk zijn. Binnen en buiten zitgelegenheid. Terras is helaas niet in de zon.

The people are friendly but had a burnt and extremely bitter tasting espresso that I couldn't finish. I like bitterness but this was too much, maybe a bad batch. I'll try again.

Vooraf aan Fabrique de Lumieres hier koffie gedronken met een heerlijke (dikke) plak carrot cake en bananen brood. Koffie werd met zorg klaar gemaakt. Je kon gratis een glas water pakken voor bij je koffie. Dus voor of na je bezoek aan de Fabrique kunnen we hier een lekker kopje koffie zeker aanraden. Wel even zelf bestellen aan de bar binnen.
