Farcito - Italian Panini & Pizza in Omval/Overamstel

Review from an Italian in Amsterdam: excellent pizza! Picked up right there, very kind and friendly guy. Highly recommended.

There's a tablet on the window where you can scan your order, and it's brought downstairs when it's ready. However, the first time it was scanned, it indicated the order would be ready in 2-13 minutes. After the 13 minutes were up, we scanned it again, and it said it would take another 10 minutes. Five minutes later, someone from the restaurant came downstairs laughing and said, "Haha, you've probably been standing there a while!" Even though the order was already almost 10 minutes later than initially indicated. Regarding the food, the truffle sandwich itself was fine. However, I've had several large sandwiches at similar sandwich shops for this price where I was actually full after consuming one, and this sandwich had so little toppings that I was still hungry afterward. The porchetta, on the other hand, was just plain awful. The bun was tough, and so was the porchetta on it. What should have been juicy meat was left only a tough and cold piece. Farcito had been on my list of places to visit for a while, but unfortunately, it wasn't worth it. There are many similar places with the same or better prices, where you'll still go home feeling satisfied.

Ordered through Uber Eats. Made my own schiacciata (warm focaccia with toppings). I spent a total of 25 euros. 21 euros for a LARGE schiacciata and 4 euros for delivery and service. What I got for that 21 euros is beyond words. A small roll with 4 tomatoes and a dollop of blue cheese. 21 euros!!!!! The focaccia was tough, cold (as if it had never been "schiacciata," which means flattened on the grill), and the focaccia was OLD. 21 euros!!!! When I order 25 euros from Uber Eats, I get a real treat. Even in the Netherlands. I order LARGE for a reason!!!! Because I'm going to share it with my son... for 21 euros, the least I could do is share it with a small child, but even that's not possible; this is far from large, this is tiny!!!! I'm extremely disappointed and feel robbed.

The first time we ordered here, it was highly recommended. This time we decided to order another pizza, and it was a burnt one. The Red Devil was literally from hell, as the crust was black. The crust was tough, and the flavor was drowned out by overcooked and burnt spices. I've honestly never eaten such a disgusting pizza. The anti-pork was at least as badly treated; I'd be mortified if I were the owner.

Went and picked up my food directly, family run, showed me their ingredients, exceptional service, very friendly! They really do care about what they sell and you can see it in their food. Would definitely recommend. Food is made fresh to order!

One of the best pizzas I ate in Amsterdam! The mozzarella flavor on the Margherita reminds me so much of Italy. The truffle pizza is a must-try, with how creamy it is and how well it tastes. Strong recommend!

Ordered a Margherita pizza yesterday. Very tasty but unfortunately arrived cold (even though I live very close by). The menu looks enticing though, so I definitely want to give it another try at some point.

I ordered delivery and it was fast, incredibly good and the staff was really kind in the packaging and communication... I must admit the products are incredibly expensive (thats why 4 stars), it is true that is real original good italian stuff that they must import but i still think 15 euros for "sandwich" is too much.. Maybe get better deals with the suppliers? Anyway defenetly give this place a chance it's good!

Just ordered one of their Schiacciata sandwiches and must say that they are pretty amazing. The bread is very tasty and crispy and the toppings were even better. Paid around €13 for the Sandwich. Now I’m really curious whether the pizzas are equally good. Hope to find out soon 🇮🇹❤️

By far the best panini place in all of Amsterdam, and one of the best panini experiences I've had in my life. Me and my girlfriend are both italian, and we just finished our panini smiling the entire time. Cannot recommend enough. Amazing quality, delivery, and very fairly priced. Show them all the love you can, me and her will definitely be coming back!

Great delivery place. Gorgeous, delicious pizza's and panini's with well thought out combinations of ingredients. Super nice traditional tiramisu as well! And they left a cute lil message on the bag that the order came in. Would definitely recommend.

If you are in Amsterdam and you are finding italian food, you have to go to Farcito, specialized in Italian food. Overall, the restaurant provides a pleasant dining experience with good food and service. Farcito's pizza is quite good, with a crispy crust and fresh toppings. The sweets are also tasty and well-made. In addition, there are a nice variety of options on the menu.

Finally an autentic italian place! I'm looking forward to try all the menù!

I tried the green gold schiacciata with mortadella and pistachio pesto and it was fantastic! The sfogliatella is really like the one I ate in Italy! Farcito is number one to me! 😊
