Italian Gourmet in Grachtengordel-Zuid

I came to Amsterdam and was surprised by the best pancakes I've ever eaten in my life. I was fascinated by the decoration of the plate and the flavors were fantastic.

Italian cuisine should look different.

The atmosphere is very good. It is nicely decorated, real Italian atmosphere. Food was very good, warm and fresh! We paid 15 euros for a well-filled brunch. With fresh fruit, fresh orange juice, fresh bread, etc. In short, very good food! Definitely recommended

Great place, we went twice for breakfast because we really liked the food, they have complete breakfast packages that are very well served, the service is very good, plus the waiter assists you in Spanish without a problem, I would definitely recommend them for more than one occasion if you stay several days in Amsterdam.

How is this place so quiet? It should be jammed full. It’s a real hidden gem in Amsterdam and I would recommend it. The lasagne was a hit and the Arancini were incredible! The staff are helpful and the seating is cozy, like a good Italian should be. The decor and ambience are nice (just quiet - but then it’s Tuesday at 7pm). We all really enjoyed our dinner here. Come and eat before it gets so busy you can’t get in anymore!!!

Food was super tasty, but small portions... Too bad, because we thought it was YAMMIE!🥰 Service was good with very sweet staff, but no dessert was asked..😔 We got the bill straight away. The atmosphere was good, but very quiet because we were very early on a weekday. BUT, it was very tasty and we will definitely come back!

The American pancakes come with fries (even more than the pancakes), which unfortunately isn't on the menu. And the pancakes are from the supermarket for the toaster. The bacon wasn't tasty either. And all the fun for €15.

Un rapport qualité-prix décevant : les tarifs sont beaucoup trop élevés pour les quantités proposées. Les plats semblent être surgelés, et le service manque de coordination, car les convives ne sont pas servis en même temps.

I found this one of the best Italian restaurants in the Netherlands. Food was impeccable, seating was cozy, furniture and Christmas decorations were very pretty too! And the waiter really made us feel at home. Will definitely revisit this lovely place next time I am in Amsterdam! The pistachio soufflé is a must-try. Succulent, rich and creamy, multiple layers of flavour and all without being overly sweet. That dessert really made my day.

Service was a bit slow and the food was ok, a bit cold. The ravioli was excellent and the pasta not so much.

Soy muy alérgica a los lácteos, así que pedí la pasta vegana, mi familia también pidió diferentes pastas veganas. Todos vienen con parmesano lácteo real. Me enfermé bastante de ello, no confiaría en que se tomaran en serio ninguna alergia.

I recommend you a sea bass, good size of filet and fresh and tasty. Moreover, a big portion of salad, not little add, but real salad. Very good chocolate! Small, nice and comfy atmosphere. Great offer of brunches (breakfasts) for 15 eur incl.jus and coffee.

Italian Gourmet is an excellent place to enjoy flavors of Italy. Their panino pizza sandwich is especially delicious, it's what I ate right now and it features a soft, crispy crust at the same time. The mozzarella filling is generous and has that perfect, super stretchy texture that is enjoyed in every bite. I loved it, Ideal for those who want something light but substantial 10/10

Brunch for 15 euros. Coffee and orange juice were okay, but serving a baked-off croissant with peanut butter would make the French turn in their graves.

OMG these empanadas are a massive surprise!!! The place is a mom and pop shop, you can see the folks cooking and it feels like a home made meal made with love! We had the empanadas, carbonara, mussels and tiramisu! Every note hit the right way and the staff are very friendly’

We're back for a second day in a row because of how good the pasta was. The staff was very caring, appropriately giving us guidance on choosing what we wanted and this was quite helpful. Service was timely, the toilets were super clean. Overall a family friendly spot; Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick hunger fix in the middle of a tiring day in the city!

Worst pasta Bolognese I have ever had. I don't understand the good reviews here. The meat tasted so old and had a weird smell. Too expensive for such a bad food. Never ever

We ordered Arancino, Tiramisu, Aperol Spritz, Limoncello Spritz, Pistachio souffle, espresso. Very tasty, fast and beautiful service! It is located right next to the flower market. Nice atmosphere. We are satisfied. I recommend!

Very calm, not many people. English breakfast was delicious, very simple.

Very nice waiter trying his best to make us happy. But the Food was mediocre at best. They do not use fresh spices. Taste is one dimensional. This is not gourmet italian cuisine! Coffee was awful.

Food was great. We had salad, pizza, and lasagna. The waiter was very friendly and attentive and answered all our questions. Restaurant is pretty small but we were there for an early dinner around 6pm and had no trouble getting seated.

The restaurant is not very attractive on the outside and I entered without many expectations. In the end I was very pleased since the food was excellent and I must thank Sergio's recommendations, including the "burro e parmesano" in addition to the fact that he gave us excellent service. He also spoke Spanish. I will return in the future when I am back in this beautiful country.

Small and cozy italian resto at a premium location with great food and staff. The staff are extremely kind. We came with a toddler and all of them were so helpful and patient. We took a while to order but they all recommended us which food would be most suitable. They also speak English and Spanish, which helped my parents a lot We ordered different pasta like the carbonara and bolognese, buffalina pizza and drinks like apperol spritz and all of them were great. Highly recommended!

The food was really bad, ( lasagne and greek salad ). The food portions were small, which didn’t align with the high prices. The restaurant also did not want to refund me a order that I adjusted.

I had the Ravioli Funghi Porcini, and it was so delicious that I ordered it again before leaving! The staff were amazing—friendly and attentive. The only downside was a broken table, but it didn’t ruin the experience. Highly recommend for the food and service!

Service could have been a little better (if we had empty glasses we were not asked if we wanted anything else to drink, taking orders when one of us was on the toilet). There is still room for improvement in this regard. But the food... WOW! We really enjoyed it!

Really really great food in the middle of Amsterdam. What you can't necessarily expect. The pizza was outstanding, as were the pasta and salad and everything was perfect.

The restaurant has a cozy seating area inside, with a few tables outside as well. The servers are very attentive and speak english well. The music was in Italian, providing a very enjoyable background without being too loud. The menu has a good variety of dishes, including a large selection of pizzas. The arancino maribel (which includes pistachio nuts and stracciatella cheese) appetizer was delicious, and just the right size for two people to share. We each had a pasta dish as our entree. The cacio e pepe, as well as the burrata each seemed to have homemade pasta; fresh and al dente. They were each very nicely seasoned, not simply covered in some forgettable sauce. All in all, this place is a gem that I would highly recommend!

Very good food, super nice staff, and nice casual atmosphere. Ate here with friends on a Saturday evening and we really enjoyed it. Everyone was super nice and they were attentive, though not too much. The beef carpaccio was a large plate, enough for 2-3 people to share as an appetizer easily. We all enjoyed the food very much. Desserts were great. I had the lemon sorbet which came in a frozen lemon peel - delicious. Other friend had the tiramisu which of course was good. Everything was well cooked and well presented. We had a bottle of wine and as we were trying to decide between 2 wines, they let us taste both before choosing. It is a family run restaurant and everyone was very friendly and sweet. Will definitely be back!

After a long stroll through the flower market, we chose to take a gourmet break in this small Italian restaurant. Chance doing things well: we came away enchanted......👍 The cuisine, the service and what about the carbonara and seafood pasta ⭐⭐🌟🌟 It's certain: during our next getaway to Amsterdam, we will come back.

The best thing has been the attention. We are Spanish, the waiter spoke quite well in Spanish and was very nice and attentive.
