Had a very lovely dinner in this cosy restaurant. Good food, good service, good atmosphere. We loved it! As for the food, we love tapas and we shared tonight the Pimientos de Padron, Pan Tomate, Tuna Tartare, Mini Hamburgers, Patatas Bravas and Gambas. We would honestly recommend all of these! Oh and don’t forget to order the White Sangria, so extremely tasty.

What a place! The barmaid with the funny name, something about "knol," was incredibly friendly and a real beer connoisseur! She was a bit cheeky, but hey, a little bit of spirit is fine. My nephew asked for her number, and she gave it up very willingly. I hope she's doing well. Best,

We loved our experience at Five Brothers Fat. The food was delicious. We had the following: Calamari: The best I've had in a long time. Very light batter and tender squid. Patatas Bravas: Lovely flavour, perhaps a little too crunchy but still excellent. Iberico Ribs: Fall of the bone tenderness. Croquettas: Delicious! The chorizo was a great add. the staff were friendly and the design and atmosphere of the restaurant was excellent. The service was quick and very friendly. I'd highly recommend Five Brothers Fat to anyone traveling in the area. Perfect for a date night.

I love good tapas and other Spanish finger food, so I’m now hooked on this cozy little restaurant! The dishes were well prepared and reminded me a lot of the small dishes I had in the south of Spain. Highly recommended in company or alone. One note of caution: this restaurant is not cheap.

this place says it’s open until 1am at this given time, yet the bar is very clearly shut. I would suggest adjusting the opening times

Ok food, prices a bit steep for the quality but acceptable. Less acceptable was the service, which was poor. One person's food didn't arrive, staff didn't even notice until we chased up after an additional 10 minutes of hopeful waiting. Because of the delay, we had to eat our meals separately, not very gezellig. No apologies were forthcoming, and they even lied and said the food order was 'almost done', rather than forgotten, and that it was being prepared 'fresh'. Small tip to the restaurant: people generally eat out and pay the prices you charge for 'fresh' food. Saying this like it's some kind of extra benefit to us is not reassuring.

Met name de jongen die ons hier heeft geholpen verdient een pluim. De smaken waren sowieso allemaal geweldig. De asperges hadden echter wel wat beter geschild mogen worden. Deze waren dradig en vlezig. Maar verder top qua smaak en in combinatie met de saus en smaken. De cocktails erg goed en hand shakes. De inktvis zou ik zelf eerder volgroeide inktvis nemen i.p.v. die mini dingen. Net wat meer smaak. Al met al een ruime dikke voldoende

This is probably the worst branch in the franchise. It's really cramped and loud inside and the staff were unprofessional. Wait time is long, some orders were forgotten. I've been 4 times and it's always the same.

The espresso martini was delicious! We also got a bottle of grapefruit cava that was delicious. The food was incredible but we were still hungry so ordered the batatas twice. The chicken is high on the recommendation list and also the prawns in lemon from the mains. Actually everything was delicious! We love th vibe on a Friday night

Very crowded, could do with fewer tables. Food and drinks were good. Nice for groups.

Overcrowded and not enough service. Our table had very little space between seats, wall and table next to us (and I’m 1.60 girl in the land of giants!) A 12 people table was sat next to us, their backseat against ours didn’t allow waiters or us to move! Too many customers per waiter led to long waits and inattentive service. There’s no buffer between reservations so we were rushed even before our time was up. It’s clear that management is trying to get most revenue / square meter and waiter but it’s seriously damaging customer experience and quality. I hope it improves because it’s a cute little gem with an interesting menu and character. Bottom line: I wouldn’t go back for the same experience. Strongly recommend against going with a larger group

Impossible de se rendre à Amsterdam sans dîner au Five Brothers Fat West. Tout d’abord l’accueil. Notre table n’étais pas prête tout de suite et nous avons eu le droit à une coupe de champagne par le serveur très charmant. Puis, nous nous sommes installés dans une ambiance cozy chic avec lumières tamisées et devant le chef qui préparait les plats devant nous. Les cocktails sont absolument délicieux (surtout le Pisco Sour et l’Expresso Martini. Enfin nous sommes passées à la dégustation de tapas. Un des mes meilleurs restaurant de toute notre vie. La carte est originale et les plats tous aussi savoureux les uns que les autres. Énorme coup de cœur pour le tartare de patanegra qui est le meilleur que nous avons dégusté jusqu’ici. Une vraie émotion à chaque bouchée. Nous avions fini sur une touche sucrée tout aussi travaillée. Le rapport qualité prix de ce restaurant est excellent et le moment que nous avons passés divin !! This place was disappointing. Saturday night and was busy, but to receive drinks or 3 tapas (one was bread, the other only fried foods that require minimal preparation) we had to wait over 40 minutes. Every other dishes we had to wait again. Some dishes were good, but most of them were disappointing, especially considering the high prices.

Fast and tasty food. Props to the chefs. Good service allround. Very happy with the experience. 😁

Great restaurant with a tapas concept. The food was extremely tasty, would recommend the Gambas! Would have given this restaurant five stars, but at times the waiters forgot our order (we asked for a bottles of water about four times during 1). I had to walk up to the bar to remind them once again.. However, I would go back here for the food and drinks though!

Heel onprofessioneel personeel. Kan ik jullie nog helpen: de rekening misschien? Heel erg opdringerig en onaardig. Gaat alleen om uiterlijk vertoon en niet om kwaliteit. Ik keer niet terug.

Wat een knus pareltje in West. Cava voor de beste prijzen: geheid tipsy naar huis. Vergeet de hapjes niet te proberen!

Being spanish I find the tapas quite poor, not a bid selection and the portions are also VERY small. The sangria version with Cava is a good choice! though. Oh forget about using the toilet is disgusting! Ruin my night that I hope the kitchen is a lot more careful clean😶

Gisteren hier gegeten, ondanks dat we aan een mini tafeltje zaten voor 3 was de sfeer erg gezellig. We hebben super lekker gegeten, de aubergine was erg verassend en lekker, de burrata precies zoals die hoort. De ribs zijn ontzettend mals en vallen zo van het bot af! Qua drank ook zeker lekkere cava en wijn gehad. Bediening is vriendelijk. Zeker de moeite waard voor een leuk avondje uit.

Long list of cava options to choose from that you can have next to Spanish tapas. Tapas are good, but pale in comparison with the real thing. Service is very fast with friendly waiters. Great place to stop by for a few bubbly glasses and a bite.

Auf der Suche nach einer Lokalität, welche unseren Hunger zu stillen vermag und gleichzeitig unsere Erwartungen an gutem Wein gerecht wird, stiessen wir auf das Five Brothers West. Wir können es von Herzen empfehlen! Wenn sie Tapas mögen, wirklich gute Tapas, dann müssen Sie hier hin. Hochstehende Gastronomie mit einem unkomplizierten, hippen Ambiemte. Definitiv einen Besuch wert! Und übrigens: Der Service ist fenomemal!

Thé restaurant had the best service I have seen in such a long time. I work in one of Melbourne best restaurants and always try and find places that offer the same quality of service as we do. Honestly this beats it. We were recommended the natural champagne and it was very nice just what I asked the waiter for. We also got a very nice steak tartare which I highly recommend, the burrito was really nice, the aubergine was delicious with the Zaatar and garlic sauce. The potatoe bravas was great the sauce was very nice. The dessert was great and that scropino was a perfect end to a meal. I had made a silly mistake and went to the wrong restaurant and they were able to tell me what the restaurant I had made my reservation at. Obviously they communicated it and they treated us by our name when we walked it. I nice personal touch.

Overpaid for sub-par tapas and slow service (dinner took 3 hours). The sangria is straight sugar water. The environment is nice and cozy, but chairs are too high for the tables.
