Amazing service and great cocktails

My husband took me there for our wedding anniversary. I filed for divorce! The menu doesn't match what's advertised! The sharing platters were so small there weren't enough, and he ate everything. We ordered a ribeye steak, and let's just say it was more like a child's steak! However, the meat was still very good, which was the only positive point. On the other hand, the waiter asked to round up the bill; from 60 euros, he asked for 70. I'd rather leave it at that. Why: Don't go to the basement.

I made a last minute booking for Steak Club Leidse as I was travelling over from London with family for a short break. The restaurant didn’t disappoint. The food was great as was the service, and the atmosphere was perfect. I would definitely visit again and happily recommend.

Loved the food!! And the cocktails were the best I’ve tasted so far in Amsterdam, definitely recommend! Atmosphere is calm and you can talk to each other with a good ambient music. Fridays and Saturdays they have club times, music is good and the vibes are there! Recommend coming in winter times for the craziest experience at the club.

I had a fantastic experience. I started with a delicious dry-aged steak in the restaurant, paired with some very tasty cocktails. And then I enjoyed the club night. Highly recommended.

Everything was great, a central location, easy to get to and very elegant.

It took almost 2 hrs to get the food. Service tried to deny it and overall bad experience. Maybe ok for drinks but for food stay away. Trust me.

The food was absolutely fantastic — the steak was cooked to perfection, and both the appetizer and dessert were delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the waiters were exceptionally attentive and friendly. A truly great dining experience!

The restaurant was cozy, and the waiter was very nice and kind. Unfortunately the waiting time for food was 30 minutes, which was a bit too much. The food was not hot when we got it, and the waited seemed busy and confused, even though there wasn’t many costumers in the bar/restaurant. My fried vegetables, bearnaise sauce and fries were good, but my steak was very dry and over-cooked. Not worth the expensive price. All in all good taste, but not good enough for the price.

I have been here a few times and the service is incredible. Once, we ordered the wrong item and they kindly allowed us to send it back for the one we wanted, because it wasn't to our taste. Amazing service and atmosphere. Highly recommend! It has become one of my fav restaurants. Ps: the food is incredible as well.

Nice ambiance, but very chaotic. There were 13 of us and we had made a reservation about two months in advance. When we arrived, our table wasn't ready. We had to wait another 20 minutes until it was ready. Then we could order and had to wait an hour and a half (just two hours) for our food. Then the food arrived, and some of it was simply cold. It's a shame, because the steaks were good and so was everything else, but cold, it just wasn't great. In my opinion, they need to work on the concept a bit.

Very delicious food in a cozy atmosphere. The menu is comprehensive, making it difficult to choose just one of the delicious dishes. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Raphael, who was very friendly, funny, and accommodating. The "Dutch Apple Pie" is definitely recommended, no matter how full your stomach is.

Superb quality meat! Three of us came with a reservation. The service is catastrophic. Our server has no interest and refuses to serve us an extra portion of fries, saying it takes too long... Halfway cleared the table, making us wait in the entrance to clear a table that ultimately won't be ours... A real shame, the rest is really excellent! A special mention goes to the ribeye, cooked perfectly!

We were disappointed with the service. The waiter seemed completely disorganized: he cleared one table, then another, before coming back to us without really knowing where he was. When we tried to order fries, he told us it would take an hour and that "it wasn't going to work." It was a shame, because it somewhat spoiled our experience. That said, the food was excellent and the setting truly pleasant. You can tell there's real quality in the cuisine—no complaints there. Amazing experience! My wife and I came to visit from Chicago for our honeymoon and everything was amazing. The service, the food, and we came on Saturday and the DJ was lit ! He played everything from home, it’s like they knew we were coming. The atmosphere is great ! 20/10

This is the 2nd time we had dinner in the restuarant. Food is perfect. Today we were serviced by Anya, an extremely friendly person. There also was a magistian performance and our kid was smiling a lot. I think this is the dinner place for us for the rest of the trip

Lovely restaurant. The ribeye steak was tender and cooked to perfection, the cherry tomatoes were sweet, the homemade fries were perfect and the peppercorn sauce topped it all off. Our server Diana was amazing!

The relaxing atmosphere of the restaurant helps you take time enjoying absolutely fabulous fine dinner perfectly cooked, with extremely tender steaks topped of with detailed side dishes to enjoy slowly. It melts in your mouth. We waited 1 1/2 years to enjoy the restaurant from forwign country and they gladly took us in early at request. I would very much suggest it for a splendid meal with enjoyable people.

Very positive experience I went to Steak Club Leidse on Wednesday 20th of August at 17:30. I really enjoyed my dinner here. The music was nice, not too loud. I had the carpaccio as a starter which was good, but not special. As the main course I had a dry aged cote de boeuf which was excellent. You can tell they care about their produce. The butter sauce (bearnaise I believe) was good, even though I mostly enjoyed my steak without any sauce. For dessert I had their cheesecake with a Clover Club cocktail on the side. The cocktail was very nice paired with the cheesecake. The cheesecake itself might just be the best I've had, ever. I confirmed with the staff that it was made in-house, which it was. Absolutely amazing. The staff were very kind and welcoming, thank you for the nice reception. It's a shame I don't live close to Amsterdam, because I would definetely dine here on a regular basis if I did. Kind regards, Aron

Compared to other places in the area, the price of a drink in the nightclub is much higher. Imagine, for example, a Red Label and Coke costs €15.00, while in the bars on the other side it's €10.50! But the music is great!

I ate a 350 gram ribeye steak that came well done instead of medium, there were some cute extras that the waiter couldn't explain in English, not recommended at all! I paid 109 euros for a reasonable meal...
