Very nice staff! The girls were so helpful and nice and did everything to make us comfortable. Extremely delicious carbonara. We recommend it!

Nice staff, but not hospitality staff. Plates and glasses are placed on the table. You have to figure out for yourself what is for whom. Tables are sticky and menus are filthy. Ordered tagliatelle ragu. The tagliatelle had been boiled for 15 minutes. So soft that everything sticks together, and the ragu consisted of tasteless blocks. Not recommended.

Disgusting. Carbonara with RAW meat. I did not see it first, but eventually I noticed that the pancetta was completely uncooked. We raised the issue, but the dish was still included on the bill. Also portions were extremely small compared to the price. Never coming here again

Had a great pizza at Frenzi talian Kitchen an Amsterdam. Mark was our waiter, and he was very friendly, attentive, and helpful in making food selections. There is a nice outdoor eating area by the canals with a bridge nearby. It is only a few blocks from the Rembrandt house in museum. Give it a try.

I was excited for this place based on the reviews, however I gained a true impression of this place the moment I walked in This place opens for noon, but I actually don’t know what time it opens, because as soon as I walked in around 6, there was an employee outside the door who didn’t bother to greet us nor look up from his phone. We walked in and asked another employee if we seat ourselves. He then asked us what we wanted to order, but we had no actual food menu in front of us. Then after we got menus and ordered, he proceeded to tell us that the kitchen staff just arrived so it’ll be a little bit ? Food came out 30 minutes later for a pizza. It came out lukewarm and the cheese felt rubbery. Low quality food here. We also did not get any silverware till the pizza came when our server realized we needed them to eat. Also they forgot our apple pie then xame to ask us if everything was okay but we wanted to pay at that moment after waiting and being there for a whole hour for some lukewarm pizza and no apple pie in sight

A great place to eat at before the opera, and there aren't so many options nearby. Maybe service a little slow, but the food was excellent. I'd certainly go there again.

Delicious food... unfortunately, what was served didn't quite match the menu. The service was quick and good. The ambiance... a matter of taste. In any case, it's a good choice if you want to eat before the opera... because it's only a 3-minute walk to the reception.

Second time here in a week and even better this time. Once again Hassan was attentive and polite. Such a lovely guy. Ossobucco was fantastic. Risotto amazing. Even had dessert, which I hardly ever do, but the tiramisu was to die for. Highly recommend

My go-to Italian spot in Amsterdam! I always come back here, especially for their tiramisu honestly one of my favorites!(also the Carbonara pasta) The food is always so good and feels really authentic. And shoutout to Nazrul, who’s always super nice and welcoming! Definitely recommend this place!

The restaurant benefits from a very good location in a pleasant, busy neighborhood with real potential, especially thanks to its terrace. Unfortunately, the outdoor area doesn't do justice to the food. The terrace tables are old and some are poorly secured, the potted plants look neglected, and the overall upkeep could use more attention. The smell of urine on the sidewalk is also unpleasant when dining outside. The same is true for the menu: it's old, worn, and torn in places. This is a shame, as the presentation gives a first impression that doesn't reflect the quality of the food at all. A new, more polished, and better-presented menu is truly necessary. On the other hand, the food was a very pleasant surprise. I ordered the spaghetti gamberetti: the dish was well-presented, the portion was perfectly adequate for an adult, and the pasta was cooked to perfection. The shrimp bisque was well-made, and the whole dish was enjoyable and well-balanced. The waiter was also friendly, available, and helpful, which was much appreciated. Food: 4.5/5 Outdoor setting and surroundings: 1/5 Ultimately, there's a real disconnect between the good quality of the food and the exterior presentation, which doesn't do it justice. With a better-maintained terrace, refurbished furniture, some nice plants, and especially a completely revamped menu, the establishment could really take things to the next level.

A delightful discovery: we stumbled upon it and easily got a table on the terrace overlooking the canals. The dishes are cooked in true Italian style: the linguine carbonara was delicious, as were the veal saltimbocca and the eggplant parmigiana (a gratin of eggplant with Parmesan and tomatoes). The service is excellent, very friendly and attentive, without being intrusive.

A great place near the center. Delicious cod and soup. And the cappuccino was one of the best I've ever had. Calm atmosphere, magnificent view of the canal. Very nice waiters 🙏🙏 A huge plus - open during the day, no need to wait or reserve. Highly recommend!

Great Frenzi pizza and diovola pizza. And great service. We were able to walk in at 930pm and got seated inside immediately. Maha brought us drinks and our food quickly for a perfect post-canal meal.

We received the menu relatively quickly. However, it could definitely use an update. The tables were also quite dirty. It took a while to order, even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. The food, we ordered ravioli, was okay, but nothing special. Nothing remarkable, and the portions were rather small. We were there for about two hours, but weren't asked once if we wanted to order anything else. The staff were hardly ever outside. To get to the restroom, you had to go downstairs, past the kitchen/cleaning room (?). It smelled a bit strong and there were quite a few flies and mosquitoes. We wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

If you don't just go to places that look super modern and beautiful but don't have great food, then this is wonderful. It's nice and pleasant, but not ultra-modern, just normal. But the food was amazing, including the pizza. And we Italians don't say that about everyone. The tiramisu was also top-notch, and everything was perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented! We were seated and waited 2 hours for our entree or additional beverage service. We were told that the board featuring the ravioli of the day was one thing, the server told us another and my meal didn’t match either option.

Frenzi used to be a great spot, but recent visits have been disappointing. The food quality no longer matches the high price point, and the service has slowed down significantly. Shoutout to the one server who was working her hardest, but she clearly needed more support. It’s an amazing location, and I hope they can turn things around.

We sat down at a dirty table that they wiped after we got our drinks, the food was flavourless and bland, felt like the servers did not enjoy being there, the drinks did not taste like there supposed to especially the mojitos! Do not recommend!

We had a delicious meal. There were four of us, and we were glad we had a reservation because it was completely full! The service wasn't exactly smooth sailing because of this, but they did their absolute best to keep up with the crowds. Kudos to the kitchen, because the busyness didn't detract from the quality at all. Delicious papardelle with wild boar, and the others unanimously ordered saltimbocca. It all tasted incredibly good. Generous portions, and friendly people. We look forward to our next opportunity to visit.

Great Italian restaurant. Perfect before a performance at the Stopera (kitchen opens early). Reservations recommended, especially for the performance. Friendly service. One minor downside: the espresso was cold (a shame, as it is of good quality).

What a pleasure it was to have lunch here! The café is situated on a quiet corner and has a sunny terrace where you can relax. The menu offered a wide variety: from healthy bowls to artisan sandwiches. I chose a quinoa salad with salmon and a fresh orange juice, both of excellent quality. The service was prompt, attentive, and cheerful. The atmosphere was relaxed, with soothing acoustic music playing. The tables were neatly set and the chairs comfortable. The decor was fresh and contemporary with plenty of greenery. Everything exuded professionalism. It felt as if every detail had been carefully considered.

Shrimp as a starter, very tasty, a bit spicy. Bruschetta was fine, not exceptional. The Frenzi pizza was very tasty; I would order it again. A major drawback was the dirty restrooms. Otherwise, a great restaurant!

We spontaneously went to the restaurant one weekday evening and were able to sit down immediately. The service was generally attentive and friendly, the food was served quickly and was delicious. The carbonara was prepared traditionally, without cream, and was also tasty. Our only criticism was that the plates were noticeably worn despite the higher price of the food and drinks – it doesn't look very nice when the edges of the plates are already chipped in places. Nevertheless, we would eat there again.

A small and cozy Italian restaurant. The service was friendly and the food was delicious. The truffle pizza was generously sprinkled with truffle, and the saltimbocca was delicious. For dessert, we had two large slices of Tiramisu. Drinks included an aperitif, wine, and water. Conclusion: a good, cozy, and delicious meal.

Despite having a reservation, we had to wait half an hour for a table. The pasta was sweet. The toilet was broken; the door wouldn't close, and the toilet wouldn't flush. The place was packed. Tourists only eat here once, which I understand. The staff is friendly and helpful.
