Come here every time I go to the opera, food is quick and really tasty. Wines are nice and the atmosphere is always good. It’s very small which adds to the cosyness. Very good bang for your buck

What a pleasure it was to have lunch here! The café is situated on a quiet corner and has a sunny terrace where you can relax. The menu offered a wide variety: from healthy bowls to artisan sandwiches. I chose a quinoa salad with salmon and a fresh orange juice, both of excellent quality. The service was prompt, attentive, and cheerful. The atmosphere was relaxed, with soothing acoustic music playing. The tables were neatly set and the chairs comfortable. The decor was fresh and contemporary with plenty of greenery. Everything exuded professionalism. It felt as if every detail had been carefully considered.

Shrimp as a starter, very tasty, a bit spicy. Bruschetta was fine, not exceptional. The Frenzi pizza was very tasty; I would order it again. A major drawback was the dirty restrooms. Otherwise, a great restaurant!

We spontaneously went to the restaurant one weekday evening and were able to sit down immediately. The service was generally attentive and friendly, the food was served quickly and was delicious. The carbonara was prepared traditionally, without cream, and was also tasty. Our only criticism was that the plates were noticeably worn despite the higher price of the food and drinks – it doesn't look very nice when the edges of the plates are already chipped in places. Nevertheless, we would eat there again.

A small and cozy Italian restaurant. The service was friendly and the food was delicious. The truffle pizza was generously sprinkled with truffle, and the saltimbocca was delicious. For dessert, we had two large slices of Tiramisu. Drinks included an aperitif, wine, and water. Conclusion: a good, cozy, and delicious meal.

Despite having a reservation, we had to wait half an hour for a table. The pasta was sweet. The toilet was broken; the door wouldn't close, and the toilet wouldn't flush. The place was packed. Tourists only eat here once, which I understand. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I loved the ragú and the risotto. Both were smooth, silky, intense and fulfilling. Alongside the Brut, with its sharp flavor, everything complemented each other perfectly.

The burrata with the focaccia was super nice. Creamy, fresh and welcoming. The mushroom risotto afterwards was great, really really good.

The atmosphere is calm and the waiter was very friendly. Unfortunately, they had to change our food because it was so salty it was impossible to eat. The service was very, very slow despite the restaurant being almost empty. The price was moderate, but not in line with the quality of the food.

Directly on the corner from our accommodations so had to try. Great ambience and menu is small but ideal. Started with the bruschetta- fresh and lovely. Had the linguini carbonara which was lovely. Husband had the Frenzi pizza which was divine! Fresh baby tomatoes & basil. Prices aren’t cheap and water was purchased but we loved the vibe - glass of wine and calm meal kinda night.

Excellent Italian food! The pasta was perfectly cooked with pesto, and the margherita was also very light. Excellent service, too!

Very tasty food, not very warm, could have been warmer. Service was smooth, we received the wrong wine, which was quickly corrected. The table was a bit too high in relation to the chairs. The toilet needs some maintenance. There wasn't a push-through grille... a bit dirty.

Tried to make online reservations through google maps reservation tab but the place showed no spaces available for 7:30-8. We called and got an outside table for 8:30. Place was pretty much empty when we arrived so not sure about the online booking. At first the service was very slow. One person came to start our order with drinks as we wanted separate checks and another came to continue with some confusion on what was going on. We ordered focaccia bread as a starter. Looking forward to it, all it was is a pizza. A bit of a let down. The entrees were good and decent portions. My eggplant was piping hot! We all enjoyed the food. The Primitivo wine was excellent for €30 It was a nice quiet night on the streets with no smokers near us 👍🏼

This restaurant was wonderful. The menu had a nice variety and everything we tried tasted delicious. The service was quick and the staff were very welcoming. The place was clean and had a cozy feel making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. I would happily visit again

Very good Italian restaurant. We had a pizza and a pasta dish, both of which were excellent. The ingredients were very good and the portions were generous. From the terrace, you have a beautiful view of the Amsterdam canals.

The food was good, but not what you ordered: if you order prawns and get scampi... the same with burrata and you get mozzarella... Too bad. The restroom (for both women and men) didn't have toilet paper. So, best to wash your hands thoroughly after wiping your poop with your bare hands, because you have no other choice.

I ate at Frenzi yesterday with a few friends, and it was a very positive experience. It's a cozy place with delicious food. The service was also excellent, and we received our food very quickly. I definitely recommend it.

They were nice but completly messed up Our Orders and mixxed up Our dishes. Then while paying they charged us the wrong items, even though we told them what we ordered. They did not charge us for anything that we did not order but only one of uns got charged with the right dish. The food itself was ok but the Service wasn't good.

Used to be good, I loved coming here and eating great food by the canals. However, recently that hasn't been the case due to long waiting times. Last time I was there, I had to leave after 15 minutes since nobody took my order. I remember waiting for a while a year ago too, the previous time I was there.

Came from Canada go visit my sister and this place was on our travel itinerary as their last 4 posts were advertising an Aperol spritz’s purse. There was indeed no Aperol spritz purse and instead we just paid way too much for a mediocre Aperol spritz. I’m in digital marketing myself and know that their advertising violates the Dutch advertising code and BCM. Not something I care enough to report tho. If you’re coming here for the fun drinks they don’t exist, go somewhere worth your while!

We waited over an hour for our food, and unfortunately, it wasn't even fully served. The service seemed unmotivated and unfriendly, which further dampened the mood. In our opinion, the restaurant's price isn't justified—the experience and quality don't match the price. It was particularly annoying that the bill included items we didn't even get. Overall, a disappointing experience.

This restaurant is a little gem, not very big, but I can assure you it's meticulously prepared, with cuisine that will leave you speechless. Once you've been, you'll definitely go back.

Would have given 3 or 4 stars based on the food, but the lack of service prevents me from giving anything higher than 2. The two servers were confused about who should attend to our table so effectively no one was responsible. There are only 10 tables inside, it shouldn't be this difficult. The manager paid no attention. He left in the middle of the evening to get something from his other restaurant. Two thirds of the wine offerings were unavailable on a Friday evening. He needs to find a new line of work. Look elsewhere.

The food saved this review from 2 stars. Staff needs to be better trained and the manager needs to pay much better attention to his restaurant. It felt like amateurs running a business. We were on the verge of walking out before a server finally acknowledged us. With only 10 small tables inside this shouldn't be difficult. View of the canal is OK but nothing great. More than half the wine list was unavailable on a Friday night. They have potential but have a way to go to be recommend.

What a great evening at Frenzi Amsterdam! 💛 My boyfriend and I went here for dinner and were really surprised by the atmosphere, the friendly service and the delicious food. You immediately feel that everything here is done with attention. Our favorite? Without a doubt the carpaccio, super fresh. But the rest of the dinner was also great: beautiful Italian flavors, nice wine and a relaxed setting in the middle of Amsterdam. A place where you want to come back again. 🍷🍝 Grazie Frenzi!

My friend's food was very good. Mine was not; it tasted unseasoned and unsalted. The waiter was barely visible. But the atmosphere was fantastic. I would suggest ordering only the tomato-based dishes.

Yesterday I tried to have a cup of coffee here at what is in itself a nice location! Sat for over 20 minutes and tried to order something, without success. The staff was only busy with the table next to me where 2 ladies were having a photo shoot of and with the food. I tried twice to get the attention of the staff, but they seemed to have blinders on for the nicer table next to me. I walked away after 20 minutes and still no one noticed anything, very unfortunate

We had a lovely afternoon at Frenzi - you’ll find it tucked right along a peaceful canal near the Amstel, a perfect little spot to sit back and watch the world go by (spoiler alert: Space Invader's AMS_13 is veeeeery close to this place). The weather was great, so we grabbed a table outside and just enjoyed the relaxed vibe and beautiful surroundings. I went for the carbonara, and it was a good choice. My boyfriend had the pizza Diavola - brought a nice spicy kick. We both left happy, definitely full and ready to search for the next Invader 👾

We were in the mood for dessert this afternoon and we decided to give Frenzi w try ! 🙂‍↔️ My Husband ordered the Tiramisu ☕️ and said it was amazing he was very satisfied However my Apple Pie wasn’t it tbh 🥧 I wouldn’t recommend it

We waited 40 minutes for two beers even though there were hardly any tables occupied. Luckily we didn't order anything to eat.

Cozy restaurant with a beautiful view over the Amstel. The service was very friendly, and the food very tasty, fresh and of good quality. We had Lentil soup which was tasty and beautifully presented with warm focaccia and fresh basil. The Veggie sandwich was delicious, with lots of grilled vegetables and hummus, highly recommended. We had not been here before but will definitely come back!

I recently enjoyed a delicious dinner at a charming Italian restaurant. The food was absolutely fantastic – fresh, flavoursome and lovingly prepared. Every course took me to Italy, from the perfectly cooked pizza to the creamy tiramisu at the end. The service was friendly and attentive, although a bit slow here and there. The staff were helpful and polite, but the pace was a bit slow. Fortunately, the quality of the food and the relaxed atmosphere made up for it.

Excellent food; aubergine parmesan & veal entres were both delicious with a side of bread. Atmosphere is rustic and pleasant. Busy staff were excellent trying their best to keep up during a busy evening.

I got pizza 🍕 it's yummy 10/10 And royal ginger ale 10/10 I recommend it 👌

Nice and great for a quick lunch. Excellent caprese with strong and decisive pesto. We decided to go back because it was in an excellent central location. Girl who we later discovered was from Belluno but who spoke excellent English Keep it up. Drinks and sandwiches at a more than acceptable price for being in Amsterdam.

The worst coffee I drank in Amsterdam. I asked a waiter about it, she acted like all is alright. Pasta was okay, but not more. I can't say it's worth money, since I cook at home a better carbonara. Was really not happy I went there.

We were originally going to have dinner with 7 ladies, but on the day itself I called to let them know that 5 were coming, which was no problem. It was quiet, and at first we were helped quickly and friendly. However, we always had to ask for something to drink. The food was fine, but not special. After the main course the plates were left standing even though we had finished eating, and this also happened at another table. Even when we ordered coffee and tea, the plates were still on the table, and the drinks were simply added. We stacked the plates ourselves to make room. The staff was mainly busy chatting behind the bar. I have a lot of experience in the catering industry and this behavior of the staff frustrated me enormously. A tip: first remove the dirty plates from the table before you even give the dessert menu. That's why we didn't tip. Not worth repeating for us.

Pitiful service… a very long wait… The pizzas were nevertheless good, the pasta really not great.
