Delicious cheese, cocktails at great prices, and the waitress/owner was super friendly. Side dishes for the fondue can be ordered as desired and don't cost extra. All in all, a great experience :))

The fondue was absolutely delicious, and the whole experience was amazing. The waiter and the chef were especially kind, attentive, and lovely, which made the evening even better. I would 100% come back!!! Also, it was extremely hot outside, but luckily they had air conditioning, so the fondue didn’t turn into a full survival challenge.

We ate delicious cheese fondue; charming Luka brought plenty of bread, vegetables, and wine. It was a warm day on June 22nd; we had a lovely meal outside. Next time we will come back to try the meat fondue. The wine is also exquisite! Highly recommended.

Great service!!! We had the shrimps, as a Spaniard, it reminded us to Spanish gambas al ajillo (very good), and the meat fondue, my parents expected it on oil but it was all cooked on broth. We loved it and they let us take the broth home. It was my mom’s 60s birthday, we had a lot of fun and the service was top tier.

Nice place, and nice staff. Did have to wait 1h 20minutes for our main to arrive and some groups who arrived after us were served their mains before us, so that doesn't bode well for the staff, it wasn't particularly busy either (Sunday night). Besides that, nice atmosphere tho, but not sure that the classic fondue was actually proper authentic, didn't have that comforting "dry-wine/brandy" flavour I normally enjoy unfortunately, and also wasn't super cheesy if I'm honest. I guess everyone does it different, probably wouldn't go back, but it was a relaxed simple evening. 5/5 for atmosphere, AngelllBoys were there and I felt so special.

Wonderful meal and fantastic atmosphere. We are Americans who came to Amsterdam for harry styles. We didn’t plan anything and mostly relied on word of mouth and reviews to find restaurants that felt authentic without feeling touristy. When we wandered in, we immediately knew we had fallen in love. The food was delicious and the dessert scroppino was divine. I would recommend this spot for tourists and locals alike. On Thursday we tried something new. Fondue & Fondue on the Overtoom. Cozy, somewhat old-fashioned interior, friendly welcome. A nice glass of cava with bread. Then as a starter: a generous shrimp cocktail made with Dutch shrimp and tasty piripiri prawns. Then the fondue: a pot full of delicious cheese and a world of things to dip into it: bread, cauliflower, broccoli, mushrooms, etc. Accompanied by a good Chablis at a reasonable price. Then a dessert of various cheesecakes. A cognac afterwards and coffee. Satisfied: good food and drinks, and excellent service. With a friendly bill. Worth the effort.

My girlfriend and I went to Fondue & Fondue last night. The truffle cheese fondue was absolutely fantastic, as were the truffle carpaccio as a starter and the chocolate fondue for dessert. We ordered the latter with milk chocolate (a departure from the norm), which wasn't a problem at all, and it was served promptly. The service was consistently fast and incredibly friendly. Speaking German with the staff was also no problem; everyone did their best to make our visit as pleasant as possible. Highly recommended. The restaurant deserves more than 4.3 stars; some of the reviews here are really questionable. We had a truly perfect evening there. Absolutely recommended!

I Went to eat there with a girlfriend and the people who work there sat outside the whole time so if we wanted something to drink we had to go outside to ask and when we wanted extra food he was surprised that we didn't have enough and insulted us. It was very unfortunate I didn't like it

We had a delicious meal, with a choice of three cheese fondues, something for everyone. It did get quite noisy though (it was a Saturday night), and perhaps remove a few tables because the otherwise super friendly waiters often bump into you.

I have lived in Amsterdam for over a year. This is probably the first amazing meal, I have had here. Everything was amazing. The cheese fondue, the broth one too. I will be back many times and will bring all of my visitors here. I cannot get over how tasty everything was. Including the service our server was amazing and when she was busy another guy would check on us. This is must experience restaurant!!!

The cheese fondue was delicious, with plenty of fresh veggies, yummy sautéed mushrooms, crunchy bread and tiny pickled gherkins to dip in the abundant melted cheese. Even their berries sorbet was super. The restaurant is cosy and the staff very attentive and friendly. Very nice place for cheese lovers - but not only, they also have meat fondue and a chocolate version as dessert. We loved the nice 0% alcohol bubbles and the Pinot grigio, and even the decaf coffee was really good. Highly recommended.

The Fondue&Fondue owners and workers are very welcoming, smile and even joke while waiting on you and you can tell they are proud of their delicious dishes as they should be. We shall return!

You can have a truly delicious cheese fondue here, and if you prefer not to, there are other fondues as well. It's a charming restaurant. You can order a starter, main course, and dessert for a fixed price, or just a main course is also an option. Reservations are highly recommended.

If you love fondue this place is for you. And if you have never had it this is a great place to go to try it. We went as a group of 4 and ordered the cheese and the meat fondue. Definitely recommend this approach so you can sample it all. The salad had a creamy dressing if you like that. The tomato soup was excellent. The Caprese salad was great - pesto heavy. Chocolate fondue is a must.

Great place. The food is great but it is outshine by the staff. This was one of our most enjoyable meals in Amsterdam. They went out of their way to make the meal special for our kids.

Booked for a nice dinner at Fondue, ordered immediately but was not helped further, the service is very good at looking at the floor, walls and ceiling, as one of the first in and last served, some iceberg lettuce dry without sauce in a bowl, the extra sausage offered is salty cheap supermarket sausage, the fondue is fine, sufficient bread and other side dishes after complaining a lot, the chef came to say sorry that was it

Unfortunately, we didn't have time for an appetizer or dessert this time because we had a concert to attend, but we'll definitely be back to try those too. We found it through Social Deal. The food was delicious. The service was super friendly. It's a bit noisy outside on the terrace, but then again... it's on the Overtoom. We still had a lovely start to our evening on the terrace and then went inside for dinner. We had Dutch cheese fondue. Delicious cheese, vegetables, and bread. Simple, but perfectly fine. The salad was tasty and enough for the three of us. A nice bonus was that the surplus Scroppino was also poured and given to us. We had a lovely evening and a great meal.
