Was there for a wine tasting this time and then stayed for dinner. Was perfect as always.

This restaurant is a “must” in Amsterdam. We simply loved the food and the atmosphere. The special touch was undoubtedly the service. The owner of the restaurant was incredible and helped us choose our dishes and wines, which were the best!

Y para el plato principal tenía la lingüina con gamberi y mi amigo tenía el pappadelle con Ragu. Ambos platos principales eran sabrosos. Gran personal - amable y servicial. We loved our visit to Frizzanteria! We sat at the bar and had wonderful advice from the staff member slicing the cured meat - wine advice and food tips. For starters we shared the salumi Di Rossi e torta fritta - served with hot delicious bread. The perfect start. And for main course I had the linguine con gamberi and my friend had the pappadelle con Ragu. Both main courses were tasty. Great staff - friendly and helpful. Menu available in English.

Hidden gem in Amsterdam South where food is more important than Instagram and where the staff is not only very friendly and hospitable but also has a lot of knowledge of wine and food.

Frizzanteria is without a doubt a hidden gem! The food is truly fantastic – every bite is a culinary experience. The matching wines take the whole to a higher level and are selected with care. What really completes the experience is the excellent service. The owner is incredibly friendly and makes you feel welcome immediately. All together, Frizzanteria is an absolute must for anyone who loves good food, delicious wine, and a warm atmosphere. This is a place you will want to come back to again and again!

We were pleasantly surprised by this great Italian restaurant. Open only in the evening normally by reservation but they took us very kindly without reservation. The staff were really very friendly, the one who served us spoke French giving us good advice. The restaurant is well located and very pretty, cozy. The dishes were delicious. A menu for 34 euros with starter and main courses. A glass of red wine for 7 euros. Very decent for the quality. I recommend this restaurant if you like Italian and well-cooked food.

Great spot a bit tucked away in Amsterdam. Wait staff are always so friendly and genuinely care about your thoughts on the food. Which is no problem as the food is amazing. Appetizers, entrees, and desserts are all top notch. They also have amazing sparkling wines (or non) depending on your taste. Definitely recommend!

Great Italian restaurant in Amsterdam South with authentic Italian dishes and fresh products. Beautiful terrace and friendly service who takes the time to explain everything. Wide range of Italian wines, including some fantastic bubbles. The pasta alla vecchia is an absolute must. We will definitely come back again.

All good with food for adults and service but feel like cheated, charged 1/2 price of adult 2 course meal for simple pasta and an ice cream that was 48euro when no price was mentioned on menu nor advised. I accept my error not to ask, but the price was not an issue, the issue was quality for food for kids. When passing for feedback was advised we are in a poshest part of Amsterdam. Bit disappointed.

I was alone at the start, so you can't really judge the atmosphere. Food seems to me to be authentically prepared with good products. No bread served on the table, not good. There is a panzanella with Tuscan bread on the menu. I wonder how people get real Tuscan bread every day.

Excellent experience. The fixed menus are all sensational and it is difficult to choose between them. The dishes are very well presented and prepared with fresh and tasteful ingredients. The staff is super friendly and prepared to explain the options. Finally, the wine list offers special bubble type of wines you cannot find easily around. Very recommended.

I highly recommend Frizzanteria! Their customer service is second to none. The quality of the ingredients is outstanding, exceeding my expectations! I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service.

Modern and quiet atmosphere, with friendly staff. Chosen the menu Poca Fame, starters were really good and tasty made with fresh ingredients. The vegetarian pastas were great, whereas the meat-based ones below expectations. I do not recommend getting Spaghetti with Ragù d’Agnello, there’s no Bolognese sauce inside (ragù) but very spicy pieces of meat. Desserts on average. Wines on glass were fine. Water is served only bottled (Acqua Panna), 7€ each, which is too high.

The food and drinks are good but unfortunately some of the staff are quite rude. For the second time we had issues with the bill so make sure you go charged correctly.

After 2 days in Amsterdam we ended up here for dinner. One of the worst resturang experience ever! Food took over 1.5hr to get and they had cut the meat in the wrong direction so it was really hard to chew and that with 2 small beers they charged 66 euro and they where upset to leave a receipt at all.

Lovely relaxed vibe and a great concept of the small, medium and large menu. Everything was extremely fresh and full of flavour. Fantastic wine menu as well. Slightly on the expensive side but worth it for a treat.

Everything about this place is great. From the welcome, to the service, to the food. 5 stars all round. Food is delicious and fresh. The pairing of the wine to each dish is bang on. Dishes are of a good size and you won't leave dissapointed

Mooi ingericht restaurant, het was iets rustig dat scheelt wel in de sfeer waarschijnlijk. Een concept met verschillende menu varianten met klassiekers maar ook innovatieve gerechten. Heerlijk gegeten! Enige opmerking is dat de tagliata iets te ver was. Misschien uitvragen hoe gasten het graag bereid hebben Leuke vlotte bediening. Heerlijke drankjes kortom voor herhaling vatbaar

We decided to have a birthday dinner celebration in this restaurant, and we have an excellent experience, especially with the kind help of Paola and her staff; which made this event very special. From the decoration, nice ambiance, refreshing drinks and delicious food, but most importantly, with the excellent service and friendly staff, which epitomizes what a truly homy resturant is all about. We do recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a great time including delicious food, cozy ambience, very affectionate staff not to mention the friendliest hosts ever!

It was delicious meal in a nice atmosphere. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everybody left the table pretty happy and satisfied.

You may have a good meal here, but it is customer and especially child unfriendly. On King's Day I asked if my four-year-old daughter and I could pee here, but they said they didn't. Then I said in a calm tone that it is mandatory for pregnant women and children to urinate, after which (I think) the owner said that she was considering it at first, but now she no longer wanted to because of my aggressive?? show. Just very unfriendly. How can you refuse a 4 year old child? Bah! A bad aftertaste on a nice day. There was hardly anyone on the terrace and I even offered to pay. Then she started talking about how there is already enough misery in the world. Indeed. So why refuse a child? My daughter is now in the car with me and still doesn't understand. Unbelievable in a neighborhood like the south.

The food was great, dishes were good as size as well. Everyone was really friendly, but service was a bit slow which is okey as well if you want to enjoy your night instead of eat and run. Regu was delicious and meatballs were really soft and great with the sauce.

Heel lekker gegeten met zeer vriendelijke bediening. Smaken zijn heel goed en heel smaakvol. Dit is een aanrader en komen ook regelmatig in sterrenrestaurants, die een mooier opmaak hebben maar de smaak bij Frizzanteria is minimaal even goed.

Nice restaurant, friendly service and good decor, but: not serving tap water is just greed. Too bad because that is not necessary with the already high prices!

Nice welcome, tables very close to each other, no privacy. The Meatballs as a starter were nothing special at all unfortunately and served on a napkin like a traditional "bitterbal". Pasta was good so is the wine. The serve NO tap water at all, not even after ordering a bottle of water for 7 Euro. Not even a glass of water, it was boldly denied. Too bad. Bread for 6,50 Euro. No soap in toilets, only cold water. Too bad.

We were pampered in a wonderful atmosphere. Friendly host and hostess, service responded well to everything. Spumantes and proseccos come from a special winery. Il parcellari, the red wine is also recommended. We were 6 people and chose to put various starters on the table. That was amazing; very diverse, delicious flavors. Then an intermediate course of pasta and main course: fish and game. Delicious dessert and limoncello. Complete evening in a wonderful Italian atmosphere. We will be back!

Five stars for the shrimp pasta🦐 Shrimps taste super fresh, and the seasoning for the pasta is perfect!!!! Love it. Only Italians and Chinese can cook noodles such good🥹However, I don’t like the meat for the daily special. I don’t know, just don’t like the sauce and the side food, tasting off. Also, the waiter didn’t ask me the doneness of the steak. However, I told them I don’t like the meat, and they gave me the free dessert for the compensation. The dessert was nice. Next time, I will come back and only order pasta😍And, paying attention they charged bread for 6+ euros.( No one told us it is extra charge, and the waitress told us the price was on the menu when we got our bill. I mean a lot of Italian finning dinings didn’t charge for 🥖)

Delicious dinner with friends on New Year's Eve. Choice of different dishes (fish, meat and vegetarian), all of which were very tasty and of high quality. In addition, there is a very pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff in the shop. We will definitely come back to taste the other dishes on the menu!

We reserve dinner for 8:00pm on a Thursday. We decided to chose the Starter and Pasta course, for starter I got the Panzanella classica con Mozzarella. Which is a good size starter, light and delicious. For the Pasta I got the Rigatoni alla Norma con Stracciatella, very nice sauce, with a bit of spice and the amazing Stracciatella. For drink I got the Spice and Lemon sparkler which has a nice presentation and refreshing taste. For dessert we got the affogato which was nice, it was just a smaller than we thought. Servers are very nice and ready to give recommendations. We loved this place and will definitely recommended.

Food was good but not amazing, the waiter was doing his best but also not top notch service. Two things that bothered me in this visit - 1) No tap water available (despite spending over 150euro for two) 2) didn’t have any basic wrap/box to take left over food and made a snarky comment when I said I might not finish the food but would like to take left overs home. Won’t come back.

Food was amazing!!! Friendly staff and atmosphere. Unfortunately we had to change the reservation from 4 to 2 persons because our friends couldn’t make it and they were very nice about it. We had a little table for 2. We are going to be back for sure!

Outstanding location. Very quaint with friendly staff. Italian seafood bistro. The menu has set deals to choose from which was easy to understand. The quality of the food and service was impeccable. Shrimp linguine was fresh, all dente, packed full of flavour. Sweet and sour veg and buratta are served cold and were are fresh and tasty. Great vegetarian and pescetarian dishes available. A variety of cocktails, wines and long drinks available.

What a great place we found near our hotel Park Place. The best food we had all week. We even sent several groups of colleagues there and they all loved it. We are visiting from Texas and we loved the hospitality of the owners which we’re working very hard in the restaurant and making great recommendations on food and lovely wine! We went twice!

I went here once before and it was fine, second time not so. While I was there I felt uncomfortable for the following reasons: The waiter that seated our table was quite rude. When we came in we asked for a table for two and we were told that we could sit at the bar. We asked if we could maybe sit at a table but the waiter told us that it's very normal to sit at the bar in this restaurant. We asked again kindly and he said he would look (mind you the restaurant was almost empty otherwise I would have understood). He didn't look and told us to just sit there. We didn't complain and sat at the bar (I had to move two boxes to sit somewhat comfortable). We weren't off on a great start. Funny thing is that later on two other couples had the same request but they were able to sit at a table. Later we ordered some drinks and food. The food was good and tasty so no complaints about that. But because we were sitting at the bar we could hear all the staffs conversation and discussions, which wasn't very pleasant. Later when we finished eating the owner came to our table and told us that they weren't sure If we finished eating because we didn't follow restaurant etiquette and put our forks next to the plate. This was very belittling because the plates were clearly empty, no food left. I wonder if she would have made that remark if I wasn't 18. I would not go there again! You go to a restaurant not only for the food but also for a good experience.
