10/10 super delicious food, nice atmosphere. Friendly service, the gentleman gave me extra jalapeños on my pizza because I really like spicy. Highly recommended, great service!

The service was friendly, but the pizza wasn't fresh at all. The base and crust were hard; I wouldn't be surprised if it was frozen. The arrabbiata was a pasta with onions and tomatoes, a bit of a shame. Not very Italian.

This is my fourth time here, and it hasn't disappointed me in over two years. Good food, lovely people, and a nice little place.

They were very friendly on the phone and offered us a free pizza for one person! We thought, of course, that was nice and went there to eat. When we arrived, no one came to help us, so we had to sit down somewhere. The Sprite wasn't fizzy, and the pizzas were pre-made. When we went to pay, they tried to charge a friend 22 euros, and it was 16.75! Ridiculous!

The interior is very cozy and has a lovely atmosphere. For the warmer months, you can also sit outside on the terrace overlooking the canal. Service was prompt and very friendly. We really enjoyed the food. I highly recommend the chef's misto if you're in the mood for lasagna, penne, and tortellini. It includes a small portion of lasagna with some penne and spinach-filled tortellini—delicious! No other feedback, so 5 stars on everything! Definitely recommended ❤️

We are a family of 3 adults and we asked if we could sit down. The waitress replied (with a completely cold tone) that if we don't sit down to eat, we should go somewhere else. Rude behavior. Finally -because it was late- we sat down and ordered pizza and noodles, in addition to drinks.

We went to this particular restaurant with two people and the person who took our order told us in a very rude manner that we couldn’t sit down unless we ordered something else! (We got a pizza and something to drink) And after we asked him how it was possible that he wouldn’t let us sit down, he told us in a very rude manner to go across the street to Mc Donald’s to eat! I find this behavior unacceptable and I would not recommend it under any circumstances!

We were briefly visiting Utrecht and stumbled upon this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious! Highly recommended.

Great location right on the Oudegracht canal. Service was fast. The pizzas were okay, but nothing special. Prices are very reasonable for this location.

We sat down for tiramisu and alcohol, and 20 minutes later, a waiter arrived. When we told him what we wanted on the menu, he said we don't serve food here, so go somewhere else. He tried to send us to a place not by the canal. Very poor service.

A real Italian place to eat on the canal. We had a great time, it was a very cozy atmosphere. The service was great, very nice people. The food was a bit simple, but still fine, we enjoyed it very much.

Service: A young waiter who obviously wished he were Italian – unfortunately, he was rude, arrogant, and unattentive. He attempted two or three Italian words, which seemed more forced than charming. It was rather embarrassing. Food: The pizza dough was raw and sticky, the crust soggy. The topping consisted of discount-store toasted ham, and the "hot sauce" served was a Chinese chiracha sauce. Overall, the ingredients were very cheap and the taste was disappointing – although the generation socialized with McDonald's and frozen food might still get their money's worth here. You have to admit, they made an effort; it wasn't raw, and it was salty. Location: TOP – you have to admit. Probably the reason why you can afford a culinary misunderstanding of this kind here. It has nothing to do with Italian cuisine. Paid: €55 for two people. AND as a bonus for tourists: CASH ONLY – supposedly because of a lack of internet connection.

Very unfriendly staff, poorly trained, and lacking in interest. The carpacchio was inedible; it had more mayonnaise and onions on it. We didn't notice the carpacchio, and we didn't get any bread with it. We left it, and then we were yelled at, asking why we didn't eat it? Because it's inedible! Four people at the next table all ordered pizza, and they also said it was the worst pizza ever. Never again from this restaurant.

The food was okay, but not great. The Margherita pizza tasted more like a plain cheese pizza and didn’t seem very fresh. The carbonara was made with cream, which was unusual and not what we expected. When it came time to pay, they said they only accept debit or cash. Credit cards weren’t allowed, which felt a bit sketchy and caused inconvenience. Overall, we left disappointed and wouldn’t go back.

Well, nice on the canal, and very affordable. That says it all. We had a tomato soup, something that is almost impossible to fail, which was unparalleled rancid. The cappuccino was also of very low quality. The service was also quite pushy and food was served from plastic bowls. Not recommended!

personale molto cortese e disponibile, tavoli sia all'interno che lungo il canale, il locale è invitante, ma la pizza ci ha deluso moltissimo: abbiamo provato una margherita, una specie di diavola ed una con il salame, ma la pizza sembra surgelata con l'aggiunta di ingredienti di bassa qualità: ad esempio sulla piccante avevano aggiunto peperoncini jalapeño sott'aceto, l'impasto risulta molliccio e la pizza è stata difficile da digerire.

A super good restaurant! Everyone works really hard here, it really is a well-oiled machine. Compliments for both the kitchen and the service! I had Spaghetti Aglio Olio and my friend had a delicious pizza Quattro Formaggi, everything super fresh and very well prepared. It is also all very affordable. Good location, both on the terrace and inside you can sit comfortably. Five stars more than deserved! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We were welcomed by Marco, place was very loud, mostly young people, nice varied menu. I ordered and enjoyed my pizza. My mum was very sick after eating the salmon.

I don't often leave a review, but this time I have no choice! The location is fantastic, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the food is fresh and full of flavor. The tenderloin in mushroom cream sauce was really excellent! The entire experience – from the atmosphere to the service – without a doubt deserves 5 stars. A great place where you not only eat delicious food, but also receive really good service!

We had a delicious meal, the people were super helpful and very nice. We had the Spaghetti alla Gamba and the pizza stagioni, highly recommended!

After being a vapiano fan for years, I switched to this original and authentic restaurant, in a wonderful location and with friendly staff who always welcome you with open arms. Personally, my favorite dish is the mixed fish dish (called fritto misto on the menu). The fish tastes fresh and is prepared in a wonderful and professional way. The pizzas are also a must to order. The dough is made fresh by hand every day by the pizza chef. It is wonderful to sit with them on the old canal with a view of the Dom Tower. Even in winter it is nice and cozy inside and you can dine in an old beautiful warm wharf cellar. Ps the price-quality ratio is also great, so a pizza will cost you around 14 euros. It couldn't be better!

One of the pizzerias that saves all Spaniards' lives when traveling abroad. Thank goodness they exist all over the world, because local food is nothing out of this world. The pasta was just right and with a very tasty sauce. The place is very romantic for dinner, next to the canal, on the same shore. You can see ducks and seagulls fighting over the food that people throw at them (don't do it) and pleasure boats dodging pedal skates. Very fun because they go up with alcoholic drinks. Don't give these animals food or drink either, they are served ;-). Correct and fast service. The prices, as you know, are high, as it could not be otherwise. Especially the drink. One more thing, as soon as you enter, ask for the menu in Spanish to see if they include it.

Vreselijk! Locatie is wel mooi. De pizza is gewoon een kant en klare pizza van DR. Oetker.. niet lekker, maar voor de sier is er wat kruiden over heen gedaan. Mijn tip is: gewoon een ander pizza restaurant opzoeken.

En el canal, auténtica comida italiana del norte. Servido con bastante rapidez por italianos reales! Por lo tanto, si tienes un desafío lingüístico por hablar solo inglés como yo, espera algunos momentos lentos para traducir. Nos las arreglamos, como cualquiera en Holanda ha encontrado, los idiomas son una barrera baja. Comida - auténtico! (Volvimos dos veces para asegurarnos de que nuestras impresiones iniciales eran correctas.) Servicio, bien. Vino (cuando pudimos traducir 'huise rosse' a tinto, y no una variedad, sino 'toscano') sorprendentemente bueno. Mains, el Marinara Spaghetti fue aún mejor la segunda vez. El penne vegetariano fue definido como "delicioso'! Desert - chocolate Souffe estaba más cerca de pastel de lava de chocolate, pero realmente bien saborizado, y el Tirimasu? Pastel basado en lugar de galleta (una diferencia regional) , pero de nuevo, realmente bien aromatizado. Terminado con el mejor linoncello que hemos tenido fuera de Venecia.

Wat een slechte kwaliteit eten serveren ze hier !! Heerlijke locatie om Italiaans te dineren aan de werf. Vriendelijk personeel. Op dinsdag (13-8) hier met zijn 2tjes gegeten, een ossenhaas in champignonroomsaus, de ossenhaas was net over medium heen en overgoten door saus, niet echt een aanrader. Ook namen we de Misto Del Chef, hierin voorkeur van de penne en tortellini aangegeven in andere sauzen dan gebruikelijk, dat was geen probleem. De penne Arrabbiata gekozen, helaas geen succes. De penne was niet vers en de saus was een waterige tomatensaus. De tortellini in een Gorgonzola gekozen, die was prima, kon wel wat warmer. De lasagne die erbij zit was zeker niet vers en smaakte ook niet zoals een lasagne hoort te smaken. Rondom ons heen werd er enkel lasagne besteld en die dreef in de saus, nu snap ik waarom. Al met al de hoofdgerechten waren niet echt een aanrader. Bij de rekening stonden 3x € 1,- euro toeslag van aanpassing gerecht, erg slecht dat ineens op de rekening staat zonder het van te voren vermeld is. Uiteindelijk met een flesje wijn erbij en beide een special koffie gehad was de rekening ruim € 90,- euro !! Prijs VS Kwaliteit beneden peil !! Nooit meer.

Zelfde ervaring als Corné hieronder beschreef. We wilden een drankje doen en we kregen te horen dat, als we niks te eten bestelden, we weer mochten gaan. Het was half vier in de middag- te laat voor lunch en veel te vroeg voor diner. Als het eten van dezelfde kwaliteit is als de bediening/gastvrijheid dan ga ik daar zeker niet eten!

On Tuesday (13-8) the two of us ate here, a tenderloin in mushroom cream sauce, the tenderloin was just over medium and covered in sauce, not really recommended. We also took the Misto Del Chef, which indicated preference for the penne and tortellini in different sauces than usual, that was no problem. Chosen the penne Arrabbiata, unfortunately not a success. The penne was not fresh and the sauce was a watery tomato sauce. Chose the tortellini in a Gorgonzola, which was fine, could have been a bit warmer. The lasagna that came with it was certainly not fresh and did not taste like a lasagna should taste. Around us only lasagna was ordered and it was floating in the sauce, now I understand why. All in all, the main courses were not really recommended. The bill included 3x € 1 euro surcharge for dish adjustment, very bad that suddenly appears on the bill without it being mentioned in advance. In the end, with a bottle of wine and both had a special coffee, the bill was over €90!! Price VS Quality below par!! Never again.

Me and a friend wanted to eat a pizza here. We weren't very hungry so decided to share a pizza. We were sent away and scolded because, according to the owner, we "didn't have enough money", we were treated in a very disrespectful way, and will NEVER return here!

Very nice atmosphere, right on the canal in Utrecht. Of course very crowded, as it is also an attraction to eat by the water. The food was good and the staff friendly. The prices are a bit higher, but you also pay for the ambience.

Unfortunately a disappointing visit. The pretty location right on the water attracted us to this restaurant. The starter (bread and butter) was barely finished when we received our main course (spaghetti carbonara) after about 10 minutes. These were totally tasteless and not good. We paid as quickly as possible and were gone after 25 minutes.

Let me start off with some of the best things about this restaurant. To start the service was great, barely had to wait for a table and the table was even outside near the canal. The owner was so kind and had our food within minuets. Excellent service. Had a nice meal with my girlfriend. We ate a delicious pizza and, as a starter, a delicious fresh baguette with herb butter. The interior looked very cozy and Italian. The staff was very friendly and spoke good Dutch and English (probably also Italian). I enjoyed the Italian beers on tap and my girlfriend enjoyed the delicious wines. Overall, a super good experience here in Utrecht. This was our third time here and we will definitely be back!

Today I visited Utrecht and decided to stop by a bar restaurant with a beautiful view of the canal. Upon arrival, I asked the owner if I could sit at a table for two. I explained that I initially wanted to have a beer and would consider ordering food later. To my surprise, he informed me that the tables were reserved only for those having a full meal. I accepted the situation calmly and said I would look for another place. However, the owner started yelling at me, telling me to leave in an aggressive and disproportionate manner. His reaction was so exaggerated that everyone around started to look. I was shocked by the lack of professionalism and respect. Later, when I checked the reviews on Google, I discovered that I was not the first person to have this unpleasant experience. I recommend avoiding this place, as the service can be extremely rude and hostile.

Food was ok the rest was great along the canal. I will definitely be coming back here with friends

One of the few places on the canal where the food is not overly expensive. Beautiful seats right on the water and very friendly service. I chose the tortellini with cream and spinach and it was quite tasty, but not exactly fantastic. I would definitely recommend it for those who want to sit by the canal and enjoy the atmosphere, just don't expect too much from the food.

Very sweet (I think owner) who helped us very nicely. Further service also very friendly! Service was fast and incredibly tasty. Of course you are in a busy and popular location here, so waiting longer is part of it, and even before that it was great!

Location was five star. The food was below average. The spaghetti was way over cooked and the sauce tasted like it came from a jar from the grocery store. The pizza was not much better with little flavour. The service was fast, but when we asked our waiter to sit closer to the water we were told “no”. If you’re looking for a beautiful waterfront spot this is it. If you’re looking for quality Italian food go elsewhere!

I have eaten here a number of times now with my boyfriend, the food has always been tasty so far. The staff is friendly and fast in terms of service! The pasta carbonara is definitely recommended, it is wonderfully creamy and tasty. The same goes for the mixed starter, which is fantastic! The restaurant is attractive and tidy, we always had a clean table. So it is highly recommended to enjoy a wonderful evening!
