Super tasty and very nice and cozy. Nice atmosphere, good coffee, friendly staff, nice decor and delicious cake. Banana bread super creamy and one of the best carrot cake! (Van Paais) Also child-friendly. Recommended!

To bridge the gap, we had something to drink and eat here. Been back to Gebrand en Bakker for a long time. We ordered lemonade, carrot cake and two (vegan) ice creams - pecan caramel and blueberry with white chocolate. We also bought bread. They sell bread from Meijer bakery, very tasty and convenient.

Cappuccino with oat milk. Excellent coffee. It’s a bit out of the way. Seems to me a neighbourhood haunt. Very friendly staff.

Had a delicious breakfast here! The food is great, the place is nicely decorated, the staff is super friendly and the espresso is delicious! Definitely come back here.

I had walked past Gebrand en Bakker several times, but never got around to eating there. On the corner of Gerbrand Bakkerstraat (plus points for the pun) is this hidden gem with coffee, tea, tasty sandwiches and other pastries. I had the breakfast deal with granola and fresh fruit. Very tasty! Unfortunately we ran out of Krentjebrij, but got a glass of apple juice instead. Recommended!

The Latte macchiato is delicious.

Telleurstelling. Heerlijk brood, heerlijke thee, goede ijs koffie. Prima. Maar de lunchdeal is veel te weinig en ook het geld niet waard. En als je de soep, tosti en thee los van elkaar besteld ben je goedkoper uit dan de lunchdeal. Dat is geen deal en dat is ook vervelend. De tosti is echt te weinig en iets anders qua brood dan een tosti is er ook niet te kiezen. Als er grotere broodjes / meer variatie komt kom ik zeker terug maar zolang de kaart niet uitgebreid wordt kom ik hier niet meer eten. Jammer. Misschien kom ik nog wel een keer een heel brood kopen.

Lekkere cappuccino gehad, leuke plek midden in de woonwijk met een leuke naam, vriendelijk personeel en allemaal lokale producten. Wat een minpunt is, is het ontbreken van een lekkere filterkoffie i.p.v. Americano.

Beste koffie die ik in tijden gehad heb. Geen toontje bitter of zuur aan op te merken. Zacht en smaakvol.

Wat ontzettend fijn dat het overheerlijke brood van de vorig jaar gestopte Stadsbakker nu alsnog weer te krijgen is! Sfeervolle zaak; letterlijk en figuurlijk een warm welkom meteen bij binnenkomst, met de geur van verse koffie. Kennisgemaakt met Mark; wat een geweldige gastheer. Fantastische zaak en wat een aanwinst voor de buurt!

Leuke tent! Een hele aanwinst voor de straat en als de nieuwigheid eraf is, kunnen ze de hele stad aan!

Wat een mooi stadscadeau is deze plek in onze Gerbrand Bakkerstraat. Koffie in de buurt, om de hoek. Met twee mooie mannen gedreven door betekenis geven. Heerlijke koffie met bonen van het Groningse Koffiestation en andere lokale lekkernijen. Een nieuwe plek voor ontmoeting en onthaasting.

Erg blij met deze mooie en gezellige koffieplek in de buurt! Heb een Moj limonade gedronken en een fantastische brownie gegeten. Leuke Kopenhagen-sfeer binnen en we konden nog fijn op de stoelen voor in de zon zitten

Definitely one of the best cappuccinos I've had in Groningen (and I've been to lots of cafes in ten years here!), plus delicious croissants, and it's ideally located right across the street from a lovely playground. It's also really close to UMCG hospital, but it's tucked away in a leafy residential area, so it's calm and relaxed -- a real oasis!

Topkoffie en een prachtige inrichting. Fijne plek om te zitten, ook met kids! Zowel taartjes voor de volwassenen als lekkers voor de kleintjes. Speeltuin er naast is ideaal :)
