Room ijssalon Groningen in Oud-Noord

I thought I would get a nice sorbet with a delicious cup of coffee. But unfortunately. Ice cream could only be served in a cone or a small bowl, so no sorbet. The flavors of the ice cream were very flat, it seemed like regular vanilla ice cream. This tastes much better at a real Italian ice cream parlour. And I had the Brazilian Americano coffee. This is not the fault of the employees, but that was so sour! And lucky for me: I was on holiday near Groningen, so I won't be there again.

King nice boss but a bit of a feut

I bought an ice cream here once and didn't like it. I didn't think the substance was good and the fruit flavor was mediocre. In the Netherlands and Southern Europe I have often eaten ice cream that I liked much better.

Top ice cream and delicious flavors, if you like sour lemon ice cream then definitely get it here.

Truly the best ice cream spot in Groningen. The scoops admittedly have increased in price but that makes no difference as soon as you take a scoop of their ice cream. Creamy sweetness which is perfectly balanced with flavors that tickle the tastebuds. Ideal location which allows the parlor to be a cozy cafe, cold refuge on a sunny summer's day or a sneaky midnight treat with friends (due to the flexible opening hours). Love the cafe for how it accommodates its patrons. Lovely music in the shop, free flavoured water and a lot of terrace seating!

Banana ice cream and bass ice cream are not tasty, it's my fault, according to the saleswoman. Too bad neighbor, I don't like your ice cream and instead of a friendly response you are fobbed off. Could you work on it and it's not a matter of taste

I try not to give places a low rating, especially when I like a place this much but I truly just had a bad experience. I specifically asked for oat milk with my latte because I am extremely intolerant to lactose, especially milk and yet my latte was served with whole milk. I thought I was mistaken when I tasted my drink and tried to shake it off and thought I was overthinking but as the time ticked away, I started to feel the discomfort and unpleasant reaction that dairy causes and it threw my entire evening off. It just extremely feels disheartening when I am paying so much for a drink and even after specifically asking for a milk alternative, I still got whole milk. This is only one of the problems I had but like I said, I try not to leave bad reviews. we are all humans and we all make mistakes but this is was just sucky:(

Our absolute favorite! The best ice cream parlor in town. We have been here a lot last summer and have taken guests there, everyone is enthusiastic. The first time I thought it tasted a bit strange, because it is so fresh it tastes very different from what you are used to from ice cream. But it's really delicious, I don't want anything else now! In addition, the (coffee) milkshakes are also delicious and the affogato. It's also great that there are always jugs of water that you can take. The only tip/point for improvement would be to place napkins somewhere where customers can grab them themselves.

In de zomer haal ik graag een ijsje bij Room en in het najaar kun je er (aan de Vismarkt) de lekkerste poffertjes krijgen. Ik hoopte dat de poffertjes ook bij dit nieuwe filiaal op de kaart zouden komen, maar helaas overwegen ze daar helemaal mee te stoppen. Wat zou dat zonde zijn! het was bij ons de favoriete snack tijdens een winterwandeling

For a homemade ice cream, it is really nice and loves all the choices. They also serve coffee. Nice place to sit and study too

The thing amazing me the most is how these buddies can work under stress. I tip my hat to them. Let alone the taste of ice-cream and the service once you're inside.

Heerlijk vers ijs! Keuze is er genoeg en een wisselend assortiment, erg leuk en lekker.

I love the ice creams at this place. My favourites are raspberry, pistachio and mango.

Afgelopen jaren door heel Nederland de betere ijssalons bezocht, Room IJssalon hoort hier zeker bij. Heerlijk zacht ijs.

Their soft, flavorful ice creams and drinks are the winner! The cosy and spacious cafe makes you want to come again.

It's new but it has amazing ice cream, super tasty. It also has a nice terrace, ideal now for summer with view to Noordenplantsoen. They also give water for free and are super nice. I saw last time that they also have some cakes, looking forward to trying! Last but no least, the coffee milkshake is quite refreshing and you can order it decaf!

Seriously great ice cream, in a bright and friendly coffee shop, is what I needed for a slow Sunday. ✓ Exceptional ice cream. I was already sold seeing the containers swirl the creamy delights, but this was one of those times where the presentation is not just for show. I had the chocolate (one has to start with chocolate, right?) and I intend to try all the flavors. ✓ Very good coffee. No complaints, I had an Americano and next time I hope to gauge the barista's foam making skills too. ✓ Sitting outside is lovely. Open space, bright and calm day, friendly faces around; I felt good being there. ✓ Lovely staff and service. See you next time.

Ben hier geweest met m'n dochter, ik wist dat de zaak daar nog niet zo lang zat, maar wel goede recensies had Ik ben diabeet maar voor een keer mag het, nou je weet haast niet welke smaak je moet kiezen....alles is lekker citroen en bosbessenyoghurtijs gekozen Mijn dochter koffie, pistache en ook citroen heerrrrlijk wil hier elke dag wel heen de citroen is echt citroen heerlijk zuur...Zo genoten 😇👍

Eindelijk goed ijs in Groningen🫡

Groningen heeft er een pareltje bij! Na een wandeling door het Noorderplantsoen word je door het vriendelijke personeel geholpen aan een welverdiende affogato of een heerlijke ijskoffie. Het ijs is super romig, vers en verfrissend. Niet te zoet! Dat maakt de smaak alleen maar lekkerder. Leuke plek ook, echt onverwacht! Ik kom graag terug en raad anderen echt aan het te proberen.

Super lekker ijs (had frambozenijs en joghurt/bosvruchtenijs met slagroom). Heerlijk! Aardige vrolijke bediening en lekker buiten kunnen zitten op prettige stoelen. Aanwinst voor de Korrewegwijk👍🏻👍🏻!

Helemaal blij met deze nieuwe ijssalon. Heerlijk ijs. Alleen wel erg jammer dat de bolletjes steeds kleiner worden. Mijn dochter had 1 bolletje, ik 2 maar de ijsjes waren even groot. En de prijs is wel aan de hoge kant dan. Zonde

Super lekker eigen gemaakt ijs. En de koffie is ook 1 van de beste uit de stad. Goede sfeer en erg aardige eigenaren en personeel.

Lekker ijs, goeie romige smaak. Wel zeer kleine portie die ik kreeg… Zeer druk, omdat het nieuw is. Je zit lekker op het terras in de zon en schaduw.

Ja echt wel top ijsje gegeten! Soms een beetje druk met de avonduren, maar dat is het zeker waard! Je kan net een beetje pech hebben als je smaak nog nattig is, dan moeten ze even roeren. Maar niet getreurd er is dan vast nog een lekker alternatief. Al met al 5 sterren van jepster bam
