Gezonde Planeet in Centrum

This is the best cafe I have found in Groningen. The coffee is consistently very good, the milk texture perfect, and the interior design is attractive and characterful. The atmosphere is very relaxed - you can have coffee with friends, go for a date, or study. The baristas are helpful and efficient. The prices are also reasonable.

I thought I would get a nice sorbet with a delicious cup of coffee. But unfortunately. Ice cream could only be served in a cone or a small bowl, so no sorbet. The flavors of the ice cream were very flat, it seemed like regular vanilla ice cream. This tastes much better at a real Italian ice cream parlour. And I had the Brazilian Americano coffee. This is not the fault of the employees, but that was so sour! And lucky for me: I was on holiday near Groningen, so I won't be there again.

Aangename verrassing in hartje Groningen. Zeer vriendelijke bediening door slechthorenden wat probleemloos verloopt. Je voelt dat ze waarderen dat je hier komt. Heerlijke koffie en ontbijtje. En die rust. Echt een aanrader. Weer eens wat anders.

Disappointed. We ordered the lunch for 2 persons, 19€ per person, the quantity and quality doesn't reflect the price. Everything arrived in a portion a 1 person, that we had to share in two. The bacon was 5 grams of "bacon" sprinkles, ham (low quality) was just one light slice to share in half, salad was only rocketta without sauce, butter is only a square of 2cm2, jus glass super small... and so on. We left the place being hungry. Only the lentils soup was good and in a fare quantity. Seeing what other people ordered, I think it worth better to order single dishes than sharing this "2 person" plate. The place is nice, but there is a room for improvement.
