A restaurant overlooking the square in front of the university. I ordered a cannelloni and the taste was delicious and fresh

Sat on the terrace. My son wanted a sandwich, but he said we would just have a look and then everything could come at the same time. I had already ordered drinks. In the meantime I went to the toilet. Toilet paper all over the floor, soap on and upon entering I saw the cook with the bun happily licking his fingers in the kitchen. Done right away. So incredibly dirty when that happens in a kitchen. We decided to move on after we finished our drinks. My son's sandwich is coming... Apparently it didn't arrive clearly. We decided to pay. Not a waiter in sight. And after a long wait, we went inside. All the staff are inside, basically doing nothing. Not a second time for us.

1 euro extra for oat milk. A man walking around lost, joking around and having fun with his car. Soggy, overpriced Kaiser rolls and slow service. No.

The restaurant is not actually open after 16:00 on mondays, despite what they say on Google maps and other websites. The food however tastes pretty good for the price.

Excellent meal via social deal. Paid a total of €15 in addition to the vouchers for a beer and cocktail. Not super luxurious or culinary high-quality, but just nice and cozy.

Not worthy of the name 'restaurant'. Except for one person, no one speaks Dutch. Dishes are not in proportion in terms of price/quality.

Friendly service, but dishes could have come a little faster. Delicious food for a reasonable price. Beautiful and cozy location.

Innovative and tasty sandwiches at affordable prices

I was a little worried about this place because of the other reviews but it came recommended from our hotel concierge. I'm glad I listened to her! Super friendly staff and food came out quickly. The sweet dishes such as American pancake and French toast were really good. I had the corner bakery breakfast which was fine. Croissant was good. Will definitely come back.

The breakfast we ate was satisfactory. A bit dirty though. Unless you ask them to clear the table of the previous customer's leftovers, they won't do it themselves! The coffees were cold when they brought them.

Expensive and not what you expect.

Decent location, relaxed terrace overlooking the square for good weather days. Good value for money, the dishes are good and generous! Adapted to different diets, vegan, allergic... I recommend ! Especially on sunny Sundays! 😎

I unfortunately didn't have the best experience here. I ordered an avocado and egg sandwich with salmon, but the avocado was incredibly bitter which made it almost impossible to finish. Some seasoning on the eggs would have been nice as well. I don't think I will be visiting again.

Had brunch here with a friend, we ordered scrambled eggs and eggs Benedict. The eggs from the eggs Benedict were gross - tasted like they’d been pre cooked and placed in a preservative water. They were cold and had a weird texture, but the hollandaise sauce covered it up well. Also bacon was bacon bits instead of the pictured strips of bacon. Scrambled eggs also weren’t very warm. Portion size was good, prices were reasonable. Between our chairs on the patio was a spill from orange juice? Staff was incredible friendly, and service was quick. Inside was very cute, and bathroom was clean.

I don't like ordering only via QR code, but that may be just me. Furthermore, lunch was okay. Not very special.

Unsolicited and unintentional photos were taken of our party by the staff. This without any reason, with the excuse that the owner had to do this. This is unacceptable.

Long wait and overpriced for what you get.

Placed order for lunch, then after half an hour asked if the order was almost ready. To this the answer was that it was almost ready. Meanwhile, there were a few tables with customers who were later than us and had already received their lunch. After waiting another 30 minutes, the food finally arrived. Waited an hour for our lunch even though after 30 minutes they said it was almost ready. They just didn't dare to say that they forgot the order. Poorly organized here, staff was not very friendly either.

Waited half an hour for an order (2 beers) while we had asked twice where the order was. However, more than enough staff on a half-full terrace. Could be better.

Had a nice seat and certainly had a good meal! Delicious Weissen beer. Great :)

What a nice place!!!The spicy chicken sandwich was delicious. The rosé also tastes great, especially on that lovely terrace. You can spend an afternoon there. Added nachos, nice ladies in the service. My afternoon couldn't have been worse 😍🌞🌞🌞

Friendly staff and delicious menu. The Vegan dishes in particular stand out. Lots of choice. Furthermore, the well-known quality that you can expect from a Corner Bakery. I'll definitely return.

Specialty of the house: making cheap deals with unmentioned surcharges a lot less attractive. For example, did you buy a social deal here? Then surcharges apply! E.g. pay extra for the main course. This is not stated online. See picture. Would you like fries with you? Pay extra! Deception? Scam? In any case, it is not neat. You will only see the surcharge in the restaurant itself if you study the appendix in the menu. You can never know in advance. Some kind of anti-social deal, so to speak. Explanation from the chef: "I didn't know that the online offer did not mention these surcharges. But I will look into it. Now please just pay. Yes, also the surcharges." So we won't be coming back there again. NOT RECOMMENDED STAY AWAY.
