Gloria Restaurant in Jordaan

I have booked a table and then I also received a email confirmation, but when we arrived in front of the restaurant it was closed, this is unacceptable!

Very slow service. Almost an hour of waiting until the food came. A Milanese came with a piece of paper inside. They charged us 3.75 for a coffee that was a ridiculous amount. Very disappointing.

Food was ok. The charcuterie were some slices of luncheon meat and cubes of cheese. Not worth €33. The sirloin steak was a thin slice of beef. Nothing special. The food was not bad but twice overpriced

Service was slow, Food took almost an hour to be served. Could have been an off night. But I have had better meals and experience in Amsterdam.

Delicious homemade food. Very fresh ingredients. We had the secreto and Milanese and were delighted! Friendly staff and owner that explained the dishes. Highly recommend!

Small cozy restaurant. Food is very nice. Went there for company Christams Party and it was 10/10.

Waves of sensation, from top to bottom. Beyond the scope, tiramisu to soften. Was it love at first sight? most definitely hooked. Gloria, you mystical beauty, marrying you, I should. Compliments to chef, dressing the nightfall. We'll gladly return, if not, completely in thrall.

A great discovery!!! A non pretentious place with a sort of menu difficult to find in Amsterdam. The italian lunch menu was fantastic, top quality for a reasanable price. I do live in Amsterdam and I certainly know that is difficult to find such a quality home made food, specially for lunch. 10 points also to the staff

Excellent dinner after a busy day of sightseeing! We loved every bite. Grilled bread caprese, salads, lasagne, secret meat and steak. One was better than the next and the presentation was beautiful! Service was impeccable! Highly recommend!

The service here is impeccable. The owner also owns the tattoo studio next door. His artistic ability and taste in art is incredible. This is displayed throughout the restaurant. This is even before mentioning the food. The food…is unbelievable. The lasagna and special were amazing!! Not to mention, the starters, salad, and bread were delicious as well. This is a great place to come for dinner!

WOW. What an amazing experience!! The food is beyond flavorful, plated beautifully, and the service is wonderful. You can taste how fresh everything is in every bite. I wish we lived closer (we’re from the USA) to continue to come back and try more dishes!! If you’re not sure if you want to eat here- this is your sign to come ASAP!! :) Also- save room for the dessert (the chef himself typed this for me because it’s not something you can skip out on and I wanted to make sure it’s spelled correctly!!!!) Zabaione cream whit mascarpone

Just perfect. The service was so nice, the food and deserts were excellent. We went there by chance and we were not disapointed in any way. I would actually go to Amsterdam just to have a chance to go here again.

This is an awesome place for launch on a Sunday! The food is fresh and súper we’ll prepared. Generous portions. Fresh pastas so hard to find and the service is outstanding. It also features some nice art work on the walls.

Dit is een hele gezellige plek om te eten, wij hebben hier geluncht, heerlijk was het! Echt een aanrader, wij gaan snel terug!

Very good reception and dishes. The porc meat and Napolitano(Argentinian dish) was amazing . We highly recommend this place .

Delicious milanesas and lovely waiters/owner!

We were at Gloria last Friday for a team dinner, the food was simply amazing and paired with great wine and the dessert is delicious as well! Everyone enjoyed the freshly made ravioli and the milanesa steak, the food was big portion and service is top notch. Thanks to the owner Anibal for the great service, we all had fun and loved the yummy food!

The milanesa is amazing ! The people who works here are very friendly and lovely! They very warm! All was super jummy! I suggest to come with the stomach empty cause the portions are generous! ✨🫶

El local muy agradable y decorado con mucho gusto. La comida realmente buena. Todos los platos de pasta muy recomendables. La lengua a la vinagreta como para repetir. Los postres... difícil decidirse por uno....el semifreddo escandalosamente bueno! El personal muy amable y atento, con detalles de agradecer como por ejemplo el vino recomendado. Repetiré, seguro!. Recomendable 100%. Una cena muy agradable. La comida exquisita, el dueño encantador y muy cercano, recomendándonos las mejores opciones. Y el cocinero muy simpático. Disfrutamos mucho de la cena a todos los niveles.

We were looking for a good argentinian / italian restaurant around Amsterdam, and we got so lucky we found this awesome place. Starting from a warm welcome from the owner who recommended a nice wine to us, we had an amazing lunch where everything we tasted was certainly incredible. Our waiter was also so kind, attentive and pleasant. She recommended us the Semifreddo which was fantastic, a very good way to end this awesome experience. Coming back to this restaurant is surely an incentive to come back to Amsterdam as well.

Gem of a place, the restaurant's vibe is really cozy with some art display on the walls, the staff was very kind and attentive and the food really pushes it to the next level. The mix of Italian and Argentinian is sensational. On Sundays, a special pasta menu is served which features the sorentinos argentinos which were *unfairly* good. The milanesa sandwich was really good as well, and the semifreddo, thanks to the waiter's recommendation, was the cherry on top. Great price for a great experience in every sense, we can't wait to come back.

I’m an American that has been in Amsterdam for 10 days. In 10 days I’ve had two meals each day from various parts of the city. This is the best meal I may have ever had. It’s definitely the best meal I’ve had in Amsterdam.

Amazing all around. From the care and attention to detail by the host to the food; everything was was remarkable!

Honest, great food and warm service from a staff that genuinely tries to please you. Everything was well made. Simple menu and rather simple dishes with few ingredients but paying attention to the quality. Totally worth a try, especially on their gnocchi evenings!

You do a little dance everytime you take a bite of you're food. It's home made and with love! This is the best food we have had in a long time.

This is an amazinzing little secret in the Rozengracht. If you like good quality meat excellently cooked. We tried the Tataki de Solomillo and it was amazing but so was the Lasagne and the Iberian Secret. The plates are generous, well presented and have complementing sides. The desserts are also delish! We tried Pear Cofi, Tiramisu and Ice cream. Highly recommended.

Un lugar donde la atención el lugar y la comida son excepcionales. Buena calidad y cantidad la verdad me hace recordar a la comida de mi argentina no por cierto los dueños son argentinos y me olvidaba del precio no me pareció para nada caro al contrario. Un lugar para recomendar

Wir sind zufällig hier vorbei gekommen und waren mehr als positiv überrascht, da das Restaurant von außen eher unscheinbar wirkt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und von hervorragender Qualität. Der Service war ebenfalls sehr gut. Dass hier Bilder ausgestellt werden, rundet das tolle Ambiente noch ab. Ein authentisches Restaurant zum Wohlfühlen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Amsterdam.

Although I'm a vegetarian and the menu options were limited, the dishes I tried were undeniably delicious. And even the toilet had beautiful art painted on the walls
