Coming from France, I found a restaurant that lived up to expectations: a delight, finally some real good food!!!

Not comparable to what you get on your plate in Argentina. 31 euros for a small steak plus 5 euros for fries that are better from the deep fryer. No vegetables on the side. Ridiculously expensive.

Its a very cute place to eat some authentic Argentinian food. The meat was very tasty, it was a bit busy when we arrived so service was not slow but also not the fastest which was understandable so no complaint there. It is very loud tho so it was kinda hard to converse, if you want to talk a lot it's best to sit outside. Good place, recommend if you like this type of food.

What a wonderful evening I had here on the Lindengracht. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail, and the atmosphere was excellent from the very first moment. Every single dish looked beautiful on the plates. The little squid with the fresh herbs and the perfect slice of lemon, in particular, were a real treat for the eyes and the taste buds. We enjoyed every course. This is without a doubt a place I would love to return to.

Had a very tasty meal. Lots of meat on the menu, but also small bites like empanadas. Only the squid was tough and tasteless; the rest was more than fine. Good Argentinian bottled beer (and wine) and reasonable prices. Would definitely go back.

€26.00 for 8 prawns (not King prawns, just regular medium ones) is very expensive. For two people, we ate for €77.00: the aforementioned prawns, a pot of very bland spare ribs, a cola, 2 wines, and a mini bottle of still water. You pay extra for rice for dessert. In short: the price/quality ratio is not good. Perhaps an unsuspecting tourist would be happy with it, but I have worked in the hospitality industry and this is substandard.

This restaurant is worth recommending. The owner is a very nice gentleman and the staff are very helpful and friendly. We went there for dinner as soon as we arrived in Amsterdam.

A True Taste of Argentina in Amsterdam From the moment we walked in, the smell of asado was absolutely enchanting. After a few days in Amsterdam, we were craving good meat and had tried to find authentic Argentinian restaurants—but something was always missing… that real feeling of home. We asked an Argentinian girl in a souvenir shop, and she immediately said, “Luna—for sure, they are the real thing.” She was right. We were warmly served by Luis, from La Boca, and the chefs are from Uruguay, which made the experience even more authentic. We were also looked after by Siro from Spain, who brought a lovely Argentinian flair to the service. The food and the service were both outstanding—truly genuine, comforting, and unforgettable. Highly recommended

The fries were very salty. Personally, I really love them, but in a restaurant, they should be served without the kick. I find it unappetizing to see and do to have to take them out of my mouth.

It's a decent, affordable little restaurant, but don't expect high-quality beef. You get what you pay for.

We had a delicious meal in a very cozy and authentic restaurant. Parrillada de carne mixta with a salad is always a winner, and this meat was also deliciously seasoned and tender. Our companions thoroughly enjoyed it too, and we would love to be back!

The lady who served me was incredibly welcoming! She explained our order in detail and gave us great suggestions, making it a wonderful dinner. We ordered a mixed salad and a mixed grill. The meats were absolutely delicious; the beef and lamb were cooked perfectly—juicy and chewy, which I loved! The surface was slightly charred, resulting in a crispy exterior and tender, juicy interior. Next time, I'd be willing to order them rarer. I also really liked the cutlery they used. It was so easy to use, and the forks were great for cutting the meat. Haha! It sounds strange, but it really was convenient. I'm already looking forward to my next meal here.

I went several times and always felt like I was in Argentina: the meat was cooked just like my dad or grandpa used to, and it felt like a typical Argentine restaurant, a bodegón. The calamari and mushrooms were also very good. I'll definitely be back.

A simple restaurant with an Argentinian atmosphere, indeed. Friendly service. I had fried squid as a starter, excellent! And a perfect ribeye with jacket potato and pepper sauce as a main course. It was early in the evening and I had a pudding with dulce de leche for dessert. Good restaurant!

I will start with the good thing - the beef quality was very good. Other then that, I can't say anything good. The value for money is very very poor. The dishes are tiny, side dishes even smaller. For example, ribs dish, 26 euros, less then half a rack (that was also without any flavor/seasoning). Mix grill, 36 euros, 2 bites of beef, two small lamb chops, pork sausage, and 1/8 corn cob. We went to eat somewhere alse after spending there oven 100 euros.

The place is very welcoming, with a decoration full of character and identity, featuring photos of tango dancers, football, and many authentic details that truly represent Argentine culture. The milanesas were delicious, perfectly prepared and full of flavor, the kind of dish that makes you feel at home. The service overall was very good, attentive and warm, but there was one moment that truly stood out and made the experience unforgettable. Our food was slightly delayed due to an issue in the kitchen. An Argentine gentleman, who appears to be the owner, noticed that we were concerned about time. When we told him we had tickets for a museum at a specific hour and might have to leave, he told us to enjoy our meal calmly and offered to bring his car and drive us himself so we would not have to take public transportation, which usually takes longer. What an incredible gesture. Genuine, thoughtful, and deeply human. These are the moments that define a place and the people behind it. Luna is not just about great food, it is about heart, culture, and true hospitality. That gentleman is an absolute CRACK!! A highly recommended place and one that truly stays with you.

A warm, cozy place with a true Argentine vibe. The flavor of the meat speaks for itself. For me, ambiance is one of the most important parts of enjoying a meal and this place delivers. I’d definitely go back.

The empanadas are a huge hit. The fernet is expensive, ask beforehand. The meat is fantastic. They don't have a country salad (lettuce, tomato, onion) or a criolla salad. The place is great and the staff are amazing.

Good value for money and nice food

As Argentinians, we really appreciate this place! We ordered a bife de chorizo and a milanesa napolitana 10/10! The other restaurants in the city center that claim to be Argentine are not! Don’t be fooled! Luna has authentic Argentine meat! 🇦🇷🩷🤤

The food was very good, the service very friendly and the ambiance very suitable. We can only recommend it.

One of the most disgraceful and disappointing dining experiences I’ve ever had. Before I even walked in, things already went wrong. I dropped my girlfriend off at the door so she could go inside ahead of me. Inside was a large group of loud, drunk men — basically football hooligans — who started shouting inappropriate comments at her the moment she entered. And the staff? Did absolutely nothing. No one stepped in, no one said a word. They just watched. To make matters worse, they were too indifferent to even take her coat, leaving us to hang it ourselves. Then came the food: • Main course: raw pork sausages, literally undercooked. We sent them back and got replacements. • Rib-eye: fair enough, that one was decent. • Tenderloin: looked and tasted more like a deep-fried meatball than an actual steak. I find it completely unacceptable that my girlfriend had to feel unsafe in a restaurant while the staff stood by and did nothing. And to top it off, the food was substandard at best. A restaurant with no respect, no service, and no quality whatsoever. An absolute disgrace. I wouldn’t set foot here again if you paid me.

We traveled to Amsterdam for the ADE festival and went to eat at the Argentinian restaurant Luna, and it exceeded our expectations. The service and meats were spectacular. We will return, and thanks to the grill master and waiters, we were treated like we were at home.

We had a delicious meal, but the portions were too small, and the price-quality ratio wasn't good. The service wasn't great either, considering the price. They forgot the salad, and the service was poor. For example, after a long wait, we even asked for the dessert menu even though it wasn't busy. We used to go here often until 10 years ago, and back then everything was more generous, including the food, the hospitality, and the atmosphere. We won't be back.

Food was good, the quality of the meat was also good. The atmosphere was friendly and cosy. the overall cost is too much, especially when you charge extra money every little additional choice. An example: sauce is included in the price of a steak, but if you choose steak butter, bam +4 euros. Another example: no side is included with a steak per se. So you pay for each side dish. Bam +5 euro. And so on. In the end you end paying too much for what it is. Deserts cost 10+ euros each. Another bam :)

We were here on a Monday night and it was busy enough to have a good atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We really enjoyed our steak. A good selection of beer and wine too.

This is probably one of the few restaurants that are truly Argentine, the rest are disguised to attract diners, the meat is high quality + a real Argentine atmosphere, longing for my origins, it was very worth coming to Luna, it was very tasty, highly recommended 😍

Spent my birthday here at this cute Argentinian restaurant which is nothing like most other Argentinian places in the city that are way too touristy. Come here for some real Argentinian experience. The service was very good and just the overall ambiance there felt super chill. Would definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed my dinner. Despite mixed reviews I wanted to give them a try and happy I did. Started with the chorizo sausages which were some of the best I ever had. Ordered the Argentinian steak with chimichurri and a salad. The steak was cooked well and the chinichurri was also some of the best I’ve had. Would recommend.

The place itself is not bad! Yet could be better. The starters were a bit sad, the empanadas done well but the ingredients are poorly chosen. Canned corn, cheapest canned tuna, and a sad criolla-2 small spoons. The beginning can be changed. Maybe try to play a bit more with the suppliers for the ingredients. As for the meat itself, not bad, yet still the quality not living up to the price. Either lower the price a bit or make it slightly better. The staff were nice and friendly. The wine was good.

Service is great, friendly and quick. I dont want to recommend it, so more people find it, but it is just to good not to recommend, if you visit Amsterdam, a dinner at Luna is a must! Thank you once again for the service and the amazing meat! Unfortunately, the worst experience of our stay. The welcome was really not very warm, not even a goodbye when leaving. The meat was good but the canneloni were really bland and lacking in flavor. The prices seemed quite high to us, especially since you have to pay extra for the fries, which are clearly frozen fries. We are disappointed because we thought we were going to have a great discovery.

Disappointing... a rib-eye steak advertised on the menu which unfortunately wasn't one, overcooked moreover with a rare cooking requested; a Neapolitan Milanese escalope with a slice of low-end ham on top... Very expensive for the quality and quantity served (except for the sides of lamb, which were overcooked but nevertheless good).

Very Disappointing Experience Not Coming Back I recently visited this restaurant and ordered lamb chops. What I received first was completely burnt and overcooked, so I returned it. They brought it back again this time practically raw and uncooked, as you can see in the photos. The service was equally frustrating. I had to ask multiple times for basic things, and the staff, especially the girl with glasses and the other waiter, didn’t offer any explanation or apology. This used to be one of my favorite places the last time I visited, it was a great experience. But this time the food was unacceptable, and the service was even worse. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

Nice Argentinian restaurant with very good quality meat. The tenderloin was very good, tasted so good that a sauce was not even needed. Argentinian sausages were also very tasty. The restaurant is in a little less busy area of town but still easy to get to. There are a few tables outside for the guests. Make a reservation on time if you'd like to sit outside. Friendly staff and a lot of pictures of Argentinian celebrities are placed on the walls. All in all, a nice little cosy restaurant with great food

Everything was amazing. From the food to service to the pricing. There was a man with an accordion who began to play in the booth next to us and his friend sang. Beautiful and unexpected. Definitely recommend!

A very cozy little restaurant. The food is delicious, and the service is extremely friendly and attentive. Side dishes like rice salad or fries must be ordered separately to prevent waste. I think the price for a small bowl of fries is a bit steep (5 euros).
