We went out for dinner recently; the taste and presentation were mediocre, so unfortunately, we won't be repeating this.

This was really delicious food. Friendly and cozy, but the food was truly outstanding.

I was alone there to try some good Greek food , that was my expectations , but was other way . For the beginning I ordered a draught beer , the waiter came to the table with a glass of pee , that was not beer for sure , no bubble , horrible taste . They gave me a bottle of beer instead , that was good , thanks god . After that I ordered a portion of gyros , I’ve eaten a lot of time gyros in my life and I can say that was the worst gyros of my life . In my opinion it is a horrible restaurant so I recommend you not to go there never !

The place smells of cigarette and urine, tables were not clean. The owner is nice though very pushy to take the order (and the restaurant was almost empty). The food was very average with rather small portions of side dishes. I would not go back.

A description. Early Monday at 4:30 PM in an empty place, all by yourself after work for a quick pita? Saturday night at 8:15 PM with a group of 6 for a real night out? A party night with live music on Wednesday?! It seriously doesn't matter when you visit this authentic establishment. Quality is always the top priority here! See you the day after tomorrow....

First of all, I missed a welcome ouzo upon arrival. I think that's customary for every Greek, but of course, it can be different here. After ordering the three-course menu, we had to wait quite a while for our first course. My wife and I both had dolmadakia. The gentleman said these were the last. To our great surprise, I received three and my wife only two. Very strange. They were partly warm and partly almost cold. There was hard rice and a bland cream sauce on top. We accepted this and hoped for a better outcome, which unfortunately wasn't the case. We then had to wait quite a while for the main course. There was also little attention paid to whether anyone wanted another drink. The main course wasn't served individually on a plate, but on a platter in front of us, as if we were sharing a meal (which wasn't the case). The fries arrived first. When I noticed that the fries were pale, limp, and lukewarm, I asked if they could be fried a little longer. This wasn't a problem. When the meat was served (chicken breast and gyros), I wasn't happy. The gyros was almost cold. When I mentioned this to the gentleman, he said it was because of cutting the spit. He said he would fix it for me, but I suspect this was done somewhat reluctantly, as he reacted quite gruffly. When the gyros came back, the meat had become completely limp, probably from the microwave, but according to the gentleman, it had been put under the grill. I left it at that and reluctantly ate a few pieces of meat. We didn't have dessert because we were completely fed up with the quality of the food and the owner's attitude (who acts like he has the best restaurant). A huge disappointment for us, and we'll never go back.

I came here through Social Deal and I definitely don't regret it. The owner is very friendly and engaging, the place is clean, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The food was delicious and served neatly, with more than enough. The fries were really good, along with the tasty vegetables, raw vegetables, and tzatziki. The ice cream was also delicious. Highly recommended! They also regularly have live music. And there's plenty of parking.

Super cozy atmosphere and incredibly delicious food! The atmosphere is warm and cozy (romantic 👀). The price is also very reasonable considering the amount of food you get. Be sure to order some good meat for your girlfriend because she'll always have leftovers! In short, a great atmosphere with great service and great food! Enjoyed it very much!

Had travelled from New Zealand to visit our daughter studying in Wageningen just over a month ago. Big fans of Greek food so thought we'd try out Alexandros - we were not disappointed . It was a quiet night but we received fabulous food and great service from the owner as he explain each dish he brought to our table. Best evening meal we had on the entire trip. Look forward to visiting again

What a fantastic restaurant! First of all, the restaurant was supposed to be closed, but my wife and I had reservations. So they opened the entire restaurant just for the two of us! Secondly, if you're annoyed that you can't always try everything in Greek cuisine, then this is highly recommended! Choose the 2-hour tapas option; you won't regret it!

We had an absolutely delicious meal yesterday. The leg of lamb is highly recommended, but the bistekka was also very good. I read below that the fries weren't good, but we actually thought they were exceptionally good! And the service was excellent and friendly. We had a Groupon deal, but we'll definitely go back without one to explore the rest of the menu 😊.

I liked the meat but the dessert was half melted with the comment that "you can't always get a ten", the decor was not very cozy and I would not come back again.

Today I had a delicious meal with my family and in-laws at Greek restaurant Alexandros. The owner may not have spoken Spanish 😉, but he's an excellent server and the food was delicious. A pleasant evening with good food and friendly service!

Despite some issues, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The mezedes on the website aren't available individually, as mentioned, but only with a two-hour all-you-can-eat menu. So, I ordered a la carte and enjoyed my meal. The portions were just right, leaving my plates practically empty. They didn't have the children's ice cream, but they immediately came up with a small one. All in all, we had a pleasant dinner.

Unfortunately, we had to wait a very long time for drinks and food. We had a two-hour all-you-can-eat menu. After the first 40 minutes, we finally got our first drink, and our food didn't arrive for another hour. My stomach started to hurt after the second course. The food was often cold, and they forget to bring half of what you ordered. Sometimes there's sauce, and sometimes not. The fries weren't tasty either. The meat was often not cooked through properly. The portions also got smaller. The food was way overpriced. The staff was friendly, though.

Ordered 1/2L beer, received more then half foam. When asked about this, nothing changed. The food was very tasty and nice service too. Quite expensive though

The service was excellent, and the surprise for the birthday boy was super fun. The atmosphere is cozy, but most importantly, the food was full of flavor; we thoroughly enjoyed it and thoroughly enjoyed it. We will definitely be back... Thank you for taking such good care of us.

Went here for dinner with the social deal. While you'd be treated differently at most places because of the social deal, that's absolutely not the case here. All the staff are friendly, and the food is excellent.

We had another very pleasant evening here. With a friendly and welcoming owner. Always delicious food. The dessert I had was also very tasty.

Our visit to Restaurant Alexandros was unfortunately very disappointing. We had to wait a long time for our food, and while we were killing time by checking our phones, we were told to put it down and "look around." This felt patronizing and unnecessary. When the food finally arrived, it was also disappointing. The portions were small, the fries were limp and tasteless. To make matters worse, the salt shaker on the table was empty, which wasn't noticed or refilled. The owner was also extremely present—loud, saucy, and constantly seeking attention. He even insisted we leave a good review, which was quite inappropriate given our experience. So, here's an honest, but negative review. This was our first and last visit. We won't be back.

They have no idea what they're doing. Despite bad experiences in the past, I tried again yesterday. A staff member honestly admitted they had no knowledge of Greek cuisine. Oh well, you can still bring cutlery and napkins. I went and got them myself. I waited a bit, but no plates arrived after our food had been on the table for a while. So I went and got them. A staff member handed them to me without looking at me. Why does someone always stand behind the cash register when no one comes to pay, while customers have to fetch their own things and put their empty glasses on another table because they no longer fit? The gyros was very tasty, though. But the Greek coffee was also watery instead of incredibly strong. I hadn't previously known any Greek restaurants that didn't serve spirits. There was no whiskey for dessert, and not even Metaxa anymore? The menu even says they cook with it! My previous experience was unfortunately confirmed.

Bad experience!! We waited too long for our food; after two hours, we received one plate (for two people) instead of three. The food was cold and not the same as advertised on the menu. Luckily, there was New York Pizza around the corner, so we ended up eating there.

Slechte eten kwaliteit, na 2 uren wachten op het eten, krijgen we uiteindelijk een schotel (voor 2 personen) ipv 3 schotels!! Het eten was weinig, koud. Schotels waren niet schoon. Het was letterlijk de vraag of wij bestek nodig hebben!! Een slechte ervaring die wij nooit willen herhalen. Gelukkig was er New York pizza om de hoek waar we met de kids gingen eten.

I've rarely had such a bad experience in a restaurant. The service was slow and disinterested—we had to ask for drinks several times, and even then it took ages. In short: this was a one-time experience for us, but never again.

Eten was niet wat ik van ze gewend ben..dikke stugge stukken vlees met te veel vet eraan... Bifteki leek wel gemalen vlees met weinig tot geen smaak eraan beetje zure lucht..toetje was veel te natte en sompige baklava ...echt laatste keer dat we daar zullen eten!!!!!
