I discovered this wonderful Greek restaurant on my way home from a musical. Lovely atmosphere and delicious food.

Super cozy atmosphere and incredibly delicious food! The atmosphere is warm and cozy (romantic 👀). The price is also very reasonable considering the amount of food you get. Be sure to order some good meat for your girlfriend because she'll always have leftovers! In short, a great atmosphere with great service and great food! Enjoyed it very much!

Had travelled from New Zealand to visit our daughter studying in Wageningen just over a month ago. Big fans of Greek food so thought we'd try out Alexandros - we were not disappointed . It was a quiet night but we received fabulous food and great service from the owner as he explain each dish he brought to our table. Best evening meal we had on the entire trip. Look forward to visiting again

Spontaneous dinner out for the three of us...we were stuck in traffic on the way home. We ended up at Alexandros in Wageningen. Delicious appetizer, main course, and dessert. Nice, relaxed atmosphere and friendly, fast service!

What a fantastic restaurant! First of all, the restaurant was supposed to be closed, but my wife and I had reservations. So they opened the entire restaurant just for the two of us! Secondly, if you're annoyed that you can't always try everything in Greek cuisine, then this is highly recommended! Choose the 2-hour tapas option; you won't regret it!

We had an absolutely delicious meal yesterday. The leg of lamb is highly recommended, but the bistekka was also very good. I read below that the fries weren't good, but we actually thought they were exceptionally good! And the service was excellent and friendly. We had a Groupon deal, but we'll definitely go back without one to explore the rest of the menu 😊.

I liked the meat but the dessert was half melted with the comment that "you can't always get a ten", the decor was not very cozy and I would not come back again.

The meat was really terribly salty. I didn't eat it. Cheap through a social deal, but bad.

Today I had a delicious meal with my family and in-laws at Greek restaurant Alexandros. The owner may not have spoken Spanish 😉, but he's an excellent server and the food was delicious. A pleasant evening with good food and friendly service!

We had a delicious meal with the Groupon deal. Alexandros tries his best to please everyone. The price/quality ratio is excellent. We'll definitely be back.

We ate here with seven people. The food and service were good. The staff was very friendly.

Despite some issues, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The mezedes on the website aren't available individually, as mentioned, but only with a two-hour all-you-can-eat menu. So, I ordered a la carte and enjoyed my meal. The portions were just right, leaving my plates practically empty. They didn't have the children's ice cream, but they immediately came up with a small one. All in all, we had a pleasant dinner.

Unfortunately, we had to wait a very long time for drinks and food. We had a two-hour all-you-can-eat menu. After the first 40 minutes, we finally got our first drink, and our food didn't arrive for another hour. My stomach started to hurt after the second course. The food was often cold, and they forget to bring half of what you ordered. Sometimes there's sauce, and sometimes not. The fries weren't tasty either. The meat was often not cooked through properly. The portions also got smaller. The food was way overpriced. The staff was friendly, though.

Ordered 1/2L beer, received more then half foam. When asked about this, nothing changed. The food was very tasty and nice service too. Quite expensive though

The service was excellent, and the surprise for the birthday boy was super fun. The atmosphere is cozy, but most importantly, the food was full of flavor; we thoroughly enjoyed it and thoroughly enjoyed it. We will definitely be back... Thank you for taking such good care of us.

Went here for dinner with the social deal. While you'd be treated differently at most places because of the social deal, that's absolutely not the case here. All the staff are friendly, and the food is excellent.

Our visit to Restaurant Alexandros was unfortunately very disappointing. We had to wait a long time for our food, and while we were killing time by checking our phones, we were told to put it down and "look around." This felt patronizing and unnecessary. When the food finally arrived, it was also disappointing. The portions were small, the fries were limp and tasteless. To make matters worse, the salt shaker on the table was empty, which wasn't noticed or refilled. The owner was also extremely present—loud, saucy, and constantly seeking attention. He even insisted we leave a good review, which was quite inappropriate given our experience. So, here's an honest, but negative review. This was our first and last visit. We won't be back.

They have no idea what they're doing. Despite bad experiences in the past, I tried again yesterday. A staff member honestly admitted they had no knowledge of Greek cuisine. Oh well, you can still bring cutlery and napkins. I went and got them myself. I waited a bit, but no plates arrived after our food had been on the table for a while. So I went and got them. A staff member handed them to me without looking at me. Why does someone always stand behind the cash register when no one comes to pay, while customers have to fetch their own things and put their empty glasses on another table because they no longer fit? The gyros was very tasty, though. But the Greek coffee was also watery instead of incredibly strong. I hadn't previously known any Greek restaurants that didn't serve spirits. There was no whiskey for dessert, and not even Metaxa anymore? The menu even says they cook with it! My previous experience was unfortunately confirmed.

Bad experience!! We waited too long for our food; after two hours, we received one plate (for two people) instead of three. The food was cold and not the same as advertised on the menu. Luckily, there was New York Pizza around the corner, so we ended up eating there.

I've rarely had such a bad experience in a restaurant. The service was slow and disinterested—we had to ask for drinks several times, and even then it took ages. In short: this was a one-time experience for us, but never again.

Slechte eten kwaliteit, na 2 uren wachten op het eten, krijgen we uiteindelijk een schotel (voor 2 personen) ipv 3 schotels!! Het eten was weinig, koud. Schotels waren niet schoon. Het was letterlijk de vraag of wij bestek nodig hebben!! Een slechte ervaring die wij nooit willen herhalen. Gelukkig was er New York pizza om de hoek waar we met de kids gingen eten.

Eten was niet wat ik van ze gewend ben..dikke stugge stukken vlees met te veel vet eraan... Bifteki leek wel gemalen vlees met weinig tot geen smaak eraan beetje zure lucht..toetje was veel te natte en sompige baklava ...echt laatste keer dat we daar zullen eten!!!!!

There was something special about the evening air as we crossed the threshold of Greek Restaurant Alexandros, as if there was a hint of enchantment in the scent of grilled meats and warm spices. The doors swung open like portals to another world, one filled with soft candlelight, gleaming copper, and the scent of lemon and oregano that led like an invisible guide to our table. The wait staff moved almost silently around the room, as if they instinctively knew what you needed before you knew it yourself. Their smiles were genuine, their attention complete, and their presence as soothing as a cup of hot tea on a stormy night. And then the food. Oh, the food! The mezze platter arrived like a palette of flavors, each mouthful a little fairy tale in itself. The tzatziki was fresh and creamy, the dolmades melted in your mouth like soft secrets, and the kalamaris were golden and crispy like parchment rolls fresh from a magician’s oven. The main course – a richly filled platter of perfectly grilled meat – felt as if it had been prepared by the gods of Olympus themselves. Time seemed to stand still as we enjoyed the Greek wine, soft and smooth like a well-preserved story. And even as the dinner came to an end, the feeling that we had experienced something special lingered. Greek Restaurant Alexandros is no ordinary restaurant. It is a place where taste awakens memories, where the atmosphere embraces you like an old friend, and where an ordinary evening turns into a small, unforgettable adventure.

Today we did all you can eat via social deal. We ordered 3 rounds and with each order we received the wrong dishes or our own dishes never arrived. We always indicated this to the staff and yet it happened every time. In addition, it took a very long time every time before we could order again and many of the dishes were cold. Afterwards, everything was charged extra on the receipt, while the menu stated that this was part of the all you can eat. The young man at the cash register wouldn't believe us that she made a mistake. Fortunately, another gentleman from the restaurant later removed this from the receipt and agreed with us. It's possible to make a mistake, but that much was a bit crazy...

We sat in the sun on the terrace (next to which the neighbor or the owner himself (???) had placed a smelly waste container). It all needs some renovation, but we had the three-course dinner and the food tasted great. Delicious starter, main course and small dessert. If you want simple, good food without luxury, then you have come to the right place. In any case, the owner is confident, because everyone gets the Google review QR code on their table.

Goed gegeten in een ongedwongen sfeer. Lokatie lijkt van buiten een beetje afgelegen, maar binnen is het gezellig en druk. Alexandros is een leuke gastheer, die van een geintje houdt. Gezien de lage prijs uitstekend geschikt voor studenten. Maar ook voor ouderen (zoals ik) is het prima vertoeven, de kaart biedt veel keuzes, het eten is smaakvol. Als ik weer in Wageningen ben zal ik een bezoek zeker overwegen.

Had een gyros schotel. Gyros was lauw, maar wel voldoende friet amber in de fritespan gezeten........................
