Had a delicious meal, top service at Salem

I ordered veal spareribs here. It was reheated meat, making it very tough. The next morning I discovered there were maggots crawling out of the leftovers, so the meat was already spoiled! I got food poisoning from this filthy place. They are NOT hygienic and do NOTHING about food safety! This place needs to close ASAP; they are making their customers sick! Worthless!

This time the delivery person was very quick... I'm afraid he put it in the bag a bit too quickly or lost his way... the liquid from the shashlik was mixed around in the bag, fries soggy, buns soggy... it took him time because he lost his way, the food was lukewarm. Normally positive, but few stars today. For the price you pay, I expect clean and hot food.

Disappointing experience. I ordered a super shawarma, but received a tiny container of shawarma meat that was completely out of proportion to the price. As if that wasn't enough, the meat was also dry and tough. This feels like a complete scam. After calling to inquire about this, I only received a simple "sorry," and that was it. Absolutely not worth the money.

Posted a while back... Always the same excellent quality, fresh, I'm very happy with it. Ordered a mixed grill today. I ordered online at 4 p.m. and requested a time of around 5:40 p.m. The doorbell rang at 5:39 p.m. :-) The mixed grill was perfect and prepared with care, you can tell. I was absolutely thrilled with it again ;-) Ordered sweet pork spareribs today... Wow, so delicious, delicious... The fries were also delicious... January 2025 And neatly packaged and delivered again. Today, March 12, 2025 Ordered sweet pork spareribs again. And again super delicious, delicious. Delivered on time, still nice and hot, and neatly delivered. Top top top 😉 I also ordered in between. Ordered again today, December 17th. Dalida plate. Delicious, I ordered extra pita with it. Really great, oh yeah, shawarma, 3 kinds of grilled meat, and fries on the side, and it was delicious. Delicious! Neat delivery. Until next time, Dalida!

Delicious food, and for me, that's been the case for about 30 years now!! The people are still just as friendly and they have super fast delivery that delivers your food perfectly too, and I never have to wait long for it😉 So I recommend it to everyone...

Now a disappointment for the third time. The first time everything was cold, and after that I received the wrong order twice. This isn't making me happy.

I ordered shawarma and it was a complete disaster. The portion was ridiculously small for the price, the meat was undercooked, and overall it was a huge disappointment. Definitely not recommended.

Big credit to the owner! We weren't satisfied with the delivery (ordered through Uber Eats), and the young man on the phone misrepresented some details. After some back-and-forth, the owner made it right. Excellent service, and the food was delicious as always. Highly recommended!

Too much back and forth walking of delivery people

Heeel slecht , bij thuisbezorgd besteld meer dan 2 uur moeten wachten op ons eten we hadden 2 keer gebeld . En iedere kreeg kregen we te horen ja is onderweg. Toen het eenmaal aan kwam alles was slap patat wat je echt niet kon even . Dan heb je een plate beteld daar miste gewoon ook het brood en salade. Nooit meer voor ons !!!

Gister voor de zoveelste keer weer wat besteld omdat het normaal gesproken erg lekker is. Maar dit keer viel het tegen, sausen lagen door het zakje heen dus niet te gebruiken. Smaak van de lamsshaorma was niet wat wij gewend waren. En wat bleek heel de nacht met buikkrampen op de wc gezeten, details laat ik achterwegen. Dit is dan ook gelijk de laatste keer dat ik hier wat bestel.

Super good food just ordered by hand delivered at home took an hour but then you also got some tender juicy meat well done fries sauces were chill I will definitely order here more often.

Wasn't satisfied here years ago, but out of nostalgia I ordered anyway, but unfortunately it's no longer the way it used to be, it started at Joke Staveerne, how delicious that was, then the shawarma shop came on the market street, people, we could enjoy it there, but unfortunately it's no longer there. So now I take a bite, it already smells like raw spareribs, tasteless, too bad, folks, this was my comment

We have ordered here regularly in recent years and have noticed that the quality has deteriorated. In itself this is not a problem, as the food was always excellent. However, last Thursday I placed an order for 7 people which took 2 (!) hours before it was finally delivered. 5 men had a hair salon that you could hardly call a hair salon. The portion was on the small side for 9 euros!. Only half the container was filled, with mainly fries and hardly any meat. Furthermore, the lettuce on top was brown and no longer good at all. We also ordered a mixed grill with shawarma and spare ribs. The spare rib was much smaller than we were used to and the shawarma was either a little warm or ice cold depending on where in the container you took a bite. They also forgot the fries and pita for this dish, so you essentially eat pure meat with garlic sauce. As indicated, we notice that the quality has deteriorated over the years, but this really beat everything.

Amazing, we arrived late to our hotel and we didn't had anything for dinner and this place was open! A father and son welcomed us in and were very nice, explained every option we had to eat and in the end even offered us a bit of a sauce we enjoyed. Great experience, recommended

Our favorite when it comes to shawarma and lamb dishes.

If you order shawarma, it seems logical to me that it is lamb shawarma, since they used to have nothing else, nowadays they send you off with chicken shawarma. If I want chicken, I go to the poulterer.

Large chunks of fat in the lamb shawarma, with super small cups of sauce Napkin can't even be removed anymore.. No, Dalida is not what it once was.

Scandalously small portion for a hair salon of 9 euros! This is worth more like 3 euros. Fries were also limp and drenched in oil. Last time I order here.

It was very busy (logically, Sunday evening at 6 pm) and after a concerned but understanding phone call we received a sweet note and extra drink. Very well organised! And the Gyros Shawarma (ie with peppers and onions) tasted worldly again! 👍👍

A household name in Zaandam. Delicious chicken shawarma sandwich with delicious sauces. If they don't serve a salad with your sandwich, just ask.

Not worth the money for 40 euros ordered 2 chicken sandwiches, 1 pita cheese, 1 gyros and a dish without fries. Then we have to assemble the sandwiches ourselves, they deliver more sauce than food, it took over an hour, it's scandalous that I can't give less than 1 star, I'll just never order again, people wake up, don't order.

Even zoals vroeger na het stappen een broodje halen? nee niet echt! was erg smerig, tafels, stoelen, toilet was echt bizar. Leek echt lange tijd niet schoongemaakt. Kip shoarma droop in het vet. De andere broodjes wel oké maar het was gewoon niet clean! Verouderd oké maar vuil...
