This is a cozy, authentic delicious Italian restaurant with amazing service! FEDERICO WAS HANDS DOWN THE BEST waiter, he was attentive, conversational, perfect pace, with great recommendations! It was 6 of us and we all throughly enjoyed our meal! Menu was not overwhelming, wine selection was also great and desserts were just as delicious! You will not regret this choice!!

Had delicious pasta on the terrace, with a view of the busy Overtoom; lovely. Very friendly service. Bruschetta for starters. One with anchovies, the other traditional with tomato. Those were already super tasty. For the main course, pappardelle al manzo (braised beef in red wine). Truly delectable. Homemade tiramisu for dessert.

Last weekend, I had brunch here, and it was a delightful surprise. The portions were substantial without being overpowering, and the eggs were cooked to perfection. I also enjoyed the laid-back, welcoming vibe.

One of the best pasta places in Amsterdam by far! Can be a bit pricey if you order some wine but it's well worth it! Highly recommend both the carbonara and the bruschetta picante!

Came here for a meal on Saturday. Definitely worth booking on a Saturday night as there were 7 of us, The handmade pasta was delicious as was the wine. Service was attentive and regular without being obtrusive. We loved the decor in the back room.

We chose this cozy place from among those recommended by our hotel receptionist after a long hike. It was a wonderful surprise!!! Homemade pasta and gnocchi, cooked to perfection and accompanied by excellent sauces. All this combined with a family atmosphere and professionalism. We returned every evening for the duration of our stay in Amsterdam. Congratulations!!! An experience to repeat.

We were a group of 10 with reservation and they put us downstairs, not the best area of the restaurant. They ran out of beer glasses at some point. There were industrial cooking machines next to us, and an unpleasant smell (not too bad). The pasta itself was ok. Italian place next to Voldelpark (premium area in Amsterdam), easy to get to by bike and public transport.

Fantastic authentic Italian pasta.

This place is truly a gem - the service is friendly, atmosphere is charming, and most of all, the pasta is delicious. I ended up going back twice in one week. I got pasta both times- one with a braised lamb and the other had eggplant and tomatoes (vegetarian). Both were divine. Tiramisu also surprisingly light and yum. Come here! And call ahead for reservations.

Came here with my partner in the afternoon, looking for some really good pasta. It wasn’t crowded at that time, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We both started with the bruschetta, which was absolutely delicious very homemade and fresh, in the best way. For the main, we had the carbonara, which was also great, but it definitely made us curious to come back and try other dishes on the menu. The restaurant itself is lovely and has a very authentic feel, it really makes you feel like you’re in Italy :)

I tried one of the specials of the day and went for the pasta. The dish was really well executed. I loved the pasta, but the only small note for me was that it leaned slightly on the salty side, but it didn’t take away too much from the overall experience. Service was warm and attentive, which made the meal even more enjoyable. The pricing is very reasonable considering both the quality and the portion size. And a big plus is that they accept American Express, which is always nice to see.

I went to the restaurant Gustatio in Groningen and had a great experience. The Italian food is truly fantastic: every dish tastes like it was prepared directly in Italy, with authentic flavors and high-quality ingredients. The staff is also very kind and welcoming. The waiters make you feel comfortable right away, and the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed. It’s definitely a place I would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy real Italian food in Groningen. I would gladly come back!

The pasta we ate was excellent and delicious, cooked al dente and perfectly cooked. The salad and wine were very good. They arranged a table for us in the basement, which was very cold; we were freezing, and the lighting was inadequate, as you can see from the photos I took. The service was friendly, but it was difficult for them to come down to the basement, so it was a bit slow. Overall, I left satisfied. If I go again, I would prefer to sit upstairs, but if there's no space, I'll leave.

The place is very picturesque, the pasta is exquisite, and they have a wide variety of dried pasta and sauces. The service was excellent; in fact, we called for lunch, and it was late, but they waited for us so we could eat shortly before the kitchen closed.

I just moved in the area and went to this spot (recommended by a colleague): such a positive surprise! Bruschetta with mozzarella & alici + Cacio & Pepe were delicious, perfectly executed! Lovely staff, from the lady taking your orders to the chef and the owner. I will def go back soon!

This is probably the worst pasta I've ever eaten. The ragu pasta is tasteless, and the gnocchi with meat looks like pâté. The restaurant is very cold. I'll never go back.

Me and my partner travel to Italy 2 to 3 times a year as we have family there and I have to say this was some of the best pasta I have had outside of Italy. We ordered a dish each to start and as everything was so delicious we added a third. Of course we had to end our meal with tiramisu which was also fab! Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. Can’t wait for my next trip to return!

I started my wonderful evening here with a Negroni at the bar. The small appetizers went well with the perfectly balanced cocktails that weren't overly sweet. A place that invites you to stay and has a comfortable atmosphere.

Staff is amazing! Super friendly service and helpful with recommendations. Food is great! For starters we had the bruschetta crema di melanzane which was good. The special Pappardelle with pumpkin, mushrooms Parmesan fondue with truffel was delicious with so much layers of flavor. The classic tagliatelle al ragu was als very tasty and so much depth in flavor. Both those dishes were great with the Nero d’Avola red wine!! For dolci we both had a great affogato which was creamy, not too sweet with a nice nutty bitterness from the espresso. We had a great night out!

I don't understand the rave reviews either. The service wasn't very friendly, there was a strange sewer smell in the restaurant, and the pasta itself was quick and tasted okay, but not fantastic. €5.50 for a Coke is outrageous. The bruschetta, however, was very good.

Food was okay but quite expensive. 1 appetizer, two mains and 2 desserts and 2 drinks were over ,100 euros. Portions are also quite small. Would not go again. There were also 3 huge flies flying around and kept landing on us and the food. Very disgusting unfortunately.

Entering this restaurant was like visiting an Italian friend’s home on a Sunday’s family gathering. The layout of the restaurant: small connecting rooms, adjacent small tables, simple tableware… all so genuine and authentic, screaming Italy! Then comes the food: OMG! It just transported me! I had the “bucatini all'amatriciana”, the taste of the first bite goes on till you lick the plate. And the service; smiling waiters, very attentive and friendly. In short: Love this place, love the vibe, love the service, and looooove the food!!!

Gustatio is a truly lovely little spot right in Amsterdam. The vibe is really cool, and despite being busy, the interior layout felt surprisingly spacious and comfortable. It was buzzing with energy, even on a Wednesday evening, and the restaurant smelled absolutely amazing as soon as we walked in—a great first impression! The highlight of the entire meal was easily the Pappardelle al Manzo. If you visit, you have to try this dish. The pappardelle pasta itself was perfectly prepared, with a wonderful bite that confirmed how fresh and well-cooked it was. The beef ragu was incredible—the meat was so tender and full of flavour, holding the rich red wine sauce beautifully. The portion size was huge, making it an excellent, satisfying main course. For dessert, we tried the Tiramisu. It was certainly nice—it wasn't soggy and didn't have that overly powerful coffee taste that can sometimes overwhelm the dish. However, it wasn't the best I've had (I'd rate it about 3/5). I felt the cream or mascarpone could have had a richer, more distinct flavour to elevate it. Overall, Gustatio offers a great experience, especially if you're looking for an excellent pasta dish and a fun, lively atmosphere. I highly recommend it, and I'd definitely return for the Pappardelle!

After a lovely walk in Vondel Park, what a discovery! You immediately feel transported to Italy. The truffle pasta is delicious, the tortino to die for and the lemon ice cream a real treat 🍋. Warm welcome, friendly atmosphere and generous cuisine. Thank you very much for this delicious moment. 🇮🇹
