You'll feel right at home when you dine at this restaurant. A very warm welcome, the staff takes their time, the food is truly excellent, and the atmosphere is wonderful!

Delicious food. Despite being busy, we had a fantastic meal with a group of 8.

Located near the Canal Museum, the restaurant is friendly and the food is delicious. A large plate of bread and olive oil and avocado vinegar are served before the meal. The pasta comes with a bowl of cheese grits to add as you like, which is excellent. The bolognese sauce is more sauce than the pasta and is delicious. Since there's no air conditioning in the middle of summer, it's recommended to bring a fan along with you while enjoying the meal.

The entrées were extremely mediocre — they charged €17 for a slice of melon with the cheapest ham on the market. Even the water was outrageously priced. If you go, stick to pizza or pasta, but honestly, I wouldn’t recommend the place.

We stumbled into Rossini our first night in Amsterdam at the suggestion of our hotel, and it was so good that we went back again on our last night there. The service was great - all of the staff were so incredibly sweet to us both times and remembered us a week later. The food was fantastic. It was pleasant to sit outside and be part of that vibrant little street. Super high recommendation to check this place out

Lovely Staff; food was so good, we couldn't talk for a solid 30 seconds! Atmospehere was really nice as well and we saw some cats!!! 10/10 would recommend. Also the prices were incredibly fair!!

The service is faster than a Vespa in Rome and friendlier than your mother-in-law on your birthday. The pasta? So fresh that I almost saw his mother cry with pride. The wine? Almost sang a serenade into my glass. The atmosphere? As if you accidentally ended up on vacation. In short: if you don't eat here, you'll miss the eighth wonder of the world. I have eaten at this restaurant several times when visiting Amsterdam both when it was Saturninos and now it is Rossinis. I find the location to be ideal and the premises both rustic and inviting. The staff were all very welcoming on this latest visit and there was good seating both indoors and out. The pace of service was perfect and I didn't feel hurried in any way. The quality of the food was high and the ingredients fresh. This reviewer can be quite demanding in his expectations and all my needs and requirements were met.

A very friendly Italian welcome. We arrived very early and got a table for three without a reservation. We started with bread and butter, and they served us a warm plate 👏. The drinks came quickly, and we didn't have to wait long for the food either. The service was very attentive. Prices are reasonable, too. If you're on vacation in Amsterdam, you can eat here with a clear conscience. Enjoy your meal and have fun.

Great experience, I don't really like Italian restaurants abroad, they always seem like a bad copy, but having problems with food we chose to go there, we ate pizza and it was excellent, with excellent quality ingredients, excellent service, Italian waiter, at least the one who served us. It was perfect! Everything was really tasty and delicious. Only thing missing was rissoto it was not on the menu so i reccomend adding it.

I’d like to leave this review as a THANK YOU to the restaurant and the staff. We have visited the Rossini twice during our 3 day long stay in Amsterdam. The staff is very friendly, I guess all of them are Italians and the atmosphere is Italian, too, the food is delicious, you won’t leave hungry because of the portions and you also get a complimentary bread basket (with butter) after you make the order. Our daughter enjoyed it! On our second visit we ordered some takeaway and we were pleased to receive an extra dessert. The Rossini was just the right place for us 💎

Everything we tried here was delicious . From pasta, tortellini, salads, appetisers, wine, desserts, everything is so good. Even if you’re full you find a place for tiramisu, which you can’t resist. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff is super friendly, you can speak with them in italian. Also loved the tables, they are so pretty. We will be back:)

I returned 7/8 years later with my partner and I noticed that even with the new management nothing has changed, excellent quality, clean place and always friendly staff.
