It was a very cold evening, and they had the front door open, which meant the food got cold straight away and you couldn't even sit down and eat.

Too expensive. Ripped bench seat covers. Gloomy atmosphere. Beef burger gave me gout outbreak, something I never get from McD or BK burgers.

I came here for a quick Smashburger, but had a mostly disappointing experience. I had to pay a euro for the restroom, but the gate didn't give me a coupon. The restroom itself looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. No soap, no towels, broken flush buttons, and a filthy floor. The restaurant itself looks poorly maintained. The ordering kiosk wasn't working properly, and several benches had holes in the upholstery. The whole place looks neglected. When I asked about the coupon at the counter, I only got a curt no. The Smashburger I ordered for €8.95 ended up being a small bun with a thin patty, a dollop of sauce, and a slice of cheese. No lettuce, no tomato, no worries. Add to that the failed €1 restroom visit, and you're stuck with almost ten euros for something that barely deserves to be called a hamburger. Too bad, I won't be back.

Big peace of chicken was compeletely tasteless but the wings were a bit better. There was basically no one at the restaurant and still it took around 15 minutes to get the order. Not good value for the money.

I ate at HFC Plein 40-45 two days ago and got food poisoning. What I got at the table didn't look good, so I asked the employee if this was normal. The employee replied: "Sorry, my colleagues gave me a different brand"?!! This is the second time I've had food poisoning at your place, and never again!

Food is NOT tasty at all. We tried chicken nuggets but were very bad in taste. Didn't like it. Apart from that service was good. Restaurant location is also good near to water canal.

I tried chicken pieces along with wings and strips. EVERY PIECE OF CHICKEN is cooked from frozen batches that I'm guessing we're bought in from a third party. In the UK we have Farm foods that sells the same friend chicken frozen and pre-made for you to just put into oil and cook at home. This is the same chicken they sell here!

Double smash burger... Nice picture, but anything but realistic. Be warned, this burger is REALLY NOT worth the price; it was a smash hit. A burger with two very flat layers of ground meat, they generously added sauce, a piece of cheese, and two pickles. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture to get a better idea. If you can't deliver on something, don't offer it, or change the photos so people know exactly what they're getting. Unfortunately, I won't be back, and I do NOT recommend it.

I don't know if it's been copied here, but I recently had the spicy American burger. Oh, it was so good! And the hot wings were also nice and fresh and hot. I eat here often, but the last time was really better than before.

The children's playground, both indoors and outdoors, is extremely filthy and unsafe. Bare, sharp wooden blocks are visible inside due to wear and tear. Your child could easily get a hole in their head here.

The one at the counter is a really good guy. We were served on relatively no fast but not the late. We waited more than 15 minutes for our order to be ready. The place is wide and spacious. I recommend it and I will come again.

They didn't fry the chiken fresh. They gave me something that was thete already for a while. Not nice when you buy a big bucket.

Very good. Restaurant has a kid zone to play. I wanna repeat when HFC its in spain. I like it so much. Thanks for team to clean kids zone before plays my kids. After 30 min i arrive, a lot of kids playing. Its so fun when kids of diferent cultures and countrys, plays and laughing.

We just come from Ireland, this is definitely is not the taste of Amsterdam, the service was slow and the manners of the staff members were disgraceful, definitely would not recommend they also said you need money to go to toilet, there was no air con, I highly do not recommend this area as I brought my family with me.

Terrible experience. The staff were extremely slow and unbelievably rude — no sense of customer service at all. They were openly chatting and ignoring customers while we waited an hour for our food. When it finally arrived, the chicken was under-seasoned and bland. To make things worse, they had apparently run out of chicken while it was busy, which just shows how poorly managed the place is. Not worth the wait, not worth the money. Would not recommend.

Three pieces of chicken cost almost 10 Euro. They also gave us small pieces. Chicken had no taste. Not recommend.

We had been travelling for hours and this was the first halal spot we found nearby. I placed an order over 4 hours ago, and after not sleeping for more than 24 hours, we ended up falling asleep waiting. I woke up an hour and a half later and finally got through to someone after half an hour of trying to find the number that works. only to be told that the driver is on their way now. Four hours later. Absolutely ridiculous. Unprofessional, disorganised, and a complete waste of money. Avoid this place at all costs.

Today we visited HFC Plein 40-45. As a manager of a fast food catering I can say that this is not a normal store. There are flies everywhere. The staff has no work clothes. No gloves. The floors are dirty. The tables are not clean.

Absolutely phenomenal! Everything we ate was amazing—perfectly seasoned fried chicken, juicy meat, crispy fries—just classic, no-frills fast food done right. It’s the kind of place that doesn’t try to be fancy, and it doesn’t need to be. The quality speaks for itself. On top of that, they have a dedicated play area for kids, which makes it even better for families. Honestly, I have nothing to complain about. A great spot all around—highly recommended!

The kids love HFC. It's nice that there is also an opportunity for the children to play. I do advise parents to keep an eye on their own children while they are playing and not to eat completely on the other side of the restaurant. There was a girl (I think she was over 8 years old) who was screaming very unnecessarily and it wasn't exactly a relaxing meal, but I didn't feel called to speak to other people's children either. Furthermore, my order had not gone through on the screen, so I went after it myself after waiting more than 25 minutes. It turned out that the voucher had not gone through. Fortunately, the food itself was a success again. That euro for the toilet is really unnecessary. For that money I expect it to be a clean toilet, but unfortunately it wasn't.

i ate in this restaurant on 2018 and the food was really good so i went there when i visited Amsterdam again , unfortunately i didn’t like the meal , chicken parts was only from Leg quarters , the taste is not delicious, what i found really strange and i never found in a restaurant before that you have to pay one Eur to wash your hands in the bathroom, Hope they think again and modify their strategy

A male staff member offered us (free) soup on the occasion of Ramadan and there was a plate of dates on the table. This was fantastic. Because of this action I gave this tent 2 stars, otherwise I would give fewer or no stars. Because what is less and very irritating is that several female employees work there, who do not know what a hospitable working attitude means. People stand there at the cash register as if you are bothering them as a customer. It starts with not greeting you and just staring at you as if they are work robots. I have experienced this several times here. A shame because the concept is good and unique. Just hire better staff and kick out the current sour staff.

What a shame to pay for fries and have them come half empty, cold and the ones they have there refried from a long time ago, also the attitude of the guy who was there right now was terrible, zero desire to work or motivation. I throw the fries away as if I were throwing them away reluctantly, it is definitely the last time I will give them a chance again, there is always something missing, you always ask them to put something like that and they do it as they please. A real shame. I am a chef and I would never dream of offering this to a customer.

An expensive halal fast food restaurant that has a focus on families. The food is okay but way to expensive, you'll be happier if you try any of the surrounding places to eat. I would not go and sit down in the restaurant itself unless you want to listen to screaming childeren.

These jokers think they are piggybacking on the Smashburger hype, but for 9 (!) euros they give you a loveless little burger without garnish, which is 100% certainly not smashed, but just a factory burger from the freezer. Smullers burger vibes, really not good. I also ordered the chicken tenders, which had been there for at least half an hour. Lukewarm, tough meat and soggy breading. With 2 drinks I lost 20 euros. I haven't felt screwed in Amsterdam for a long time, but this place does it.

Employees have difficulty keeping track of orders and customer order, leading to longer wait times. As a result, customers sometimes ask for their money back and some decide never to return.

Nice that they also deliver. Sometimes you just fancy a tasty burger, then you've come to the right place. Prices are reasonable, affordable for a small family. Extensive menu, kids enjoy trying something different every time. Even if something goes wrong, it is resolved neatly and immediately.

Order was incorrect and a piece of sponge was included. And when I reported this when I called, the employee said "I'm 100% sure it's correct," she couldn't even take responsibility and give an excuse... the order was completely wrong!

Hygiene leaves much to be desired. Had to clean the table myself. The food was cold and overpriced. Despite being friendly, the staff was not concentrated and therefore forgot what you ordered and was playful, hygiene also left much to be desired in the kitchen, prayer room and toilets. You have to look carefully at the price. The price of a single burger is indicated in large format with a photo of the burger, fries and drinks. But you pay more for a menu. They do have a nice climbing area for the little ones.

Positive - delicious food, area for kids to play. A room to take wudu and make salah. Negative - music playing, charging 1 euro for toilet use when you spend an average 10-50 euro to eat and drink. Note to owner and management: stop the music. How can one provide a place to pray while having music blasting.

The location is easily accessible from HFC (Halal Fried Chicken). I opted for the Anatolian menu and a separate piece of chicken. The dish was prepared quickly. However, the fries were very greasy, so I couldn't eat them. The loose piece of chicken was not fresh and had an unpleasant smell. The Anatolian burger, on the other hand, was delicious. Unfortunately I received a lukewarm can of coke, which was disappointing given the outside temperature of 25 degrees.

So I’ve been going there for a few months, and it has become my favourite place to eat, even though the service wasn’t the best at first. What caught my attention a few days ago was that I ordered food, and the delivery was done by a new tall guy I had seen working at the cashier! The next time when he saw me and my son there, he greeted us and asked how we were and if the food was good when he delivered it. He’s very polite,and well-mannered give this guy a trophy ; GOD BLESS YOU BOY!!!!!!

Very unsanitary. Toilets are so dirty and as a customer you also have to pay for the toilet. I paid but left, I'd rather do it in the bushes.

There's a new guy working for you who is cleaning so obsessively that it's no fun. Do something about it when people are still eating or sitting quietly, he starts clearing the table and benches, that doesn't really give a welcome feeling. Just a little bit lower since I sat down, he has certainly been by 20 times without exaggerating with a cloth, dustpan and dustpan...

More then 6 euro's for just a hamburger is too much. I ordered it without sauce, but still the same price. You should have a complete menu for 6 euro's. The price/quality or value for money not so good...HFC, be fair of the price...

Don't go here The chicken is terrible and covered in fat and bread crumbs. The bones are broken. Very unhealthy The staff are the worst. In NL there's little service but these people are next level. They rarely have chicken ready, totally unprepared. I've tried many times and I am always amazed how they remain in business.

I treated myself to a nice menu with nuggets, tenders and a chicken burger while on vacation. The nuggets were nothing special, but holy moly the tenders were the best chicken I've ever eaten! 11/10 would dine again!

We stopped because our hotel was close, the chicken was super delicious and at a very good price, although they didn't speak Spanish they were very patient and friendly.

Amazin food! You have to understand, you wait a little longer(not much) than other fastfood but, well worth wait.

Friet was te droog en letterlijk gebakken in de heel oude olie. Niet te eten was het en was geen zout op wij hebben zout gevraagd maar niemand heeft ons zout gegeven raar. Weggegooid geld heel eerlijk en jammer dat eten kwaliteit zo slecht is . Nog een plek in mijn lijst om weg te krabben en niet meer terug komen

De twee sterren omdat ik denk dat men z’n best doet… Echter mist er helaas veel. Smaak in vooral de nuggets, niet knapperig. Verder val ik helaas over de hygiëne, in dit soort plaatsen (vooral met kids) is het altijd handig om iemand af&toe een kijkje te laten nemen of het schoon is. Speelplaats stinkt, er spelen ook pubers 🫣 wat er nogal wild aan toe gaat. Medewerkers staan vaak onderling te kletsen terwijl je wacht om geholpen te worden.

I recently tried the hot wings meal at this place , and it was a spicy delight! The wings were perfectly crispy with a fiery kick, and the accompanying sides, like seasoned fries, added to the overall satisfaction. The service was friendly, and the portion size for the price was excellent. If you're a fan of spicy wings, this place is a must-try.
