Flavourless and lacking in identity. The tahini sauce was just...plain tahini? No spices, no hint of a fresh lemon anywhere. The food isn't authentic, which is ok, but it is subpar.

A nice Mediterranean lunch spot, especially suitable for takeaway. You can put together your own flatbread, pita or bowl, with many vegan options such as delicious baba ganoush. They even have vegan brownies. Perfect for a quick, tasty meal or to take some dips home with you!

Ordered the chicken bowl and the staff was very accommodating when I asked them to put the sauces on the side. The portion was generous - I got a mix of the bulgur and lettuce as a base. It was very flavourful and filling. Fairly priced considering the quality of ingredients!

Tzatziki besteld voor 6 euro om het in een mini portie te krijgen wat er eerder uitziet als iets wat je er gratis bij krijgt dan daadwerkelijk iets waar je redelijk wat voor betaald. Dat is toch niet normaal

The food was really delicious! There will really be a piece of meat in the fried cauliflower. This was not described in the description and because of this I ate chicken as a vegetarian. Actually really scandalous! It's that the food is really bad that I think it's such a shame!!

Usually this place is great but tonight was a total disappointment. I ordered a grilled chicken bowl with some extras. Not only did they forget the extras but they forgot the grilled chicken! When I called the restaurant the woman was rude and unhelpful. So basically I paid around 20 euros for a bowl of lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers.

I ordered the cauliflower shawarma bowl on ubereats with a side of grilled chicken. The portions were very big and the food tasted fresh especially the cauliflower . However the chicken was slightly dry and they forgot the tahini sauce in my dish but I still enjoyed my lunch. The menu has a lot of healthy options as well as vegan/gluten free options too.

Made an order, it was missing items, called there and they said there were too busy and turned the phone down.

I ordered two falafel dishes and what I got was two CHICKEN dishes. As a vegetarian I couldn’t just eat it and I had to throw away all this food. I called the store and I got ZERO solutions for my problem and your mistake. The lady said that she could give me a refund, but that is not a favor, not a solution, that is my right. As a loyal client, I must say I am really disappointed with your customer service, not a little care at all. On the day before this I also ordered from there with my boyfriend, and we got missing items, but we decided not to complain, bc everyone makes mistakes right? But the next day, it was not missing items, it was a whole order that came ABSURDLY wrong. I am not a costumer who complaints when I can eat my meal even thought is not what I ordered, but that was not the case, it was unfortunate that I threw that away. And guess what, I didn’t got dinner bc it was late as well. As a person who works with customer service, I must say that Mima really lacks on a good customer oriented service, it is not just from good food that a restaurant is made of. The care of the clients is really really important. I really thought about giving you 1 star, but I guess that is unfair with all the meals I enjoyed there before this unfortunate experience with your customer service. I really thought the service was at the same level of quality of the food.

I ordered my food and they sent me wrong. I’m vegetarian and I had to chew a chicken. The restaurant did absolutely nothing to solve because the uber eats was closed already and they even did not offer any other options. I also had to hear that as a “favor” they would refunded my money. The minimum of customer service has to be learned.

It is actually a takeaway restaurant, but you can also eat there. I understand very well why it is so busy with takeaways, the food here is very good and tasty. Despite the many customers, I thought the atmosphere was quite good and the staff were nice.

Falafel was good! I also ordered fattouch and as I started eating it I realised I basically got a mix of vegetables with no sauce (croutons were also missing). The staff sincerely apologised when I told them and said they don’t have those ingredients and offered some other sauces. The customer service is not ok, if a dish can’t be made then the customer should be notified before they get the dish, I would have definitely not went with the fattoush if I knew it was a mix of chopped bland vegetables.

I have both eaten at the restaurant and had food delivered, and both experiences were great! Even though I live f*cking far from Mima, the delivered food is always on time, hot and the quality is always high. It is clear that a lot of attention is paid to the taste, which makes every meal special. Eating on location at Mima is really a treat. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is incredibly friendly, which makes the visit even more pleasant. And then the food: absolutely fantastic! Every dish is a taste explosion and it completes the whole experience. All in all, they fully deserve my 5 stars. Mima is an absolute must for anyone who loves good food, whether you want to enjoy it at home or have a night out.

Not like what it used to be!! I have been a supporter of this place since the day it opened. Could look past the recent price hike due to the good food. However just ordered my usual falafel flatbread and it’s totally cold to touch. It’s really disappointing like the place don’t care anymore. Don’t bother to press it with the heat press anymore. Really disappointing.

I've done takeaway multiple times over winter months.. Since past couple of times I either got stale vegetables or stale falafel. Avoid them in summer, they dont serve fresh.

Amazing salad bowls , pitas and flat breads. Huge portions. All ingredients were so fresh and tasty . Went twice during a 4 day stay in amsterdam . Staff were so nice and helpful. Great value for money . Tahini sauce and hummus were lovely. Plenty of vegan options , vegetarian options and chicken for meat eaters . Fresh Mint tea was a lovely addition.

I’ve eaten here so many times that the staff told us we have the most loyalty points they’ve ever seen. What I can say is that Quality control has gone downhill. This used to be consistently great, now it’s hit or miss. Tried redeeming loyalty points today and was refused, so really disappointed at the experience. This’ll be the end of coming to mima, sadly. I’ve visited this place a few times and recently ordered a falafel bowl with hummus as the base. Unfortunately, the hummus was sparingly applied around the edges of the bowl, and to my disappointment, there was none at the bottom—just an overwhelming amount of pickled cabbage. It’s misleading to advertise this as a hummus bowl; it felt more like a pickled cabbage bowl with a hint of hummus. While the falafel and hummus were tasty, the proportions in the bowl were significantly unbalanced.

Super delicious falafel they have! I like that their pita bread is much more tasty than the usual ones in nl. Only thing is that the extras are kinda pricey. I wish you could choose and variate more like which sauce you want and which extras. You can eat inside or take take out. Due to lot of take away orders going out the place is kinda busy

Great place for a healthy lunch or dinner. They make the best Mediterranean wraps and bowls in Amsterdam! The chicken flatbread is sooooo delicious, definitely a must try. Their tzatziki and hummus are also very tasty. I have it at least few times a month, it’s my go-to takeaway spot 🫶🏻

I liked the concept of this Place! Food is good and typical middle-eastern, prices are quite good compared to other places in Amsterdam. You order at the counter and then it’s all self service. Overall a good experience, staff is not very welcoming tho, when we entered the place they kept talking about their personal stuff like we were not even there and they didn’t say goodmorning or anything, we then had to go proactively to ask them and order and the attitude was not the best. Apart from this I recommend it!

The place looked great, inside and outside. If you're a tourist, it's a great spot to grab a few bites to eat. There was also a kiosk to order your food, but some of the options for sauces and extra toppings were confusing because it is to add MORE to your dish instead of choosing what is IN your dish. To be clear, the toppings included are the ones shown on the dish description on the board, so you don't have to add anything else on the dropdown because it's already there. Very friendly staff as well, they were very helpful. Onto the food, there was a lo going on. The salad was good but had a lot of sauce, which made it unnecessarily wet and moist. The pita sandwich was tasty as well, although I wish that the ingredients were more evenly distributed inside the sandwich because you get chicken first, then a whole salad of soggy vegetables in the bottom. The pita itself also had a crusty layer of dry herbs and spices, which made it dry and uncomfortable tasting. Everything else was great! Nice spot if you're really hungry for a Mediterranean meal.

Decent falafel, but charge 1.95 euro for one cold wrap taken straight out of the packet ?! Food is fine but atmosphere is cold, stingy, un inviting. You can get those packs of wraps from the store for 1 euro for 4..!

Big fan of this place for my lunches! The bowls are huge and packed full of flavour. Usually go for the Grilled Chicken Bowl mixed with Quinoa, Salad, Hummus & Pickles. Superb!

Delicious flatbread with chicken

I ordered the chicken flatbread and found a piece of plastic in it. I told this to the staff and her response was that “it must have come from the wrapping”. She did not offer to make a new one or a refund. I left and will not return.

Really delicious, amazing sauces and food quality, especially the s-hug (green spicy dip). Ordered last night on uber eats and it came with a handwritten note and complementary tahini brownie. Above and beyond expectations! Only feedback would be that the felafels are placed at the top of the pita only, so once you're 60% through, there's no felafels left. I'd recommend spreading them throughout the pita to maximise your felafel-per-bite ratio.

Fast direkt neben dem Rijksmuseum. Super freundlicher Service, Tramezzini und Kaffee sehr lecker aber das Mexikanische süße Brot und die begeisterte Erzählung dazu waren toll.

Tasty food and big portions compared to what you find in Amsterdam for the same money

Lieve mensen aan het werkt, altijd fijne muziek en het eten is goed. Aanwinst voor de buurt vind ik.

Het eten is prima. Maar ik was hier op een zaterdag om 12.30. Je zou denken dat ze dan klaar zijn om gasten te ontvangen voor de lunch. Er was één andere bestelling voor ons, verder was er niemand. We moesten 35 minuten wachten op ons broodje. In die tijd waren we al twee keer gaan vragen waar onze bestelling bleef. Toen die eindelijk nat 35 minuten arriveerde was er geen enkele uitleg, excuses of verklaring. Gemiste kans. Een vertraging in de keuken kan gebeuren. Hoe je daar als gastheer/vrouw mee omgaat bepaalt de ervaring van de klant. Als men ons uitleg had geven of een drankje voor het wachten was dit gewoon een 5sterren review geweest. Nu dus niet. Jammer.

We were looking for a vegetable based lunch, being done with the meat and cheese focused meals we have been enjoying. This Mediterranean restaurant was perfect! I had a bowl with roasted eggplant and the creamiest hummus, cucumber, tomato, fresh shredded cabbage salad with pickles- so good. We also had a cauliflower pita sandwich- yum! Definitely come here for lunch.

Great food. Eat here a lot. Just very frustrating on busy nights. No real order to how food is being made. People ordering 20 minutes later than you get their food before you (same type of orders). So just very frustrating if you are the one waiting 40 minutes for a pita. But the food makes it worth the wait.

Ik heb onlangs Mima bezocht en ik was absoluut verbluft door de kwaliteit van het eten en de service. De falafel was perfect gekruid en krokant aan de buitenkant, terwijl het van binnen heerlijk zacht was. Het personeel was vriendelijk en attent, en de sfeer was warm en gastvrij. Ik zou dit restaurant aan iedereen aanbevelen die op zoek is naar heerlijke en authentieke falafel in Amsterdam. Een must-visit!

De vriendelijke en attente service viel op, met behulpzaam personeel dat geweldige wijn- en gerechtsaanbevelingen gaf, waardoor mijn eetervaring nog beter werd. De stijlvolle en gezellige sfeer in het restaurant is perfect voor romantische diners of speciale gelegenheden. De muziekkeuze droeg bij aan de ontspannen sfeer, waardoor ik me echt verwend voelde. Een absolute aanrader!

They did everything alright with the concept. The food is healthy and also really abundant. Of course I would recommend it if you are looking for a quick affordable meal. The pita-falafel was really nice both in terms of size and taste. So overall I’m really satisfied. Only one observation: wifi. With wifi the place would be a 11/10 🌞 The girls were amazing and they gave me a little piece of brownie for free (it was delicious) Love it!!!
