A small and unassuming restaurant. We wouldn't have gone in just by looking at it from the outside. The prices are perfectly reasonable. The pasta was very well prepared. Seasoning was available at every table. The service was good and friendly. We were completely satisfied and will gladly return on our next visit! Highly recommended!

The Bolognese pasta is very good, and the pizza is also homemade by the guy, offering excellent value for money, suitable for Amsterdam.

Do not eat here under any circumstances! I spent three days in Amsterdam, stumbled upon this place on a whim, and ordered a salami pizza (for about €12) to take away. After ordering and paying, I was told I'd have to wait ten minutes for my pizza – and that's exactly how long it took before I finally had the pizza box in my hand. Firstly, the pizza was significantly smaller than the space in the box allowed, and secondly, from the very first glance, it reminded me of a frozen pizza that you just throw in the oven. It was perfectly circular, the crust and base were all the same thickness, the tomato sauce and cheese were evenly distributed, the underside had small, flat pores, and the oregano was sparsely and carelessly sprinkled. Once I tasted it, there was no way to sugarcoat it. The salami pizza looked frozen, it smelled frozen, and it tasted frozen. An absolute disgrace! Definitely avoid this place! Feel free to read the other reviews that report the same fraudulent practices, or simply see for yourself. I've learned that from now on, whenever I order food, I'll always take a look at the product before leaving the restaurant to make sure I'm not being served pre-made food. I hope this "restaurant" has to close down as soon as possible!

Warm hospitality serving up a FRESH delicious homemade dinner. quaint setting set in the central District of Amsterdam. Lots of activity out in the alleyway, but warm and cozy inside the restaurant. again, excellent service with great food. Will come again.

At first I was a little skeptical because it is a small shop in an inconspicuous alley, but I was very positively surprised by the cozy atmosphere. I had really delicious garlic bread and really delicious pasta. There aren't many seats but that's mostly great because it won't get too loud. Everyone was really friendly.

It looks very good food but it's tasteless. I had shrimp and my husband spaghetti bolognais (which didn't have much meat) on 2026.03.27 around 7pm As soon as we ate it we vomited within about 2 minutes and we were sick until the next day we had to go to the toilet 🫠

From the outside, the restaurant looks rather unassuming, and to be honest, we probably wouldn't have gone in if we hadn't been curious. The decor is simple and not particularly eye-catching – but that's precisely where it becomes clear that it's not about the appearance, but about the food. We had pasta with pesto, two servings of pasta arrabbiata, garlic bread, and garlic bread with cheese – and everything was truly excellent. The pasta was cooked to perfection, the sauces were rich, fresh, and full of flavor. The arrabbiata, in particular, was pleasantly spicy, not overpowering, simply delicious. The pesto tasted homemade and aromatic. The garlic bread – both classic and with cheese – was also crispy, incredibly flavorful, and wonderfully aromatic. You can immediately tell that good ingredients and a lot of love go into the cooking here. Overall, a truly positive surprise: an unassuming restaurant, but extremely good, honest food. We would come back anytime and can absolutely recommend it – a real insider tip for anyone who appreciates good food. 🍝✨

Restaurant very well located. The food was very well prepared and the waiter, who was the only one, was super helpful and fast. The food was really very good. It was the best meal I had in Amsterdam without a doubt. It seems like a small portion but don't be fooled because the dish is super deep and I couldn't finish it. This waiter should definitely get a raise.

The prices are reasonable considering the taste and the location, but the space is small and you may have to wait for your food because only one person is cooking and serving. We were lucky; there were two couples waiting in front of us, and our order arrived in about 20 minutes. The pasta was absolutely delicious, 10 out of 10, but the pizza and cheese bread were average, they could be given a 6.5-7 rating. Overall, an 8-8.5 rating is appropriate for the establishment.

Yesterday we were passing through Amsterdam and stumbled upon this restaurant. It's tiny and perhaps not something you'd notice at first glance, but the food was delicious. They don't have a huge variety of pasta, but we loved the two dishes we ordered, and the bread rolls were great too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place.

We received terrible service from the moment we entered the place. We should have given up, but we took a chance and deeply regretted it! They didn't tell us that card payments couldn't be split into installments, nor did they give us a chance to resolve the issue at the time of payment. They almost kicked us out, and the place was empty. In short, I absolutely do not recommend it.

Absolutely horrific! I think they should feel ashamed calling that place Italian. Reheated and over boiled pasta, bathing on cream or tomato sauce. Nothing like the Italian Pasta.

I absolutely loved Hasta La Pasta! The pasta here is just amazing!!! fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The portions are really generous, so you definitely won’t leave hungry. The place itself feels super cozy, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. And the prices … compared to so many overpriced restaurants around, this spot feels like a hidden gem top quality food without the crazy bill!!! Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone who loves pasta

A great little restaurant on a side street. We were lucky and it wasn't busy, so we immediately got a table by the window. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious. The restrooms are a little tricky to reach on the first floor via a narrow staircase. Tall people will have to duck their heads, but everything is clean.

The restaurant is so amazing, food is super delicious “true Italian pasta” and clean, also the price is good (I would considerate one of the cheapest) definitely recommend it and coming back for sure.

Ate delicious spaghetti bolognese. Because there weren't many people I had a seat, but it is very small inside.

Very, very delicious, but recently my stomach has been hurting because of it. I gave it two tries and it still hurts, but the one I had didn’t get anything, so I don’t know if the pain is from the food or if there is a problem with my stomach.

The food was good. However, the service left a lot to be desired. When we arrived, the restaurant was completely empty, and we politely asked if we could sit by the window. The server very coldly said “no, sit here,” and pointed us to a table for two near the kitchen. It felt unnecessarily rude, especially considering the place was empty. The overall experience could have been so much better with just a bit more warmth and hospitality.

Wow… 😋 This is definitely a must-try restaurant. A small place, located in one of the alleyways - but really cozy. Super-friendly and very competent staff and the most delicious food 😋 I had the Spaghetti Aglio Olio with prawns, and it was pure pleasure… So delicious and astonishing food at a very affordable price. Our first visit here - and we will definitely be back 😋

Small place but food delicious 😋 fast service. Only thing to complain is that the Menu is like pesto with shrimps but to have cherry tomatoes or veg etc need to pay for. Also if you need pasta chicken and cream only...... the rest ingredients need to pay for. After all its good for fast lunch.

what a nice place this is. a small restaurant with great service. when you enter they show you a place and you get a menu right away. the prices are, especially for amsterdam, great, you eat here for about 20 euros per person. definitely recommended

Put in an order, which was apparently too small to even sit down at an otherwise empty place, but the garlic bread was just grocery store bread with butter and garlic powder and the pasta tasted frozen.

Overpriced food with no taste. Food was bad quality and only tasted like grease. Tax was not on the menu and there was no mention about it on the menu. Pizza was clearly some cheap frozen one. Total tourist trap and would not recommend.

Tourist Trap!! I don’t understand how this restaurant has such high ratings. The people who rated it well must have been absolutely starving after smoking something… First of all, the place is run-down, and the staff is not friendly. As for the food, the pizzas are just frozen pizzas with random toppings thrown on top. You can clearly recognize supermarket frozen pizzas—these are definitely not homemade! The pasta is bland and tasteless. No free tap water is available, and of course, the only water option isn’t listed with a quantity on the menu. Paying the same price for a tiny children’s water bottle as for a Coke is outrageous. Honestly, don’t fall for it—avoid this place at all costs!
