Eaten here for the first time but really enjoyed it. Friendly service and tasty food. One tip: provide a small spoon for the mayonnaise.

We enjoyed sitting on the terrace. Very friendly staff! We found the starter (gyoza and shrimp croquettes) a bit simple, but tasty. The main course was delicious! I don't like spare ribs, but the tender pieces I tasted were very good.

Drank a delicious cocktail and had a delicious lunch. The food that passed by for others also looked excellent. Good value for money. Friendly staff, the interior looks neat, and the toilets are clean.

We had a lovely meal on the terrace with four people. We were served by a tall, slender young man who, despite his age, gave good advice, was very polite, not shy, and very fast. What an asset to this restaurant. A solid 10 from us. The food was delicious.

The food didn't arrive until after an hour; the owner had the excuse that he was waiting for the bread board to be empty first?! After that, it took a long time, and the steak wasn't medium rare as requested. Fries did arrive at the table but were cold again when the meat came back. The vegetables hadn't been reheated. The fries had been thrown back into the fryer because they had been fried for far too long. After complaining a few times, we only received excuses that it was busy, etc. (The restaurant was half full). They didn't even offer us a drink. My father paid; if it had been up to me, I would have paid half. Things can go wrong once in a while, but this topped everything, and then barely an apology and no attempt to find a decent solution, I found very sad.

We did have to wait a bit for the bread board because it still needed to be baked, but the two Royal satay platters were ready quickly afterwards. Everything was nice and hot and cooked through, and the service was attentive, asking if everything was to our liking or if we wanted another drink. Pleasant atmosphere.

We dined at your restaurant on Sunday evening as a couple. My party posted a review in which the owner responded in a very rude manner. Before you respond, you should know the facts and not just speak to a customer like that; it is very unprofessional. There was indeed a reservation, and if it had been busy, we would have understood that completely, but that was not the point; it was about the attitude of an employee, and we don't have to like that. And as an owner, you could also respond to a negative review in a different way. It is a shame because we always came with great pleasure and have always found your staff to be very pleasant, except today, and that can happen. One can learn from reviews, whether positive or negative.

We have been coming here for quite some time and enjoy it very much. The staff is normally always friendly and polite, and the food is always delicious too. Unfortunately, our visit today was a major disappointment. A blonde employee came across as very unfriendly and was not service-oriented at all. She seemed to pay little attention to her guests and gave an irritated and uninterested impression several times. Additionally, many tables remained filled with used plates and glasses for a long time. We also had to wait quite a long time before our order was taken and before we received our drinks. Furthermore, it was noticeable that several guests indicated they had not received any cutlery, and hardly any friendly contact was made, such as a simple "enjoy your meal." The employee also sighed frequently while clearing up, and her attitude came across as arrogant. That made the atmosphere very unpleasant. Her male colleague, on the other hand, did an excellent job. He was friendly, spontaneous, and regularly asked if everything was to our liking. He also worked visibly hard and took over tasks that his colleague clearly had no desire to do. A real asset to the hospitality industry. Fortunately, the food was still fine, but due to the unfriendly service, the entire experience tasted less pleasant than we are used to. I am therefore of the opinion that the hospitality industry is not for everyone, and unfortunately, that became clear today. Hopefully, you will address this and our next experience will be better! In response to the owner's comment, I would like to clarify that my review was not about the busyness. I called beforehand to ask if we could still be seated outside, and according to your employee, this was not a problem. Moreover, upon arrival, there was a "reserved" sign on our table. My review was purely about the service and the attitude of a specific employee. Busyness can always occur, and we understand that, but unfriendliness, sighing at guests, and an arrogant attitude do not belong there. It is a pity that the response mainly points the finger at the guest, whereas the core of the review was about hospitality and dealing with customers. It is especially unfortunate because we normally enjoy coming here and have always been positive about this establishment.

Not cheap, but the food was good. All wines the same price, all bottles €27.95... Three-course menu highly recommended!

It was a bit busy, we had to wait a long time for the food, and some staff were absent. But despite that, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant. They did their best to take care of everything well despite the limited staff. We will definitely come back again.

Wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, spacious layout with several cozy corners, and also room for large groups. Wide variety on the menu and varied menu composition. Very customer-friendly staff. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends. We had the carpaccio and the salmon sandwich, which were truly delicious and highly recommended. We will definitely be back soon.

Waiting 40 minutes for a burger while the restaurant was empty! I don't even want to know how long you have to wait when it's busy! After 40 minutes, you get a burger on a cold bun. Luckily, the burger was still reasonably warm, though it was a bit undercooked inside. The waiter was very friendly and helpful.

Good food, staff really trying their best.

Delicious food. Friendly staff. Pleasant atmosphere. They were incredibly accommodating to our pre-arranged closing time, as we were attending a performance at De Stoep. It's remarkable to see people come in expecting their main course within fifteen minutes (because they're way late themselves) and then still be incredibly critical and dissatisfied. Havenhuys really doesn't deserve that.

We received friendly and prompt service on a Saturday evening, even though almost every table was occupied. Friendly service and excellent food. It's remarkable that the dishes are served with excellent side dishes. We tried the steak and the bass and will be back soon to try other dishes.

For 17,50 € you get a pre-made hamburger. For a restaurant this was the worst quality hamburger for that price I have ever had in NL. I had better at a snack bar, at least they were honest about quality and price.

It started off well, with friendly waiters. The minestrone was tasty, and the avocado fries were great too. It did take a bit longer to get the soup, but that wasn’t a big issue. However, we then had to wait over an hour for two Angus burgers, and when they finally arrived, both the meat and buns were dry and partly burned. When the waiter came to ask if everything was okay, I told him about the overcooked food and long wait—but he simply turned around without saying a word or taking any action. Very disappointing.

Enjoy a nice meal outside on a warm summer evening, friendly service, delicious food and what I found most important: after each course they asked if the next course could come. So not like gulp, pay and go. The unexpected ice fountain for my birthday made it complete.

Nicely decorated business in a newer part of Spijkenisse. Unfortunately, there was too little service, so it took a long time and our group was not seen. The staff present worked hard to make something of it. The spareribs were good, the steak ordered medium rare was well done, the re-delivery was fine, only the sauce was forgotten. Extra fries were delivered quickly. Our experience resulted in a decent four stars out of two points.

We arrived with a group of 4 at 6:00 PM and arrived on time. Had a starter at half past seven and our main course did not arrive until 8 o'clock, we waited an hour and a half for it, no one was hungry anymore, it's a pity that it took so long, but we also thought the food was very mediocre, a pity about this experience.

Very bad we had to wait more than 1.5 hours for our food. When the food finally came it was lukewarm. I had spareribs myself, which were lukewarm and very bland in taste. My wife had tenderloin tips. These were also lukewarm. And all you could taste was garlic. This was the first and last time at the harbor house.

The food was good again, no comment on that, but the service was less so. When the main course arrived they forgot to bring the salad and the fries sauce. When we ordered dessert, they had not yet removed the plates from the main course. These were things that we are not used to with you at all. It was a shame, the experience of a nice evening out for dinner was therefore disappointing.

TOP one of the best spare ribs I had. you put your knife in and the meat falls off like butter, so tender, so tasty. staff was also chill and friendly. Me and a buddy wanted a cocktail and we said whatever and we got a nice drink. At checkout they asked if we wanted a piece of candy so I ordered about 100 and we got a whole bowl full of candy. thank you for the sweets and cavities in my teeth.

Beef tenderloin tips with peppers and mushrooms and garlic sauce. It turned out that we were out of mushrooms, so we only added peppers. Wasn't what I wanted. Garlic sauce was not garlic sauce. Tasteless. It was said that the cook was a substitute. No more Havenhuys for me for the time being.

Bij het zoeken naar een restaurant kwam ik het Havenhuys tegen. Is echt een aanrader . Het is echt een ouderwets gezellig, vriendelijk restaurant. Bij binnenkomst werden we hartelijk welkom geheten . Tijdens het eten paar keer gevraagd of alles naar wens was. Er werd goed in de gaten gehouden of je nog genoeg te drinken had en vriendelijk personeel.. Waar heb je dat nou nog!! Kom zeker terug hier.. Bedankt voor de leuke avond!

Had lunch and now also for dinner. The restaurant itself looks inviting. All the dishes we chose so far looked beautiful and were well prepared. Fresh products are used. The atmosphere is good and the service friendly. There are always some small points to consider, but overall it is definitely worth coming back, even though we don't live in Spijkenisse, that says enough.

Hoewel we in Spijkenisse wonen, waren we niet bekend met dit restaurant. Dat blijkt nu een gemis voor ons. Nu we het ontdekt hebben gaan we zeker vaker terug. Mooi pand met een fijne sfeer, super personeel en overheerlijk eten. Met speciale dank aan Mika😉 die het extra gezellig maakte.

Heerlijk gegeten, vooraf lekkere uiensoep daarna voor mij de varkenshaas medaillons met champignonsaus. Voor mijn man ribeye met pepersaus. Daarbij verse salade en verse patat. Allemaal lekker mals vlees alles vers, dessert limoncello ijs met slagroom. Hele fijne bediening allemaal even vrolijk en vooral klantgericht, gewoon toppers. Zijn hier vaker geweest nooit klachten gehad dus top

We were given a menu for dessert and we sat on the table with it for over half an hour. No one came to ask if we had made a choice. Finally got up and went to pay. We are really not used to you. After an hour we received the starter, and 45 minutes later the main course. The lady at the counter is a very unpleasant lady who barely utters a word. This restaurant, which we visited last Friday, is nicely located in the center of Spijkenisse and has a good atmosphere. Parking is very easy in the nearby very large parking garage and you can reach the restaurant in 2 minutes. The service is attentive and super nice and pays a lot of attention to the customer. As a culinary critic I can only conclude that we had an excellent meal. Something for everyone on the menu. The salmon carpaccio was good, just needed some salt flakes. Good portion of meat (picanha), perfectly prepared (compliments to the chef). Good tenderloin tips. Tasty fries. Filled tasty 'non-standard' salad. Excellent chocolate and cheesecake. Market prices, good portions, we had just enough room for dessert. Extensive beer list with characteristic beers of varying types. The service in particular was pleasant and did everything they could to ensure that the customer had a nice meal, according to the book. Attractive place despite the modern base, good chairs, sitting outside is also possible. We'll be back.
