We ordered a chicken satay and it was very tasty

Food is okay, nothing fancy but not bad. But the service is sooooooo slooooooow. We ordered tostis and frites, it took 30min to get the tostis and another 20min to get the fries ! When you go there with your kids after swimming in the pool and they are super hungry, it is really uncorfortable to make them wait almost a hour to get fries.....

Lovely place to quietly enjoy a tasty meal or drink with good service.

The saté was tender, the sauce had just enough kick, and everything on the plate made sense. No overcomplications, just solid flavors and generous portions. All in all: low-key spot, good food, good service. I’d definitely come back for that saté!

The bar is nice, with reasonably priced drinks for Amsterdam. But what I really want to talk about is the samba they have there! The first time, I went there to have a drink and there was the samba, but the second time, I actually bought tickets! The band is really good, playing samba and pagode for all tastes. It was amazing! The event happens once a month. It’s called Samba Roots, and ir happens every month!

A wonderful place to relax! What a nice and atmospheric place to relax. I sat at a cozy little table with my cappuccino and enjoyed the special view. People swimming on my left, a fitness room with sporty visitors on my right – a unique combination that created a lively, yet relaxed atmosphere. It was a fun and special experience. Perfect for those who want to enjoy a cup of coffee in a nice environment. Definitely a place I would like to return to! ☕✨

What a unique and fun place! There is a gym upstairs and a swimming pool below, which immediately makes for a special experience. While you enjoy a nice cup of coffee, you can watch people swimming through a glass screen. This certainly makes it a nice and relaxing environment to unwind. The Polish employee behind the bar was incredibly friendly and helpful. He made me feel immediately at ease. The service was fast and attentive, which is always nice. It was also striking how neat and clean it is here, both in the café and the other areas. This definitely contributes to the pleasant atmosphere. An original and atmospheric place that I can definitely recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again.

I was here last weekend with a very large group and we all enjoyed it immensely! The food was really delicious, from starter to main course, everything was perfectly prepared. The service was incredibly helpful and friendly, they really made it a great evening for us. What I also really liked was the beautiful space; it has an attractive appearance, perfect for a cozy dinner with friends or family. Finally, the music was super good. I can absolutely recommend the Platsoen to anyone looking for a top experience in Amsterdam!

Het Plantsoen in Amsterdam is a great spot for events and also serves as a restaurant. I visited for a music event, and the vibe was great! Had a fun time overall. The staff were friendly and got some nice drinks from the bar. Definitely a place I’d return to, and maybe try the restaurant next time too!

We celebrated my friend's 30th birthday party here. In one word it was fantastic! A live singer was allowed to come, we were allowed to decorate everything and the European Championship match could be followed on the big screen with good images and sound. You can also relax on the terrace on a sunny afternoon/evening. The contact with Frits and Jaap was very pleasant and they were super flexible. All the staff did a great job and everyone had a great evening! 👏🏼🥳⚽️

We went today x lunch and it was amazing breakfas with Annia waitres and shes lovevly to help us with the menu and with fast servicy and smiling face happy woman to work .,,,,hi really reccomended this place x breakfast or lunch really fresh food and healty

Super cozy place to have a cup of coffee after exercise. Service is excellent, always friendly and personal. Have eaten here a few times. The price/quality is excellent and there are vegetarian options. Overall a nice place to be.

Delicious and fresh Triple toasti and a cup of cappuccino enjoyed here after a walk in the neighborhood. They have a beautiful terrace and the business is easily accessible by public transport, tram 5 stops in front of the door. Cozy atmosphere and the interior is neatly and cozy furnished. The service is fast, the prices are reasonable and the staff friendly. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

The cafe is under new management, and you can really notice the difference. Good coffee, fresh food and friendly service make it worth your while to stop by for a quick bite after a swim. It's a spacious venue, with lots of comfy couches & high ceilings. There is a lovely terrace overlooking the canal, where you can catch the sun all day. They also have a great selection of beers from Two Chefs Brewing.

Fijn om hier wat te nuttigen na het zwemmen. Wel jammer dat er geen kinderstoelen zijn. Daardoor kunnen we niet na het babyzwemmen hier terecht.
