Ordered a while ago with extremely slow delivery, mediocre sushi and no reachable phone number.

The order arrived two hours late, and I couldn't contact them (the phone number doesn't work). The sushi was of poor quality, with brown avocado and an ugly finish. There were also bones in almost every piece of salmon. Avoid!

Ordered 2 poke bowls and a salmon roll, it arrived within 40 minutes and the poke bowls were delicious and the salmon roll was freshly made

Had to wait an hour and a half for the food, and then it was canceled. Very unfriendly staff!

I used to order here almost every week. Today they forgot the fried rice, even though it was included in the order and I'd even called beforehand. After calling again, they only wanted to bring new fried rice, not a new chicken dish. The chicken was cold, and they didn't cooperate. Very poor service, especially as a regular customer. Such a disappointing reaction.

Absolutely blown away! 5 stars isn’t enough! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I had an issue where UberEats didn’t deliver my order, but what happened next truly amazed me. Next Day The owner of Hiro Sushi personally came over to deliver the food , now that’s what I call dedication and heart. 🙌 The sashimi was incredibly fresh, the sushi beautifully made and delicious. Every bite was a reminder of why Hiro Sushi stands out. Massive love and a big WOW to Hiro Sushi , not just for the quality food, but for the exceptional service and care. You’ve definitely earned a loyal customer!

Hiro Sushi really deserves 5 stars! The food is incredibly delicious – everything is super fresh and prepared with care. You can just taste the quality with every bite. The staff is also incredibly friendly and hospitable. They make you feel welcome right away. A truly top experience, every time. Recommended for anyone who loves sushi!

Normally I don't leave reviews but I really wanted to do it here. They only deliver from 35 euros and charge 8 euros delivery fee, very expensive but I don't live around the corner so okay. The food arrived on time and the boy who delivered it was friendly. But when I opened the bag the entire container of sauce was empty and it was spread throughout the bag. In addition, I had added extra ingredients because otherwise I would not have reached the delivery fee. I missed a few of them and half the poke bowl was filled with lettuce. I would like to add that this is my only experience with Hiro Sushi. Maybe the sushi is delicious but these are important points for improvement. Unfortunately I was not satisfied this time.

More than 2 hours waiting and only after an hour message without further information. And then they threaten that they will not give a goodwill discount unless we remove the bad review. Avoid this tent!

This was the WORST sushi I have ever eaten in my entire life!!! The food tastes like food poisoning, totally cheap and like plastic. There is no taste explosion in the mouth. Also, I received an incorrect order. My crispy sushi was left out. The meat tastes like it has already expired. Overall it doesn't taste fresh and seems unhygienic to me. The quality of the food is just not good. Never again !

Belachelijk! Bizar slechte tent. Ze serveren dingen die over datum zijn en bereiden ze niet eens op de goeie manier. Als je geen voedselvergiftiging wilt, ga dan alsjeblieft ergens anders heen!

Worst company ever. They served bad food and didn't want to give money back until i placed a bad review. Then they messaged me that in order for them to give me a refund i was required to delete the review. The owner is super unfriendly and denies everything. Don't order or visit this place!

ik ben er voor de 2e keer ingetrapt, als ik tempura bestel wil ik de garnaal gefrituurd, en niet de hele sushirol inclusief de rijst, nog daargelaten dat het in zeer grote hompen wordt geleverd. werkelijk te goor voor woorden, heeft niks met sushi te maken. dezelfde ervaring eerder gehad, maar bij de 2e keer was ik vergeten dat zij het waren die alles in de frituur gooien. Dus nu de bon met NOOIT MEER maar bewaard

best pokebowl i remember , super fast delivery and the ingredients were fresh and plenty full. normally, when you are half way through a pokebowl, you only have stale rice left but this one was full of yummy stuff still and the rice was fresh and well cooked

This is truly the best sushi I have ever eaten! Ebi dragon and crispy ebi are really my favorite.

Ordered here regularly. Food is fine. In the last year, delivery has always been at least 40 minutes later than agreed. The last time for us.

In my opinion the best sushi in Amstelveen.

(Ate delivery, so that may have impacted the quality of the dishes.) The katsu was fairly good, slightly less crunchy than what I like, but I wouldn’t doubt that is due to delivery time. The rice was sticky and perfectly moist. The unagi nigiri was really disappointing, however. The eel was overdone and tough. Though the piece of meat was decently sized, it was certainly underwhelming.

Gisteravond hebben wij genoten van overheerlijke sushi van Hiro. Alles zag er even mooi en smakelijk uit en was supervers. Bovendien was de wasabi heerlijk smeuïg en zat de soy sauce in handige schenkkannetjes. Wij gaan hier zeker weer afhalen!

When I choose the restaurant where I order my food, time is very important to me. I skip restaurants that indicate they need an hour. Hiro sushi are a bunch of scammers claiming to take 20-45 minutes. I just waited 110 minutes for my food. At one point I called the lying manager because he himself did not have enough education to call a customer when something goes wrong. He added another lie by stating that the delivery person was already on his way. Despite the 5 minute travel time, it still took 25 minutes. I will never order from here again and I don't recommend it to anyone!

The delivery person may sometimes drive less fast than 80 through the old village and along the cycle path.

I just found out that this company does not give the tip given in the home delivery app to the delivery people. A sushi with crab is also delivered even though it was not ordered AND we had specifically indicated that someone has a shellfish allergy. Last time I ordered there. Food: fine in itself, but considering the above comment, perfectly interchangeable with another sushi farmer.

Food is great!!!! Regularly ordered sushi from Hiro, but haven't been for a long time due to the Pandemic. Just tried to order and pick up. The employee said I had to do it online (never had to do it in the past 20 orders). Tried it anyway, the site did not work properly, both Google Chrome and Safari. So I called back again, I still had to order it on 'delivery' and have it delivered to their address, because they knew I was coming. Taking all that effort for one poke bowl order over the phone... I'll try again when they put a competent employee behind the phone.

The only place where I like salmon is a really great place

Van de week heb ik hier sushi afgehaald. Wat ik zo jammer vind aan het afhalen of laten bezorgen van sushi is dan ook vaak de prijs. En ook hier bij Hiro Sushi sla je er eigenlijk stijl van achterover. Ik had drie rollen sushi voor 14 euro. Dwz 9 hapjes sushi, california roll, avocado zalm en garnaal. De grootte van een hapje is prima, maar de smaak is vlak, ik miste wat bite aan mn sushi. De Garnaal proefde ook niet alsof ie net gebakken was, was de temperatuur overigens ook niet naar. De zaak oogt trouwens nieuw, maar ook zeer rommelig, ze zouden een scheidingswand moeten plaatsen tussen het rollen van de sushi en hetgeen dat lijkt op kantoor of iets dergelijks. Personeel is verder vriendelijk. review 8-5-2016

Wilden even snel wat lekkers eten en hadden wel zin in sushi. Er zitten hier 2 sushi restaurants vlak naast elkaar, dus lastig kiezen. Kozen voor Hiro en dat was de juiste gok! Ben gewend dat het klaarmaken van verse sushi nog wel eens lang kan duren, maar dat viel hier ontzettend mee. Ook de warme gerechtjes die we besteld hadden, waren vrij snel klaar. Met grote tas vol heerlijkheden naar huis. Tas was goed gevuld met extra gember, zakjes sojasaus met bakjes ervoor en chopsticks. Sushi was super lekker! Zag meerdere mensen hun telefonisch bestelde eten afhalen. Goed om te weten. En volgens mij bezorgen ze ook aan huis. Er staan een paar krukjes als je je sushi liever ter plekke op eet. Miss dat jullie dat nog ietsje gezelliger kunnen maken.

I've been on a special diet for the last 3 weeks and it's been driving me crazy. Everywhere I went I would ask please could you leave this out or that out since I am not allowed to eat these things (long list). This is the first takeout place which were actually willing to listen and accommodate my diet. It felt so good to eat something different. So thank you to the chef last Sunday for helping me get through this week. On a separate note, this is our go to sushi place. Great sushi.

Fresh sushi of very high quality. Not cheap, but very tasty!

We showed up for takeaway.. The menu was extensive, the sushi was quickly prepared with skill and elegance. The finer points often missing with sushi takeaway were there, including some homemade learning chopsticks for my daughter. Delicious.

Great authentic Suhi. The sashimi tasted really fresh and the maki were lekker. I didn't eat in though I had it delivered.
