Delicious food and beautiful atmosphere!

I would like to expressly state that the quality of the food served on both visits met my expectations to an exceptional degree. The culinary creations were of outstanding quality in terms of both taste and presentation and thus offered an excellent gastronomic experience, which in my opinion, despite the simple ambience and amateur service as well as the exclusively handwritten Japanese menu card, is to be classified as praiseworthy. What a gem! A little piece of Japan in the Netherlands. Everything is perfect. The polite people, a Japanese program on TV, and delicious, authentic Japanese food. We felt like we were back in Japan for a moment. Thank you so much, and until next time!

Very good food, get the kaarage. Hidden gem.

Grilled mackerel was well done. Fish oils were melting but kept in the fillet very well. Chef was very good with grilling thr fish surely. Teriyaki chicken don was a bit too less. Salad was not suppose to be in the bowl. Mayonaise was not home made. Too thick too plant in its taste. Presentation was missing touches of "home cook" however either in restaurant style tho. Spicy Tofu was something higher than expectation. Thought it would be greasy with annoying heat in throw, but it was not at all. Spicy was very balanced with great trxture from nuts and cracks crumbles. Great combination.

It was my first time in the Netherlands, and I went there after work near my hotel, and I had a really fun and delicious meal. Next time I will visit you to try the katsudon and ginger grilled rice bowl. thank you very much.

Very authentic, not your typical ramen and sushi restaurant. Just very Japanese and very Japanese food. I Recommend!

I came back here after 5 years. The atmosphere was a little less, I had the feeling that the staff was a little less motivated. I had some tasty but not spectacular food.

A lady runs the warm Japanese restaurant on her own, catering mainly to regulars from the local Japanese community. Customers pick from a small menu on the board, as she cooks and chats from behind the counter in the open kitchen. The menu changes quite often, but you can expect to find Katsudon and Oyakodon on it most of the time.

This unpretentious little place looks very nice from the outside, but upon entering I could already feel the mood hanging in the air. The waitress/cook was not having her day. Cordiality and friendliness were hard to find. The food couldn't make up for it either. With katsu you expect a crispy crust. Although the meat was wonderfully tender and well-seasoned, the crust was a soggy, limp morsel. Very little love in the food. Pity.

It was a feast. I was healed by authentic Japanese food. I was also happy to connect with Ibaraki!

This restaurant is real Japanese taste and all menu perfect taste! My personal recommend is KATSUDON. And this restaurant owner Yumiko is very kind and so funny! Thank you for always give me great time!!

Sat in company from 1800 to 2200. Drank, ate and sang karaoke. Very cosy! Delicious food, tasty drinks and very friendly staff.

Very good restaurant. The oyakodon is excellent! . Too bad for the location which does not allow the restaurant to exploit its full potential

It’s delicious, but maybe it’s Saturday night, so late that there’s no ramen and there’s no extra rice.

I used it at a drinking party. We have interesting staff and a drum set and guitar that you can use freely. Anyway, it has a fun Japanese izakaya atmosphere, so it might be a good idea to go to the after-party (^^)

I had their tempura udon which was very authentic and good. Service was great and efficient. Will definitely go back here next time I'm in the neighbourhood.

My parents and I went for lunch here on a quiet Thursday to celebrate my birthday. It feels like a wonderfully authentic place. I ordered the gyoza and small hotpot and it was delicious! I wish I lived nearer so I could visit more often. We became instant fans! Of both the restaurant and Ginger the dog. :)

Don't be put off by the location, because Nagomi is a super nice restaurant where you feel like you are in Japan. Delicious noodle soups, tempura, takoyaki, sashimi... I keep coming back and that says enough.

Taste is better than average. Price can be overpriced or so-so. You can enjoy but it may be not the best.

Euro 20 lunch udon looks like kid udon without any side dish. There was a big dog in the restaurant and this is not good for hygiene. I will never visit here again.

Lovely traditional Japanese restaurant, decent portion size and nice staff

Zin in een lunch kwamen we hier toevallig terecht. Een klein en gezellig Japans eetcafé, waar ook veel Japanners zitten te eten. Groene thee en limonade staan op tafel, je kunt zelf pakken. De kaart is uitgebreid, soms wat moeilijk kiezen omdat niet alles bekend is maar het personeel is behulpzaam. Heerlijk bowl met rijst, kip en ei gegeten. We komen zeker terug om nog meer van de kaart te proeven.

Enjoyed the delicious food, but four stars because I found the chef quite blunt and the price high for the size of the portions.

Small Japanese restaurant inside a shopping center in the south of Amsterdam. Typical dishes of oriental cuisine; they range from various noodle dishes, to tepaniaki, fried dishes and finally various soups. There is also enough choice in drinks (beer, sake, cold drinks, etc.). The place is not pretentious but the food is good. There are also many manga you can read during the meal. Friendly and helpful staff in true oriental tradition.

Direct bij binnenkomst heb je het gevoel alsof je bij een Japanse familie op bezoek bent. Deze sfeer wordt versterkt door het eten, dat oogt en smaakt alsof een vriend(in) uit Japan zojuist een maaltijd voor je heeft bereid. De bediening is vriendelijk, maar spreekt voornamelijk Engels en Japans. De prijzen zijn echter wel wat aan de hoge kant: voor 2 hoofdgerechten met bijbehorende bijgerechten, kopje thee en spa rood waren we €42 kwijt.

Had great katsudon and delicious gyoza. Even my very picky son loved it. The waitress was the friendliest I have ever experienced. In my opinion the prices are very favorable. A gem of a restaurant in a 'boring' shopping center somewhere in a suburb. I'm going to come here more often. Arigato gozaimasu!

There are various kinds such as katsudon and tempura bowl, and they are quite delicious. I also appreciate that the rice bowl comes with a side dish.

Great, authentic Japanese food if you are in the neighbourhood. Surprisingly it is sometimes quite here, during the week. Service is great, friendly, and very attentive. A good place to enjoy a lunch or dinner with family.

After visiting Nagomi for a few years now for both lunch and dinner I can tell you that it is a great place. The quality of the food is constant: always fresh and always very tasteful!

The taste is just fine, nothing too special. It is hidden inside the building.

Authentic Japanese restaurant. I ordered the don with pork chops and eggs. Taste was excellent. Same goes for the udon noodles that my friends ordered. Ice cream (green tea, sesame) was good, but I recommend that the chef not add chocolate, cream, and waffle next to the ice cream in the future.
