A truly Italian restaurant, no "fungi" instead of mushrooms, no "bruscetta" or cream in the carbonara. Truly good food. I had the risotto of the day: strawberries, pistachio cream, and burrata. Seriously good. My boyfriend had the paccheri alla gricia, really tasty and with guanciale and pecorino.

August 2024: What a delight! The food was delicious - both pasta and tiramisu. The waiters were great. A real taste of Italy 🙂 We definitely recommend the place to anyone who enjoys Italian food. Review updated in late July 2025: What a disappointment! I told a friend that it was gonna be a great experience but it felt nothing like in August 2024. The risotto was way too expensive (26€!) and the size of an appetizer. We could have eaten 3 portions before being full 🤨 We left the place hungry - and a bit angry, too. It didn’t feel like a tourist trap last year but it does now. And I miss the nice waiter that worked there last year: he was very helpful and did his best to make you feel comfortable. I no longer recommend this place and won’t go there ever again. 2 stars cos I took my 2024’s experience into account.

It's hard to understand the positive reviews and the queue outside the establishment. After a 40-minute wait, we discovered a noisy place, both because of the music and the noise of the staff behind us making dishes. It doesn't make you want to stay, but that seems to be the purpose of the restaurant when you see what happened to us afterwards... We ordered the trofi alla bolognese and the pappardelle zucchine e speck. This is where the absurdity begins. We decided to ask for bread, and the waiter didn't tell us that it was chargeable. We realized this when he entered it into his machine. And I don't think it was specified on the menu either. The same unpleasant surprise with the carafe of water, which was also chargeable. We discovered this on the bill at the end. And that's when the worst comes to the worst. As soon as we finished our last bite, the waiter asked us if we would like dessert or coffee. Being disappointed with the meal, we just wanted to leave. The waiter decided to take our drinks and our carafe of water which were not finished at all before we even got up to leave. A way of telling us to get out. Between the moment we sat down at the table and the moment the waiter decided to take our drinks without our agreement, not even 1 hour had passed... An experience all the more disappointing because we did not find the dishes extraordinary, they were okay but nothing more.

Unfortunately, I can't confirm the many positive reviews. It's a cute little place. We were lucky and got a table spontaneously. The dishes (carbonara, burrata) weren't particularly tasty. 🤷‍♂️😢

The atmosphere is a little loud and crampy as the shop is small and its always packed and you have to queue for 10-15 minutes. The food though was delicious and tasted better than some restaurants i visited in Italy!

A friend of mine and I had dinner at this restaurant. It was really good and the place was very welcoming. We really appreciated the kindness and helpfulness of the waiters, especially the young man who served us, Jacopo.

Went there for lunch, walk in and no reservation, and got seated very quickly. The food is incredible, and even though once we arrived they were a bit understaffed, we managed to get our order quickly.

We had high hopes for this place after reading the reviews. We had a 20minute wait to get a table but the wait was 100% worth it!!! We had starters, mains and a dessert to share. Pasta was so fresh and full of flavour, the customer service was excellent and the entire experience felt very authentic. Well Done II Vicolo, would highly recommend.

An incredible disgrace... he asked us to wait 10-15 minutes and while we waited he only seated foreigners. After half an hour of waiting we were forced to leave... zero respect.

A small shop in a nondescript alley, but if you're Italian or an Italian fan, and you're not looking for the usual pizza, but for tagliatelle carbonara, a caprese salad, and a mouthwatering tiramisu, you've come to the right place. Really delicious.

The food is a little above average, good, but in the higher price segment. The staff are friendly until you've ordered. The starter was still unfinished when the main course arrived and the rest of the starter had to be returned. My companion also hadn't finished her main course and someone tried to take her plate as they walked past. We prevented this. The bill already arrived and he was disappointed that there was no tip. We didn't even get a chance to have a cigarette afterwards as the table had been given to someone else. All in all, not recommended. The atmosphere outside the restaurant is okay, but not a highlight. If you really want to eat there, you should sit outside. It's far too loud inside and very unpleasant.

Lovely little restaurant with great service and delicious pasta! Can’t recommend the pistachio and burrata tagliatelle enough!!! The bread was also delicious, as was the pistachio tiramisu. A bit pricey, but not outrageous, especially given the location. Come early for dinner - we got the last two person table before a queue started.

I tried to order the Bolognese that was clearly on the menu outside, but they said they ran out of ingredients so I couldn't. So I ordered Aglio Olio, which was definitely the worst pasta I've ever had in my life... I expected it to be moist but the noodles were dry and had no flavor at all, it just tasted like I was chewing flour.

We went back today. It's a good Italian restaurant. We came to try the pasta and were amazed. The service was top-notch, as was the food. I recommend the tagliatelle with pistachio and burrata, a perfect combination. Highly recommended.

Food average to good. We waited in line for at least 45 minutes for dinner!

The waiters were friendly and the service went well. However, the mozzarella had a spicy taste, as if it had gone bad, and the truffle pasta was very disappointing. It didn't taste like truffle at all. The charcuterie was very good. We saw a rat running down the street. Quite expensive for the quality. We were disappointed.

The food was stunning, very very nice. I would highly recommend going there for lunch/ dinner. The place is a bit small so we had to wait for 20/25 min to get a table, but once we sat and ordered, the food was at our table in no time.

A very good Italian restaurant serving only fresh pasta and antispati to share. The pasta isn't cheap, it's a bit pricey, but it's very good. We'd walked past it several times, and there were often queues, especially in the evening. We ate there one lunchtime, and it wasn't very busy, so it was very pleasant. Seating is available on the terrace or inside. We had zucchini and speck pasta (€24) and olive, garlic, and pepper pasta (€16), simple but very good! One star less for charging €1 for water, even though it's tap water and we only had two small bottles...

I ordered spaghetti with shrimp and tomato sauce. It was incredibly bland, salty, and barely cooked. I like it al dente, but this was very, very rare. My wife ordered tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms. Hers was also so overcooked that it tasted like mud. Unfortunately, we weren't satisfied. We won't be going back.
