We've been coming here with great pleasure for 15 years. Tonight was delicious again. The food is prepared with love and care, a true family restaurant. Come and try it.

I ate here twice with my son. We enjoyed the food so much the first time that a second visit was a must! The atmosphere was cheerful, and the food was excellent.

The shrimp pasta was very good.

My wife tried to do a walk-in at 6:45PM and the restaurant was empty with all slots open online for reservation. The restaurant host saw that she was carrying a small baby on her and asked the owner if they "had space" and the owner said no. Either visible minority discrimation or discrimination because she had a child on her (whom was sleeping). We dine out a lot at great restaurants and never experienced this service. I wouldn't go if I was a family and there is a great Italian restaurant right next door with great service that deserves your business.

I remember last year I was so eager to write a review about Savini, but I was unable to for a while. Now that I can, I would like to highlight the authenticity of this Italian restaurant, although being quite far from Italy. Both the staff and food were of very high quality and very pleasing. All in all, the best Italian restaurant I have been to! I would recommend this place any time! Thank you Savini! ❤️🙏

Great authentic Italian food here, quite reminiscent of Venice. Recommend the eggplant, carpaccio, and linguine vongole (clam sauce) which was chock full of strictly fresh clams. Also the creme Brule was absolutely dynamite (and I am quite critical of this dessert as I make it myself). Weird moment was that we ordered dessert and limoncello, which we then enjoyed. We then asked for the check and were offered free limoncello. But we had just finished this! It's the custom in Italy to provide limoncello at the end of the meal. Wished they would have just not charged us for the limoncello we ordered. But... This meal was still quite fabulous and we intend to go back again!

Nice, friendly staff and owner. Had the osso buco 2 nights in a row -- best I've ever had. Wife had the lamb first night, spaghetti bolognese the second. Salads and tiramisu also excellent. Ate outside both nights, and they were truly our best meals in 9 days in Amsterdam. Thanks! Joel G.

The restaurant was recommended by a bar several doors up. The sea bass I ordered was quiet flavorful and the ambience was lovely. However, our reception into the establishment not very welcoming. After asking to be seated, the owner and waiter showed indifference with my partner's rest room the request. After that, the service and attitude was clear, we were not truly welcomed. More accommodations was given to the two loud, vulgar white couples that were there. Was it a thing of two black men, or Italy's history with Hannibal?

I was displeased with the service. Initially when we entered the restaurant we were met with some apprehension. My partner asked to be seated and I asked for the location of the toilet. I felt as though the staff did not want me to use the toilet because they may have thought that I was not a patron. Both I and my partner are Black male tourist from America. I do not recall the waiter asking us about our meal as we ate. In fact, I had to ask for bread.

A cozy, authentic restaurant with very friendly and attentive service. We had an aperitif, a charcuterie platter to share, a pasta dish each, and crème brûlée for dessert.

Our server Tony was amazing. He recommended the Ravioli con Fungi and it was to die for!! Marco the chef knows his stuff!! Great little restaurant near central station! It’s a must try when in Amsterdam!

The food was delicious, and they have a very extensive menu. The service was good; they were quick to take our orders, and when we were done, they also cleared the tables quickly. Italian music plays in the restaurant, which creates a pleasant atmosphere while dining. Highly recommended!

Excellent, typically Italian dishes. If you want to eat truly Italian, come here. Vino tonnato would rival any Italian restaurant. Penne all'amatriciana is excellent, with real guanciale.

We were in town for a family vacation and happened upon this gem in the center of Amsterdam. The food was awesome, the service was flawless, (ask for Marco, his guidance and attention to detail is amazing). Family friendly, outside dining was great, all 3 pasta dishes were delicious, the pizza was expertly prepared, and the calamari was the best I’ve had in years, (though my wife liked the eggplant parm even better!) Try the espresso martini, you won’t be sorry!

Best food and service in Amsterdam

A very nice restaurant. The food is authentic Italian, no soggy Dutch pizzas on the menu. The host is very polite, and the food was delicious. Highly recommended!

The food was excellent – we had tagliatelle with salmon and a pizza Margherita with burrata, both incredibly delicious. The service was attentive and very friendly. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting – we felt completely at home.

I’ve been all over the U.S trying Italian food, but this place took first place. The food is season to perfection and the ambience was amazing. I would fly back to Amsterdam to enjoy their food again. HIGHLY recommend.

Our hotel recommended Savini, and we’re so glad they did! I ordered the mushroom risotto and gnocchi in tomato sauce—both were absolutely delicious. The food was full of flavor, portions were just right, and prices were very reasonable. The service was friendly and welcoming. ***Tip: ask to sit on the upper level—the ambiance there is even nicer, though we only noticed it as we were leaving. Overall, great food and a great experience!

The food was very Italian and tasty

The restaurant is very nice and delicious. We ordered chicken and mushroom pasta, truffle ravioli, and burrata salad. They were very delicious.

We sat down to eat after passing many restaurants and finally sat down and were really not disappointed. We ordered a Margherita pizza and pasta with chicken and mushroom cream. It was delicious and filling. Fast and pleasant service. We will be back.

I had the Pasta Frutti di Mare. It was excellent! The wine sauce is light and flavorful. My wife had the Penne All'Amatriciana. While sauce can be ordered to however spicy you like. Some of the best made and authentic Italian I have ever had. Even in Italy! The Tiramisu was excellent as well!

Absolutamente increíble comida y servicio en Savini - uno de los mejores restaurantes italianos que he tenido. La pizza y los ravioles de trufa son deliciosos como lo son Luciano y Marco. Tan bueno que tuvimos que volver a cenar de nuevo. Sin duda volveremos y lo recomiendo a cualquiera que busque auténtico italiano.

Perfect location, perfect meal, and staff that you can say "u" to. The zucchini with garlic and shrimps was delicious and also a "simple" bolognese tasted like more! Finished with tiramisu and crema catalana. Have another glass of Montepulciano and you will leave with a big smile!

Our concierge at the Park Plaza Victoria hasn't been wrong since check in, so it was a no brainer to follow his recommendation tonight. What a pleasurable evening, food and service was exceptional, tastes were fresh and new, and everyone very accommodating to our requests. Thank you Luciano and your friends.

Nice and well-kept place that prepares Italian dishes, a good compromise for those who want to rediscover Italian cuisine abroad, and for foreigners who would like to try it. The menu is quite varied, carefully described with ingredients and allergens. The prices are high but they justify the quality of the raw materials used, which is quite rare in this city. The service was fast but courteous and clean. The waiter from the Marche region was very nice.

Excellent, amazing and truly Italian food (unlike other restaurants that offer Italian dishes) Really kind and very comfortable environment!! Quality Italian flavors!! Everything exceptional!!! We had dinner in 4 ordered various courses: They offered us really good warm bread and homemade butter!! Super truffle ravioli!! Amazing carbonara!! Delicious clam pasta! Tagliatelle with ragout exceptional!! Excellent tiramisu!! For my 11 year old Italian son it was the best restaurant in the world!

We came for dinner as a family. We were looking for an affordable and pleasant restaurant in the city center of Amsterdam. The dishes were very good. The interior is warm, the only problem is the lack of space and we couldn't split the bill but that didn't taint our experience. I recommend this restaurant!

Very tasty lasagna. Hard to make such a traditional dish standout, but they do. Only a few bites into my dish and already ordered a second helping.

Even without a reservation, we were kindly given a table for two. Very friendly staff! The food – spaghetti Bolognese and veal escalope in Gorgonzola sauce – was also very tasty. We felt very comfortable. Thank you!

It didn't feel like you were in Amsterdam with this cuisine. Truly Italian flavors. Starting from the simple but good appetizer of cold cuts, the excellent fried calamari (frying at the top), the exquisite pastas: the carbonara without cream and made with the right standards, penne with fresh sausage, risotto with asparagus and prawns and baked sea bass. All really good. Enrico, our Italian waiter from Sardinia served us very well and very quickly. Fair prices. Generous portions. We will return in 2 years for the next Aquatech fair.

We found this little place across from our hotel in Amsterdam. The place is so quaint and the service, with Tony,and food were phenomenal. We enjoyed two items off of their special menu as well as the Caprese appetizer. Don’t miss your chance for some amazing Italian in Amsterdam.

Stumbled across this place one evening in Amsterdam - the restaurant is cozy & quaint, and the service was friendly and welcoming. I ordered the special Salmon Cacciatore and my friend ordered shrimp risotto. Both meals were absolutely delicious!!! Soooo good! The presentation was delightful 😊 We would absolutely go back next time we're in Amsterdam! Must try!
