Awesome food and people working there were really kind to me. I opted for some sandwiches and the sandwich dough was simply sensational. I'll go back to taste the pasta, it seems delicious. It's a bit hot on the inside though.

Sandwiches and some very good Tuscan dishes. It was hot inside the place in August, but we still had a great meal. The place itself doesn't have any special charm... They take all the food away!

I had two sandwiches and a lasagna, all good, typical Italian, you can decide whether to stop and eat there or take away, friendly owner.

Got a cold slice of pizza. The staff just grabbed it with bare hands and packed it. Continued to touch the cash register and moved on to another customer. Definitely could invest in some tongs.

Very nice place. We have been here twice this summer with my boyfriend. We have had pasta, sausages, lasagna, and a delicious italian dessert with cream inside.The food tastes real, made with real ingredients and traditional Italian spices like Rosemary and Thyme.The owner is nice to talk to, hard working man, you can tell. Any time we will travel to Amsterdam, we want to continue visiting this gem of a place. It is worth it.

I read good things about this place but all there was to be had was what was already pre-prepared, a very small selection, no alterations, no changes, nothing to order, even though at the time there were no other customers waiting. I'm sure it's good, if you can eat anything but if you have allergies, this is not your place.

Changing my previous review and rating from 5 to 2 after today. It was really busy, was waiting in the queue around 12 minutes. When my turn came, the owner looked at me and said „Ciao!” (so he saw me, and acknowledged me) and skipped right over to serve a group of 4 Italian tourists queuing behind me. I’ve been coming to this place for 7 years and honestly it’s not the first time I’ve seen the owner giving priority to Italian customers, this time was just one time too many and I’ve run out of patience. So much for appreciating loyal local patrons :/ Zero stars for the service. Two stars are for the food which is better than most of what’s available in that area.

Had an amazing spicy salami panini. Tomatoes were so tasty and great cheese too. Bread was thin and had a little crunch… exquisite. They were selling individual meatballs too! I got a lasagna to-go because it looked so good.

Amazing authentic Italian deli. I was genuinely taken back by how good the pasta dish we had here for lunch was. It's a shame I only found this place on the last day of my trip. Otherwise, I would have returned to eat here again. Whilst nearby I noticed a lot of local people, builders and workers going here which to me is a great sign. I would highly recommend coming here for a bite to eat to anyone visiting Amsterdam. I can't wait to return.

Unforgettable experience with Paolo! He prepares every day an incredible and very tasty food in that "little and cute Deli" in Amsterdam city centre! He has got many vegetarian choices too! A special mention for the coffee.. outstanding!

I had a sandwich that looked somewhat decent but the bread was dry like sand, needed some water with sandwich so I can swallow my bite. Also the bread/ingredient ratio was high, the bread suppressed the whole taste.

My friend and I got a snitty sandwich here a little while ago and found it to be of very average quality. The sandwich looked semi decent in the display but lacked proper filling itself and wasn't spread out properly too. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly, yet rushed customers a bit in determining what their order would be. The display with all products looked okay and displayed various pastries. The second display has a lot of stains and dirt in the display itself which makes me question the hygiene of the place. Ingredients were touching the bottom of the display without any bowl or dish underneath. With all the sandwich options in Amsterdam, I wouldn't recommend getting yours here.

Authentic Italian food, quite handy as right in the city centre, if you want to grab a quick bite and tasty at the same time without paying a fortune, this is the place for you! The owners were really friendly and helpful.

Gastronomy is a hidden treasure in the heart of Amsterdam! The service is wonderful and the food is delicious! The lasagna is fantastic and the tiramisu is really delicious. We will definitely be back!

We come here almost every day. Eating pasta, stew or the salami sandwhich. What makes the place so great are the quality of the ingredients, the classic simplicity of the dishes and the warm authentic italian vibes.

Incredible find just close to our hotel. Savoury snacks were so good one day, went back another for some true Italian hearty dishes. Are in, was quick simple and easy. No fuss dining, and all produce is fresh and authentic. Will go back here every time I visit the city now!

Amazing Italian Deli! When I came in I immediately felt at home, the people running the shop are such sweethearts and also put on very nice music. I tried their lasagna which is one of the best I ever had, they offer many other dishes too. I will definitely come back to try more of their products!

A miracle in this day and age. I can only recommend a little stop here to everyone. A piece of genuine Tuscany in the middle of Amsterdam. Please stay as you are and don't change anything. Mille grazie per il buon cibo 9 months later... We were there again today full of anticipation. And we were not disappointed. It was like we were there just yesterday. Nothing has changed. And the quality and taste are, according to us, outstanding.
