Halal restaurants that can be an option for Muslim tourists when they want to eat around Amsterdam Central. I ordered miso ramen and lamb biryani, and everything tasted delicious! However, the lamb biryani was a bit too spicy for me. Maybe for those who don't like spicy food, you can request for the spices to be toned down. The service was excellent and they served a big portion for their menu. I recommend this place.

At first I was very sceptical due to the branding and the big variety in dishes (Japanese, Chinese and Indian) they serve. And due to the fact that there was no queue, I always learnt from my parents: “The longer the queue, the better quality food.” Which apparently does not apply to this place. The place looked alright, I have seen better interiors. But hands down, one of the best biryani I have had. A big portion I couldn’t finish (I didn’t want to stop eating), I recommend the lamb biryani if you visit this place. Very tender, all the spices have been soaked up the long grains. The people were very nice and polite, come here if you want to support a small business owner underdog restaurant.

Really, I have never eaten such amazing Indian food like this resturant.. better than resturant in India.. hala food and they have.. they have certificate outdoor table.. the employees are so kind (Islam and Aalam) The most delicious Indian restaurant ever.. I swear, it is more delicious than our restaurants in Saudi Arabia.. Halal food and they have a certificate of halal meat. Wonderful spices and their choices are beautiful and many Their employees are amazing..

Amazing food, authentic Indian. Ripon who served us, is very humble and kind person. He offered us a ginger and herbal drink for my wife who was coughing a lot and that's was exactly what she needed. Highly recommend if you want to try authentic Indian food.

During my 4 days of stay in Amsterdam I tried multiple Indian restaurants but none were even close to Indian flavours and authenticity. This restaurant had it all in one good ambience, welcoming staff and the taste and quality of food is simply mind blowing. If someone is in Amsterdam and want to taste Indian food this is the only place. I will be back and when I am, sure I know where to go.

Food was amazing as always. We ordered curry chicken, aloogobi, fried rice and naan for a group of 3. Stuff and have plenty of left overs.

A hidden gem in central Amsterdam! Absolutely one of the best restaurants in Amsterdam. Staff was friendly and accommodating, spicy and tasty Indian/Pakistani and Japanese food. A welcome break from the endless and boring burger/pizza places. This place is a must visit. Deserves 5 stars!

The food was super delicious, the place was very nice and quiet, decorated in Indian style and with typical music, as well as the staff who were very pleasant and smiling. We ordered the chicken gyozas and the chicken curry that comes with rice, along with the Indian bread that the owner recommended, it was a good idea to pay attention to him. It was great!! Highly recommended (the only thing that is difficult to see, you have to climb some stairs). We paid about €40 or so for two people since we shared the dishes.

The Indian food is very nice, we enjoyed the set menu. The coke was served flat, which we asked to change and then got served in a smaller glass. The service poor, the waiter was very impersonable and looking away all the time.He asked for cash when we finished the meal, before we even asked for the bill, and pointed us to a cash machine.

Eten was lekker ook vonden wij de dhal soep wat te pittig. Vegetarische samosas (2) kwam er een portie met een stuk met vlees. Deze werd wel door een hele verse portie en met excuses vervangen. Bediening is overvraagd bij volle zaak lijkt het. Een keer drankjes gehad erna wrd niet gevraagd of we nog wat wouden. Veel klanten via bonaanbieding zoals wij. Was dat niet het geval geweest was ik vertrokken na half uur wachten op de drankjes zonder de etensbestelling opgenomen te hebben ook werd het ons 3 keer toegezegd. Bediening zat op de telefoon (voor 2de zaak bestellingen) toen we zeiden dat we echt wouden dat degene nu meeliep. In totaal waren we er 2 uur met veel wachten voor 4 gangen. Excuses werden op onze feedback gemaakt na betaling. Bediening leek meerdere keren hoorbaar een harde discussie te hebben (door stress?) vanuit de keuken/bar een verdieping onder zitgedeelte. Bij thuiskomst mede door keuken op lagere verdieping wel erg naar gefrituurd vet ruikende kleding. Kom er als je veel geduld hebt en van pittig eten houdt. Bediening was wisselend Engelstalig en vriendelijke meneer en meneer die beperkt Nederlandstalig leek te verstaan.

I ordered over Uber eats and after 50 mins when I try to reach them, they say the weather is bad and they don't care about a 20 Euro order and if I am fine to wait for 1hr more they will try to deliver else they can cancel the order. I gave them 1 hr and after 1 hr they canceled the order. I will never order from you. Thanks for saving my 20 bucks

We hebben maarliefst 2 uur gewacht op onze bestelling! Kregen geen excuses bij het afleveren van het eten, meneer liep gelijk weg. Rijst, kip, garnalen waren allemaal ijskoud. In de salade zaten grote stukken ui, komkommer en tomaat. Voor ons niet nog eens!

Sehr kleine Portionen für einen überteuerten Preis. Das Ambiente war schön und das Essen lecker, aber das Personal wirkte nicht sonderlich Kompetent. Es wurden mehrfach Bestellungen vergessen und die Rechnung landete auch nicht auf dem richtigen Tisch. Alles in allem ein Ort den ich nicht unbedingt empfehlen kann.

Eenvoudige Indiase keuken in het hart van Amsterdam. Het was erg druk maar toch kwamen de gerechten snel. Bestel niet de hete gerechten als je het niet gewend bent want de gewone zijn al pittig genoeg. We hebben met een social deal gegeten en we waren gewoon tevreden.
