Simply wow 🤩 We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and received a very warm welcome. We opted for the surprise chef's menu and were not disappointed. Our highlight was the swordfish carpaccio and the tiramisu for dessert. The service was excellent throughout. We would definitely come back.

Somewhat hidden away on Scheldestraat, you’ll find this Italian restaurant. The staff is genuinely Italian, and you can tell by everything. The dishes are well-seasoned, truly culinary, and show that they have shown great care. The tables are set with linen, placemats, and glasses, giving the interior a chic look. Outside, there are a few more tables along the facade. In my opinion, there is more potential here. Place olive trees instead of screens, set the (long) tables as if a Tuscan family were arriving, and the atmosphere outside will come into its own as well. Tip: the homemade Limoncello!

Come for the pasta, stay because you're emotionally attached to the owner by dessert. 🍝😄 The food is so good it made me question every life choice that led me to eating anywhere else. The owner is incredibly friendly and treats every guest like family. This place is proof that happiness can be served on a plate. If you're looking for authentic Italian food and a warm welcome, your search is over!

Rarely have I eaten such good Italian food. The staff really go the extra mile for you, even if you are with friends who are allergic, for example. Furthermore, the quality is truly absurdly good. It actually feels like you are in Sardinia. I find the appetizers very special; truly unique combinations. Highly recommended! <3 The pastas are, of course, mega good too.

The whole experience was absoluty magical. Super friendly service and a beautifull suggesties of wines was given. We were with 5 persons before ADE and took the chefs special menu. From the first bite we were taken on a journey that wouldn't end. Such a full menu with so many flavors. Would highly recommand and we are comming back!

This is my favorite restaurant! I went to Insieme with my long distance partner for the first time in August of 2024. The next time we were able to go was in February of 2025. Imagine our utter shock when we walked in and the owner of the shop remembered us after we had only been to the restaurant one time over 6 months before! We just recently went to Insieme last week (after not being there for 5 months) and when we entered, we were immediately treated like family. The service at Insieme is the best I have ever experienced. They are so attentive to the relationships with their customers and express enthusiasm whenever you walk in the door. The food is phenomenal and clearly very high quality. I especially love the panna cotta. It is such a delight to come here and to have a place that my partner and I can call “ours”.

Absolutely disappointing experience. The interior is outdated and there was a strange smell as soon as we walked in. The waiter informed us that we couldn’t order just nuts, olives or dessert with wine according to the restaurant’s policy, each person must order a main dish. This felt pretty unwelcoming. The place is overpriced for what it offers, especially considering the poor atmosphere and lack of flexibility. Just 500 meters away in De Pijp you’ll find plenty of far better restaurants - stylish, welcoming, and without bizarre rules… NOT RECOMMENDED

Exquisite Italian cuisine at a very high price. The environment is great and the staff are friendly. The food tastes okay, but I think at this price point I would have expected more. The fried fish for the main course was a little too burnt, and it left a bitter taste in the mouth which was not a good experience. The pasta was a bit too salty and I felt very thirsty after eating it. The dessert tiramisu was a highlight and was very delicious.

They allow dogs and I don't like dogs in restaurants

The atmosphere at this restaurant is great, and the risotto I had was very tasty. My husband enjoyed the vegan pasta, and we also tried the aperitif. However, I was surprised by the limited selection of pasta and pizza for an Italian restaurant. While we liked our experience, the menu doesn't offer much variety for future visits, which makes it feel like a one-time stop for us.

Our first meal in Amsterdam we had the good fortune of entering this restaurant. We were greeted and served by Alberto. We had an amazing experience enjoying the banter and many laughs with top quality service and food. We enjoyed is so much we went back the next evening. Highly recommend.

Had a quick but delicious meal with my mother yesterday. Dishes very well prepared, just like the service. Actually, this place isn't meant to be fast at all... Next time we'll take our time. Fortunately, portions are not too big, especially if you want to go through all the Italian courses.

Excellent truly Italian restaurant, a lot of Sardinia on the menu interpreted in a creative and refined way. Located near the RAI Amsterdam fair, excellent for those staying in the area or leaving the fairgrounds. However, the price is decidedly higher, around 30/40% more, compared to something similar in Italy. But the quality is there.

We dined at Insieme after a long flight from the United States. Hungry, but jet-lagged, we walked the few blocks from our hotel to the restaurant. I was a wonderful choice for us! This restaurant has it all: authentic Italian food superbly prepared, attentive service, and an attractive atmosphere. I had the special, gnocchi in a beet sauce. Different, but delicious. The tiramisu was also wonderful. The waiter recommended a wine that was fantastic! I am sad this restaurant is so far from home because I would love to return to it.

Nice restaurant with the most amazing tiramisu I ever had. I was not happy with my choice of main course but that’s probably on me and not the restaurant. They have fantastic home made bread, good selection of dishes. And again, their tiramisu is one of the best I ever had. The waiters are very friendly and welcoming. Good atmosphere and on a nice evening you can sit outside.

This is actually an Italian restaurant with beautiful Italian food, owned and run by Italians who really know how good food can be. We’ve had a lot of mediocre Italian food in Amsterdam, and Insieme outshines them all by a lot. Such delicious homemade pasta and veggies. A really good wine list. You shouldn’t think twice, you should come here and let yourself be happy.

The nastiest italian food i've ever ate in my whole life

Went there twice in one weekend. Relatively small menu. The dishes are high quality and tasty. What we didn't like, however, was that once there were two of us, then there were four of us. Nevertheless, the bread basket that was handed out was about the same size. We were charged for the requested refilling of the bread basket. We are treated more accommodatingly in other restaurants in the same price range.

Polite and professional service. Food was great too. When you’re with 2 or 4 people I would highly recommend the antipasti Mixto for 2 people. That was a very nice and tasteful start to our meal. We Also appreciated the well balanced wine recommendation when it comes to price and quality. Well done!
