Absolutely disappointing experience. The interior is outdated and there was a strange smell as soon as we walked in. The waiter informed us that we couldn’t order just nuts, olives or dessert with wine according to the restaurant’s policy, each person must order a main dish. This felt pretty unwelcoming. The place is overpriced for what it offers, especially considering the poor atmosphere and lack of flexibility. Just 500 meters away in De Pijp you’ll find plenty of far better restaurants - stylish, welcoming, and without bizarre rules… NOT RECOMMENDED

Went from Utrecht to Insieme to eat Absolutely no regrets, real Italian restaurant, atmospheric and not too big Very friendly welcome, we had a 5-course dinner with delicious dishes, the risotto, the tenderloin, the chicken and the fish, all top notch Not to mention the tiramisu and the pannacotta And delicious wines We had a wonderful relaxing evening We will definitely come back again

An unforgettable evening at Insieme Amsterdam I arrived fifteen minutes early, but was immediately warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. From that moment on, I felt truly welcome. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, as if you were coming home to someone you have known for years. The evening started with a delicious aperitif, perfect to get in the mood. What followed was a multi-course dinner that exceeded all expectations. Each dish was a work of art in itself, perfectly balanced in terms of taste, with surprising combinations and a presentation that you almost felt a shame to eat. You can taste that everything here is cooked with love and craftsmanship. What made this experience truly special was the combination of refined gastronomy with an almost homely warmth. It felt like dining at star level, but with the coziness of an Italian grandmother at the table. The service was not only professional, but also genuinely interested and caring, you really feel seen here. In short: an evening at Insieme is much more than just going out for dinner. Everything honest fresh. The Panna Cotta was special. Also the bread board with delicious oil and special butter. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the service excellent. Important elements to come back and recommend. Thanks for the nice evening.

Delicious Italian! Good service and fine dishes. Basic decor but with a lot of atmosphere. The dishes are very tasty and varied. We had a three-course menu where multiple dishes per course were served ‘to share’. We will definitely come back here!

Ordinary meal, cost-effective wine

Exquisite Italian cuisine at a very high price. The environment is great and the staff are friendly. The food tastes okay, but I think at this price point I would have expected more. The fried fish for the main course was a little too burnt, and it left a bitter taste in the mouth which was not a good experience. The pasta was a bit too salty and I felt very thirsty after eating it. The dessert tiramisu was a highlight and was very delicious.

They allow dogs and I don't like dogs in restaurants

The atmosphere at this restaurant is great, and the risotto I had was very tasty. My husband enjoyed the vegan pasta, and we also tried the aperitif. However, I was surprised by the limited selection of pasta and pizza for an Italian restaurant. While we liked our experience, the menu doesn't offer much variety for future visits, which makes it feel like a one-time stop for us.

Our first meal in Amsterdam we had the good fortune of entering this restaurant. We were greeted and served by Alberto. We had an amazing experience enjoying the banter and many laughs with top quality service and food. We enjoyed is so much we went back the next evening. Highly recommend.

Had a quick but delicious meal with my mother yesterday. Dishes very well prepared, just like the service. Actually, this place isn't meant to be fast at all... Next time we'll take our time. Fortunately, portions are not too big, especially if you want to go through all the Italian courses.

Brought a group of 25 people and Andre went above and beyond to accommodate our guests. We had several vegetarians and I requested that team all sit at one long table. His team was on top of every detail and the food was really wonderful! I highly recommend Insieme.

Excellent truly Italian restaurant, a lot of Sardinia on the menu interpreted in a creative and refined way. Located near the RAI Amsterdam fair, excellent for those staying in the area or leaving the fairgrounds. However, the price is decidedly higher, around 30/40% more, compared to something similar in Italy. But the quality is there.

The atmosphere only could be better because this restaurant needs more people to reserve. The food and service are excellent. We had the best experience ordering the new (roasted or smoked) bell pepper soup and tuna carpaccio, and the risotto with shrimp and the fish different styles. Great neighborhood restaurant, as will be back.

Top notch, I had a really pleasant meal at this Italian restaurant. The coffee brought back memories of my childhood, with that familiar, rich flavor that’s hard to find these days. The tiramisu was well-balanced and not overly sweet, just how I like it. The filet steak was cooked just right, tender and flavorful. Overall, it was a satisfying experience, and I’d definitely go back.

We dined at Insieme after a long flight from the United States. Hungry, but jet-lagged, we walked the few blocks from our hotel to the restaurant. I was a wonderful choice for us! This restaurant has it all: authentic Italian food superbly prepared, attentive service, and an attractive atmosphere. I had the special, gnocchi in a beet sauce. Different, but delicious. The tiramisu was also wonderful. The waiter recommended a wine that was fantastic! I am sad this restaurant is so far from home because I would love to return to it.

Nice restaurant with the most amazing tiramisu I ever had. I was not happy with my choice of main course but that’s probably on me and not the restaurant. They have fantastic home made bread, good selection of dishes. And again, their tiramisu is one of the best I ever had. The waiters are very friendly and welcoming. Good atmosphere and on a nice evening you can sit outside.

This is actually an Italian restaurant with beautiful Italian food, owned and run by Italians who really know how good food can be. We’ve had a lot of mediocre Italian food in Amsterdam, and Insieme outshines them all by a lot. Such delicious homemade pasta and veggies. A really good wine list. You shouldn’t think twice, you should come here and let yourself be happy.

First and probably last time... Scanty quantity for too high a price. Brief menu card. Wine is served in a pushy manner if there is still enough wine in it... Nice for Monaco but not in Amsterdam...

Although im a tourist, I cant visit Amsterdam without visiting this place as well….. :)….the staff have incredible memories, they remembered me after 8 months…impressive, food is delicious, staff are friendly, atmosphere was nice, good food quality :)….highly recommended….

The nastiest italian food i've ever ate in my whole life

Went there twice in one weekend. Relatively small menu. The dishes are high quality and tasty. What we didn't like, however, was that once there were two of us, then there were four of us. Nevertheless, the bread basket that was handed out was about the same size. We were charged for the requested refilling of the bread basket. We are treated more accommodatingly in other restaurants in the same price range.

Polite and professional service. Food was great too. When you’re with 2 or 4 people I would highly recommend the antipasti Mixto for 2 people. That was a very nice and tasteful start to our meal. We Also appreciated the well balanced wine recommendation when it comes to price and quality. Well done!

They even graciously accommodated a special request for a pasta dish for our little one, which turned out to be a highlight of the evening. A cosy but busy italian place. Very friendly and helpful staff. There are two issues. Small portions and unpalatable food. Everything was below average. We, 5 people, took different dishes and could share the dishes between each other and all came to the same conclusion. The quality was there, no doubt, but it was, simply untasty. It is a pity for such a nice place and friendly staff.

It’s been a year and a half since I’ve been and I just recommended this place to my friend who is going to Amsterdam and told her she 1000% has to go. The owner is from Italy and this is authentic Italian. When I went I had the red beet gnocchi and it was the best gnocchi I’ve ever tasted, all the flavors combined worked so well. (Better gnocchi than ones I’ve had in Italy). All the presentations were amazing and each course was better than the next. Service was kind.

Good service in a very average decorated place, unfortunately the food quality is under the price point and flavors are not the best at the least the night we were there. Right in between the rai and de pijp, this place is relatively well located, first impression is positive with an ok décor and good service. The dishes sounds good with product imported from Italy. Unfortunately the execution that night was not very high. A pity. I would not recommand.

We had a 4-course chef's selection menu here. The food and the service were great. The portions were good as well. They had options for non meat eaters as well. My partner chose meat, and I chose the non meat option. All the dishes were delicious. The wine selection was extensive, and the ones we tried paired very well with the food. The service was very friendly. We got to try some fresh black truffle along with one of the courses. They had both white and black truffles and you pay by the gram. Overall a great experience and a must try Italian restaurant in Amsterdam.

One of my absolute favorite Italian restaurants in the Netherlands. These guys bring it to a whole different level. Everything is just so tasty and so well made. They bring traditional Italians recipes to a higher level. Next to that, you feel the warmth of the people who work there and who are super friendly. It’s just outside of the touristy part, but this place is worth a detour!

This was another place we discovered by just walking down the street. Here for IBC, all the closer spots were full, so we just keep walking till we found this place. Oh my goodness was this worth the walk! Amazing food and fantastic service. This is now a trade show favourite 😀. Certainly coming back to try more of the menu.
