Delicious food and a very beautiful interior

The name says it all: 'Stunning Streetfood' is absolutely perfect! The head chef used to work in a Michelin-starred restaurant, and you can taste it even in the small dishes and snacks. We spontaneously went there for lunch and would come back anytime! The interior is eclectic but very modern and harmonious, and outside you can sit in a cheerful beer garden with a view of historic buildings.

Went out for dinner here yesterday. Absolutely no atmosphere, the bartender thinks he's amazing even though he isn't. We both got diarrhea. No, never again for us.

What incredibly hospitable people. We were so spoiled. Had a delicious meal. Fantastic ambiance inside. Simply had a wonderful evening.

You can buy a lot for €14: a movie ticket, a trip to the beach, a good book… But here, for €14, you get a measly chicken skewer! You definitely won't get full here unless you're rich. Unfortunately, we're not. 🤷‍♂️ The location is great, beautifully decorated, but that can't save the food. The service also leaves much to be desired. The waitresses preferred to chat instead of taking care of the customers, even after we'd already said we wanted to pay. We also weren't informed that you apparently have to order several dishes. We will NOT be coming back here! 🫸

After reading the reviews, we wanted to give it a try. Unfortunately, the food was tasteless, the music too loud, and the staff grumpy. We were very disappointed because it is not at all what we had expected.

Stunning street food, well NO, Mocktail with a dried-out lime with a brown rim; when asked if this wasn't very old and gross, oh no!!! Miso soup, completely tasteless, turned out bland with 2 pieces of mushroom; no one came to ask if it was okay either, and there was nothing on the table to make it a bit more pleasant or at least tastier. When paying, I mentioned both issues; the answer was, 'Yes, I can't help it, that's how miso tastes!!' Am I crazy!!! We were there last year and it was fantastic, but now never again🤮🤮🤮🤮

Nice location; however, the food in an average snack bar is less greasy and tastier. Too expensive for what is offered.

We ate here yesterday. We had to wait a very long time for our food because someone in the kitchen had dropped out. They then offered a free round of drinks on their own initiative, very thoughtful!! We will definitely be back, the aubergine was heavenly.

Food was good, the rest was not. Reserved for dinner inside but they didnt have any dinner tables for us so we had to sit outside. So we asked them if we could move inside in case they have a table later available but she responded in a rude manner with :"We do not pay attention to that." while it was their mess up. Bad service

Beautiful restaurant to look at, but it's clear who is paying for this interior! Found by my daughter, with high expectations. But believe me: nice for TikTok, but not if you love really good food at a great price. 200 euros for a pile of fries with stewed meat, an artichoke (inedible), some salmon, and some drinks? If this is the norm in the hospitality industry, you're better off eating at home. 👎🏻

The food is fine; you eat various small portions that taste good and are nicely spiced. The service is friendly. The tables are a bit too small, and not all seats are equally good and spacious.

We sat on the terrace on a beautiful summer day. Good food, mediocre service. When you ask which beers they have on tap, the response you get is: "then you should just read the menu, because I'm not going to list them all." Empty glasses were not cleared. When, at one point, the food literally no longer fit on the table and we just put the glasses on an empty adjacent table ourselves, we received a rather rude response that that was not the intention and that we simply had to wait until the glasses were cleared.

We ate some small dishes; the fried onion was especially tasty.

The worst service ever!!! After the waiter brought our drinks, he disappeared the next moment, even though I had just asked about a specific dish. We waited 15 minutes, and our waiter was constantly busy cleaning tables! He completely ignored us! After 15 minutes, we told a waitress we wanted to pay. We also told her that we would have liked to order more drinks and food, but that the waiter had completely ignored us. She simply said that he couldn't see us because we were wearing sunglasses!?! Absolutely ridiculous. Apparently, they have no interest in paying customers!

I fell in love all over again at Jaffa Jaffa. Maybe I secretly feel the same way about the delicious dishes as I do about my partner (please keep that a secret). The only downside was that my watch kept sticking magnetically to the iron edge of the table… So eating with chopsticks was an extra challenge.

Had a delicious meal in a nice atmosphere!! Also had a very tasty red wine with dinner. So good, in fact, that I stopped by the next day to ask which one it was... the question was answered with great enthusiasm and a pat on the back! We recently had a delicious meal here with a staff outing (a large group of about 20 people)! The service was top-notch, and the food was truly delicious. We had the chef's multi-course menu, and every single one of them was incredibly tasty! The rendang, gyoza, and pita with dips are highly recommended. 👌

Very surprising and delicious lunch in a beautiful setting.

The "Jaffalafel" was an excellent lunchtime meal, enjoyed in the spring sunshine with a nice beer. Service was very friendly and efficient.

Half the terrace is empty and the waitress doesn't even bother to find a spot for us.

I was informed sitting on the terrace for a beer was impossible without a reservation 😤. Yet, others were seating themselves without issue. My anticipation for the food completely vanished after this

The menu is very large with lots of choices, so the two of us couldn't order everything, but what we did order was absolutely delicious! I'll be back soon :) There's also a great outdoor seating area.

Just as Fransje Bauwer puts apple sauce on everything, in this place they serve papadams and samosas with apple syrup instead of the accompanying (Indian) sauces. It must be a local specialty, but it certainly didn't excite me.

Truly a superb restaurant! Delicious food and amazing service. We received incredibly friendly and extensive assistance with choosing our dishes, answering questions, and fulfilling our further requests. We were genuinely given extra care and time. The food was also really tasty, and thanks to the shared dining concept, you get to sample many different dishes. Highly recommended!

Went here for a drink for the first time last week. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience. I ordered a regular hot chocolate, which turned out to be 9 euros! Unfortunately, I only realized it when I got home. Probably misread/ordered it. Too bad.

Far too little food for the price. We ate with three people and had the three-course menu. Very small portions and only three dishes per course. You had to share two skewers of meat between three people, etc....not great. Then you have to pay extra for dessert, because it's not included, which costs you €52.50 (excluding drinks), and you leave with a half-empty stomach. We won't be returning. The staff and atmosphere are impeccable.

Sorry, but if I pay more than 13 euros for lunch, I don't want to be hungry afterward, and I certainly was. The taste was fine, but not so good that you can charge such prices. The bao bun and ayam were truly scandalously small, and the taste and atmosphere inside couldn't compensate. The service, on the other hand, was completely lacking in passion.

What a lovely, sort of "street food world restaurant." You sit casually at low tables with chairs or high tables with stools. The menu is quite extensive, and you have a wide selection of dishes. We were with friends and opted for the "two-course sharing" menu. There were some surprising dishes; the artichoke we ordered was unfamiliar but tasted quite good. The service was friendly and attentive. We had to wait quite a while (they had forgotten us in the kitchen) and were offered a free cup of coffee as compensation for the long wait. The atmosphere was also great; the only downside was that the music (you could really only hear the bass notes) was quite loud, even after we asked if it could be turned down a bit. Parking is available at a nearby parking facility. We think it's worth it. For four people, we had a nice evening out for €50 per person.

The lighting is super orange so you can't really see what you're eating, but the food is delicious.

Overall nice vibe, clean, and friendly staff. The food are delicious too. We were there last week with a large group of 8, we chose the 2-round menu of surprise which offers 6 dish per round for 35 euros/pp We found the portions rather not enough for 8 of us. We waited a bit long for the food.

Very tasty food, fast service, very pleasant atmosphere

We had made a reservation here for Saturday night because there were so many options to suit everyone. However, the moment we walked in, the music was blasting club music. It was impossible to have a conversation at the table, and when we mentioned this to the staff, we were told that this was "the concept." The staff also admitted it was loud and that other guests were also bothered by it, but that the music couldn't be turned down. After sitting down, we were immediately, without asking, given bread with muhamarra and a bottle of water, which then added €18 to our bill. We ordered drinks and booked a table elsewhere in Zwolle. The staff often hovered around, lacking enthusiasm, which is completely understandable. When we ordered a drink, it still took 10 minutes, even though everyone was standing still. Such a shame for such a beautiful location and decor. It had a lot of potential!

We had a wonderful meal on the charming terrace on Saturday evening. The four of us chose the chef's three-course menu. Surprising, delicious, and more than enough. Highly recommended if you're a bit of a stickler! (They did ask beforehand if you'd prefer not to have anything or if you had any allergies.) The service was excellent and explained everything. Once again: highly recommended!

We had a really delicious lunch with the two-course chef's menu. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is friendly.

It started out really well, but the quality has declined significantly in recent years. There are now nicer places with a similar concept to JaffaJaffa, where you get better food and more value for your money. The service and atmosphere at JaffaJaffa are very good, and that's definitely worth it. I won't be going back myself, though—a shame!

Beautiful spot on a hidden square. Large, cozy terrace. Delicious wine with dumplings. A nice menu with small dishes perfect for sharing.

We had a lovely meal outside on the terrace, the two of us, and opted for the two-course chef's menu. It tasted delicious and was definitely enough for lunch. If we had dined there in the evening, we might have chosen the three-course chef's menu or a soup beforehand. Friendly service. Our two dogs were even treated to a dog biscuit.

Expected more from a 13 euro Bahn mi sandwich

I went with two toddlers and 3 adults and the food was good. But the ONE HOUR wait for the second round of Chef's Choice is ridiculous. Honestly, I don't know if it's worth going back. Especially for the poor quality/price ratio. Okay, the food is good, but it's not worth the high prices.

JaffaJaffa is located in a beautiful building on the outskirts of Zwolle. The building and the atmosphere are fantastic, and the food is delicious. Unfortunately, the wine wasn't great (Chardonnay), and I found the service rather unattentive.
